This site was opened in 1956 and was closed in 1971. The following pictures
are of the IFC area. This area is pretty complete with all buildings in
place including the radar towers. It is now used as a paintball place.
The following pictures are of the IFC area. This site was manned by Battery
A 49th Anti Aircraft Missile Battalion, then Battery A 79th Anti Aircraft
Missile Battalion and finally Battery A, 1st Battalion, 60th Air Defense
Artillery. This was a Regular Army site. The launch area is still intact.
The three magazines are filled with water. Most buildings and the fences
are still in place. For some reason the inner guard hut was removed.
