Jennings Osborne officially flipped the switch and turned on
the glorious display of holiday lights at Graceland.

Of course, Elvis own original lights adorn the front lawn
and driveway of Graceland, and his original Christmas

WARNING

Rick Stanley's Tales

A warning from EPE: "Rick Stanley, son of Elvis' father's second wife Dee, has been featured in recent tabloid articles in which he claims to have a close relationship with Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa has had no contact with Rick Stanley for many years since he betrayed her and her family by selling false stories to the tabloids about her. Rick Stanley is in no position to have any direct knowledge of anything regarding Lisa or her personal life and most certainly should not be quoted as an authority. Should Lisa ever have any announcement to make about her personal or professional life, it will be posted  on Lisa's own web site."

Elvis' Introduction Into Gospel Music Hall Of Fame

Elvis has been introduced into the Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. The following is a part of Lisa Marie's letter of acknowledgment that was read at the ceremony:
"Gospel music was a major part of Elvis Presley's life, both personally and professionally. Some of his finest work is embodied in his gospel recordings - work that brought him and generations of his fans - myself included - a great amount of joy, comfort and inspiration. He felt a calling to reach out to others in this way, using his fame in other fields to bring gospel music to new audiences. In doing so, he made a profound contribution to the industry, which you are recognizing so beautifully and appropriately tonight.
I know how much his being inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame would mean to him and I wish he could be there to enjoy receiving this wonderful honor. I join all our family and friends and all my father's loyal fans in thanking you. I'm deeply proud of my father and I'm so proud to see his work in gospel music receive this great recognition.

Thank you and God bless you all.
Lisa Marie Presley"

She received a phone call from Elvis himself inviting Cher to spend the weekend with him, and Elvis had expressed how much he admired Cher and her music.

However Cher, just couldn't believe it, she had been invited by her idol to spend a weekend, she just didn't have the nerve to do it and turned Elvis down
