Summary: Tony's cards are dealt as his goal to break up Hope and Bo revealed to Bart (who refers to them as "Bope"); Philip leaves before Belle can tell him the truth; Mimi tells Rex the truth..but does he hear her?

THE PENTHOUSE
Belle stresses how she can tell her husband that she loves Shawn as he takes a call from the base. He tells her his deployment flight has been moved up and he has to leave RIGHT NOW. He asks his sweetie to hold onto some documents for him (his will) and wants to make sure she's taken care of, just in case. (her daddy is John Black, she won't go hungry) He promises to come back, but wanted to make sure she'd be okay. She really wants to talk to him and when he tells her he can't miss his flight, offers to drive him to the airport. He doesn't want her driving upset and wants to remember her at the door, where he'll come home to her. He tells her he loves her and she asks him to wait, she has something upstairs for him. He agrees and she walks to the stairs fearing he could get killed and it would be all her fault if she told him she loved Shawn before he left (obviously she's not worried he'll miss his flight as she dawdles). Upstairs she gets a wrapped present for Philip, debating what to do. She decides she has to tell him the truth and goes downstairs to find him gone. He left a note apologizing that he couldn't say goodbye and how much he loves her. Signing it, your husband, Philip. She drops the note and cries...oh my God, I'm too late, he's gone.

Across the hall, Rex thinks Mimi's pregnant when Jan gives him the baby doll and hugs Mimi saying she's made him the happiest man on earth. She tells him she's not pregnant and he asks what this is all about. Jan encourages Mimi to tell Rex the truth. Rex and Mimi go to the bedroom to talk privately.

Rex is angry she went behind his back interfering by helping Shawn and Belle and lied to him. Mimi finally tells him she has something she should have told him and it's way past time she told him. At the mention of time he realizes he'll be late for his shift at Alice's if he doesn't shower and go. She reminds him the shower is broken and she called the super 2x about it already and asks if he can miss work one night. Concerned about saving for their wedding and family, he tells her no. He asks if they can put this important conversation on hold and asks if he can trust her tonight as Philip and Belle need to spend their last moments alone. Rex says he was a big supporter of Shawn and Belle, but that's over and she's married to Philip now. Later we find see Rex's legs in the bath tub. Mimi stands outside the open door (betcha he's asleep) as she cries and tells him about the abortion. He doesn't speak at all (duh) as she tells all. She continues talking and tells him she couldn't bear if he didn't want to see her again. She'll just leave and never come back if that's the case. He doesn't say anything and instead of looking to see if he's even awake, she leaves, saying she'll always love him.

Shawn and Jan start fighting. (It's the middle of winter and freezing temps...why is Jan is that little flimsy, sleeveless top?) She reminds him she's engaged to him and starts holding and talking to the baby like it's real which freaks Shawn out. She talks of their baby she lost and he says it wasn't HIS baby, knows she needs help (ya think?). He asks what else she's lied about and talks about his summer of lost memories. He tells her that he loves Belle and she cries that can't be true, she loves him and he's all she has. Looking at him she tells him not to make them (her and baby) hate him. He tells her it's over, he loves Belle and leaves. Jan doesn't want to have to kill Shawn, but...if she can't have him, she'll make sure no one else can either.

Shawn rushes to Belle and she breaks down saying she didn't have a chance to tell Philip. Shawn decides to try and catch Philip at the airport and he has to know the truth. At the end of the show, Belle rushes after Shawn telling him no.

AT THE CASTLE
Tony's deftly shuffles cards and asks Bart to choose a card, any card. Bart selects one and it's Hope's face in the Queen of Hearts. Bart asks what's going to happen to her and Tony smugly responds that all of their futures lie in their hands. Bart is upset Hope and Patrick showed up, but Tony expected it. Bart asks what's next and comments he'd like to hold onto Hope, but puts her back in the deck. A couple of Jack's with Jack's face on them are next and although Tony wishes he knew where Jack was, is confident he holds everyone's destiny in his hands. We return to them playing poker as Bart asks what's at stake. Tony asks him what he wants as Bart ponders that while verbally licking Tony's boots. He comments about how Marlena would have been Stefano's Queen of Hearts and mentions that in Tony's deck that Billie is the Queen of Spades, Bo the King of Hearts. Tony gives Bart a drink and a cigar as Tony asks Bart what he thinks is going on. He can't believe that Tony is even thinking of breaking up “BOPE” as they're like teflon, you can't take them apart. Others have tried and lost. He pushes all of the chips to the middle of the table and bets the house on Bo and Hope. Tony disagrees and says he's not his father and WILL succeed. He vows to break up Bo and Hope permanently. Tony pulls a wild card out of his sleeve saying it hasn't come into play yet. He shows it to Bart and it's Georgia Brady. Bart asks if she's still alive and Tony says she is and the key to this whole thing.

Patrick drives with a disappointed Billie in the front seat. Bo leans forward from the back seat promising to help her find their daughter as Hope watches. Hope suggests they go home to Salem in one piece and reminds them Dimera is there and if she and Patrick hadn't rescued them, Georgia would have been an orphan by now. Billie insists her gut and motherly instinct tell her Georgia is there and tells Bo to keep his wife out of this if she can't be supportive and it's none of her business anyway. Hope says this is her stepdaughter and husband's flesh they're talking about about and it IS her business. Bo breaks it up and tells Billie he's sorry she's disappointed, but not to take it out on his wife. Hope tells Billie she better wise up if she wants to be alive when they do find her.

Back at the inn Billie suggests she and Bo walk in together being they checked in together. She stands making faces in the background as Hope tells Bo that they should drop the act. Dimera knows they're there and watching them. Billie's just laying the groundwork to get the next best thing to her daughter, him. Bo is dubious about that and Hope tells him maybe he does have a concussion (you go girl!) Patrick suggests they go inside for a drink as it's been a long day for everyone. Billie tells Patrick she needs coffee and they go to the bar as Bo and Hope sit alone at the table. Bo tells her it's not about Billie, it's about him finding his daughter. They both hate fighting with each other. She reminds Bo how Billie almost got her and Zack killed when she helped Larry Welch the last time she came into their lives. She mentions how they felt when JT was pulled out of their life and how Georgia's parents will feel. He tells her she just doesn't want Georgia in their lives and she's his daughter.

Billie whines to Patrick about her daughter and maybe she's lost to them forever. He rationalizes that Georgia might be living a wonderful life right now and that makes her sad too. She wants her to be happy AND with her. Staring at Bo she figures it just might not be in the cards and hasn't been so this far.

Bo fires back to Hope how she felt that Abe and Lexie were raising their son. She tells him their sons need him, especially Shawn right now. Shawn left a voice mail for him and she's been unable to reach him. If anything happens to Shawn because she had to come looking for him, she'll never forgive herself and she'll never forgive him (Bo) either, ever. Patrick comforts Billie and Bo doesn't like it. Hope calls him on it and he says he doesn't trust Patrick, that's all. He shouldn't have come. When Hope mentions Patrick might have their room key, Bo isn't happy about that either. He sees a picture taken of when Patrick kissed Hope in the lobby and gets even more upset.

PREVIEWS FOR THE NEXT DOOL...

Sami to Lucas: You don't want to give up your apartment because you're afraid that we're actually not going to get married.

Belle's at the airport and looks around saying she has to be around to explain things. If Shawn tells Philip that they're still in love, Philip will kill him. (We see Philip with a different hair style and in camouflage gear as she says this)

Walking into Bo's room, Hope tells Patrick it's a new relationship tactic..and finds Bo comforting Billie...

Kate tells Eugenia she has to do something definitive that will stop Sami from walking down the aisle with Lucas..as we see her holding a gun in her hand...

