| Welcome to Freelancing For Fun! Who is 3F? Hello, my name is Amy and I am creator of 3F. I am a web designer in the Western New York community, and am looking for new and exciting websites to create. Why did you start 3F? Well, I've spent the last four years of my life designing professional webpages on a part-time basis, and have spent just as much time toiling on my computer after hours for hobby. When I finally decided to open up my talents to the Western New York community, I vowed that I would provide my services out of a love for creating websites, not for making money. Keeping with that promise, I do not charge outrageous prices for any work that I do. Who do you cater to? Small businesses and not-for-profit organizations! Sorry, no large businesses...you can afford the high prices offered by other companies...I'm here to help the little guys! See some of my work: International Institute of Buffalo What do you do? I do what I call the "bare necessities" - Graphic design, as well as HTML, DHTML, and Javascript programming. Eventually I may expand into cgi scripting, but for now, server-side programming is not available (this means no e-commerce!). What does this cost? Since all of the websites I make are custom (meaning, I do not use a template design like some of those other companies out there and then impose restrictions on the buyer), prices are based on an hourly rate. My services are for those who desire a unique, professional website, instead of one that looks just like their neighbor's site. My prices are incredibly competitive and hard to beat. My main purpose is to help out the small "mom and pop" businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the Western New York area. I, myself, am a native Western New Yorker, and believe that it is very important that these "hometown" groups survive in the area. These people need a nice website created for their organization that won't break the bank. Designing websites is an after-hours hobby of mine, so I do not need to rely on high prices to pay the bills. What's the downside? I will only take one business at a time! I believe in concentrating all of my efforts into one project at a time, because that is what clients are paying for - a dedicated company that does not juggle their needs with the needs of dozens of other clients.
