Sir,
I have made many attempts to contact the person that, allegedly, has this problem. None of my emails have been responded to. No name or telephone number have been provided on the web sight. On the other hand, I have provided my name, work number, cell phone number and email address and still no response. There are something's that are common to all warranty claims that have been left off of the websight:
1. We retail cars. In the auto industry the manufacturer holds the warranty. In plain English: We fix em and are paid by the maker of the car to do so. Any decision to decline warranty work is out of our control.
2. Kia, and for that matter, all manufacturers have not only moral, but a LEGAL obligation to make repairs if they car is under warranty. Obviously anyone that feels they have wronged can easily seek counsel and pursue it through litigation. I think that a simple phone call would have been less time consuming than creating a web sight.
3. Warranty claims CAN be declined for a number of reasons that are laid out clearly in the owners manual. ( I do not know the reason why the Kia declined the customer in question. I have no way researching it without more information. )
A few of the reasons why a warranty claim would not be honored:
1. A lack of scheduled maintenance
2. Collision damage
3. Accessories that alter the original factory specs of the car
4. Previous flood and/or fire damage or a salvaged title
Once again, I have no idea why Kia denied this claim. I would love to discuss it with the customer but have not as yet heard from them. If you have more questions please feel free to email me at this address or call me in person at the Rock River Block 815 229 0510.
Thank you

It always amazes me how people will form an opinion such as you have after only hearing one side of the story. Before making such a determination, it would serve you well to get all the facts, you would be surprised what you can learn!
Car dealers actually love to honor warranties to keep their customers happy, but, if the manufacturer determines there has been abuse or that the customer failed in their obligations, our hands are tied. I do thank you for your concern and for not resorting to childish threats, foul language etc that have been in other responses to this web site. Do yourself a favor, keep an open mind, visit us and I am sure we can earn your trust and future business.
Thank you for contacting Ford Division.
We appreciate the time you have taken to write us, and we acknowledge receipt of your e-mail. We are currently addressing your inquiry and will be contacting you within three business days. For any future correspondence regarding this issue, please reference this information in your message:

Have heard about your poor business practices at Rock River Kia - Rock River Block car dealership. SHAME on you! Am helping to spread the word to everyone you don't honor warranties.
I suggest you contact Joe Hamblock, Pat Rosenberg or Brian Anderson with your concerns, warranties are gladly honored if in fact the vehicle qualifies. Call them at 229-0510
.....I could not believe an old, respectable company like Ford could be connected with a lying, irresponsible dealership like Rock River Block in Rockford.
Thank you for contacting Ford Division.