Taking a page from the movie “Groundhog Day”, our Salemites continue to repeat the same scenes & dialogues from past episodes, as Kate & Eugenia continue to plot, Sami continues to fall for their schemes, the European foursome have the same arguments, & Mimi continues to attempt to tell Rex about her abortion, while airport security is woefully lacking when Philip’s unit is shipping out, Zzzzzzzzzz

MIMI IS IN TEARS as she remembers telling Rex about the abortion. He comes out of the bathroom, drying himself with a towel. She tells him how sorry she is & is there anything she can do to prove it. Rex says no, what’s done is done. As she talks of packing her things up and leaving, Rex stops her. Yep, turns out he fell asleep in the tub, while listening to his I-Pod & never heard a word. (like we could not see that coming!) Mimi again tries to tell him, but Rex keeps interrupting her, talks of the doll, and Jan is crazy, & just babbles on, not allowing Mimi to say what she wants to say.

Jan sees Belle in the hall, asks about Shawn & Philip, then argues with Belle about her going after Shawn and telling Philip the truth. She lays a guilt trip on Belle, & figures she has done half her work now, but follows Belle to the airport.

Philip is at the airport, having gotten what is evidently supposed to be a regulation Marine haircut on the way there. He is yakking it up with a fellow Marine, about Lt. Paul, the dear John letter, the accident, etc. etc. Philip has no such qualms about his wife, he claims. Shawn arrives, asks for Philip to be paged, since he cannot find him. The airport is filled with military personnel in camouflage gear. Belle arrives, followed by Jan, both looking for Shawn & Philip. Jan feels she has to create a distraction, so sees a huge switch, right out in plain view of anyone and everyone, and she flips it, turning off ALL the lights in the airport. (Every time you think Days just cannot come up with something more ridiculous, you find you are wrong……they DO!)

OVER IN EUROPE Bo sees a picture on the wall, and in the background is Patrick kissing Hope. He gets ticked off, then spots Patrick holding Billie, and gets even more ticked off. Hope tries to explain about the surveillance camera, but Bo barely listens, as too intent on watching Patrick, whom he distrusts. Bo & Hope go outside, & argue some more. She tells him he is neglecting his sons and his marriage and her, to go running around the world after Billie, when every lead is a false one, part of the “game” and they know it is a set up by the DiMeras. Bo accuses her of not wanting him to find his daughter, and stalks back inside to go pack. Meanwhile Patrick has been telling Billie that if she wants to continue searching for her daughter, she is going to have to give up Bo. They argue a bit about it, & she spots the picture of him kissing Hope, & accuses Patrick of having a thing for Hope. Outside, Hope damns Tony, saying he intends to destroy all their lives, as Patrick comes outside, telling her she is right. They argue about Billie’s intentions towards Bo, with Patrick claiming she is not after him, & he can prove it. They go upstairs. Bo has already come into the room, where Billie is bemoaning the fact she was so sure she had found her daughter. He assures her they will find Georgia eventually, but Billie tells him to go home to his family, yada, yada, yada, & when she finds something definitive, she will contact him so he can join her. Skeptical Hope is hearing this, telling Patrick it sounds to her like more manipulation. They enter the doorway, to find Billie’s head on Bo’s shoulder. Hope says nothing, but the look she is giving Bo says it all.

KATE HAS HIRED an outpatient nurse for John, on Lexie’s advice, & sends her upstairs to John’s room. (Gee, ya think you could tell John, so he isn’t surprised by some strange woman coming into his room?). Eugenia comes out with tea for the two of them, as they go over their strategy for making sure Sami & Lucas do not marry. Kate goes to her purse & pulls out a gun, scaring Eugenia, who won’t participate in a murder. Kate laughs, saying it is Roman’s gun, given to her during all the stalker stuff, & she has a license for it. She puts it back, pulls out a small piece of paper, telling Eugenia that Sami checks her horoscope every day online, & she has written something special. Eugenia is to hack into the web site, and change Sami’s horoscope. She refuses, saying she could go to jail, and she already got into trouble before for changing things. Kate tells her she was fired cuz of Sami, and she still wants to get revenge, right. Eugenia agrees, & proceeds to hack into the site. She claims she will know when Sami goes on line, as she has her on her buddy list on her PDA. (Jeez, talk about invasion of privacy…..doesn’t someone have to agree to be on your list? Maybe not).

Sami is on the phone, chatting with Eric, sorry that he is in Malta on a fashion shoot, and won’t be able to come to her wedding TOMORROW! (LOL, remember this is still the day after Philip & Belle’s wedding, which took place on New Year’s Eve! In Salem time, TOMORROW will probably be in April! Maybe just in time for April Fool! LOLOL) She hangs up, as Lucas comes in & she asks if he has talked to landlord about giving up his apt. He says he will after they are married, & this ticks Sami off, as she worries that he thinks something will go wrong. Lucas reassures her, but teases her about all her superstitions. (Man, Sami was NEVER into all this psychic mumbo-jumbo/horoscope stuff!). Kate calls Lucas, as Sami logs onto her computer. Kate chats about nothing, then hangs up when Eugenia tells her Sami is online. Lucas asks Sami what she is doing, and she explains about the Spectator’s web site, with horoscopes, and how she checks hers every day. (Wonder how Kate knew that before, but Lucas didn’t?) Sami is horrified to see that today hers reads….A man from your past will destroy your happiness. ……She immediately thinks of Brandon & a split screen shows a very gleeful Kate & Eugenia. Sami then decides to look at tomorrow’s horoscope, and it says…..This is your wedding day, but you will never walk down the aisle……Lucas comes back, and shuts her laptop down, making her promise NOT to look at it again. He reassures her about their wedding tomorrow, and all will be well. He goes back to his apt, and outside in the hall, Kate & Eugenia are laughing up a storm at the success of their trick. Kate just KNOWS Sami is calling to see if Brandon is in Salem or not…..and sure enough, that is exactly what she is doing. When she learns Brandon is in Salem, she slams the phone down, yelling NO. We again see the split screen, showing a devastated Sami, and a very joyful Kate & Eugenia. And the previews roll…….

Jan tells a Marine…..See that guy over there (Shawn). He came here to steal the wife of one of your Marines. I want you to stop him.

Kate says………….All our pawns have to play their roles perfectly, and Sami will be destroyed…as Eugenia smiles.

Lexie: Go to bed. Let fate take care of tomorrow.
Sami: The fates are out to get me, I ‘m #1 on their hit list

Philip on the phone: I love you Belle
Belle: I love you, too, Philip….as Shawn grabs her phone, saying…that’s not true, Philip.

Summary: Belle and Shawn both try to talk to Philip at the base before he leaves as Jan works to keep them all apart. Lexie works to keep Brandon and Sami apart…as Kate & Eugenia scramble all over town (in an elaborate scheme) to push them together. (In my opinion, they should just go ahead and animate this show…it has become nothing short of a cartoon.)

AT THE CARVER HOUSE…Lexie and Celeste both are all over Brandon for coming home and try to get him to leave. We see flashbacks of Celeste’s vision/prediction/whatever you call it, but he says he is not leaving and is sure that nothing will happen. Lexie makes him promise to stay away from Sami. Later, Brandon is gone as Lexie tells Celeste that Abe and Theo are upstairs asleep. They talk about Abe’s condition but Celeste is playing with her cards and tells Lexie it doesn’t look good.

MEANWHILE ACROSS TOWN…Kate and Eugenia are in the hallway outside Sami’s apartment yucking it up. Inside, Sami calls Brandon’s office and finds out he has gone to Salem and screams as Kate and Eugenia congratulate themselves. Sami rushes out and right into Kate as they get into it. Sami accuses her of trying to ruin her wedding as Kate plays innocent. Sami rants at her as Kate says she is only there to try to help and Sami tells her to go to hell. Kate needles Sami, pushing her buttons. Sami goes to leave as Kate asks her if she is rushing off to meet her lover. Sami says that Brandon is NOT her lover, then Kate points out she never mentioned Brandon by name. After Sami leaves, Eugenia rejoins Kate (she was hiding around the corner). They laugh and say the next move is Sami’s…they are sure she will go looking for Brandon at Lexie’s but Kate is pretty sure Lexie won’t tell her where he is. Later we see Eugenia on her laptop, tracking Brandon’s movements by his credit card activity (oh geez).

