Page 2 Great! The ghost is now in our game. Repeat the process for the wall, and now we got 'em both. However, all they are is pictures to GM, and nothing more. In order to give them actions or human control, we must make them into objects. Objects are the core of GM, everything that you can manipulate while playing your game will most likely be an object. Add an object to your game. There.
This should be your screen. Our object is blank, with no sprite representing its existence, so we will give it one. This is the ghost object, so naturally we want the ghost sprite. Click the sprite drop down box and select the ghost from the list.
Now, give the sprite a name. Call it ghost to make it easier. Repeat the process for the wall and call it wall. There, now we can begin working on what our objects can do, and how they react and interact.
