Episode #10092
Tape date – 6/3/05
Director – Phil Sogard

Summary: Brady tries to convince Chloe to reveal herself to him...Heather Mills McCartney continues her visit with Philip, as Belle says her goodbyes to Shawn...Shawn and Philip come to an understanding...and Bo surprises Hope with a gift for her...the Fancy Face III...and a treat for Bo and Hope fans...flashbacks of their life on the boat.

IN SALEM...Bo leads Hope down to the docks with her eyes closed for her special surprise...and reveals to her the “Fancy Face III”. She is in shock as he tells her that the third time is the charm. She remembers when they got the first Fancy Face as we see flashbacks of a very young Bo and Hope on the boat. She talks of how they compromised the first time around and notes that there is no white picket fence this time. They talk about how they had to make compromises and now they can have both...a home and the boat, as he tells her he got a good deal. He talks about how it is their haven and how they deserve it...they will always have this as their private sanctuary. He talks of how he loves her as we see more flashbacks of them on the boat and he says she is the best first mate. He leads her down below as she says it is like stepping back in time...just as it was on the first boat. There are more flashbacks of her installing the bell (saying that when it rings, it means all is well) She steps over in real time and clangs it. He takes the cover off the table to reveal a meal for them. He promises he didn’t try to cook...it’s their favorite take out. He also has a bottle of champagne, but they decide to drink it and then christen the boat with the empty bottle, lol. He makes a toast, “to us...then...now...and always”. Later, we see them christening the boat with the empty bottle. Back downstairs, they enjoy desert as Hope says it is all like a dream and has more flashbacks of them dancing on the boat. In realtime, they dance and she asks when are they going to take it out. He says soon, but now, he has other plans and carries her to the bed and they start undressing each other. They christen the boat (in another way) this time...as the camera pans back and we see the boat rocking and the bell ringing.

HEATHER...continues her visit with Philip as he says he fears he will be a burden to Belle. She tries to encourage him, telling him he will be no burden and can do anything he sets his mind to. He is afraid that people will pity him, but she tells him if he doesn’t pity himself, no one else will. He thinks that Belle will stay with him out of obligation and he thinks that she deserves better. Heather tells him that in time, he will get back to normal and that people will never even know that he is an amputee...unless he chooses to tell them. He thanks her for her time and for visiting him and she she says the only thanks she needs is for him to promise to return the favor and help someone else in the future.

IN THE HALLWAY...Shawn pleads with Belle to tell him that she loves him...not Philip. But she says she says that it is Philip she loves. Then Shawn wants her to say she loves him more, but she says that everything has changed and Philip needs her. Shawn asks until when?...till death do they part? But she tells him she is sorry, she loves Philip and he needs her. Shawn wants to know for how long. She begs him to leave...go home...all he is doing right now is hurting her and Philip. He finally says he will go, but he will never accept what has happened...and he will not stop loving her...and he knows that she still loves him as well. After he walks off, Belle dries her tears as Heather leaves Philip’s room and stops to talk to her. They chat as Belle talks about how brave Philip is being, even though she knows he is scared. Heather says that he needs her now...just be there for him and support him, for he feels like he is being a burden to her. She says they need to be honest with each other and for her not to let him wallow in self pity. As she leaves, she wishes them happiness and luck.

Later, the doctor is in with Philip, telling him he is doing well (Shawn is in the room with them). But the doctor is a bit concerned that he is going back to Salem to do his recovery and therapy. He talks about how stressful his recovery can be but Philip isn’t worried...he is sure that Belle will be there to support him. After the doctor leaves, Philip and Shawn talk as Philip wants to make sure that there are no hard feelings between them and offers his hand to Shawn. They talk as Shawn talks about how Philip is a hero and he respects him...but he cannot truthfully say that there are no hard feelings. He says that he has always loved Belle. He tells Philip that he had better promise to never hurt her. Philip tells him not to worry...if he had a choice between losing his leg and losing Belle...he would have given up his leg any time.

AT THE AIRPORT...Chloe keeps her face shielded from Brady as she tries to explain. He wants answers but she doesn’t want to hurt him. She tells him that she is leaving and he will never find her and he can’t change her mind. He begs her to at least look at him...he says that this is a miracle and he had dreamed of this moment, and how he never gave up on her. She explains to him that in the accident her vocal chords were damaged and she can never sing as she did. She says that she lost everything and feels that now she is being punished for leaving him in the first place and pursuing her dream. (Insert flashbacks of her leaving him for Vienna). She tells him that after the accident, she thought it best to let him think she was dead, but he just doesn’t understand. He tries to hold her but she pulls away and yells for him not to touch her. He says he wants to fix everything but she says nothing can fix this (still hiding her face). He talks about how they can overcome anything and reminds her that they beat leukemia. She tells him that she was at the church that day of the memorial and he can’t understand how she convinced Nancy to go along with it all...and how he thinks she almost told him several times. He continues to plead with her but she won’t reveal herself, even though he professes his love for her. She says he has moved on with Nicole as he tries to explain. He says he thought Nicole had changed, but now sees that she hasn’t and it was a mistake. Chloe admits that she couldn’t stay away from him and tells him that she was even at the mansion. Brady demands to know how Nicole manipulated her, but she says that Nicole’s only crime was loving him as well...she didn’t know that Chloe was alive until later. But Brady says even after she knew the truth, she continued to lie to him and he can’t forgive her. Chloe points out that she lied too...in fact it was the SAME lie. He tries to show the difference between Chloe’s lie and Nicole’s and their reasons. He still doesn’t understand why she is hiding from him and talks about the good times (insert flashbacks her). She says she wishes they could be together, but they can’t...she will tell him everything. She tells him that it isn’t her voice that is the problem...there’s more than that...it is her face. She turns to him and pulls off the hood and shows him the bandages. He smiles and says that nothing under those bandages will change his feelings for her...he doesn’t care. He tells her to remove the bandages, but she doesn’t want to. He tells her to remove the bandages and with tears rolling down her face, she begins to take them off...as he stares at her...and the previews show...

John (to Kate): You stay focused on the prize and eliminate all the distractions...because if you don’t, it can cost you your marriage...

Lucas (to Sami): You really expect me to believe that my mother set us up? (Sami): Tony has proof...

Patrick (to Rex): There’s no way she can survive in there...we have got to find a way to get her out. (Rex): I think I have...

Mimi (to another prisoner): We’ll see who’s going down!...as they fight...

and the credits roll...

Episode #10093
Tape date – 6/6/05
Director – Albert Alarr

Summary: It's July 4th in Salem and Germany as our Salemites honor the day with cakes and attempted jail break outs and conjure up ideas how to prove they're innocent or get Mimi out of jail.

AT THE LOFT, Bonnie visits Rex and tells him to take as much time off from work at Alice’s (paid) to do whatever it takes to get Mimi out of jail. She has her own plan and by the end of the day, Mimi should be F*R*E*E*. She admits putting a file in the cake and Patrick not knowing about it, so can deny it honestly. Rex figures Bonnie and Mimi will both be in Statesville (sounds like a name of a prison in a Superman movie, doesn’t it?) She chugs shots and he asks Bonnie to tell Mimi that he’ll never stop loving her when he learns she’s going to see Mimi. After Bonnie leaves, Rex sits in his undershirt drinking bottled water staring out the window, wondering what to do.

AT THE JAIL….Patrick delivers a cake that Bonnie made for Mimi so that she can celebrate July 4th (hmm..this show airs on Wednesday, July 6th, …guess they forgot the two day Wimbledon hiatus, LOL). The same guard is on duty and makes him go through the metal detector and of course..the cake sets it off as Patrick looks up and thanks Mom. Later we see the guard pull out a NAIL file (ROFLMAO!) as the guard laughs at how long it would take to cut a bar with IT. She tells Patrick it’ll go on Mimi’s record and he pleads with her, saying Mimi didn’t know about it and don’t write it on her file.

A couple of prisoners decide to teach the “new girl” the ropes. One (who doesn’t look like much a bully to me, LOL) gives her a toothbrush to clean the toilet with. When Mimi tries to stand up for herself and refuse, saying she’s got 10-20 years, clean it herself…the other prisoner pulls a BIG knife out of her pocket and threatens Mimi. Later Mimi takes the girl on and they start rolling on the floor fighting (bet Meems wished she’d taken some self defense classes).

Later we see the guard taking Patrick into the visiting area and he thanks her for not writing Mimi on for it (one of the perks for cute guys…sweet talking and getting away with it). Mimi arrives and has a black eye. Patrick gives her advice to use it to her advantage (she won the fight), and asks her to also let Rex come visit her. She reminds him how she lied to Rex about the abortion and would rather fight Brenda for the next 20 years than hurt Rex. Bonnie arrives and Patrick clues her in that the metal detector found her file. He tells Mimi about it and how their mom has seen too many prison break out movies. Next she’ll want him to land a helicopter on the roof. Bonnie is shocked at Mimi’s black eye and Mimi gives her the facts…she’s going to prison for 15-20 years and to face it. Bonnie tells Miriam Elizabeth Lockhart she will NOT serve the next 20 years in jail. She asks about the black eye and asks if it hurts. Bonnie threatens to get arrested to whip that prisoner personally (that’s our Bonnie). Mimi doesn’t want help to get out, she wants Rex to move on with his life. Bonnie puts the visual idea of Rex falling for another woman in Mimi’s brain.

Patrick returns to see Rex saying Mimi won’t survive in prison. Rex has an idea. He tosses a bottle of water to Patrick after telling him his idea. Patrick gives it 10-1 odds, but no other ideas, so they go for it.

IN GERMANY…Kate remembers when the kids were younger and she was so worried about little scratches…now there’s bigger injuries to worry about. John gives her some advice about Sami. Not a subject Kate wants to talk about as she argues, but John reminds her Sami’s Roman and Marlena’s daughter and they love her. If she wants everyone to be one happy family, she HAS to stop attacking Sami. He understands her having problems with that …as she has an interesting new style of flashback of her face in color on the right side and black and white flashback on the left as she remembers setting Sami up at the hotel with Brandon. He uses an example of how he defended Belle because she’s his kid and Roman and Marlena will do the same being Sami’s their’s. Kate says that’s an unfair example as Belle is a wonderful person and she’s glad to have her as a daughter in law (yeah, we could tell that last month Kate, haha)…but Sami’s the devils spawn. John stops her and says comments like that will be her undoing if she wants to have a marriage with Roman. John says like it or not, they’re one big intertwined family and Sami is a member of it. Kate agrees (to John), but privately tells herself she won’t let Sami be back with Lucas.

AT SAMI’S…Sami’s decorating a cake for the 4th and makes a mess when she drops something in the frosting. Lucas arrives and asks for her help to find Stan, wanting to know when was the first time she met him. She has a flashback of being transformed into Stan and Lucas can tell she’s hiding something. She defends her anxiety by showing him her flag cake that’s flopped and brings it over to show him and drops it on the floor by mistake (?) and gets more upset. Lucas apologizes and suggests she put it in a bowl and they’ll call it “flag surprise” or something and eat it (whatta guy!) and promises to change the subject from Stan. He does ask her how she ended up in the middle of the war zone with Tony though. He interrogates her about the note she left saying she’d be back and she asks why everyone thinks she’s causing problems. He says because she usually is. Sami changes the subject to Kate being responsible for this and how Tony has proof of it. Lucas said Tony was just saying that to get her on his side, but Sami believed Tony and wishes she had gotten the proof to how Kate had set her up with Brandon…she’d like to see Kate rot in hell. He takes her to the couch and tries to get her sympathy for Kate’s current situation..asking how she would like to find out Will lost a leg? That shocks her and she says all she wants is to be with him and Will. He has too many things to forgot, like knowing she was in bed with Brandon. Sami breaks down and says he chooses to believe his mother over her. He goes to get his laptop and will work at his place. Sami silently vows to prove Kate set her up. Sami remembers how Eugenia was involved. Hmmm.

CHLOE TAKES HER BANDAGES OFF…and Brady doesn’t even flinch (atta boy) and tells her she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever known..inside or out. She cries and can’t believe he isn’t repulsed, saying others will be and pity him for being with her. He gets upset and says that he sees the same woman he fell in love with. He’s dreamed of seeing her face ever since he thought he lost her and has never stopped loving her. We see that every time he looks at her, he sees her without scars and the way she use to look…(ahhh, love). She looks in her compact and can’t understand how he can say that, she’s ugly. She runs to the other side of the fenced enclosure demanding he let her go. He says he’ll take her somewhere they can be alone…she asks where, intrigued. He’s always wanted to take her to this place and it’s the perfect place for her to see how beautiful she is. It’s the place he’s always wanted to take his one true love to and extends his hand to her. She takes it, he kisses her hand and they walk away smiling…

As the previews roll…

Max takes a picture from Frankie and we see it’s Jennifer’s picture…

Jennifer is with Jack and she asks him to tell her the truth, if there’s something’s wrong with him..

Brady tells Chloe he wants this night to be special with them…

Sami tells Nicole she has something else to tell her and doesn’t think this will be good news…as Nicole is powering down the booze…

As the credits roll..

Episode #10094
Tape date 6/7/05
Director – Phil Sogard

Romance is in the air, as both Jack & Brady take their lady loves to a special place, while Chelsea gets Max to take her back to the lake, Rex looks for an out for his Mimi, & Nicole begs Sami to help her get Brady back.