Sami shows up at the Carvers, banging on the door. She barges in demanding to know where Brandon is but they won’t tell her. Sami looks frantically for him as Celeste asks how she even knew that Brandon is in town. Sami tells them the story of her horoscope and then calling his office. Lexie lectures her and tells her to go home and to bed and forget about Brandon. But Sami is sure that fate is out to destroy her wedding. Finally, Lexie physically tosses her out but Sami swears she will find him. After she leaves, Celeste feels that the stars have some willing helpers. Lexie says it shouldn’t even matter if Brandon is in town or not and feels that Sami is wasting her time.

AT A HOTEL NEAR THE AIRPORT…Brandon is in the bar having a beer as Kate is keeping an eye on him. Eugenia is paying a visit to Miss Wendy, armed with cash. They have Brandon paged as Kate slithers over and puts a drug in his beer. When he comes back, he finishes the drink, pays his tab and heads to his room. Meanwhile, Sami calls Miss Wendy for advice. Wendy holds out her hand as Eugenia keeps feeding her money. Wendy tells Sami where she can find Brandon, at the Jet-Way Inn outside of Salem so Sami takes off to find him. Later, Eugenia joins Kate in the bar as Kate swipes Brandon’s bar tab and replaces it with cash. Sami comes in like a tornado, asking the bartender about Brandon. He won’t tell her what room Brandon is in as he even accuses her of being a hooker. Eugenia places another call and has Sami paged. While she is on the house phone, Kate then spikes Sami’s drink as well and puts Brandon’s bill back on the bar. Sami comes back and finds the bill (with Brandon’s room number on it) and finishes her drink and heads off to Brandon’s room. Eugenia thinks Kate is a genius, but Kate says she is just warming up. A sleepy Brandon goes to his room and calls Lexie to tell them where he is, but she doesn’t even want to know what motel he is at. She tells him about Sami looking for him and for him to stay put until after the wedding. After they get off the phone, Celeste gasps, telling Lexie that Brandon and Sami are on a collision course and she can do nothing to stop it. In the hallway, Kate is now dressed as a cleaning woman with a blond wig and black-rimmed glasses, telling Eugenia she is doing it all for Lucas. She is jabbering something about Curtis and how Sami ruined Austin’s life as well. Eugenia ducks around the corner as Sami comes barging by and Kate runs the cart into her. Sami demands the key to her room (claiming she lost hers). Kate gives her a hard time and refuses to let her in, demanding ID. Sami gives her $20, but Kate demands all her money, which ends up being $28.00 and some change. Finally, she unlocks the door and lets her in. Eugenia joins Kate as they celebrate. Kate tells her she knows what to do now (I would assume that is to call Lucas so he can find Sami and Brandon together?) Meanwhile, Sami goes in (yawning) and starts talking to Brandon, but I think he is asleep.

AT THE BASE AIRPORT…Everyone is bumbling around in the dark (thanks to Jan). Shawn catches a glimpse of Philip and tries to get to him but is stopped. Belle is also wandering around looking for them…hoping she gets to Philip before Shawn. Belle has flashbacks of fighting with Jan and then sees Philip in battle. Jan grabs some Marine and sucks on his face and talks him and his buddies into detaining Shawn. Meanwhile, Philip is talking to another Marine about their Lieutenant (forget his name) and how that would never happen to him because Belle loves him so much. The group of Marines grab Shawn and haul him into a room and rough him up and threaten him, warning him to stay away from Philip’s wife (as Jan listens). Philip borrows someone’s phone to call Belle one last time. The guys assure Jan that Shawn is taken care of and she rewards them with kisses and then decides to slip off and wait for Shawn at home. Philip calls Belle as she keeps saying she has something to tell him, but he won’t let her talk. He goes on and on about how her love will be the only thing to get him through this and says he loves her. She says she loves him too…just as Shawn takes the phone from her and says it’s not true…Belle loves him…as the previews show…

Shawn (to Belle): I don’t care if every marine here tries to stop me…Philip has to know the truth so we can be together…

Mimi (to Rex): No, we can’t have a family, because I don’t deserve to be the mother of your children…

John (to Kate, in bed): I would do anything for my children…Kate: So will I…

Eugenia (as she rubs Brandon’s chest): Brandon Walker…you sure are fine…of course Sami had to have you one more time, even if it IS the night before her wedding (as we see Brandon and Sami in bed asleep together)…

And the credits roll…

Summary: More of the same as another LONG night in Salem continues..YAWN..

AT THE LOFT..
Rex tries to get Mimi to come to bed. She sees the doll on the couch and it morphs into Jan dressed like the doll and she warns Mimi she'll lose Rex either way now. Rex apologizes to Mimi for asking her to go against what she wanted to do to help Belle. Jan, dressed like the doll, reappears and taunt her (how stupid can this get? If I wanted to watch Passions, I would! Days of Our Lives is about love, family and mystery and romance, not this!). She tells him she wouldn't be a good mom and he hands her the stupid doll, said he knows she'd make a great mom. He babbles on about how he can't wait to be a great father (just like he babbled on when she was pregnant about having to wait). He notices she's pale and she admits having a headache. He wants to put this behind them, but asks what she told him when he was asleep in the tub. She flashes back to her confession earlier and tells him she was only apologizing for going against his wishes and helping Belle and Shawn. He assures her he understands and knows she'd never lie to him about anything that really mattered. Jan-Doll gets up and dances saying..wanta bet? Meems grabs the doll and wants it gone as Jan Doll continues taunting her. Mimi tells herself the abortion was wrong. Jan Doll tells her to keep her mouth shut and Belle away from Shawn. (DUMB! Why I get up early to report this is beyond me)

BACK AT THE NON SECURE AIRPORT...
The airport lights turn on and Shawn's cell connection with Philip breaks up. He tells him that Belle loves him, not Philip, but doesn't know for sure if Philip even heard him before they're totally disconnected. As Jan eavesdrops from around the corner, Shawn vows to tell Philip the truth, even if he has to fly there and tell him personally (oh sure). He leaves to do something and Jan confronts Belle, warning her that Philip's blood will be on her hands if he dies overseas. Belle tells Jan (why I don't know) about Philip's friend who got dumped and how she's in love with Shawn, not Philip. Jan says Shawn's amnesia is his excuse for his actions, what's hers?

Shawn tries to get one of the military guys to let Belle speak to her husband on the plane (via radio I assume). He gets a NO nod. He tells Belle and has only one other way for her to tell Philip the truth and asks if she'll do it. He asks her to email Philip and tell him the truth. She remembers Philip telling her how heartless it is to get Dear John's via mail or phone. Shawn continues encouraging her as Jan knows Belle couldn't do that. Jan vows to make sure Mimi loses the love of her life if she loses her own.

AT THE PENTHOUSE
An unshaven John dreams about his and Marlena's last words on the liferaft before being separated. Through hazy eyes he looks up and sees a face, thinking she's come back. Of course it's only his nurse, who resembles Marlena in the dark (what's with that Kate?). He rolls away and the picture of him and Marlena falls to the floor with the glass breaking.

Kate returns home to the Penthouse and the nurse agrees to spend the night. Kate suggests she take a break and after making a phone call, says she'll check on John. She calls Lucas and tells him she hired a PI to follow Sami. Although Lucas isn't on, we hear her one sided conversation as she says the PI couldn't find anything other than Sami loves him and she offers him every happiness. She goes to see John and as he jerks and groans, telling him everyone thinks he's got the flu and the nurses and Lexie will keep his secret. He wakes up and asks her for something for the pain. (he sure tosses and turns well with that back injury) She urges him to focus on his daughter and he vows he'd do anything for his children (as she whispers so would she). She tells him that Roman and Marlena would want them to not wallow in their grief and to be there for their children. She babbles on about her children and what's going on with them. She tells him she'd do anything to make sure Lucas gets the future he deserves. John dreams of when Marlena vowed to love him always (one of their weddings?).

