Happy Sad

Sometimes when I'm "happy"
inside I am "sad".
A thought or a feeling
can cause me to feel bad.

When I think of my children
I am happy once again.
but oh how I miss them
and then there goes my grin..

I can see "Happy"
and I can see "Sad",
but when they're together
it about drives me mad!!

I smile on the inhale
on the exhale I frown.
Emotions are crazy
high and low- up and down.

I sure am "happy"
there is "One" who's the same.
He never changes.
I bet you know His name.

Though my emotions
have highs and have lows..
I can run to Jesus
and his calmness flows.

He's the same tomorrow,
yesterday and today.
So when I feel happy AND sad
I run to Jesus and PRAY.

During these times of war
where our emotions are running high,
we need stability now more than ever
in our lives,and we can find it in Jesus.
So much sadness and stress
as our loved ones are going off to war.
We feel so helpless as we watch them leave
and we watch...and watch the war unfold
right before our eyes.
We go through our daily lives and then
as we hear a laugh come from inside of us,
we feel a sadness at a thought of our soldiers
so far away....
and we say a silent prayer for them.
and their safety.
A happy and a sad moment clashing.

I pray daily for all of our Troops
and all that are helping us.
It breaks my heart when I hear
of one of our precious soldiers has been taken.
My emotions surely run high with tears
and overwhelming grief.
I have to have somewhere to run
in these emotional days and times we are in.
And Jesus is there to hear me
and listen to my prayers and cries.

I am so proud of our American Soldiers
both Across seas fighting for our freedom
and the ones here guarding America from attacks.
I am proud of our Journalist/News men and women
who put their lives on the line
so they can bring the news to us
and keep us informed of what is going on.

And I pray for our President
as he makes so many decisions each second
of every day to try to insure the safety of our men and women.

Amy, I am so proud of you.
Come home safely to us Honey.
I pray for you and all those around you.
You are always in our thoughts and the kids sure do miss you.
I love you honey. We all love you.

GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Let us keep it the land of the free and the home of the brave.