MAX & FRANKIE are moving their things into the Deveraux apt. with Jen making sure all is o.k. Jack comes up, taking Jennifer away for a little surprise, saying it was just for the 2 of them. Jack, Jr. is at Gramma’s for a couple more hours (Guess Jo & Vern are back in town now). Jack mentions that Abby & Chelsea are following Max around like the groupies they have become (how come he isn’t on the racing circuit….thus gone??) & Frankie assures them he will keep an eye out. Jack & Jen leave.
Max is working on his car, when Abby & Chelsea come up, (Chelsea lst turning her shirt into a midriff style). Chelsea & Max have a bit of double entendre’ conversation, causing Frankie to drag Max off asking what he thinks he is doing. They have a few words, with Max noting that Frankie still carries Jen’s high school picture in his wallet, & that if he wants something to go after it. Frankie protests that Jennifer is married, but Max gives him a hard time about it. He goes back to his car. Meanwhile Abby has been chastising Chelsea, asking her what her mother would think about her actions. Chelsea says life is short, take advantage while you can. She goes for some water balloons, throws them at Max, he retaliates with the water hose on her. She asks him to go for a ride, with the top down, so she can feel the wind in her hair. Where to, he asks, and she says why not back up to the lake, where they can have some fun.
Frankie is on the phone to someone, saying he is going to take some time off. Then asks the person to check on someone, Patrick Lockhart. He knows the name from somewhere, and to see what they can find out. He returns to find Max driving off w/Chelsea.

Jack has taken Jennifer to the airport, where they have parked at the end of the runway, lay on the hood, and watch the “Salem Air Show”. Flashback to the lst time he took her there. Jack & Jennifer now have some very tender & loving conversation about their lives, how much they love each other, etc. Wonderful scenes. Jack quotes E.B. Browning (Elizabeth Barrett) & I believe it is the last lines of the famous “How Do I Love Thee” poem. Jen tells him her favorite poet is him, she has saved all his cards & letters, and even tho he has won all kinds of awards, only she knows what a great writer he really is. From Jack’s conversation, Jen worries that something is wrong with him, but Jack just says he loves her so much, it makes him weak just to be near her.

AT ALICE’S Bonnie is doing bookwork, when in comes Patrick & Rex with an idea about how to free Mimi. They ask about the security video tapes, but Bonnie says the police had taken all of them – however never watched them because Mimi had confessed. She also says there was no camera pointed at the bushes where Mimi & Jan had their argument. They go outside, and Rex sees that one camera is out of position (oh, how convenient, huh?) so they go to the office, find the box of tapes, & begin watching. Rex finds the one they need, clearly showing Jan falling with no Mimi in sight. (So much for Tek, the great detective – but typical of Salem P.D.)

SAMI IS STORMIN’ around her apt. telling herself she has to find a way to get Eugenia to blab about her & Kate setting up Sami w/Brandon. She just knows Lucas would return to her, they could be a family with Will (does this sound like Shawn of years ago, or Will’s constant mantra, or what?) (yawwnnnn). Then she can concentrate on getting her parents back together, while John & Kate can go rot. (zzzzzzzzz – grow up already, Sami!). A knock at the door, and a crying Nicole is here for a visit, saying her life is over, Brady is w/Chloe, wanting Sami to help her get Brady back. She explains to Sami what happened with the plane & all. Sami tells her to wake up, it is over. Brady knows Chloe is alive & it will not work. Nik threatens Sami with her knowledge of her being Stan, but Sami says there is NO evidence that she was ever Stan. Nicole says Tony just may some. Sami counters with her knowledge of Nik being responsible for Chloe’s skin infection. (LOL, no longer the flesh eating disease, huh?) Sami wants her out of there, Lucas already suspicious when finding them together talking once before. Nicole begins to down vodka like someone does water after being stranded in Death Valley. Sami tells her that Roman is gung ho on finding Victor & Caroline, & Vic knows Nicole tried to kill him. Advises her to pack up and leave town. Nicole is definitely a bit pottzed by now, tells Sami she wants “Stan” to maybe “deep 6” Chloe. Sami sort of shrugs.

BRADY BRINGS A BLINDFOLDED CHLOE to a pretty cottage. He lights a bunch of candles, then takes off the blindfold. Tells her this belonged to his mother, she used to come here to paint. All the pictures on the wall were done by her. Chloe says the place is so peaceful. Brady says Isabella used to come there, especially after she got sick. Chloe is still protesting about her scars, but we see Chloe thru Brady’s eyes, and he does not see them. He declares his love again, then shows her the closet full of clothes he bought for her, for their honeymoon. She says that was over a year ago, but he always kept the cottage the way it would be for them. Later, he is without a shirt, and she is in a negligee, they kiss, as Brady proclaims his love for her forever. And the previews show

Lucas ask Sami “what the hell is this?”, as he looks at a blanket covered lump in the closet. It comes off, there is Nicole, with a big hiccup, to boot.

Shawn tells Belle – I want you to know this isn’t over, I am not giving up on us.

Rex to Mimi (in the jail) – we came to tell you that you’re free. Cue Mimi to not looking too happy.

Roman to Marlena – Oh, my God, Doc! Are you pregnant?

Episode #10095
Tape date 6/7/05
Director – Phil Sogard

Summary: Mickey, Patrick and Rex tell Mimi the good news...Roman figures out Marlena’s condition...Philip and company head home from Germany but Shawn refuses to give up on Belle...Lucas catches a Nicole at Sami’s place.

AT THE JAIL...Rex and Patrick are with Roman trying to explain about the new evidence they have, sure that Mimi will be set free. Mickey arrives and tells them not to be so sure...it is up to the judge. Meanwhile, Marlena is with Mimi, urging her to retract her confession, she is sacrificing too much. But Mimi is determined to stay where she is. She notices that Marlena isn’t feeling well. Mickey tells Patrick and Rex to wait until they hear from Judge Fitzpatrick. He also informs Roman that Shawn missed his hearing and now there is a bench warrant out for his arrest. Patrick says maybe Bonnie was right...they should just break Mimi out of jail. Mickey laughs it off, telling Roman that he was only kidding, but Roman warns them not to do anything rash...just wait until they hear from the judge. But Rex is getting anxious and agitated. Rex thanks Patrick for all his help and says he is a good guy, even though others may not think so. Patrick says he can’t help it, he inherited it from his mom...only HIS schemes got him into more trouble than her (LOL). Rex still can’t understand why Mimi pleaded guilty to begin with. A cop comes and tells Mickey he has a call from the judge. Back in her cell, Mimi asks Marlena if she is okay and she says it is just an upset stomach and mentions something about the time of the day. Suddenly, it hits Mimi, who asks if she is pregnant. Marlena admits it and Mimi asks if John knows and goes on about how excited he and Belle will be. Then she realizes that Marlena hasn’t been back in Salem that long and couldn’t know she is pregnant yet. She apologizes as Marlena admits what/when it happened and that it is Roman’s. Mimi thinks that John will understand but Marlena says yes, had she told him in the beginning but not so sure now. She asks Mimi to keep her secret and she says she will. She tells Mimi she will have to tell them both soon...just as Roman walks up and asks “tell me what?” She tells Roman that she has an upset stomach and he offers to take her home as Mimi thanks Marlena and wishes her luck. Later, Mimi is alone in her cell moping around when she is told her lawyer and brother are there to see her. She agrees to see them and they tell her they have news...just as Rex comes in as well. She is upset to see him there and that they tricked her. Mickey and Patrick tell her to shut up and listen. Rex tells her that the nightmare is over...they have good news...she is free, as Mimi just looks at them dumb-founded.

IN GERMANY...John, Kate and Belle are getting Philip ready to go home. John can’t wait to get home, saying it’s his and Marlena’s anniversary. Shawn comes in asking if there is anything he can do before they leave. Kate tells him that is is NOT flying back with them. Shawn assures her that he and Philip have talked and all is okay between them but she tells him to get home the best way he can. Philip interrupts and tells her that Shawn can go with them, they talked it through. John asks Belle how she feels and she says it is fine as well (as Kate gives Shawn the evil eye). Later on the plane, Philip thanks Belle for standing by him as Kate thanks John for all he has done for them. John talks about how good it will be to get home to Marlena. They watch Philip and Belle, sure they will make it, as Shawn also watches and broods in from the corner. Shawn follows Belle to the bathroom, wanting to talk to her, telling her he isn’t giving up on them. John and Kate talk about how lucky Philip is to have Belle and John thanks Kate for helping him as well. He mentions something about his back being better now. (I was wondering...they hadn’t mentioned that in a while.) Belle tells Shawn that it’s over for them but he says it is driving him crazy. The plane hits some turbulence and she gets a bit nauseated, telling him to leave her alone. When he steps out of the bathroom, he finds Kate waiting on him. She warns him to stay away from her son’s wife. After he leaves, she says soon, he will be behind bars and out of their lives for good. Philip asks John about getting home to Marlena and he says he can’t wait to see her.

AT SAMI’S...Nicole continues to knock back the booze, urging Sami to help her. But Sami says no...she can’t believe what Nicole is asking her to do...she can’t do something like that. She tells her that it is over...she has lost Brady. Sami is trying to get her out of there before someone shows up and takes the bottle away from her and fears Nicole will ruin her chances with Lucas if he catches her there in that condition...if that happens she just may kill HER. Lucas is in the hallway and ponders knocking on Sami’s door, but returns to his apartment. To get rid of her, Sami finally says she will help Nicole come up with something and tries to rush her off. But Nicole isn’t leaving that easy...and threatens to go to Lucas and tell him that Sami was Stan as they argue back and forth. Lucas comes back and knocks as Sami hustles Nicole into the closet and tells her to keep quiet. Lucas comes in, telling her that Will called from camp and he hears a noise in the closet. Sami tries to ignore it, but he hears it again (Nicole has the hiccups) so he goes to the closet door and finds her there. Sami rushes her out the door and then tries to explain to Lucas that Nicole was upset over losing Brady and there to pick a fight with her. Lucas is upset she was hiding her and says that Sami is ALWAYS hiding SOMETHING from him. He goes to leave, but Sami stops him and gives him the “poor me” speech, saying all she wants is for him, Will and her to be a family. Lucas says if that is true, then WHY did she sleep with Brandon. She goes off on Kate, blaming her for that fiasco and asks him if she proves it was Kate’s doing, will he take her back? Lucas says he never stopped loving her...he just doesn’t trust her. Sami damns Kate as Lucas points out that she always blames others for her problems. He says he wants to trust her but can’t as he leaves. He finds Nicole cowered in the hallway, completely snockered and she asks him for a ride home. He offers to call her a cab and tells her that she needs to realize she has a problem. He says if she ever does realize that, he will take her to her first AA meeting. In her apartment, Sami’s wheels are turning as she wonders how to get back at Kate...she says that Eugenia doesn’t know it yet, but she IS going to help her.

ROMAN TAKES MARLENA BACK TO THE PENTHOUSE...as they talk about Rex and Mimi. Roman tells her that he talked to Eric and he says he may visit soon. Marlena thinks that would be good for Sami as they talk about her behavior. Marlena says if anyone is to blame for the way Sami turned out, it is her. She says that Sami has been through a lot because she was angry with her. She needed help and fears that it may be too late for her now. She still can’t believe that Sami slept with Brandon and ruined her chances with Lucas...the one man she loves. She doesn’t want to offend Roman, but says that Kate’s behavior bothers her because she hates Sami so much. Roman tries to defend Kate, saying she promised she would try to get along with Sami, but I don’t think either of them believe that. Marlena doesn’t think that Kate actually ever tried and says the time will come that she MUST say something to Kate about her treatment of Sami. She says that Sami may be telling the truth about the incident but Roman reminds her that Sami said John was helping Kate. Marlena doesn’t believe that, she says that John loves Sami. Roman tells her that if he finds out that Kate was involved in any of it, their marriage is over. If Sami is telling the truth, he WILL stand by her. Suddenly, Marlena is hit by a wave of nausea and rushes off. Later she comes back, vowing she is okay...just an upset stomach. She tells Roman she will have some herbal tea and crackers and will be fine. He remembers that is what she did when she was pregnant and says Oh my God, Doc...are you pregnant? Freeze frame on Marlena...as the previews show...

Belle (to Mimi): I still have feelings for Shawn. (Mimi): What are you going to do about that?...what is he going to do without you?...

Shawn (to Kate): If Philip hadn’t been injured, she would be at home with me right now. (Kate): You have lost her forever...so for once in your life, why don’t you act like a man and accept it?...

John (to Marlena and Roman): Is there something going on here I need to know? (Roman): John, I think we need to talk...

THE EARLY EDITION

FRIDAY, JULY 8TH, 2005

Episode #10096
Tape date 6/8/05
Director – Roger Inman

Summary: The gang from Germany returns home to family and friends; Jack's determined to make his last days with Jen happy; Chelsea plays Max against Patrick.

AT THE DEVERAUX’S…. Jen and Jack return home, happy and in love. Frankie and Abby witness their happy homecoming as Abby points out to her parents that they have an audience (Frankie). Jen asks where Chelsea is and asks if she’s with Max. Cue anxious look on Frankie. Frankie admits to Jen that he’s jealous of how lucky Jack is when Jack goes to put something in the kitchen. He tells her she looks just like she did when they were together (they both do!) He raves about her kids and how Jack Jr. is a character (really? Could have fooled us) as Jen says he is just like his dad and makes her laugh so hard. She tells him that Salem means everything special to her as that’s where her family, friends, home are. He senses there’s something wrong and asks her what it is. She senses there’s something really upsetting Jack, but he won’t tell her what it is.

Abby walks in the kitchen and finds Jack sweating, gasping and holding his right side. He tells her he tried to move something and strained himself. She admits she was worried something was really wrong. When she mentions Patrick’s name and how he was there for them, Jack grabs her and demands that if anything ever happens to him, she has to promise that Patrick will NEVER move into their house again.