AT THE HOTEL
Back to the hotel, high schoolers Kate and Eugenia continue their games. She remembers doctoring Brandon's drink and figure Sami will self destruct in the room with him. After Kate leaves, Eugenia continues her own little rah, rah, sish-coomba celebrating outside in the hallway.

We see Sami talking to Brandon propped against the headboard facing her as she urges him to leave town. Of course he's out cold and when he doesn't even respond when she asks him to, she figures he's intentionally silent. Only wanting to marry Lucas tomorrow and finally being a family, she tells him she knows Kate and Eugenia are plotting against her. Her own doped drink gets to her and she sits on the bed next to Brandon as she blabbers about Jan's pranks that caused Belle and Shawn's problems. Apparently sitting next to him even doesn't clue her in he's NOT LISTENING. She continues sipping and wonders what's wrong with her as she's really tired (well, it's been a LOOONNNGG night). She finally notices he's out...even tapping his face doesn't wake him up. She wonders what's wrong with her too as she collapses on top of him. Eugenia opens the door and stages the scene with some champagne bottles and straddles Brandon to strip him. She strokes his chest, saying he's fine, fine as she unbuckles his pants and enjoying her task. At the end of the show she has both Sami and Brandon naked and under the sheets.

Summary: Nothing new or earth-shattering going on here. Nancy worries over Chloe after her surgery…Nicole continues to try to make Brady forget about her…Mimi continues to be haunted by the past…Belle decides not to follow Shawn’s advice…Kate and Eugenia continue to scheme…as Sami wakes up, wondering what is going on.

AT THE KIRIAKIS MANSION…Nicole comes in with popcorn and beer, for scary movie night, but Brady is distracted. It seems he got a call from Father Tim (?) telling him that the donation they made at Christmas is going to help some poor girl (named Clara) who was in an accident. Her family has no insurance but the money is helping her get reconstructive surgery at a clinic outside of town. She was also a singer, causing Brady to think of Chloe yet again. While he is on the phone on another call, Nicole damns Chloe for continuing to come between them. She has an idea, saying it will cost her a lot of money, but worth it. When Brady gets off the phone, she suggests they go out to the clinic tonight and present them with a check to cover the girl’s medical expenses, in memory of Chloe. Brady thinks it’s a wonderful gesture, so off they go.

MEANWHILE, AT THE CLINIC…Chloe (with her head all bandaged up like a mummy) wakes up after her surgery and Nancy assures her that all will be okay. In the hallway, Nancy talks with the doctor, who isn’t so optimistic, telling her that she is not out of the woods yet. He prepares Nancy for the possibility that the surgery may have not been a success. In the room, Chloe looks at Brady’s picture and has flashbacks of them. Nancy goes back inside, praying that all will be okay. Chloe tells her that she feels okay, but will feel better once she sees Brady.

AT MIMI & REX’S…Mimi tosses and turns and can’t sleep. She sees visions of a little boy (as Jan’s voice taunts her) and imagines that she is pregnant. She wakes up in a cold sweat screaming and Rex notices she is sweating and has a fever. She continues to see the little boy and hear Jan’s voice. The little boy leaves the room and Mimi follows him. He waves goodbye to her and vanishes as she faints on the floor.

AT THE AIRPORT…Shawn and Belle are still there as Jan is listening. She tells Shawn that she cannot send the email and break Philip’s heart…it would kill him. He urges her to ask for an annulment, but she says she can’t, for somewhere along the way, on some level she DID fall in love with Philip and can’t hurt him. But Shawn says she can’t live a lie. She is confused and tells him that she needs to be alone to think so she leaves. Jan comes over and tells Shawn she is tired of the way he is treating her. He tells her that he doesn’t want to be with her and to leave him alone…she is delusional. They argue over how they even got engaged, for he can’t remember at all. BUT, he promises her that eventually he WILL remember everything. As he storms off, she mumbles he will be sorry…NO ONE messes with Jan Spears.

Belle goes back to the loft and sees Philip’s things around the room and has flashbacks of them kissing. She also has flashbacks of kissing Shawn as she picks up the stuffed snowman Shawn gave her and hugs it. She asks HOW could she have married Philip when she still loved Shawn. Shawn comes in and apologizes for pressuring her. But she says it is all her own fault. She says she still loves him…she never stopped and they kiss…just as Jan walks in to see them.

AT LUCAS’S…he and Will are shining their shoes for the big event. They talk about the wedding as both are excited that they will finally be a real family. Will worries about the one obstacle…Grandma Kate. But Lucas assures him that it is all okay and that Kate is behind them now. Lucas has Flashbacks of Kate telling him about the private investigator she hired. Lucas tells Will that Kate realized that he and Sami are in love and belong together and that they WILL be a family soon.

MEANWHILE, KATE calls Eugenia (who is posted outside Brandon’s room) assuring Kate that all is going according to plan on her end. We see flashbacks (for the umpteenth time) of Kate drugging Sami’s drink and they talk about Phase 2. Inside the room, Sami and Brandon are snuggled up and start kissing. Kate tells her that they have a lot of work left to do…they must get Lucas over there to find them together. Kate then calls Lucas and apologizes about the PI thing and Lucas asks for her blessing, which she gives. She asks where Sami is and Lucas assumes she is at home, perhaps soaking in the tub. He looks out the window and notices her apartment is dark. Meanwhile, Eugenia keeps poking her head in Brandon’s room to check on them. Sami is asleep and dreams she is in bed with Lucas. She is confused, but figures it doesn’t matter and starts kissing Lucas. She wakes up and looks at him and sees that it is Brandon instead. Lucas tells Kate he is going to go and check on Sami, but she stops him, telling him it is bad luck. She convinces him that Sami probably just went to bed early. She cuts the conversation short, telling Lucas she has another call. Of course it is Eugenia, wondering what is going on. In the room, Sami is confused, wondering what happened, but her mind is muddled. Brandon (still asleep) pulls her close. Kate rushes over to Lucas’s apartment and comes inside saying she is sorry, so sorry. Meanwhile, Sami can’t figure out what is going on and figures it is all a dream and thinks when she wakes up, she will find herself in bed with Lucas…as she drifts off to sleep…and the previews show…

Nancy (to Chloe): The minute the bandages come off I want you to go to him, he is going to dump Nicole. Chloe: I’m not so sure of that…

Belle (to Shawn): I just believe it is too late for us. Shawn: It’s never to late to go to Philip and tell him we love each other…

Lucas (to Kate): You never wanted me to marry Sami…what happened? Kate: You know, you are absolutely right…

Hope (to Bo): Are you saying you are sorry we came to Europe to look for you? Bo: You never should have come…

Summary: The longest night continues as everyone's on the same continent now. Hopefully they slept on the plane as the returning foursome look refreshed as they bicker some more and plan more for the night ahead as Jennifer referees. At the clinic Chloe continues to refuse calling Brady as he and Nicole are merely feet away bankrolling another patient's surgery. A supposedly distressed Kate confronts Lucas as to what Sami's up to.

AT THE CLINIC OUTSIDE OF SALEM
Nancy visits Chloe (Patrika looks fabulous!). She encourages Chloe to keep a positive outlook and to call Brady, but Chloe reads between her words knowing the surgery wasn't as successful as anticipated. (it must be hard putting heavy eye makeup on with her face bandaged and even harder to remove it..surprised it's not even banned as a possible infection causer..but I digress)..Nancy admits there may be some residual scar tissue that will take a long time to heal and Chloe finishes..may never go away. If so, Chloe says she won't see Brady. Nancy tries to convince Chloe that her scars won't stop Brady from wanting her. Chloe admits seeing Brady with Nicole and can tell he has feelings for her. Nancy knows Brady would only want her if he knew she was still alive and wouldn't care what Chloe looks like. Uh oh, Chloe's tearing up..hope she's wearing waterproof makeup.

