Hershey's Great American Chocolate Chip Cookies (Bar Pan)

Ingredients
1 c butter, softened
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c packed light brown sugar
1 t vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
2 c (12 oz) Hershey's Semi-Sweet Choc Chips
1 c chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
Heat oven to 375. In large bowl cream butter, granulated sugar, brown
sugar
and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour,
baking soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in
chocolate chips and nuts. Spread batter in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x
1-inch
jelly roll pan (bar pan). Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool completely. Cut into bars.