Jack returns to the living room and hears Frankie tell Jen he’s a workaholic. Jack knows that would be different if he found the right one..like if Jennifer, if she were available. Jen is shocked at that statement and apologizes..reminding Jack she’ll never be available again and he’s stuck with her for the rest of their lives. Jack hugs her and sadly says that’s a promise as Frankie sadly looks away as well. Jack returns to the kitchen and Frankie offers to snoop around for Jennifer to find out what’s wrong with Jack. She accepts gratefully and hugs him, knowing he’d find out if she were to do it. In the kitchen, Jack takes some pills and says he wants the time they have left to be happy.

ON LOOKOUT POINT… Chelsea and Max are parked again. He’s anxious to fool around but when she is reluctant, asks about the guy she’s saving herself for. Max starts acting like an over hormonal teenager, anxious to put the moves on Chelsea. She offers to go half way with him and admits being a virgin. He offers his services if she’s interested (oh brother). Not sure why he’s driving around up there, but Patrick drives by and yanks Max (big time race car driver, LOL) out of the car and pulls him aside..reminding him that Chelsea is a high school student. Of course Chelsea is smiling like the proverbial cat over this. Max tells Patrick that she’s 18 and it’s her choice. Patrick wants to take Chelsea home and she agrees to go with him as she trusts him. Max drives off and Patrick warns her to be careful with Max. Being 18 doesn’t give her a license to be stupid. She turns on the tears and says Max was just being nice. Since her parents died, cue the tears as Patrick as expected takes her into his arms to comfort her and Chelsea smiles.

Abby’s outside when Max returns. She asks where Chelsea is and he tells her.

AT THE LOFT… Belle and Shawn wheel Philip into the loft (not even a stop off at the doctor/hospital first?). Shawn watches as Philip tells Belle he’s happy to be home and how he loves her (c’mon Shawn, enough already…get a clue!) Kate and John are proud of Belle standing by Philip as they bring his things up the elevator and into the loft. Philip tells John to leave his stuff downstairs as he can’t climb the stairs to their bedroom until he gets his prosthesis. Belle is encouraging to him, saying he’ll be up and back to normal activities in no time, then has to get up and curb Shawn who lurks and quietly rants about Belle eventually sleeping with Philip. Belle hugs John and wishes him happy anniversary. She knows Mom will be so happy to renew their vows. She steps quietly aside to curb Shawn again and tell him she will be there for her husband and returns to Philip’s side. Kate’s turn to whisper to Shawn to realize that Belle’s chosen Philip and to leave.

MARLENA AND ROMAN… Commander Brady is a little slow on the intake when Marlena tells him she’s not only pregnant, but a few months along..then the realization it’s his baby clicks. She figures she hasn’t been home long enough for it to be John’s. John walks in carrying a bouquet of flowers. She asks if they’re for her and he says they’re not for Roman (good one John) and happy anniversary. He asks what’s wrong and Roman said he came to see Doc about Sami, same ole, same ole. John understands the mood they were in and senses something else is going on. Roman tells Marlena he thinks it’s time they told John. Marlena tells John that Roman is worried because Sami is so determined to marry Lucas. John tells Roman he talked with Kate in Germany and she’s agreed to lighten up on Sami. Roman is obviously mad Marlena didn’t tell John about being pregnant and tells John to take care of his own family and he’ll do the same and leaves (ouch). John says Roman’s a little touchy as he waves his finger, and tells her it’s time they celebrate their anniversary. They’ve just gone through the worst time of their life. Marlena breaks down in tears and cries on his shoulder. She says she was worried about Belle and Philip and he tells her they can be proud of their little girl. She made the right choice and stood by her wedding vows and stayed with Philip. Marlena keeps busy putting the flowers in a vase as she justifies to John that she knows it’s hard for people to stay committed when they still love another, adding that she’s had patients say so. She’s surprised when John tells her that SHE was the reason Belle chose Philip as she did what her mother would do, honor her wedding vows. (double ouch) He takes her into his arms and says he’s the luckiest man on earth to have her. We return to him pouring champagne as he toasts to his wife and the only woman he can ever love (hmm..guess the airport proposal to Kate is a distant memory now, haha). Marlena isn’t sure what to toast back with and he suggests “to spending her life with the man she loves the most”. He drinks, she doesn’t. He knows something’s wrong and she puts her champagne down saying she just wants him to hold her.

MIMI IS RELEASED… and happy to be back in real clothes as she hugs Rex. Patrick warns her mom will want to throw her a party at Alice’s, but understands she wants alone time with Rex. Rex (who’s apparently been too busy getting her released to shave) tells Mimi he has an amazing night planned for them. They walk into their loft and a candlelight dinner is waiting for them. He pours some champagne and they toast her freedom and their spending the rest of their lives together. She says she woke up in a cell that morning and now she’s here. Rex asks her what the big secret is she’s been keeping from him. Saved by THE Belle as she gets a phone call from next door. Belle tells Mimi to grab Rex and come right over so they can see Philip. Mimi agrees and tells Rex..he says they’ll finish this conversation later and no more secrets.

Mimi and Rex welcome Philip home and Kate says they’re all happy now as Shawn aril lurks in the background. Mimi announces they found out Jan lied (Shawn says big surprise..) Mimi quietly asks Belle if she made the right decision and Shawn quietly agrees with Mimi. Later we find the gals alone. Mimi knows what’s in Belle’s heart as Belle defends her choice.

Kate meets Roman in the hallway and they talk. He tells her he was with Marlena when John got home and she wonders why, what’s wrong. He tells her that Doc needed to talk about Sami and he doesn’t want to ruin Philip’s homecoming and said they’ll talk about Sami later. Kate tells Roman not to try and get away from her again and they hug. Shawn tells Belle it’s not over and leaves. She rushes to the door to tell him goodbye. Roman tells himself he hates this…not only has Shawn just lost the woman he loves, but now he has to arrest him.

The camera freezes on Shawn’s sad face…as the previews roll…

Hope to Bo: Why do you keep saying it would be a mistake for Shawn to be want to be with the woman he loves? Why?

Kate (to someone on the phone): Why are you calling me? Are you threatening me?

Sami to Lucas (after he asked who would help Tony): The one person who’s been after her forever…

Philip to Belle: Thank you Belle, for not giving up on us.

Episode #10097
Tape date 6/13/05
Director – Albert Alarr

Summary: Quite a ho-hum show...if you need to miss one, this is it. Eugenia puts the squeeze on Kate, as Sami is determined to find evidence that they were in cahootz...Shawn feels that everyone is turning against him...as his parents feel he is avoiding them...Lucas and Kate visit Philip...as Kate continues to hound Belle about staying with Philip...Rex wants the truth from Mimi.

AT REX & SHAWN’S PLACE...Rex and Mimi are at it in the bedroom, he glad she is home. Shawn is in the living room (hearing them) imagining it is him and Belle. Later, Rex gets dressed, telling Mimi he has a surprise for her. He asks her again why she pleaded guilty, but she skirts the issue. He tells her he will be back shortly and leaves. In the living room, he and Shawn talk about how Rex never gave up on Mimi as Shawn mopes around about losing Belle. He is sure that she is with Philip out of sympathy. Rex says that Shawn must accept it but he says he never will. He points out that Rex moved Heaven and earth to get Mimi back and he doesn’t intend on giving up on Belle either. After Rex leaves, Shawn and Mimi talk as she tries to get him to see the situations are different. But he is sure it will never last, because he and Belle belong together and he feels that his friends are turning on him. His cell phone rings (Bo calling...see below) but he doesn’t answer it. Then the other phone rings and Mimi answers it. It is Bo, looking for Shawn. She lies for him and tells Bo that he isn’t there, but promises to give him the message to call. Shawn tells her that his dad is riding him about leaving Philip and Belle alone and he doesn’t want to talk to him right now. Later, Mimi is going through the mail and sees a letter for Shawn from the courthouse. But he isn’t concerned, saying it is probably just a continuance for his court date. Rex returns with bags of groceries to make breakfast. They ask Shawn to join them but he goes to take a shower. He returns later and tells them he is leaving. Alone, Rex and Mimi sit and he tells her that he wants to know what she and Jan were fighting about...he wants to know what secret Jan had on her...he wants the truth.

ACROSS THE HALL...Philip is trying to maneuver around when Belle comes in asking what he is doing. He was trying to get water to wash himself and is frustrated he can’t do things for himself and afraid that Belle will get sick of caring for an invalid. She assures him that she loves him but he is discouraged he can’t do things for himself. She assures him that together they can do anything. She runs water and gets a sponge to bathe him as he points out that she hasn’t seen his leg yet...or what’s left of it, but she assures him that she can handle it, so he pulls back the blanket and shows her (we don’t see). He talks about the phantom pains and how bad it looks. She tells him to just relax and enjoy it as she bathes him. He leans over and kisses her and thanks her for loving him and taking care of him and not giving up on him. They start to kiss passionately, but are interrupted by a knock at the door.

AT THE BRADY HOUSE...Bo and Hope can’t wait to take the Fancy Face III out but want to surprise Shawn first. They worry about not hearing from him since his return. Bo just hopes that he isn’t trying to come between Belle and Philip. But Hope doesn’t agree so whole-heartedly saying that she is sure he can’t stand aside...Belle is the one he loves. She defends her actions of giving him the money, pointing out that he would have gotten the money and gone anyway...somehow. Bo points out that Shawn missed his court date and could go to jail. But Hope doesn’t think that will happen. Both are anxious to find out what happened in Germany, so Bo calls Shawn to find out what is going on. (This is where he talks to Mimi). When he gets off the phone, he tells Hope that Shawn is avoiding them. Roman calls and gives Bo an assignment...one he won’t like. Hope asks what is wrong and Bo tells her that the judge has issued a bench warrant for Shawn’s arrest and Roman wants Bo to carry it out.

AT LUCAS’S PLACE...Kate arrives with some gifts to go in the care package to Will at camp. They are planning to visit Philip, but she is early. Sami walks out of the other room, wet and in a bath robe as they both ask “What the HELL are YOU doing here?” They bicker back and forth as Kate demands an explanation as to why she is there...and the fact that both she and Lucas are half naked. Sami skips the formalities and lights into Kate about setting her up with Brandon. Lucas settles them down and explains that Sami is there only to take a shower since hers is broken. Kate doesn’t believe it and tells her to get out. Sami wants to talk to Lucas privately so they go to her place. While they are gone, Kate gets a call from her old pal, Eugenia, reminding her it’s time for Kate to hold up her end of the deal. She is having a rough time and wants a job. Sami and Lucas talk about how he never answered her question...IF she can prove Kate set her up, will he give her another chance. Lucas still isn’t convinced that Kate was involved, but IF Sami comes up with proof, yes, he will. He leaves, with Sami vowing to get that proof...and she knows just WHO to visit. Meanwhile, Kate is upset that Eugenia is calling her and asks if she is trying to blackmail her. No, she is just reminding Kate that she promised her a job and she is wanting one...NOW. Kate says she can’t do that, everyone would be suspicious, which upsets Eugenia. Kate warns her not to threaten her and Eugenia says she has no proof to blackmail her (as we see her with audio tapes, she is hiding in a hollow book, as she smiles). Lucas walks in, asking Kate who she is talking to. Kate cuts her off and lies to Lucas saying it was about work. She asks Lucas WHY Sami was there...is she trying to blame her again for sleeping with Brandon? Lucas tells her yes and if he finds out that there is any truth to her involvement...he will never forgive her and she will lose him forever, as well as Will. As he goes to dress, Kate tries to calm herself down. There is a split screen where we see Eugenia saying that Kate had better come through for her...and Sami saying she is sure that Eugenia is the key. Later, we see Eugenia at her place talking to herself about her “insurance policy” as she lays the book down on the table and leaves. Sami is out on the fire escape looking in. She knocks on the glass and once sure that no one is at home, sneaks in through the window and snoops around. She sits down at the table, wondering where the proof is she needs...all the while it is right under her nose...in the book.

BACK AT BELLE’S...Kate and Lucas show up to visit Philip. Lucas and Philip talk while Kate and Belle make coffee. Philip assures Lucas that he is doing okay and will be up and around soon. Kate takes the opportunity to needle and harass Belle, telling her that she needs to be there for him. Philip tells Lucas that he loves Belle and how he doesn’t know what he would do without her. Kate tells a nervous Belle that she needs to be there in every way for Philip, including being intimate with him. She tells her she needs to let Philip make love to her...just as Shawn walks in the door, hearing this. Freeze frame on Belle with Shawn in the background...as the previews show...

Sami: There’s evidence here of what Kate did somewhere...I just need to find it...

Chloe (to Brady): I’m not the same person I was...and I never will be. (Brady): I can’t believe I was so blind I couldn’t see it before...

John (to Marlena): Oh my God...You knew she was alive and you kept that secret from Brady? (as Marlena nods)...

Bo (to Shawn): I am here as a police officer...and I have a warrant for your arrest...

and the credits roll...

Episode #10098
Tape date 6/13/05
Director – Albert Alarr

Summary: Kate continues to play her games..but Lucas is catching on and Sami's closer to getting the goods on her; Marlena and John visit Chloe and Brady.

AT THE COTTAGE… Chloe continues to grow uncomfortable about Brady’s staring at her and wanting to take her out in public.