Nicole and Brady visit a doctor at the clinic to make a very generous donation to help a churchmember's daughter needing plastic surgery. Realizing they'd never seen the girl, he shows them before and after pictures of her. They're shocked. He tells them there's another girl having the same surgery now and asks if they'd like to meet her. Brady would and Nicole cuts in saying only if it's okay with the girl. He leaves to go check, saying she's with her mother now. Later he returns...with Clara, the little girl they're helping. Her mother had just left. After Clara hears they're paying for her surgery, she runs and hugs Nicole who is caught offguard. Later Brady tells the little girl she can pursue her musical career and he'd talk with her about it after she graduates college (in about 10+ years I'm guessing). The little girl hugs them both and heads back to her room alone as the doctor stays to talk to them. Brady asks about the other patient he referred to and the doctor says the woman is a singer. Later Brady asks the woman's name and agrees he would like to meet her. Clara walks into Chloe's room and tells her and Nancy about her benefactors.

AT JENNIFERS...
Bo, Billie, Hope and Patrick return to Salem and drive straight to Jennifer's. Jennifer learns Tony had set up this whole Georgia situation before his (supposed) death. Bo is anxious to call Shawn and steps aside to do so (probably recharged his cell battery in the plane) and doesn't get an answer (hope the Basic Black Jet was still there to save them $$$ flying home). Hope asks Jen if she's heard anything from Shawn, but Jen figures if anything were wrong, they'd know. Billie continues her sarcastic, negative attitude and even damns Hope when she tries to rationalize what's going on. Bo snaps at Patrick as well, accusing him of enjoying seeing Tony's sick game play out. Jennifer speaks out and tells them all to be thankful they survived and able to return home safely. She lectures Billie that she needs a plan before jumping into something and to also think about Georgia who might be very happy with adoptive parents now. She urges them to just spend the rest of the night relaxing. Bo agrees and tells Hope they're going to go home and have some quality time together after he checks in at the station (I'm sure they'll appreciate knowing the boss is back in town). Hope heads up to see Zack as Patrick promises to help Billie find Georgia and hugs her as Jen watches with mixed emotions. Bo starts snapping at Patrick again and when Hope returns (w/o Zack) asks Bo if he didn't want her and Patrick to come looking for them, he agrees. They all start bickering again and the raised voices wake baby Jack and he starts crying. Jen says that Abby's at Chelsea's tonight and we see Zack coming downstairs. He rushes into Hope's arms (aww) and she and Bo snuggle with their son. (Baby Jack must drift back off to sleep as we don't hear or see him). Billie breaks up Patrick and Bo from arguing more and after Bo tells them he wants to take his wife and son home and spend time with them, Billie agrees to go out with Patrick for something to eat, saying she's starving. Bo and Hope gather Zack up and Hope tells Jen it's not over when Bo gets some juice for Zack in the kitchen. Jen tells Zack he's welcome to come any time and he asks if Mommy and Daddy are going again (awww). Hope tells him no and they're taking him home to eat him up and they leave. Jennifer leans against the closed door and tells Jack's picture she remembered when they had arguments like that and if she knew then what she knows now...saying how much she misses him and holds his picture to her chest.

AT THE LOFT...
Belle and Shawn are kissing and Shawn picks Belle up to carry her to the bedroom. She reminds him she's MARRIED and points out her ring and has him put her down. He apologizes for his actions recently and explains it was because he didn't have her in his life that he acted that way. Belle tells him how Philip asked her many times if she was sure of her feelings for him and thinks maybe it's too late for her and Shawn. Shawn's determined to let Philip know ASAP how Belle truly feels, thinking it's the best for Philip not to get his hopes and dreams up on returning to Belle. She disagrees and she'd never forgive herself if Philip got hurt or killed because of her. Shawn is hellbent on telling Philip and grasps at straws that the Marines might give Philip a furlough to see her in Europe if she contacted them (yeah, right..but with Philip's unit they probably would give him a month off). She tells him that he knows she does love Philip too and if he'd want her to do the same thing to him if the situation were reversed. He says he'd want her to be with the man she loved the most and asks her bluntly, who do you love the most, me or Philip? She doesn't answer and he tries to convince her how they're soulmates and urges her to email Philip. Emotionally spent, Belle sits at her computer crying as Shawn kisses her and tells her how proud he is of her (aka that she's doing what HE wants).

AT THE SALEM INN...
Eugenia paces the hall anxiously awaiting for Kate to bring Lucas to see Sami and Brandon in bed together. As she fantasizes about what she did to Sami and Brandon, an inn staffmember tells her the guests have been calling and concerned about a woman loitering in the hallway and if he can help her (reality, at last!). She tells him she had a date with a guest, Brandon Walker and was waiting for him. She knocks (knowing there would be no answer) and agrees to wait in the lobby when he suggests she do so.

Kate is with Lucas who is extremely annoyed with her. She tells him she's accepted he and Sami getting married and he thanks her for it. To herself she admits she's not, but he'll thank her for it one day. Forcing herself to get emotional, she sadly tells him the PI she hired wanted to continue following Sami tonight as she's not home as Lucas thinks. Kate starts crying and tells Lucas she has to tell him for his own good......

Bo angrily tells Hope that Patrick's trying to come between them and it's obviously working. This is more proof that he's on the Dimera payroll..

A miracle tonight in Salem, as not a single solitary flashback……..& Jack is back! Yayyyy. BUT, the bad news is, it is still the same night…..as Kate continues to con Lucas, Bo does the same to Hope, Chelsea again talks Abby into mischief, & we once more have a near miss meeting between Brady & Chloe.

AT THE CLINIC Clara excitedly goes on and on to Chloe about her benefactor, while the doctor tells Brady & Nicole all about his other accident patient, without mentioning her name. He asks Brady if he would like to meet her, & goes to talk to Chloe about it. Chloe, meanwhile, is demonstrating some vocal exercisies to Clara, & Brady hears, saying that sounds like Chloe. Nicole discourages him from trying to find out who was singing, but Nancy spots them in the hall. Meanwhile, the doctor is trying to convince Chloe to meet with the generous people, & Nancy comes in, wholeheartedly agreeing. The doctor returns to Brady & Nicole, saying the patient will meet with them, but the nurse comes in saying she changed her mind, is tired, etc. etc. Back in Chloe’s room, Chloe is scolding Nancy, as Clara remembered the name of her benefactor, Chloe realized Nancy knew, and hollers at her. Nancy asks her if she has considered the fact that by waiting too long, while Brady & Nicole get closer, she may be throwing away her last chance.

JEN CLASPS JACK’S PICTURE to her, as she tells herself how much she misses him. She lays down on the sofa, crying, and still talking to him. Julie stops by, out for some air, with a dozen excuses as to why she is out in the middle of the night, (I don’t care, love seeing her). Jen talks about Jack……..who is busily scrubbing away in the laundry room of the freighter or whatever kind of ship he is on. LOL. (Oh, wow, it is soooo good to see him). The captain comes in, hollering about too much starch in his shirt. Jack babbles about how hard it is to judge the amount of starch in a big tub, when he just used to spray a bit as he ironed. Ah, the captain’s eyes light up, & he says he did not know Jack could iron. But Jack refuses, saying he agreed to do the washing, he doesn’t iron, nor does he do port holes either. ROTFL! The captain threatens him, saying that he could just not let Jack off the boat, and take him back from whence he came. Jack mutters about the Lady Liberty, & the captain says they will be seeing her soon. Jack’s eyes light up, they are nearing home. Later, he sees a portable radio, wonders, since nearing land, if he can pick up anything. He turns it on……and tho, we hear a lot of static, lo and behold, a Salem radio station is giving the weather forecast for tonite, clear & cold. LOLOL (Let’s see now, they have crossed the Atlantic from Europe, are nearing land, and does the radio pick up Bangor, NY, Boston, Charleston, Savannah,Jacksonville. Nope, all the way across the Midwest to good ol Salem, USA. Ha!) Jack is so happy, he is close to home & Jennifer, who is also listening to the same station, and saying how close Jack seems to her, she feels his love stronger than ever before.

