A Little Bit About Me.

Prepare To Be Bored:

I suspect you can tell that I am new to homepage construction. Computer stuff really isn't my "thing". However, I created this entire website "by hand" manually encoding the HTML. So, if it's not up there with the ones done using $500 programs, that's why. OK, here's some personal junk:

I'm a police officer (if you haven't figured THAT out by now, I don't know how you managed to get this far!). I find police work to be exciting, dangerous, stimulating and NEVER boring. I seek out assignments that others sometimes deem "risky". I started in police work some time ago, played executive in the aerospace industry for a short while, was with the Sheriff's office for the last few years, and am now with a suburban police department. I've been trained in highway narcotics interdiction; and I'm a candidate to become a K9 officer. I also operate a company that provides electronic and physical security

I enjoy spending time with special friends; mountain biking, working out at the gym; I LOVE thunderstorms and gorgeous sunsets. My hobbies are photography and THIS. I am going to be re-learning SCUBA diving this summer and learning to ski this winter. I -MAY- be taking flying lessons this fall (if I get talked into it).

I love spending time in our family's "cabin" (it's two stories, three bedrooms and two baths) in the forest just outside Prescott, AZ, which is about 100 miles N.W. of Phoenix. I especially like it in the winter when there's a bit of snow on the ground...it has a huge stone fireplace. Unfortunately, I don't get the opportunity to go up there very often.

I'm a reserve firefighter for a small community West of Phoenix. I'll be completing my EMT training soon.

I have two wonderful young children who are full of awe about the world. I do my best to be a father and mother to them (I'll post a picture when I get some scanned).

I'm very politically active. I am a Libertarian and I believe in the rights of the individual. However, along with rights comes responsibility. It is my firm belief that almost all of society's problems stem from a refusal to take responsibility for one's actions. I've been told that, compared to me, Rush Limbaugh is a liberal. :-)

In relationships, I love being gallant and chivalrous....and doing those little things that say "I Love You".

A couple of my favorite quotes: "If God had meant for me to watch the sunrise, He'd have made it later in the day!" (unknown); and "Life is what happens while you're busy making OTHER plans" (John Lennon).

I am 6'1" tall, about 190 lbs (subject to change...), and have short brown hair. If there's anything I haven't covered here about ME, feel free to ask (I may even answer :)

I don't have a scanner so GIFs are scarce at the moment. Soon I hope to add some shots of me at work and play, and a couple of my kids. Until then, these will have to do.

An interesting phenomenon in police work is the existence of Police Groupies, affectionately known as "Badge Bunnies." A couple of years ago, one of these ladies decided to make me the target of her attention. Despite my use of numerous telephone blocking devices, unequivocable demands for her to leave me alone, and even threatened Injunctions Against Harassment, she has persisted to this day! She recently obtained a digital camera and "honored" me with one of her first pictures taken with it. So, here, for your viewing enjoyment, is