AT THE PENTHOUSE….John and Marlena have breakfast on the balcony. She gets morning sickness when he offers her toast. Brady calls and tells John about Chloe being alive and asks him and Marlena to come see her. After hanging up, John is shocked to learn Marlena knew and kept the secret from Brady. She fills him in on why she couldn’t. He’s impressed that her hypocratic oath is as sacred to her as her marriage vows. She’s surprised to hear John kept Isabella’s cottage and he justifies that he loved Izzy B and they shared a son, he couldn’t part with it and it’s Brady’s now anyway. He knows Roman will always be a part of her life and they also share 2 beautiful children and she’d understand. He apologizes for not telling her about it though. Marlena hopes John can forgive her as she’s about to tell him about the baby, when he interrupts saying she had an oath to keep when the doorbell rings. It’s Roman. John tells him about Chloe and Roman’s surprised. He wishes he had the same good news about Caroline and Victor and asks how Marlena is doing. She tells him she’s holding up when John excuses himself to go get something for her “upset stomach”. Our super sleuth commander figures out she hasn’t told John yet, but Marlena tells him she’s going to tell him right away. Roman says he won’t tell Kate until she tells John. He offers to stick around if she wants him there when she tells him. She procrastinates saying John needs to see Brady and Chloe together first. John rushes down unable to find anything for her stomach, but says they’ll stop at a drug store on the way to the cottage.

Chloe tells Brady that Marlena knew she was alive, but ethically couldn’t tell anyone else without her okay. She explains that Marlena tried to convince her to tell him herself, but she refused. He remembers how Marlena did encourage him not to give up on Chloe though. Chloe admits being at Alice’s and overhearing him. He can’t believe she didn’t talk to him then and she’s still surprised he doesn’t react to her scarred face (she has a bandage on her cheek today). He says he finally sees what she’s talking about (but doesn’t). John and Marlena arrive and John anxiously hugs Chloe and welcomes her home, not saying or reacting to her face. John and Brady talk privately to let Marlena talk to Chloe. Marlena knows that Brady only sees her inner beauty because his true love transcends everything else. He’s literally blinded to any imperfection (even a bandage?) John asks for a moment alone with Chloe. He asks Chloe to do something for him in Salem tomorrow. She refuses to go to town. He tells her the scars don’t matter to Brady and never will when he does see them. He pulls her into another room and tells her about the surprise wedding ceremony to renew their vows. He knows Brady will want to be there and her by her side.

Brady asks Marlena for her help to convince Chloe there’s nothing wrong with her. She promises to talk with Chloe and says she’ll need to talk with him too as part of Chloe’s therapy. He agrees.

ROMAN calls Bo to arrest Shawn, saying he’s too busy trying to find out if mom and Victor are still alive, then saying he’d figure Bo would rather do it himself. Hope’s listening next to Bo and flat out tells him he’s NOT going to arrest his own son. EUGENIA’S APARTMENT…We see Sami searching Eugenia’s apartment as Eugenia arrives home in the hallway. She crawls under the bed and an exhausted Eugenia kicks off her shoes and flops on it. She fumbles around for her cushy slippers and Sami puts them near her hands. Eugenia flops back on the bed to put them on Sami squeaks when the mattress hits her head. Eugenia decides to call and see how her “baby” is doing. Sami mouthes “baby?” We see she calls the psychic and asks how Dino is doing and learn it’s Eugenia’s dog. She blames Sami for her downfall still (hey babe..that’s been SO long ago..take some responsibility) and she and Kate gave Sami that payback she needed. Sami silently says YES! After she figures out Dino is Eugenia’s dog and that the psychic is dogsitting it..she overhears Eugenia tell the psychic she has enough on Kate to keep her son Lucas away from her forever if she doesn’t do what she says she’s going to do for her. The psychic rushes off the phone as Dino’s chewing on her tarot cards and Eugenia goes to shower before her next dead end job. Sami leaves, but knows she has to find what Eugenia has on Kate.

AT THE LOFT…Kate’s trying to order Belle what to do and Shawn protests. Kate tells him to leave and not only does Shawn refuse, but Philip rolls up with Lucas behind him agreeing that Shawn should be there. Lucas asks Kate what’s up as she just kicked Sami out too. Roman calls Kate on her cell and tells her about the bench warrant for Shawn. He tells Kate that Bo and Hope are on their way over to arrest him. Kate hangs up and tells Belle and company that if that’s what they want, Shawn can stay, thinking to herself that Shawn won’t be around long after his parents arrest him. Bo and Hope arrive and don’t even say welcome home or hug their son…they announce they’re there as police officers and to arrest him as Kate smugly watches. Belle feels responsible as Shawn came after her. Philip asks Kate to call Judge Fitzpatrick, her friend, to cancel the bench warrant and the others look to her to do so. Philip offers to explain how Shawn came to Germany to help him. Shawn refuses, but Bo tells him to stop acting on impulse and to think things through first. Hope confronts Kate about getting her friend to move his court date up to cause this to happen and Kate denies it. Roman arrives and Hope tells him that she thinks his wife is doing everything she can to destroy her sons life. Roman tells Shawn he thought his dad would be the best person to arrest him. Hope hugs Shawn and tells him they’ll get through this and stays at the loft when her men leave. Kate apologizes, calling it a “reality check” for Shawn to Lucas. Hope rants to Roman about Kate. He disagrees and says Shawn brought it on himself. Hope quietly tells Lucas she knows his mom would do anything she can to protect her children and Lucas finally catches on she’d maybe do that to set Sami up and keep her away from him too. Hope tells him Kate’s very wealthy and could pay anyone to help her. She’s capable of anything when it comes to protecting her children. Lucas stares at Kate, realizing she could do that …..as the previews roll…

Chelsea to Abby: “Now that Patrick and I are sleeping under the same roof (huh?), we’ll soon be sharing the same bed.”

Maggie to Mickey: “I’ve made a decision about our future.”
Mickey smiling says: “I’ve made a decision too.”
Maggie’s response: “I’m leaving you.”….as Mickey looks shocked

A very happy Belle to Marlena: I’m going to have a baby brother or sister. Dad must be SO excited.
Marlena’s response: “Dad doesn’t know.”

John to a crying Kate: “You’re as beautiful inside as you are out.”
Roman arrives smiling saying “I couldn’t agree more.”

As the credits roll…

Episode #10099
Tape date 6/14/05
Director – Herb Stein

The park is a busy place today, as Chelsea figures it is time to make her move, in more ways than one, while Marlena confides in Belle & Mickey finally makes an important decision.

ABBY & CHELSEA are watching some shirtless guys play basketball, when Max shows up, much to Chelsea’s delight, especially as he pulls off his shirt, and she gives him her “look”. Abby argues with Chelsea about Max, tells her he is only using her, but Chelsea claims she is using Max to make Patrick jealous. (Sheesh….cannot believe all this). Max puts his shirt back on, & invites Chelsea to go for some recreation of their own. Meanwhile, Patrick has met up with Billie, telling her how he found Chelsea in a rather compromising position, and she is headed for trouble. Billie mentions that Mickey called, saying that Chelsea’s house is being foreclosed on tomorrow (appears Chelsea has been staying in her own home!) & mentions how she promised Chelsea she could stay with her, but even she has no place to stay. Patrick offers his place, saying that now that Mom & his little brother (Well, well, so there still IS younger brother Connor) are both at the Horton place (no summer camp for Connor?? Lolol) the house is really empty. Billie accepts, & Patrick offers to help move Chelsea out of her house. Max & Chelsea come up. Billie takes Chelsea away for a little talk, while Patrick does the same with Max. Chelsea knows she has to move out, & is very happy to hear they would be moving in with Patrick, has a fantasy about him (no, I am not describing it, would just aggravate me all over again.) Meanwhile Max challenges Patrick to a one on one basketball game, saying if he loses, he will leave Chelsea alone. We see them both, shirtless of course, with score tied at 2 each. Max manages to foul Patrick, getting the last shot, claiming he won. Chelsea comes up with Billie, says she cannot go with Max, as she has to pack up for her move.

MIMI & BELLE are walking in the park, talking about Rex. Mimi is still whining about Rex pushing her to tell him what she & Jan were arguing about. Belle spots her mom, and goes to talk to her. Marlena is sitting on a bench when Roman comes upon her. He brings up her pregnancy, just as Belle comes up, and overhears. Belle is all excited, Roman leaves. Marlena has to tell Belle that John does not know yet, then finally tells her that the baby is Roman’s, & explains how it happened. Belle is very understanding, hugs Marlena, telling her she loves her always, she understands, etc. Marlena is very happy. Belle’s cell goes off, & she sees it is Basic Black, figures it is about a project she has not finished. But it is dear ol dad, calling to tell her of his plans for renewing vows with Marlena the next day, & tell Belle not to mention it to anyone.

MAGGIE IS COMPLAINING TO ALICEabout messy Bonnie, as she picks up magazines, catalogs, etc. all over the floor. She tells Alice (who looks absolutely gorgeous) that not only did Bonnie take her house, and her restaurant, but she also took her husband’s heart. Mickey comes in the back door with a bouquet of roses, saying aloud that “she” is really going to be surprised. He leaves, as Bonnie comes in, arms full of shopping bags, and cigarette dangling from her mouth, all tired from a hard day of shopping, & moaning about her back hurting from sleeping on that sofa bed in Mickey’s study. Mimi comes in (no one uses front door there, huh), now whining to her mom about Rex pushing her to tell what Jan had on her. Bonnie advises her to tell Rex the truth, but then spots a folder, and has to check it out. She sees it is paperwork for a restaurant. The phone rings, and it is Father Jansen, wanting to confirm the arrangements for the vow renewal tomorrow with Mrs. Horton. (Oh, yeah, like he would do that). Bonnie is all excited, telling Mimi that Mickey has chosen her, they are going to renew their wedding vows, & she will be back in the master bedroom, & queen of the mansion.

Meanwhile, Mickey has run into Maggie, and before he can say a word, Maggie tells him she has made a decision, and she is leaving him. She is yelling at him, but he finally manages to get a word in, telling her that he also made a decision, actually long ago. But he put off doing anything about it, because of the problems with Mimi. He gives Maggie the roses, telling her there is no other woman for him, gets down on one knee, asking Maggie Simmons Horton to remarry him. With tears in her eyes, Maggie accepts. Mickey talks of how devastated he was when Maggie was gone, how lonely, and Bonnie helped him thru it. He doesn’t know himself how he thought the gratitude he felt was love, just an old fool he guesses. He tells her about the new restaurant he bought for her. Alice is watching all of this, and Bonnie comes in to see Mickey & Maggie hugging. Bonnie calmly says they need some time alone, she saw the paperwork for the restaurant, she has talked to Father Jansen, and she will now go down to Alice’s. She leaves, & Maggie tells Mickey that Bonnie seems to be taking this all a little too well. Mickey agrees, & Alice says, you don’t think she thinks Mickey has chosen her, do you? And we all know that is exactly the case, as Bonnie tells herself how Mickey is letting Maggie down easy.

JOHN COMES INTO KATE’S OFFICE& they talk of the upcoming double vow renewal ceremony. Kate is making the plans for flowers, etc. John tells her about Chloe being alive, & how he has asked her to sing, but she is nervous because of her scars. They then talk of their time together, with John thanking her for helping him thru a difficult time, & says how she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. (Oh, John, just wait til you hear all she has done!). Roman comes in, hearing the last part, & agrees. John leaves, with Roman & Kate talking a bit. She locks the door, & asks Roman to make love to her. They both declare their love for each other, falling down on the sofa, as they begin to take jackets off. Kate says no one will ever come between them again. Freeze frame on Roman’s face. And the previews show

Abby: You’re going to freak Patrick out
Chelsea: When he sees my body, he’s gonna flip out, not freak out.

Mimi to Shawn, who is in a jail cell: I was pregnant with Rex’s baby. I had an abortion.

Chloe: What did I do to deserve you?
Brady: Just don’t stop loving me

Philip: There was a time when I was in combat, and was pretty sure I was never going to see her again. Now that I’m home, I am never going to let her go

Belle: ( in an examining room) You don’t think I could be pregnant, do you? (hmmm, Belle you have not been with your husband for 7 months, and haven’t been with Shawn either……why would you even think that?)

Episode #10100
Tape date 6/15/05
Director – Roger Inman

Summary: Chloe and Brady share time alone...Mimi visits Shawn in jail...Billie and Chelsea move in with Patrick, as Chelsea is set to make a move on him...At the hospital, Philip is being fitted for a prosthesis...as Belle has some problems of her own.

AT ISABELLA’S COTTAGE...Chloe wakes up to find a note from Brady...he has gone to get her a surprise. She is still puzzled as to how Brady can’t see her scars when he returns with flowers, saying that he will always love her and they kiss. She asks him about it but he says he only sees the woman he loves. She has second thoughts about singing at the wedding and tells him that she can’t do it...she isn’t ready and rushes off to the bedroom. Later we see Brady outside on the phone, thanking Marlena. He goes inside to check on Chloe, who is crying. She apologizes for getting so upset, but he is understanding as they sit and talk. She talks about how she has always been self-conscious of her looks, going back to the orphanage and high school and talks of the kids calling her “ghoul girl”: She says that this is a setback for her and she isn’t sure she can go through all that again, with people staring at her. But he assures her she will be among friends and they will just be so thrilled she is alive, they won’t care. But she talks about in her career, appearances ARE important. He assures her (yet again) she is beautiful...BUT, he can help her if she wishes. He says he talked to Marlena, who happens to be friends with a Dr. Travis...who is the BEST plastic surgeon in the world. (Hmmm...is this Wayne Northrup’s new character?) Marlena is going to talk to him about taking Chloe as a patient. Even though he doesn’t think she needs to go, he will go with her if it will help. She is thrilled and asks what did she do to deserve him. He carries her to the bedroom where they end up on the bed kissing. Later, both under the sheets, he tells her to go look outside to see her surprise...he had almost forgotten...he was distracted. (LOL) She looks outside to see a horse and carriage, as she remembers their time in Colorado riding in one (cue flashbacks). She talks about the video they made and how she watched it over and over while she was in the hospital. She goes back to the bed as they begin to kiss and Brady says the horse and buggy can wait.