BO fixes the fire, while Hope is getting Zack back to sleep. She comes down, & he suggests curling up by the fire together. She is rather abrupt, & curt but he persists, talking of a late night snack. She says she will fix soup & sandwiches as she is tired. He says that sounds good, and he will call Billie now. Hope turns around, sez, on 2nd thought fix your own damn sandwiches. They argue, & he brings up Patrick, insisting he is still sleeping with the DiMeras. Hope denies, Bo wonders how Patrick gets Jen, Hope & Billie all wrapped around his little finger. He brings up the picture of Hope & Patrick kissing, she explains again about the surveillance camera, and pretending to be a romantic couple. (Jeez Bo, and how many times have you and Billie kissed already?) Bo sweet talks Hope, glad she is jealous of Billie, as shows she still cares, and begins kissing her neck, etc. They dissolve from view and we see only the fire.

CHELSEA & ABBY SIT AT THE CHEATIN’ HEART with Abby a nervous wreck. Chelsea reassures her, as they are sitting at a table, with diet pop, and not doing anything wrong. Abby sees Patrick & Billie walk in and panics. But they do not see the girls. A jealous Chelsea asks what Billie’s story is, & Abby fills her in. Patrick brings 2 beers to the table, & Billie is surprised about the beer for her, but proceeds to drink up. He gets a call, and goes outside to hear better. Some guy named Mace comes over with another beer for her, and they get up to dance. His hands are all over her, truly. Chelsea notes that he is really horny. LOL. Outside, some guy is warning Patrick to give him the cash as soon as it gets here. Inside, Abby insists on leaving before Chelsea’s mom realizes they are gone. Billie ditches Mace as Patrick finally returns, and tells her they are gonna have some fun tonite. (So much for jet lag! LOL)

KATE IS STILL acting her evil little heart out, shedding tears as she tells Lucas her cooked up P.I. story about Sami going out and not home yet. A disbelieving Lucas phones Sami, but gets the machine, so goes over to check. Kate calls Eugenia, who fills her in about getting busted in the hallway, but now is in a maid’s uniform (blue, instead of Kate’s previous pink one, and man, sure is easy to get those carts and keys, huh?). Lucas returns, saying Sami not there, sees Kate on phone, & grabs it, thinking it is Sami. Eugenia uses fake voice to pretend to be the florist, promising all flowers will be there on time. (Oh, yeah, like the florist calls you in middle of night….what is it now, 2-3 a.m.? But STILL the day after the wedding, lol) Lucas pressures Kate to tell him where Sami went, and she “reluctantly” (man does Days waste time!) tells him that Sami went to a hotel, to a man’s room. Lucas refuses to believe it, Sami doesn’t even know any men. Kate calls her P.I. (Eugenia) & blabs away, faking learning some news, demanding proof. She hangs up, tells Lucas they can go to hotel for the proof. He demands to know everything, & Kate finally says the man is Brandon Walker. Lucas hollers at her, will not believe it. And the previews roll…….

Kate to Lucas: Maybe Brandon is jealous of you & Sami, and now he’s gonna put Sami’s life in jeopardy. Could you live with losing Sami forever?

Belle to Shawn: If Philip dies in combat, how could we live with the guilt, knowing our love killed Philip?

And finally, we see John, looking like a hung over Salem Stalker in the hooded dark sweatshirt, obviously out somewhere………: I need some top-shelf pain medication. Cop’s voice: Police! Freeze, both of you! ( very dark out, could not tell who other person is)

Summary: Kate tries her best to get Lucas to venture over to the hotel and catch Sami and Brandon…Shawn tries his best to convince Belle to break it off with Philip…as John tries his best to get his hands on some drugs (even Marlena can’t stop him).

AT THE PENTHOUSE…John can’t sleep as visions of Marlena dance through his head, telling him to be strong. But he wakes up calling for her and realizes it was a dream. He gets dressed and sees the nurse’s bag (she is asleep in a chair). He goes through the bag and I don’t think he found anything, so he slips out, saying he has no choice. He ends up down on the docks where he hooks up with some guy who offers to ‘fix him up’ if he needs it. He takes him to another guy and John asks for drugs. They make the exchange…just as a cop yells FREEZE. But he was talking to other people as John hides. After they leave, John fumbles with the vial and syringe and he again sees Marlena. She holds him as they hug and he begs for her to be real, kissing her. She tells him to be strong and have faith. He begs her to come back to him and she reminds him she has come back before…that is what she does…comes back to him. (He has a brief flashback of their pier reunion so long ago). He says her love has always saved him. She says she came there tonight to save him and begs him not to take the drugs…for they will surely kill him. She reminds him that so many people love him and are depending on him. He needs to be there for Brady, Belle, Eric and Sami. She reminds him that he is strong and can make it through this. He begs for her to be real and he is crying as she begins to fade away. She promises him that he will never lose her…she will always be there with him. After she disappears, he moans, calling for her as we see him lying on the ground. He realizes it wasn’t real and he tries to get up but falls, crying for her. He slides over to the wall and fumbles around, taking out the drugs. Just as he starts to shoot up, someone walks up and he asks “what the hell do you want?”

AT THE LOFT…Shawn is encouraging Belle as she writes the email to Philip, but she can’t send it. She can’t stand the thought of hurting him like that. She is sure that if something happened to Philip, it would be her fault as she whines and cries around. Shawn tries to convince her that she can’t live a lie and that would be worse. He says that lies always come out and THAT is when people really get hurt, as he talks about how he lied about getting Jan pregnant and what trouble that caused. She says that Philip doesn’t deserve to get hurt…his only mistake was loving her. He says they can’t go back and change things, they can only go forward from here and learn from their mistakes. But she feels that now, the truth will make things worse. Shawn says he feels that all the things that he loves about her will end up causing him to lose her…her love, commitment and loyalty. She swears she loves Shawn and wants a future with him, but just can’t hurt Philip to get this. (Just HOW MANY ways can they say these same things over and over??) She says if something happens to Philip and they lose him, they will also end up losing each other. Shawn reminds her that joining the service was Philip’s choice…he will survive, but they can’t continue to lie to him about how they feel to each other. She is confused and says she needs to talk to Mimi. With a kiss, she goes over to the other apartment. She opens the door, walks in and screams. (Funny, their scenes had the same effect on me ;-)

OVER AT LUCAS’ APARTMENT…more double-talk and repetition is the order of the evening. Meanwhile, Eugenia frets at the hotel, wondering where Kate and Lucas are. Lucas chastises Kate for accusing Sami of wrong-doing, sure that she loves HIM. He accuses her of making up lies about Sami but Kate keeps on trying to convince him that Sami is up to no good. She really pours it on thick, but Lucas refuses to believe her, saying he is sick of her same old song and dance. (You aren’t the only one Lucas) He warns her if she is lying to him, he will cut her out of his life and out of Will’s too. But she swears she would never lie to him. He is sure that there is a logical explanation why, IF Sami is with Brandon, perhaps she wants to clear the air. Lucas goes out of his way here to give her the benefit of the doubt, but Kate just keeps on and on. Finally, he agrees to call Sami just to prove that he is right. He calls the hotel and asks for Brandon’s room, but there is no answer. (Eugenia hears the phone ringing and fears it will wake them). There is no answer, so he calls back and learns that the bar and restaurant are closed. Kate suggests that maybe Sami is having car trouble, so he calls her cell, but it is turned off. She keeps pushing him to go there and check (my GOD this is giving me a headache). She cites Shawn and Belle as an example, of how he drove his motorcycle through the church window and suggests that maybe Brandon realized he still loves Sami and is trying to make a desperate attempt to stop the wedding. But Lucas stands by Sami, sure there is an explanation and promises to rub Kate’s nose in it when he proves her wrong. He finally decides to drive to the hotel, but as he leaves, she asks him to promise not to bring up her name, saying Sami will be furious if she learns she hired a private detective. Kate tells him that IF Lucas proves her wrong, she will gladly dance at their wedding. Lucas tells her to get ready to “boogie down” because he and Sami ARE getting married tomorrow. After he leaves, we see Kate laughing, celebrating and clapping her hands together as we see a closing shot of Sami and Brandon asleep…and the previews show…

Brandon (waking up): Samantha? As they look at each other…

Bo (to Hope): Forget about Billie…I don’t want to talk about her anymore…

Billie: I said no…and no means NO! (as she pushes some guy away at the Cheatin’Heart…I think the guy she was dancing with)…

John (to Brady): Why don’t you just give me the damned drugs (as he lunges toward Brady)…and Brady punches him…

AT THE BRADY'S...Bo has a surprise in store for Hope and hangs up with his accomplice after thanking him/her. Hope returns, thinking he had been talking to Billie and not happy! Hope starts to tear into him about breaking his Billie free night promise, but he calmly informs her he was trying to surprise his wife, to thank her for being so understanding. Of course the subject changes back to his leaving her twice with Billie to find Georgia and how she and Patrick rescued them. Hope reminds him how much his son(s) needs him and she wants to find Georgia too. He gives her a skeptical look and she continues Georgia might not even be alive. He changes the subject (about time) and asks her to close her eyes as he blindfolds her and then carries her upstairs. After sitting her on the bed he takes the blindfold off and she's surprised to see red balloons, roses, champagne and candles, etc. He knows it's a little early (uh yeah, it's technically what, January 2nd in Salem, LOL!!) as she's overwhelmed and apologizes he's been calling Maggie to help him with this. He leans over with a box of her favorite chocolate truffles (from Paris). She asks how he did that and he responds from the internet, it's an amazing thing!! (yes, it is..and so are their fans who read it...listen to us!!!) He pours some champagne and toasts her, saying there will never be another woman for him for the rest of his days. He asked if she remembered the first time he kissed her and says he has and always will belong to her. She tells him she loves him and they fall back on the bed. Later as we find them naked under the covers, munching on truffles, he gives her another present. Both the outside and inside box prominently show JC PENNEY as she finds a sailboat charm on a silver charm bracelet?) inside. (I tried to find it on their website, no luck) Hope apologizes for not having a gift for him and he says having her in his life is all he wants, yada yada, as she yawns, LOL. He says he's going to consider hiring a private PI to find Georgia and when she asks if Billie will agree, says he doesn't want to talk about Billie any more as he looks at the time. They snuggle up to sleep (about time!).

AT THE CHEATIN' HEART... The nevertired Billie and Patrick continue to frolic as she leans towards him and lays some wet ones on him. He stops her finally and suggests they change from beer to coffee. She starts blabbing again that Bo is back with Hope now and her chances of finding Georgia went poof. She resists his requests to take her home and the guy she danced with comes to her “rescue”. He offers to buy her a drink which she accepts and when he asks if that “Bozo” was her boyfriend, she denies it (no, she wants the other Bo-zo) He tempts her with a bottle of Irish whiskey at his place and offers to show her a really good time. She wants to stay there though, and agrees to dance as he starts grabbing her all over. After telling him NO several times, she has to physically throw him off. Patrick stops him from getting back to Billie and a fight starts as Billie watches from the sidelines. Later we find Patrick and another guy holding the guy each by an arm as Billie winds up and accidentally punches the guy holding the letch, not the letch himself. The guy turns her onto the bar, saying she's under arrest for assaulting a police officer. Billie babbles she didn't know who he was (which is true) and hit the wrong guy (love that ISA training..and we know Bo will get a call to come rescue her, don't we?) Billie is well, Billie...and Patrick tries to come to her defense telling the cop she's ISA. The cop (I like this guy) says he doesn't care if she's FBI, CIA or any other letter in the alphabet and warns Patrick to back off. Patrick stands in front of Billie and the cop arrests him for interferring with an arrest. Billie tells him to call his captain and he'll set him straight. Of course the cop does and Bo's cell apparently vibrates and wakes him up. The cop tells him he has a drunk and disorderly woman at the Cheatin' Heart who just assaulted him and gave him a black eye (as Billie snickers). Bo asks who it is and is told. Bo tells him she's been through rehab and usually stays away from it. Billie starts calling for Bo loudly. Later the phone is at her ear as she asks for help. The cop tells Bo she needs a night in the drunk tank and if Bo tries to out rank him, he'll file a protest. He's taking her to headquarters and hangs up. Patrick tries to get Billie to leave Bo alone. He's married and got 2 kids and she didn't need to call him at home. Billie says she'll always need Bo and he'll always be there for her if she needs him. The cop takes them off to jail.

AT THE PIER... we see Brady finding his father about to shoot up. Brady isn't fooled by John's excuses and knows he needs to check into a rehab clinic for help. John tells him no and pulls out the drugs from his pocket, saying it's the only thing that will make the pain go away. Brady tries to wrestle it away from him. He tells Brady that Marlena couldn't stop him either, which clues Brady in that John's not running all all cylinders. They wrestle and John ends up on the ground (sure helping that spine injury, isn't he?) as Brady pleads with his father to realize what's going on. John tells him the drugs are the only thing giving him any relief. Brady refuses to give him back the drugs and is going to call Kate/Lexie. John gets up and lurches at Brady for the drugs. Brady has to punch John (who's now back on the ground). Yawn....

LUCAS IS.. driving to the Salem Inn to confirm/deny what Kate said about where Sami is as we see Sami and Brandon sleeping side by side as Eugenia panics. Lucas tells himself Sami must have a good reason to go see Brandon tonight. He vows Brandon won't get away with it if he's pressuring Sami to stay married to him and floors the accelerator. As he nears 70-80 he hears sirens and red lights in his back window. Later, Lucas is frustrated as to how long the cop is taking and learns he ran a background check on him. Lucas said his record is clean, but is asked to get out of the car NOW. The cop found the 2 DUI's from years ago and Lucas protests he's been sober since. The cop is satisfied after Lucas walks a straight line, but still needs to write up the speeding ticket.

BELLE SCREAMS..as she arrives to the roof to find Mimi unconscious on the ground. Rex mentions she couldn't sleep and they mention how warm she is (maybe she's as sick of this loooong night and storyline as we are??). They must have transported her to the hospital as we find her in the ER moments later. Rex tells Belle and Shawn about the doll Jan gave them and Mimi wasn't even pregnant. In usual Salem manner, Belle ponders out loud that maybe Jan found out Mimi's secret. Of course Rex asks WHAT secret? Remembering how Mimi made her promise to keep her abortion a secret, Belle tells them they shouldn't keep Mimi's being in ER a secret from Bonnie and goes to call her. Shawn blabs on how true blue Mimi has been to him and his feelings for Belle as Rex confronts him about his brother, Belle's husband and his being in combat. Rex tells Shawn it's always about HIM, isn't it. Belle returns and tells them they need to focus on Mimi now.

Mimi continues to be haunted by the Jan situation, even in her sick state, as the nurse/doctor ponder what's wrong. They know it's not the flu, she's septic. Reviewing her records they see she tested positive on a pregnancy test but know she's not pregnant now. She either lost the baby or had it terminated. Later they just finished examining her and judging by the scar tissue, determine she had a D&C. Mimi's still in and out and they ask who they can talk to about her condition. Mimi tells them (in a fog) Rex, her boyfriend. Belle couldn't reach Bonnie or Patrick and Rex is getting frustrated. If they were married like she is to Philip, they could talk to him. Shawn bites back that she won't be married to him long, with mmore arguing until Belle breaks them up. Rex warns them both that they know Philip won't give up on Belle that easily. Rex walks away as broken record Shawn demands Belle tell Philip. She refuses and tells him not to either.