AT THE JAIL...Shawn is having flashbacks of Belle choosing Philip as he is having a tantrum and slings something across the room...just as Mimi arrives. They talk as she says that perhaps Belle made the right choice. He professes his love for Belle, but Mimi says he should respect Belle’s choice and her feelings. She is worried about him and reminds him that she is his friend, asking if there is anything she can do to help. He asks how she got in there and she laughs telling him she told them she was his girlfriend. She remembers at one time how she wished that were true. They laugh as he remembers kissing her that time in Paris. He says that now she and Rex can finally be together but she fears telling him the truth. Shawn asks just what she did that was so bad and she breaks down and tells him everything, about the abortion and about Jan blackmailing her over it. Shawn tries to be supportive but she is sure that Rex will dump her when he finds out. Shawn asks if he really needs to know...what is done is done and there is nothing that can be done about it to change things. Mimi is shocked to hear him say that, but he says there is no need for Rex to ever know the truth. He tells her that they have all made mistakes, and she should put this behind her and move on. She thanks him for caring and is glad that she came to visit him as she ponders this. He assures her that she and Rex will have a future...as he is also sure that he and Belle will too. She tells him that is not up to them...it depends on Rex and Belle.

AT THE HOSPITAL...Belle and Philip arrive for his appointment with a prosthesis specialist so Philip can be fitted. As Philip talks, Belle is having flashbacks of talking with her mom and learning the news of her pregnancy. She tells Philip that they are renewing their vows tomorrow. She starts feeling sick and Philip calls for the nurse. The nurse fetches Lexie, who tells Belle to go to an exam room and she will examine her. Belle apologizes to Philip, not wanting him to worry about her. Later, Philip is with the specialist and asking him questions. He talks about Heather McCartney’s visit and the specialist reinforces what she told him, saying that in time, he will be able to do anything. Belle and Lexie are in the exam room and as Belle changes, Lexie asks her questions about her eating and sleeping habits. Belle tells her that she has been under a lot of stress ever since Philip was captured. Lexie asks her about her period but Belle can’t remember her last one and just attributed it to the stress. She asks (upset) if she could be pregnant. Philip continues to question the specialist about wearing a prosthesis and is skeptical of the answers he gets...until the guy pulls up his pants leg to reveal that he is wearing one...shocking Philip. Philip says he is only worrying about Belle and wants to be there for her in every way and to protect and provide for her. Lexie won’t make a diagnosis on Belle until they have the results back. (This coming from a woman who declared countless people dead...rolling eyes here). Belle tells Lexie that she has just had a lot on her mind lately as Philip rolls in, saying it is all his fault. The war hurt not only him...it hurt them both. Lexie excuses herself as Philip talks about how she has had so much to deal with between him and Shawn. She says she just wants him to hold her as she sits on his lap (ouch...I am SURE that feels good on his leg!) and they hug.

AT PATRICK’S PLACE (which used to be Bonnie’s place...don’t get too settled, she may need it back soon)...Abby is helping Chelsea move her things, but Chelsea is upset that Patrick isn’t there, but Abby explains he is having keys made for them. Downstairs, Billie is moving in boxes as Patrick comes in. She says this may be a mistake, it doesn’t feel right. She says she has been living with family and/or friends ever since she returned to Salem and maybe she needs something of her own...something more permanent. But Patrick talks her into it and hands her a key. She just hopes that Chelsea will be happy there. Upstairs, Chelsea goes on and on about Patrick which makes Abby cringe. Chelsea talks of her plan to get him...they will be sharing a bathroom and she plans on “accidentally” walking in on him. Abby discourages her and Chelsea says she is getting tired of her negative attitude...it’s getting on her nerves. Chelsea goes to the bathroom. Back downstairs, Billie is worried about Chelsea spending too much time with Max but on the other hand, she is afraid if she is too rough on her, she will take off...she IS 18. Abby goes to the bathroom to apologize and finds Chelsea sniffing Patrick’s robe and putting his cologne on herself. Billie and Patrick come upstairs as they come out of the bathroom and he smells his cologne and sniffs Chelsea. She claims she spilled some of it on her. Patrick takes Billie to show her room and then he plans on taking a shower. Chelsea is psyched that he sniffed her, sure he is into her (LOL). They hear the shower start a few minutes later and Chelsea says it is time to make her move (that girl don’t waste time does she? ;-) Abby tells her she is insane and he will freak out, but Chelsea is sure he will FLIP out when he sees her body. She slips into the bathroom and drops her towel, smiling an evil smile...as the previews show...(LOL, what do you want to bet it is BILLIE in the shower?)

Shawn (to Belle): You DO Want to be with me. (Belle): Shawn, that’s not why...(as he grabs her and kisses her through he bars)...

Sami (to Lucas): Somehow Kate got Eugenia to help her destroy me...NOW do you believe me?...

Max (to Patrick): Newsflash Lockhart...whatever I do...or don’t do...with Chelsea...is none of your business...

Frankie (to Jack): Are you okay Jack? (Jack): Nothing wrong that getting rid of Patrick Lockhart wouldn’t fix. (Frankie): I’m working on it...

as the credits roll...

Episode #10101
Tape date - NA
Director – NA

Summary: Lots of Devereaux/Lockhart fireworks, Chelsea is still scheming, as is Kate, Sami is trying to prove her theory to Lucas, who questions Kate. Philip does a favour for Shawn…

At Patrick’s, Chelsea is in the hallway in a towel, arguing with Abby or whether she should invade Patrick’s shower. She drops the towel and opens the shower curtain. Imagine Chelsea’s shock (and Billie’s) when Billie is the one in the shower! Chelsea makes up excuses that she wanted a shower and didn’t know it was on. (Right!) Billie calls her on it. Chelsea says she thought she was sharing the bathroom with Patrick, but Billie tells her that he took the master suite, so she is sharing with Billie, which is a good thing since they are female and he would be uncomfortable seeing their things in the bathroom. Chelsea is certain that Billie is purposely getting in her way because she wants Patrick to herself.

Patrick visits Jen to pick up something of Billie’s. Jen is worried about not seeing him anymore, he is still a friend. She is not sure why Jack is so weird about him. They talk about Chelsea and Billie moving into his mom’s house, which is empty (not for long, Bonnie is going to be needing it!) Finally, mention of Connor, who has gone to camp! (Wanna bet he is the one that comes back 17 or 18 to fit in with Chelsea and Abby? Chelsea is living in his house…) Jack comes down the stairs hoping that he is seeing a mirage. He is sure he told Lockhart to stay out of his house and away from his wife. Jen ends up stepping between them with a plan to celebrate Patrick helping Chelsea and Billie, and possibly a way for the two men to get along.

Frankie and Max see Patrick’s car in the driveway and Frankie wants to know what he is doing there. Max tells him that Patrick has a thing for Jennifer, just like Frankie, which Frankie denies. They were high school sweethearts, she is married now. Max tells Frankie that Lockhart is competition for Mrs. Devereaux. Frankie tells Max that Jennifer is happily married and that nothing will come between them - not Lockhart, not some old crush. Max tries to goad him, but Frankie bests him, which does not make Max happy.

As Frankie and Max walk in the door, Jen announces a pool party at the Lockhart’s, while all three guys give each other the dirtiest looks. Frankie and Jen talk about Jack hiding something from her. Apparently, Frankie is running surveillance trying to find out what it is. Jack and Billie discuss Patrick and his charms. Billie says that Jen has him, and she would like a male around, too. Jack concedes, as long as it is not his family as he doesn’t want Patrick to take his place. Billie jokes that he is talking like he won’t be around to take care of his own family, is there something wrong?

At the Party: Bonnie is in the backyard, talking to a pool guy about when she will pay the bill. She brings up that she is married to Mickey, the best trial lawyer, so unless he wants a lawsuit, he will back off. She is then introduced to Frankie and Max, whom she recognizes from his shirtless physique that she saw in magazines, being such a big racing fan. Chelsea talks Patrick into taking off his shirt. Max tells Abby that he knows about Chelsea’s crush on Patrick – he wants to know why Chelsea is so hot for a guy that will never notice her.

Chelsea, Abby and Max find Patrick in the hall where Frankie left him to make him a phone call, wanting to go to Chelsea’s room. He lets the girls go, but stops to warn off Max. Max tells him that what he does or doesn’t do with Chelsea is none of Patrick’s business.

Bonnie tells Jen about her remarriage tomorrow. She tells her that Maggie will move on with her generous divorce settlement. Bonnie later gloats to Mimi that Mickey and the house will be hers. Mimi reminds her that they shared that house their whole marriage, so Bonnie thinks Maggie can have the house and she will get a new one.

When Jen says she almost feels sorry for Bonnie, Jack tells her that her heart is in the right place, but he doesn’t trust the Lockharts and doesn’t want them around his family. Patrick interrupts, telling him that he is tired of the insults and wants to have it out with Jack right there. When Jen pushes Jack away, he stumbles against the pool and she is instantly concerned. She goes to get him a glass of water and Frankie asks if he is okay. Jack says it is nothing getting rid of Lockhart won’t fix. Frankie tells him he is working on it.

Billie asks Patrick where Chelsea is and where Max is. They go running to Chelsea’s room, where Max is autographing a poster on her wall, then her stomach. They fall on the bed. Abby is disgusted and makes a comment about Chelsea’s room, which Chelsea remarks is too small for three, and Max denies. (yuck!) Billie and Patrick come rushing in, stating that there are no private parties allowed. Chelsea is left alone on the bed, furious at Billie and vowing to get her out of the house and out of her life.

At the hospital: Phillip wants to go to rehab alone. He says a little mystery about the process will be good for them. Mimi finds Belle alone in the hallway. Belle wonders why Mimi was at the jail – isn’t she glad to be out of there? Mimi pushes for Belle to go see Shawn. Belle says she is with the right man. She made her choice and she is going to live with it. Mimi pushes for her to see Shawn – he deserves that much. Belle does not want to. She tells Mimi she might have an ulcer, which Mimi claims is maybe her body’s way of saying she made the wrong choice. She says she didn’t, but Mimi continues to push. Phillip sees Mimi alone in the hallway. He wants to know what is wrong and where Belle is. (gone to run errands.) Phillip doesn’t want Shawn in jail. He was always there when Philip needed him, and he risked his life to save Philip, who might never have made it home without him. As soon as Mimi mentions the judge’s name, Phillip clues in that the judge is his mom’s friend and thinks about talking to her himself. At the jail: Shawn has a visitor: Lucas! Lucas says he doesn’t think Shawn deserves what is happening. Shawn tells Lucas to ask his mom about his bail being revoked because of his missed hearing. Belle comes to see Shawn (As the guard says, he is very popular!) He takes it as her still wanting to be with him, but before she can finish her objection, he pulls her in and kisses her. The guard berates Belle, who then tells Shawn that she is married and wants to stay with her husband. He doesn’t believe her, and tries to convince her otherwise, until Phillip rolls in. She wants to explain, but Philip trusts belle. Shawn is their friend and is in trouble, she should have come to see him. He tells Shawn that he is out on bail, thanks to the judge. Shawn is surprised that Phillip would do that for him. Phillip claims that he pays his debts. He owes Shawn that much.

Sami is outside Eugenia’s watching her. She knocks over a plant on the fire escape, which causes a nervous Eugenia to grab a baseball bat. She picks up the plant and closes and locks the window. Sami is hanging upside down on the bottom of the next fire escape up! She wonders how to get in now.

At Basic Black: Kate gives a check to Karen, (the judge). She appreciates that the judge denied bail to Shawn. She gives her a whole speech about young people needing to obey the law. Karen is worried about appearances, but Kate says the two are not connected – she is showing support for justice gone right. (yeah right, and pigs can fly). She tells the judge that she wants time for Phil to work on his marriage. He has a chance to find happiness with his wife, but only if Shawn is behind bars, preferably for life. Kate writes another check to the judge, confident justice will be served. Philip calls from payphone to talk to Judge Fitzpatrick, who tells Kate what he wants. She ends up siding with Philip, because a) he is a war vet, b) Kate didn’t tell her why Shawn went to Germany (Philip did), and c) Philip threatened to withdraw the Kiriakis money from her campaign. She tells him he should consider being a lawyer. Mimi is proud of Philip and gives him a big hug.

Lucas goes to Basic Black and wants to talk to Kate, who is in a meeting. Sami comes in and tries to convince Lucas that she is right. She sends the receptionist out for lunch and finds Kate’s phone message log. She shows Lucas that there are way too many calls from Eugenia, whom Kate would not normally give the time of day to. Lucas questions his mother, who claims that Eugenia is out of work thanks to Sami forcing her to change the hospital records and she is helping with her job search. When Eugenia calls, Kate decides to take it in her office, but Sami says if she is telling the truth, why not put her on the speakerphone so they can all hear. Judge Fitzpatrick comes out of Kate’s office, which prompts more questions from Lucas about Shawn’s claims that Kate bribed the judge into denying bail. Kate evades that one, too, as Karen is her friend. She was trying to get Shawn out…She pulls Lucas aside to give him an invitation to the opening of Maggie’s new restaurant, and requests that he don’t bring the witch.

Lucas tells Sami that he is still having a hard time believing his mother would hurt him and Will. Sami understands he loves his mother and wants to believe her, but he needs to see what she is capable of.

We get a split screen of Sami and Kate threatening each, then the previews:

Bo wants to know what kind of future Shawn can provide for Belle, as Hope looks on, flash of Belle.

Bonnie claims she didn’t want the groom to see the bride, to which Maggie (on Mickey’s arm) claims that she is the bride and Bonnie screams….

Episode #10102
Tape date - 6/20/05
Director – Herb Stein

Summary: At the grand opening of Maggie’s new restaurant...love is in the air...as well as LOTS of secrets. This is a very good show...but one of those that is hard to tell about...so many little conversations going on. With almost the entire cast on hand...everyone is all gussied up and looking great...couple of obvious MIA’s however...Jack and Jennifer...their invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. ;-)

SAMI...is lurking outside of Eugenia’s apartment when her phone rings and she scurries for cover. It is Lucas calling to see if she is going to the grand opening of Maggie’s new restaurant. She confirms, telling him that she got an invitation. But right now she is busy trying to prove that Kate set her up. Meanwhile, at Basic Black, Lucas and Billie are there with Kate as she asks them if they are coming. They question her and she finally tells them that she and Roman are renewing their vows. Roman walks in and Kate scurries into her office (not wanting him to see her). Lucas and Billie rush him out the door, handing him a tux to wear to the opening. Confused, he leaves as Billie goes to check on Kate. Lucas calls Sami again to see if she is going (as she hides in the hall again). She promises him she will be there. She sees Eugenia leave all dressed up.

AT THE PENTHOUSE...John presents Marlena with a dress to wear. She says she can’t wear white on Maggie’s day...even though it is beautiful. He says that Maggie will just have to understand. Belle arrives to find Shawn in the hall. She has the bouquet and tells him about the wedding, even though she is afraid it will be a disaster. She asks him to leave and put the flowers in her car. She goes in when John has gone upstairs and asks her mom if she has talked to dad yet. Marlena tells her no, she hasn’t had the right time. Belle bites her tongue (figuratively) and tells her she needs to tell him before they leave for the restaurant.

THE GATHERING...Mickey leads a blind-folded Maggie past a sign that says “Chez Rouge” as Bo and Hope follow behind. Inside, he takes off the blindfold and reveals the place to a very excited Maggie as he shows her around. Mimi and Bonnie arrive, she still thinking that Mickey is going to marry HER, making snide remarks about Maggie. She flounces over as Maggie politely tells her that SHE wasn’t invited. Mickey tries to explain as Maggie says that SHE is the bride. Bonnie runs off in tears. They follow her to the kitchen as Mickey tells Bonnie that he and Maggie are renewing their vows. He tells her that their marriage was never legal. He says that Maggie is the one he loves. Bonnie asks if she can at least keep the big house on the hill. Maggie tells her (on no uncertain terms) NO...as we hear Alice’s voice say “Halelujah!”. They all turn to find Alice standing there. She says she is glad that Mickey finally came to his senses. Mickey tells Bonnie he has chosen the one true love of his life...that is what he learned from his father...and Maggie is his true love forever. Bonnie tells them that she won’t hold a grudge if the payoff is enough (6 figures at least). Maggie’s hackles are raised as she tells Mickey they don’t owe Bonny anything. Mickey says she can keep her restaurant as Maggie goes off on her, telling her to just go back to her honky-tonk dive and never darken the doors of Chez Rouge. Bonnie tells her not to worry, this place is just as hoity-toity as she is. Maggie retorts with “You have NO class...and you wouldn’t know it if it bit you in the...you know where!” (That Maggie...always the lady). As they go to leave, Mickey also informs her as of tomorrow, her credit cards and bank accounts are frozen. Bonnie’s mind is racing as she thinks she has 24 hours to spend.

OTHERS ARRIVE...Shawn is now therein his tux as his folks lecture him a bit and tell him to stay away from Philip and Belle and to stay out of trouble. Belle arrives and talks to Brady, who tells her to find Mimi...he has a surprise for them. Belle finds her talking with Rex and drags her off. He leads them to a room where Chloe is. Both gasping and in shock, they rush to her, crying and hugging. Chloe says she will explain later as Brady watches smiling. As they are chattering, Shawn rolls Philip into the room as well. Marlena and John have now arrived as Roman talks Marlena (telling her how beautiful she looks) and asks if she has talked to John yet and she says no...she has tried, but the time hasn’t been right. Sami is now there, and as they watch Mickey and Maggie, tells Lucas that she wishes THEY were the ones getting married. Lucas says not until she can prove he can trust her. Roman tells Marlena that she must tell John the secret soon. Sami hears this and asks “what secret?” Marlena covers and says that Chloe is alive. A disappointed Sami says she was hoping it was something wonderful like that her parents were getting back together. Eugenia has now arrived and comes by and taunts Sami about losing Lucas, saying she got what she deserved. Sami watches Eugenia and Kate together and tells LUcas she is SURE they are up to something. She says they will roast in hell. Kate runs into Eugenia, asking WHY she is there. Eugenia says she got an invitation and Kate says her secretary must have sent it. Sami walks up, saying she is glad she is there. Kate and Eugenia turn tail and go outside. Sami is sure that something is going on...she just needs proof. Hope also sees Kate and her hackles go up, telling Bo she is sure Kate was responsible for Shawn ending up in jail. She wants to see her pay. Bo calms her down, reminding her that Shawn was responsible as well. He tells her that he will never turn his back on him. Billie hears this and asks if he feels the same way about Georgia? (I sure wish Billie would learn a new verse to that song!)

SHAWN & PHILIP...tell Chloe they are glad she is alive and back home, then Shawn leaves them alone. Philip and Chloe talk and have a bit of closure. She talks about how sorry she is for all she put him through. She also thanks him for changing her life and he says after all they have been through, he is sure that both of them are going to be okay...she has Brady and he has Belle and both have bright futures. Outside, Kate urges Eugenia to leave and promises her she will help get her a job, but now is not the time. Marlena tells Roman that she must talk to John right now and goes to find him. But before she can say anything, music starts and John tells her that they need to take their seats. Chloe sings “The Rose” as she and Brady have eyes for only each other. But there are others around the room with roving eyes. There is a shot of Mickey and Maggie (with Bonnie watching them)...Belle and Philip hold hands (as Shawn watches). We see Lucas and Sami (as she has her eye on Kate)...Bo and Hope are hugging (with Billie watching them closely)...We see Roman and Kate (as she watches John and Marlena). Wow, you almost need a scorecard! LOL. As Chloe finishes the song, Father Jansen steps up and asks Mickey and Maggie to step forward and the ceremony begins. We hear part of their vows to each other (so sweet) as Maggie says that true love is never lost...it is only reborn...and Mickey tells her that he will love her forever. There are smiles all around, except for Bonnie who is crying. Mimi asks WHY is she still there torturing herself and Bonnie admits “it WAS beautiful...DAMNIT!” (lol). The service is now over as John turns to Marlena and says “we’re next”. She asks him what does he mean and he says she is going to love this and he goes to Belle and asks her to go to the car and get the bouquet, telling her that Roman and Marlena are going to be so surprised. Bo and Hope are kissing as Billie walks up. Her PDA rings and she pulls it out to find an image of the DiMera crest on it. Marlena tells Roman she must tell John now. Shawn catches up with Belle outside and says he has been waiting for this as he kisses her. Philip sees them from the window. Lucas is looking for Sami who has disappeared from the restaurant. She is at Eugenia’s apartment breaking in, determined to find the evidence she needs to bring Kate down. She is snooping around and finds something and is reading it as Eugenia walks in and sees her. Brady finds Chloe holding the ring he put in the urn. She tells him that she has been wearing it around her neck. He takes it and slips it on her finger and asks her to marry him. She says she can’t and he again asks her to marry him...NOW. Billie’s PDA says “solve the puzzle and get your daughter back”. John tells Father Jansen that they are ready to start. Roman tells Marlena he is going to find Kate and they will tell her and John the news together. Mimi is talking to Marlena, telling her that she needs help. Rex is pressuring her for the truth. Marlena looks over at John and tells her that a relationship cannot survive without the truth...and that is all she can say. As Marlena leaves, determined to tell John the truth, Rex walks up and tells Mimi he knows everything...he knows about the baby and he can’t believe she has been lying to him all along. Roman, John, Kate and Marlena are now all together. Roman says “we need to talk to you”. Marlena says “and after that, things may never be the same”. We get a closing shot of Marlena, Roman, Kate and John’s faces all on screen...as the previews show...

Billie: We have to go somewhere and figure this out. Hope: NO! Bo is not going ANYWHERE with you Billie...

Sami (to Eugenia): I can’t wait to see both of them dump that bitch. Lucas walks up, asking what is going on...

Roman (to Marlena): You know Doc...we can’t go through with this...John and Kate have to know the truth...

Brady (to Chloe): You ARE beautiful...You are beautiful Chloe...

Episode #10103
Tape date - 6/21/05
Director - Herb Stein

All the action takes place at Chez Rouge, except for the altercation between Sami and Eugenia. This was a good show, folks! More what we have been asking for!

Brady and Chloe:
Brady tells Chloe that her ring fits perfectly because it is a sign they are meant to be together. He wants her to marry him, right now. She doesn’t believe that he would want to look at her scars everyday for life, but he would. He once again offers to call Dr. Travis, who would come out of retirement to help her. She starts to agree, then gasps and grabs her throat. While alone, Chloe hums a song and then looks in the mirror. She gets her phone and a card, and calls to make an appointment, surprised at how quick it will come, but determined to be there. When Brady returns, she tells him that she is nervous, but seeing Belle, Mimi, Shawn and Phillip stare at her embarrassed her. She did the same to Phillip – she didn’t want to, but it was too hard. At least she can be fixed. Brady assures her that Phillip will be on his feet in no time. She says that if he can go through that, then she can do it, too. They discuss the risks, with Brady telling her that the only guarantee they can make is that he will love her and support her, no matter the results. She claims that when he looks at her like that, he makes her feel beautiful, which he says she is. Lying in bed, (not sure where came from as I thought they were in a back room at the restaurant? Maybe it has living quarters?) she looks at the mirror and tells him her decision to go through with the surgery, risks and all. She tells him that no matter the results, she still wants to marry him.

Shawn/Belle/Phillip:
Shawn and Belle are making out in front of the restaurant, when Philip comes out, “You guys! I don’t believe this!” He tells them, with tears, that Roman thinks he can find Phil’s dad, which should also make Shawn happy. Belle takes the bouquet in to Marlena, while the guys make their own way in. Shawn goes to the bar and orders Scotch or Bourbon straight up, but Hope tells him drinking is not the answer. She reminds him that his current troubles started when he drunkenly drove his motorcycle into the church. He is so upset that she reminded him, he now wants the entire bottle. He wants to know how he is supposed to watch the woman he loves with another man. She feels for him, but alcohol won’t help. He says that Phillip is a good guy and his friend. He tells her that Phil got the judge to let him out. She advises him that Belle obviously needs to be there for Phil right now. He should stop pushing so hard and focus on himself, getting his life back on track. He doesn’t want a life without her, but his mom tells him it is for the best. Maybe she will come back later; if it is meant to be, it will happen, but nobody knows for sure. (Go Hope! Just what we have been telling him for weeks now!)

Maggie walks up to Lucas at the bar, who assures her that he is not falling off the wagon. She hadn’t seen him at any AA meetings and was worried about him. He reassures her that he is okay, he is worried because he can’t find Sami and is concerned about what she could be up to.

At Eugenia’s place:
Sami is at Eugenia’s, going through papers and drawers. She walks across the room reading a particular letter, when Eugenia walks in and tells her she is busted, she is going to call the cops. Sami tells her to tread carefully or she could be in the next cell. It turns out the paper was from the IRS and Eugenia owed two years of back taxes. Sami tries to blackmail Eugenia with it, but Eugenia tells Sami it is her fault, anyway, for getting her fired. She shows her another letter, stating that she is working 3 part-time jobs and is back on track, so Sami has nothing. She threatens to call Commander Brady and have her arrested for breaking and entering by her own father. Sami admits that she was there before and heard Eugenia bragging to Kate. Eugenia ends up confessing to Sami about helping Kate set her up – which was pure genius in her eyes. Sami tells her that she has to tell Lucas what she told her, and help her bring down Kate. She wants both Lucas and Roman to dump Kate while she watches her suffer. Lucas comes in and wants to know what Sami is doing there. He had a feeling she would be and would be up to no good at it. Sami tells Eugenia to tell him what she just confessed to, but Eugenia denies it and tells him Sami is lying, that she is crazy and needs a shrink. She lies to Lucas and tells him that Sami did it all herself, and tried to bribe her into telling her otherwise, saying that Sami knew she was broke. Sami claims she has less money than Eugenia, how could she bribe her? Lucas believes Eugenia, and he and Sami have a big argument over what she has done. He says he loves her, but it is over, they are through. He is tired of her trying to destroy his mother for her bad choices. Eugenia grins like the Cheshire cat at a crying Sami when Lucas storms out, telling her that this was better than seeing her sorry butt hauled off to jail. Sami is mad, but, as Eugenia reminds her, she has no proof of her accusations.

Rex and Mimi:
Rex pulls Mimi aside, angry that she lied to him about not being able to have children if she is pregnant! He overheard her talking to Marlena and wants the truth. Mimi offers to tell him, but somewhere more private. She tells him that Marlena is the one that is pregnant, but he has to keep it to himself, because not even John knows yet. He is relieved and apologizes to Mimi for getting it wrong. He still demands to know what Jan was holding over her head. Mimi claims that Jan was going to lie to Rex and make him believe that Mimi’s inability to bear children was her own fault, which Mimi claims it was because she didn’t go to the doctor with her infection right away. She didn’t want him to blame her. He remembers the doll and says since that long ago? Mimi says that when Shawn went back to Belle, Jan snapped and wanted to break them up to make everyone as miserable as she was. But she can’t hurt anyone now.

Billie, Bo and Hope:
Bo and Hope can’t wait for the party to be over to enjoy their maiden voyage on the Fancy Face III. Billie walks up, with the news that she has another message about Georgia on her PDA, from Tony DiMera. Hope lets Bo take her outside for details. Billie shows him her PDA with a very cryptic message and some numbers…Neither know what the numbers are. Bo is suspicious that it could be another DiMera game. Billie wants to go somewhere to figure it out, but Hope tells them that Bo is not going anywhere with her. She agrees with Bo that it could be trap, or it might not be. She tells Billie not to give up, and she offers to help. She can’t make sense of it, either, but suggests they let an ISA cryptologist take a crack at it. She tells Bo that she will support his search for his daughter, as long as he doesn’t forget about her or the boys in the process. Both are grateful for her support and her help. Billie sees sense in what Hope said about letting the ISA help. She doesn’t want to fall into another pit, and neither do Bo or Hope (who comes back from talking to Shawn just as Billie mentions it). Hope suggests she and Bo go back to the boat if they are still sailing tonight, unless he wants to stay in town? Billie tries to talk him into staying, but he puts his arm around Hope and tells Billie that he promised Hope some time away. He will have his cell phone if she needs him. Hope says that they both will, and they will come back immediately if they are needed.

The Tangled Four:
Marlena starts to talk to John, but Brady interrupts and pulls him away to tell him that Chloe strained her voice singing for Mickey and Maggie and can’t sing for John’s vows. John is unhappy, and they say that it was supposed to be special for Marlena – a day she would never forget. Roman tries to tell Kate, but she is pulled away by Lucas. He is happy for her, but he has to leave to go find Sami. He is worried about what she could be up to. Kate doesn’t want him back with that creature, but he tells her that he has his eyes wide open about Sami, and he needs to care of her. Roman overhears and tells Kate that if Lucas wants to look after Sami, she has to let him. What kind of marriage will they have if Kate hates his daughter? Kate claims not to hate her, just not to want her with Lucas. What kind of marriage would they have if she lied about it? They have children by other people, they can’t make it an issue. Roman says they have to talk, making Kate nervous.

Roman tells Marlena they have to tell John and Kate as soon as they can, but Marlena is nervous and says that maybe a party isn’t the best place. Couldn’t they wait a bit? Roman doesn’t want to (was quick to put it off before he found out about the baby, though!) They drift back to their partners, but still don’t get to tell them. John takes Kate over to a table and makes the announcement that happy though they are for Mickey and Maggie, they have agreed to share their special day with not one, but two other couples. They propose to their respective spouses, who aren’t too happy with the turn of events. When they don’t answer, John takes it as a yes and orders the ceremony to start. Back to back, they agree that John and Kate need to know before the ceremony. Belle gives Marlena the flowers. Marlena is upset that Belle knew, but she says John swore her to secrecy. Belle tells her that she can’t put it off any longer; she has to tell John before the ceremony starts. Roman tells her the same. Marlena is still stalling. She doesn’t want to ruin what they went to so much trouble for. They will be embarrassed if told now! But Roman doesn’t want to commit to them with what they know now. He wants to tell them, regardless. John comes from talking to the officiant, wondering if they are ready. Marlena tells him that they need to talk, but he tells her it will have to wait, as Father can’t stay much longer. He will not give her the chance. As the ceremony begins, he asks if she is okay. She has flashes of everyone telling her that she has to tell before the ceremony, but tells him she is fine. The priest talks about how at a wedding, everything is new and people rejoice that it will last, but sometimes it becomes damaged and couples drift (as we see Belle and Phillip). We return to the ceremony, with snippets of Mimi and Rex discussing marriage and starting a family, and Belle thinking to herself about how she wished her mother had told her father before the ceremony started. The priest lets Kate do her own vows first, to which Roman replies by telling her that they will have good times and bad times, but together they can get through all the rough spots. The priest turns to Marlena next, who looks at John with a sad smile, and promptly passes out in his arms. Roman tells John to be careful, she’s pregnant. John has a very shocked expression, as the previews roll:

Billie rants at Bo for deserting her to go off with Hope while there is a new lead on their daughter…

Eugenia goads Sami some more.

Belle is worried about secrets.

Marlena tells John she has to tell him something about the baby…

Episode #10104
Tape date – 6/22/05
Director – Albert Alarr

The party goers all return home, and we twiddle our thumbs as they have those same conversations over and over, except for Hope, who tells Billie EXACTLY how it was!

SAMI is going thru her mail, bill after bill, and spots a letter from Will. She eagerly tears it open, & is reading it when Lucas knocks on the door. He is returning her shampoo bottles from his shower, and angrily tells her if she needs to use someone else’s shower again, to go to the Y. They argue again about her “sleeping” with Brandon the night before their wedding. She again protests, saying Kate & Eugenia set her up. Lucas again refuses to believe her. Lucas dredges up the past, talking of when he was in love with Carrie, and her with Austin, and how they were friends then, but he slept with her, and now is tied to Sami for the rest of his life. Sami retorts that she has never regretted it, because now there is Will, the best thing that has ever happened to her. She cries, sorry for always hurting those she loves, and doesn’t know why. Lucas holds her, and they begin to kiss, but he backs off, and they go at it again. He leaves, & Sami swears to find the proof she needs that Kate & Eugenia set her up.

BO & HOPE are outside the Chez Rouge, talking of Marlena fainting inside, and what a way for John to find out about her pregnancy. They chatter, and decide to leave for the boat, but of course, along comes Billie, asking Bo if he is now deserting her and their daughter. Bo tells her in no uncertain terms his first priority is his wife and boys, and that he is not going off on wild goose chases. When the ISA decodes the PDA message, they will deal with that then. Billie argues with them, trying to plead her case for wanting to find her daughter. She says she feels this time the clue is genuine. Hope tells her she has said those very same words every single time she got a so-called “clue”. Bo says he doesn’t want to be running into empty house or falling into pits. As Billie begins to protest, saying Hope is still jealous because she and Bo made love, Hope steps up, saying that WASN”T making love, Billie took advantage and RAPED her husband. She goes on how Billie knew Bo was hallucinating from the gas fumes, and thought it was Hope, that Billie realized that, and that it was rape, pure and simple. Bo tells Billie that it was wrong, very wrong of her, & it won’t happen again. He says he has the clue downloaded to his PDA, and if the ISA comes up with anything, he & Hope will come back in from the sea. He mentions that they are not only looking for Georgia (and do we REALLY know if she is alive?) but also his parents. Billie is rather surprised, but Hope says that yes, they are looking for them, too. Bo gets an idea, saying they have been going about it all wrong, they key to finding everyone is to find Tony.

OUTSIDE CHEZ ROUGE another group emerges, with Philip telling Mimi, Rex & Shawn how he wants to have a family with Belle. Shawn thinks it is a bit soon, but Philip says no, and Belle feels the same way. They all go back to the loft. Shawn tries to talk Mimi into telling Rex about the abortion, but she says no. They all have little conversations between themselves about having kids, Marlena’s pregnancy, etc. Mimi tells Belle she knows that Roman is the father of Marlena’s baby. Belle calls her mother, urging her to tell Dad the truth. Shawn & Belle talk a bit about Mimi, Belle grabs her stomach, saying her ulcer or whatever it is must be acting up, and she goes for some milk in the frig.

INSIDE CHEZ John is fussing over Marlena, who keeps insisting she is fine. John is happy, and just can’t believe he is going to be a daddy again. Belle comes up, telling her mother she should have told John the truth, but Marlena protests too many people around, not good time. The tangled quartet all go home to the penthouse, where John continues to fuss over his wife. Roman explains to John how he knew Marlena was pregnant, how he came over one day, and she wasn’t feeling well, & talked of having herbal tea and crackers. He remembered that is what she did when pregnant with Eric & Sami, and again when she was pregnant with Belle. He throws in the dig, that John, of course, would not have known about that, because Marlena was HIS wife when she was preggers with Belle. Ouch. Belle calls about then, urging her mother to tell Dad the truth. John wonders WHY Roman brought up something that happened so many years ago, now. Marlena sits John down, saying she has something to tell him. Kate thinks she & Roman should leave, but Marlena says no, to stay. She tells John she has something to tell him about the baby. And you guessed it folks, we have to wait to see/hear what happens next…….as now the previews show…..

On the boat, Bo holds gift bottle of wine, reading something that says….Bon Voyage and Happy Hunting. Hope says there is no name, Bo says we don’t need one. Hope says “DiMera”, as Jack & Jen look on.

Shawn tells Belle they are still soul mates, as she suddenly clutches her stomach saying she thinks she is going to be sick. (they are outside somewhere, it is dark)

Marlena is saying…….John, the baby is………..

And the credits roll.

She is full of questions, and telling him that even though she survived the evening at Chez Rouge, she isn’t ready and asks him to be patient with her. She goes and changes and puts on a red dress and cape. In the bedroom, she finds a jewelry box and in it there is a diamond hair clasp. Thinking it must has been his mothers, she puts it in her hair. When she looks in the mirror, the scars are miraculously gone. She rushes to show Brady, who tells her that it is her inner beauty shining through...they way it has been for him all along. Later they are having dinner as she talks about how she feels like Cinderella. He asks her to stand in the doorway as they look out and see it snowing. She says it is a miracle and he says no, it is a snow machine he rented from Green Mountain Lodge and they head to the bedroom. Later, they are in bed as Chloe wakes up and rolls over, the hair clasp falls from her hair. She looks in the mirror and sees her scars again, upsetting her. She says it was all just a dream. Brady says no, for in his eyes, she will always be beautiful.

ON THE DOCKS...Bo and Hope are loading up the boat to take off as Jack and Jennifer drop in. Bo opens champagne as Jack talks about their search for Tony and how difficult it could be. They remind Bo of how he was almost killed several times, but Bo says he has reinforcements this time and opens a case loaded with guns and ammo, upsetting Jen. But Bo says this is the only way. Bo asks her what she would do...if she were faced with Tony taking Jack again. She says that no one will ever take Jack from her again as she hugs him. Jack promises her that Tony will not take him away from her again. Bo asks Jack to help him up on deck and they leave. While they are gone, Jen and Hope talk and Hope asks her if anything should happen to them would she and Jack raise Zack. Up on deck, Bo apologizes to Jack for upsetting Jen and talks about how they must find Tony. Jack wants to help, but Bo says he appreciates the offer, but he couldn’t do that to Jen. Jack has an attack and when asked about it, he blames it on his back. The guys go back down as Jack talks about how jealous he is of them just sailing off. They hear a noise outside and Bo goes up to find a goon with a box, looking for him. The rest of them come up as Bo opens the box to find a bottle of wine with a note that says “Bon voyage...and happy hunting” with no name attached. But Hope says they know who it is from...DiMera. Jack jokes and says he wouldn’t drink that for any amount in the world as Bo tosses it in the trash. As they head back to the boat, it explodes. Hope says if they didn’t know who it was from before...know they have their proof.

UP ON THE ROOF...Belle has flashbacks of kissing Shawn. She decides to call her mom and learns that she hasn’t told her dad yet. Marlena cries, afraid she will hurt John. But she promises to tell him soon. As Belle is talking, Shawn walks up behind her and hears. He tells her he heard and she makes him promise not to say anything. She is worried about her mom and dad as he tries to be reassuring and supportive. But she is sure that they will break up over this. He pulls her close and they kiss, but she pulls away, saying she can’t do this...she is Philip’s wife. (Philip, btw, is down stairs asleep). Shawn tells her that she is right. He has been doing a lot of thinking and thinks that she should stay with Philip...he needs her now. He tells her that after all, she doesn’t have to be Mrs. Philip Kiriakis forever. Eventually Philip will heal emotionally and physically and will not depend on her so much. Belle isn’t so sure he will ever be ready for that. She talks about honoring her vows. Shawn points out that they love each other and she agrees, but she also loves Philip, even if it is in a different way. Shawn says he will wait for her for as long as it takes...he loves only her and will never love another. They kiss and she says she can’t ask him to wait for her. He shows her the S & B carved in the door and says they will always belong together...she is worth waiting for and he would wait forever. He asks her to be faithful to him and she says she don’t know if she can do that. Suddenly, she grabs her stomach, telling him she is going to be sick and rushes off.

AT THE PENTHOUSE...Marlena starts to explain to everyone, but the phone rings (Belle calling). After she gets off the phone, she goes back in from the balcony and tells John they need to talk, could they go upstairs to be alone? Kate offers to leave, but Roman refuses to go. Upstairs, Marlena changes into her pj’s and tells John that they must talk now. Downstairs, Kate tries to convince Roman to leave, but he keeps coming up with excuses, baffling her. She asks him WHAT is going on? Is there a problem with Marlena’s baby? John asks Marlena what’s wrong. With tears streaming down her face, and the music swelling, Marlena finally blurts out that the baby is Roman’s not his. John can’t believe what he just heard and asks for an explanation. She cries as she explains as John becomes furious, saying that Roman took advantage of her. Back downstairs, Roman has now told a shocked Kate the truth and tries to explain, telling her that they were chained together day and night and even saw footage of her and John together. John asks Marlena if Roman knows the truth and she says yes. John erupts, calling Roman a “smug son of a bitch” and goes tearing out the door. He charges downstairs and punches Roman in the face. John and Roman are arguing (with Kate trying to break them up) when Marlena appears at the top of the stairs, telling them to stop. They all turn as she becomes woozy and comes tumbling down the stairs, head over heels. John rushes to her, yelling for them to call 911...as the previews show...

Max (to Billie) I wouldn’t mind being with an older, more experienced woman...

John (to Marlena, at the hospital): Marlena...Lexie, what’s going on? (Lexie): John, I need you to step back, okay?...

Kate (to Sami): If that’s your idea of an apology...you need to work on it. (Sami): I said, I’m sorry...now go to hell...

Patrick (to Jack): Jennifer’s all mine now...and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it...

Frankie (to Jen): If something’s worth holding on to...I never let it go...

Episode #10108
Tape date – 6/27/05
Director – Roger Inman

Summary: Marlena's rushed into ER as Kate and Roman (and their kids) all gather; Max and Chelsea heat up as Patrick and Billie cool down the situation; Jen finds Frankie going through a memory box.

LOCKHART POOL…..Chelsea invited Max over to “cool off” in Bonnie’s pool, but Billie and Patrick arrive to find things heated up instead. Billie stops Patrick from taking a physical stance with Max by whispering her own idea in his ear. Patrick talks to Chelsea on one side as Billie seductively steps in (wearing her black 2 piece suit) next to young Max. She offers to leave and take a cold shower (using the Billie come-on charm) to cool off, but he asks her to stay. He likes youngs girls he says, but would be happy to be with an experienced, older woman like herself too (GMAB). She practically laughs out loud as he tells her that he thinks he can teach her a few things. She doesn’t think that’s a great idea, but he asks her to the dance at Alice’s that night, saying if she didn’t go with him, he’d take Chelsea. Of course she agrees. Chelsea tells Patrick how she promised Max anything if he helped her win a contest to get a car. She uses the same ploy as Max did and gets Patrick to take her to the dance instead.

. DEVEREAUX’S…..Jack and Jen talk about what happened with the exploding bottle. He admits offering to help Bo and Hope find Tony, but Bo turned him down. At first she’s relieved, but says no one ever tells Jack what to do, and demands to know what’s going on. He denies anything other than he’s still recovering from what Dimera put him through as he has another attack. He tells Jen he’s just got a migraine coming on and she rushes for some aspirin as he pulls out his prescription and prays that God not take him now, like this. He takes Jen’s aspirin and refuses medical help, asking to just rest a while. She covers him and looks out, seeing someone in the garage. < Frankie searches through some old boxes in the garage and finds a picture of Jennifer. Later we’re treated to some more REAL flashbacks of Jen and Frankie as she tells him she loves him. Jen interrupts his dream as she starts to plunk him with the fireplace tool, and then apologizes when she realizes it’s him. He assures her he blocked the blow and she tells him she’s jittery and about the explosion earlier. She won’t let Dimera take her husband away AGAIN and breaks down a little. Frankie takes her in his arms to comfort her. She asks him what he was looking for and sees the picture of them in a frame, smiling, asking if this was it? He goes through his box and pulls out different things. She admits having some letters and collectibles tucked away as well. He pulls out a mood ring that they got together, the night of a Springsteen concert they attended (which until then was the best night of her life she says as does he) and she says she lost hers, so he offers to give her his. He asks what black means, and she’s sure it can’t be good. He says he saved it for the girl he was going to marry and when he boxed those things up, thought it would have been her. He tells her that was a long time ago though and she asks what else he’s got stored away. She looks and surprised. He admits once he finds something worth holding on to, he never lets go…and she looks into his eyes after hearing that (oh man, if we have to lose Jack..THIS is the guy for Jen!). It’s a tape they made of their favorite songs and she puts it into the tape player. We hear a song playing (Stand by Me?) (I think it’s the same song that played in Harrison Ford’s movie when he and the Amish girl danced in the barn to his car radio).

After Jennifer leaves Jack to rest earlier, he falls asleep on the couch and dreams that he’s dead and people in black are gathering at their house. He sees Chelsea telling Billie that Abby won’t come downstairs as she’s too upset. He wanders to the couch where Sami cries to Roman that Jack was one of the few people in Salem who stood by her, but she’s glad he’s gone so he doesn’t have to see Patrick digging his hooks into Jennifer. Jack looks up and sees Patrick comforting Jennifer and rushes over. He demands Patrick take his hands off Jennifer, but Patrick turns and asks what he’s going to do about it, he’s dead. Patrick walks Jennifer away as Jack sees Roman tell Sami they should leave and Jack asks them not to, but watches as they leave. He sees Celeste have a vibration and Lexie asks if it’s about Jack. He takes Celeste’s hand and asks her to tell Jennifer that Lockhart is no good. She tells Lexie it’s nothing, although she looked into Jack’s eyes while saying it. The only one who can hear and see Jack is Patrick and he tells Jack there’s nothing he can do about it. Jen will end up with someone and it won’t be him (Jack). Jack wakes up and rushes around looking for Jennifer. Jack looks into the garage and sees them listening to the song as Jen looks at the ring.

SALEM U HOSPITAL….Marlena is brought into ER and Lexie (of course) is there. John tells her about the pregnancy and everyone else rushes in. Roman asks John for an update and John warns Kate to pull Roman away. We see Lexie attending Marlena as we hear her BP is high and she has a seizure. Sami arrives saying Belle called her about the fall and accuses Kate of being responsible for the fall, but Roman tells her it’s his fault. Roman flat out admits getting Marlena pregnant and Sami figures Kate caused the accident to make Marlena miscarry. Kate denies it, saying she was happy for Marlena and Roman curbs his daughter in mid verbal attack and tells her what really happened. Like a chastised child, she storms off as Roman apologizes for not telling Kate earlier about this. She is upset herself and wants some time alone and walks away. Sami apologizes to Roman for what she said and he asks her to tell Kate so. She hugs him and agrees. She goes over and does so, but Kate calls her on it, knowing she only did it because Roman asked her to. Sami admits that’s true, but did it as she’d do anything for her father, then tells Kate to go to Hell and walks away.

Philip and Shawn talk as he asks what happened on the roof. He asks if Belle was upset about the baby and Shawn doesn’t know if that’s what made her sick. Philip wheels over to Belle to see how she is. She tells him she’s worried about her mom and her ulcer has bothered her some, but he mentions talking with Shawn about what happened on the roof and asks if she’d like to tell him about it. He softly urges him to tell her why she’s upset and Belle remembers Shawn telling her he loves her enough to let her be with Philip until he doesn’t need her anymore and can come to him. Belle tells Philip about John finding out that Marlena’s was Roman’s instead. Her stomach is really hurting and she excuses herself and sits on a bench in pain.

John and Belle talk. He tells her the baby is Roman’s and she surprises him by knowing that. She fills him in that Marlena was scared to tell John, worried about his reaction, but all that matters is that Mom and that baby are okay. Putting things in perspective, John hugs his daughter and goes in to see Marlena. He takes her hand and she cries out how sorry she is to him. He tells her they’ll work all that out later, she just needs to rest and get better as an alarm goes off. Lexie rushes in and tells John to leave. Later she tells him Marlena’s bp is elevated, but she’s stable and the baby’s heart rate is normal. John takes Marlena’s hand and tells her they’ll get through this together as Roman stands behind him silently watching. Kate and Roman ask John how Marlena is and Sami bursts in and erupts at John and Kate. Of course Marlena comes to and tells them to stop as Lexie and others rush in and kick everyone out. Outside the curtain John tells Sami that her mother WAS stable and he’ll hold HER responsible for anything that happens now after her outburst….as the previews roll….

Max asks Jack where he’ll see himself in the next five years…
Jack’s reply: “That’s easy, Heaven.”
Jennifer’s startled and asks “What?”

Sami’s in Roman’s arms and asks Lexie: “is my mother going to die?”
Lexie looks morose and doesn’t answer…

Belle passes out in Shawn’s arms as Philip rolls up asking what’s wrong..

Rex tells Mimi he’s had a million questions for her but she was never going to tell him the truth, was she? Mimi looks guilty to that question…

As the credits roll..

Episode #10107
Tape date – 6/25/05
Director – Phil Sogard

Summary: Jack, Jennifer and Frankie spend a strange evening at home...Rex finally learns the truth about Mimi...family and friends gather around Marlena, whose condition takes another turn.

AT THE DEVERAUX HOUSE...Jack watches Frankie and Jen as they listen to “Stand by Me” and smiles. He joins them, saying he hopes that they will always be close. Frankie doesn’t want Jack to get the wrong idea and think that he is being out of line, but Jack is cool with it and tells Frankie he is welcome to stay with them as long as he wants. Jack suggests they move the party in the house and dances off. After he is gone, Jen and Frankie think he is acting very strange. Outside, Jack says that the more he thinks about it, Frankie would be perfect for Jen. He has a fantasy scene of their future after he is gone. In the living room, Frankie and Jen are looking through their high school yearbook as Jack comes in with his famous chips and jalepeno dip and suggests they play truth or dare. Jack puts Frankie on the spot and asks him about this idea of the perfect woman. Frankie describes her and Jack says he just described Jen. Trying to change the subject, Frankie chows down on the chips and dip and then runs for water (LOL). Frankie tells him it’s his turn now and asks Jack where he sees himself in 5 years. Jack says that’s easy...Heaven. Jen asks WHAT? and he says that being with her is like being in Heaven. Jen says it’s time for another game...one she can win and she goes upstairs. Later, we see them playing Scrabble as she and Jack goes on about how each other cheats. Jack has another future fantasy of Frankie and Jen together and how much in love they are. We then see Jack in the background (as an angel, wings and all) watching over them and smiling. They finish their game as Jen and Frankie end up in a tie. Jack wants to celebrate and rushes upstairs as both Jen and Frankie are bewildered. He comes back down dressed in a cowboy outfit and tosses clothes at them. He says they should paint the cow-town red. He tells them that there is a dance contest at Alices and he wants to go. (He tells them that Trick Pony is going to be there performing...I can’t wait for that one!!) Again, Frankie and Jen are bewildered, wondering what is wrong with him.

AT THE HOSPITAL...Rex and Mimi are in the cafeteria talking about Marlena and the baby (but Mimi is having flashbacks of having the abortion). Rex asks her what is bothering her. He is still asking questions about why she and Jan were fighting and asks what was Jan holding over her.

Upstairs, everyone waits for news on Marlena as both Belle and Sami are nervous wrecks and Kate tells Sami to give it a rest. Lexie comes out and tells them that they couldn’t save the baby. John asks about Marlena and, after one of her morose pauses, Lexie tells them that her condition is critical and they are running more tests. Sami cries on Roman’s shoulder as Kate watches, disgusted, then leaves to go to the cafeteria. Roman urges Philip to go with Kate. Mimi sees Phil rolling in to the cafeteria and and he tells them the news about Marlena losing the baby.

Belle clings to John and then gets sick on her stomach as she goes to call Brady. Lexie tells John that he can go in and see Marlena. Sami is furious over this and says that John should be no where around her, blaming him, as Roman shuts her up and tells her to go to the chapel to say a prayer. Of course she goes to the cafeteria....where Kate is. John talks to Marlena, urging her to come back to them as she opens her eyes and asks about the baby. John tells her that she miscarried as she falls to pieces. Down in the cafeteria, Philip and Kate talk as he tells her that Roman is hurting and needs her now. She whines about them keeping it a secret and says that it is probably better that she did lose the baby. Sami walks up, hearing this and says she is going to tell her dad what Kate just said, calling her an evil bitch, vowing to bring her down. Roman walks in, chastising her. Sami tries to force Kate to repeat what she said. She refuses, so Sami tells him, saying that Kate is pure evil and he should divorce her. Roman asks Sami to leave and then he asks her what she said about the baby. But before she can answer, Rex rushes in and tells them about Marlena and everyone rushes back upstairs.

John and Belle are now with her as she begins to stare straight ahead, not saying a word. They call Lexie, but she doesn’t respond to her either and she tells them to step outside. Once back in the lobby, they hear Lexie call “code blue...we’re losing her”. Belle grabs her stomach yet again as Shawn holds her. Of course Philip comes rolling up to see this. Later, Lexie also has Belle in an exam room and tells her they are waiting on test results. She tells them that Marlena went into cardiac arrest, but is doing better now, but still unconscious. Lexie has called in 2 specialists (thank GOD, lol). Philip worries about Belle, but Lexie assures him she will be okay. Both Shawn and Philip apologize to her for making things more stressful for her. Belle asks for Mimi and they talk as Belle urges her to finally be honest and tell Rex the truth...the whole truth. Mimi is still hesitating, but as Belle talks, Rex is standing nearby and hears. Mimi turns and sees him but he walks away in shock. Belle is furious with Belle and says she hates her as she rushes off. Mimi follows Rex and wants to explain but he is furious with her for not telling him the truth. Mimi (in tears) tells Rex as he shakes his head in disbelief. He asks her point blank if she had an abortion. Shawn visits Belle as she tells him that she has made a decision, she is going to stay with Philip until he is stronger and then she plans to tell him that she loves Shawn and then they can finally be together...as we see 2 nurses talking about Belle’s condition and they say she is pregnant.

Sami, Roman, Belle and Kate join John at Marlena’s side. Sami talks to her begging her to wake up as Marlena opens her eyes. Sami asks her mom what’s wrong, why isn’t she talking to them? Marlena looks around the room at them all bewildered and then asks “what are you all doing here?...WHO are you?”...as the previews show...

Sami (to Kate): You did everything you could to come between them...just like you set me up to ruin my chance at happiness. (Lucas): Sami stop...that’s enough...

Belle (to Marlena): Mom, it’s me...Belle...your daughter (Marlena): I’m sorry...I don’t seem to know you...

Billie (to Jack): Is there really something wrong with you? (Jack): I’m dying and I don’t have much time left...

Rex (to Mimi): It’s over Mimi...I am leaving Salem. (Mimi): Noooooo!...

Episode #10108
Tape date – 7/6/05
Director – Albert Alarr

Summary: Trick Pony sings for the Two Step contest at Alice’s, Rex tells Mimi goodbye and Marlena’s amnesia stuns her family and friends.

AT ALICE’S…tiz the place to be. We see Chelsea dancing with Patrick and Billie (pushing Max’s paws off her) as they dance. Maggie arrives and unrolls the credit card statement (detailed print out) to Bonnie, telling her she’s busted. Bonnie bursts into tears of pain (yeah, right) after Maggie exclaims she shopped the internet, stores and a car dealership.