The doctor gives Mimi antibiotics and says she's had complications since the abortion probably. They tell Rex they know what's wrong with Mimi.

IN BRANDON'S ROOM...
Sami wakes up and realizes she's in bed with Brandon. His face morphs to Lucas', but then Brandon wakes up and sees her there and puzzled. Eugenia grows frantic in the hall as she calls Kate asking where Lucas is (guess the guests don't recognize the loitering stranger is now the loitering maid pacing and talkingon her cellphone?) Towards the end of the show Eugenia shuts the door when she sees Lucas coming down the hall, happy that Sami's fancy wedding and honeymoon won't happen. Lucas knocks on the door as we see a split screen of Sami and Brandon asleep....as the previews roll...

Belle tells Shawn that she's doing the right thing so that they can be together and she tells him she loves him....

Mimi tells Rex that something happened, something she didn't tell him about...

Brady tells John he needs to go to rehab. John said he's not going to rehab like some common junkie..not now, not ever...

Sami wakes up and looks under the sheets shocked..saying “Oh my God” twice.....

Summary: Mimi tries to tell Rex the truth as a distraught Bonnie blames herself for Mimi’s condition…Brady and John find themselves in hot water, but John lies his way out of it…Lucas catches Sami and Brandon in a compromising position (or it seems). Yawn…and isn’t this a SWEEPS month??? However, on a side note, I must give a thumbs-up to the performances of Judi Evans (Bonnie) as well as Ali Sweeny (Sami) for all the free-flowing tears.

AT THE HOSPITAL…Shawn wants to talk about telling Philip the truth, but Belle doesn’t want to talk about that right now and tells Shawn to table it for now. Rex is worried that there is something terribly wrong with Mimi as the doctor wants to talk privately with him. But before the doctor can spill the beans, Bonnie comes storming in demanding to know what Rex did to her baby and where she is. Rex tells her about finding her on the floor and Bonnie gets a clue, telling Rex she wants to talk to the doctor herself. Rex rejoins Belle and Shawn and they ask him what is wrong but he doesn’t know. He asks Belle if she knows anything. The doctor tells Bonnie that Mimi is suffering from a pelvic infection and Bonnie tells her about the abortion (which they already knew). In the ER, Mimi is having dreams of the baby (with Jan’s voice taunting her). As Rex demands that Belle tell him what she knows, the nurse tells Rex that Mimi is awake and asking for him. Shawn starts on Belle about Philip again and she tells him to leave her alone and stop trying to manipulate her. Rex goes to Mimi as she tells him she is so sorry. Bonnie gets upset and blames herself for Mimi’s condition, saying she pushed Mimi to have the abortion…it is what SHE wanted. She tells Bonnie that the infection could have some serious long term effects, but they just don’t know right now and urges Bonnie to go see her. The doctor is called away and Bonnie heads in to the ER. She runs in to Belle and they see Rex with Mimi as Bonnie breaks down. She and Belle go to the lobby. Belle tries to reassure her that Mimi will be okay and lets her know that she also knows about the abortion. She tells Bonnie that even though she suggested it, it was still Mimi’s decision. Bonnie is a total wreck and blames herself but tells Belle that Mimi is so lucky to have a friend like her. Mimi tells Rex that there is something she needs to tell him. Bonnie congratulates Belle on her wedding and talks about how it reminds her of the movies from the ‘40’s where they get married and the man goes off to war. She talks about when he comes back and will see each other across the airport and how romantic it will be. Of course this puts a guilt trip on Belle. She offers Belle a bit of advice…she says don’t let happen to her what happened to Mimi. Don’t let others interfere with her decisions…it will end up ruining her life. She hugs Belle and thanks her as she thinks she is now together enough to visit with Mimi. After she leaves, Shawn returns and suggests they go to the chapel and light a candle for Mimi. She tells him that she loves him and will do the right thing. In the ER, Mimi starts to tell all to Rex. Bonnie walks in and overhears part of it and prays that Mimi will be okay. Rex tells Mimi that there is nothing she could ever do or say to make him stop loving her.

DOWN ON THE DOCKS…Brady refuses to give John the drugs back as he begs. They struggle as cops see the commotion and yell out to them to freeze. They think that Brady was beating him up and then find the drugs and cuff them both. Brady tries to explain but they cut him off. John gives them his wallet and they immediately recognize his name, knowing that he works with the cops and ISA. He makes up a lie, telling him that he was working on a drug sting that went wrong and he called his son to come down there. They buy it and let them go.

AT THE HOTEL…Lucas is banging on Brandon’s door as Eugenia calls Kate to give her an update. Sami and Brandon had drifted back off to sleep and she wakes up and sees “Lucas” in bed with her, telling him to answer the door. Then she wakes up fully and realizes it is Brandon and panics. She jumps out of bed, knocking over the lamp. Lucas hears it, knowing someone is in there. Lucas continues to bang on the door as Eugenia gives Kate a play by play. Sami and Brandon are both confused at how they ended up together. He tells Sami to stay put, he will handle it, but she wants to hide. As he heads for the door (clad only in a low-riding sheet), she takes her only option…to dive under the covers. Brandon opens the door as Lucas barges in looking for Sami. Eugenia is practically drooling, telling Kate that Brandon only has a sheet on, wishing it would have dropped and/or she had one of those picture phones. Lucas yanks the covers off the bed and TADA…there is Sami. Lucas is furious as he rants around the room and tells Brandon he can have her. After Kate gets off the phone with Eugenia, she wishes Sami “good riddance” and pours herself a drink.

AT THE PENTHOUSE…Kate is enjoying her celebratory drink as Brady and John come in. Brady furious with both Kate and the nurse for letting him sneak out. He summons the nurse downstairs and fires her as Kate makes excuses. John says it is his own fault…not to blame them. But Kate is just afraid her cover will be blown. Brady chastises John for lying to the cops as well and explains that to Kate. Brady now thinks that this isn’t good enough…he is going to call Judge Fitzpatrick and have John forced into rehab as John erupts over this idea.

BACK AT THE HOTEL…Sami stops Lucas from leaving and tries to explain, saying it isn’t what it looks like. She says she loves LUCAS and was doing this for their future. She has no clue how they ended up in bed. But there is no fooling Lucas…he says he wanted to believe she had changed, but she is the same lying, manipulative person she has always been and he is sick of it. She pleads and begs with him and admits that she did come there to see Brandon, but to TALK. She tells him about her horoscope and wanted to make sure that Brandon would not interfere and ruin their wedding. (Insert a long flashback here of Sami talking to an asleep Brandon). Lucas tells her that he didn’t want to believe she was there and blames Brandon for taking advantage of her. Well, now he can HAVE her…they are NOT getting married as Sami is crying her eyes out. She tries to stop him, but he storms out, leaving her crying on the bed…as the previews show…

Roman (to Marlena): Oh my God Doc…something is being pumped in through that nozzle. (Marlena): It must be gas…

Maggie (to Hope): Billie and Patrick were arrested. (Hope): I am not going to let her get away with this…

Bo (to Billie): If you were tempted, you could have called me. (Billie, very sarcastically): And interrupt your romantic evening with Hope?…

Lucas (to Sami): They warned me, but I wouldn’t listen…I was too in love…that’s it Sami…I’m done…GOODBYE!…

Summary: Apparently it's Valentine's NIGHT already (?) as Maggie visits Hope, Lucas tells Sami off and leaves, Billie and Patrick draw a full house and Marlena and Roman fall into Tony's trap...

AT THE SALEM P.D....we find Billie babbling about how they should let her go. Jen rushes in and checks on Patrick. Bo's not far behind and when Billie demands he tell this jerk to let her go, Bo refuses and says she's not in any position to be calling her arresting officer a jerk. (you tell her Bo!) Patrick and Billie explain what happened and how she didn't know the guy was a cop and the punch was aimed at the gropper, not him. As far as she knew he was a friend of the groppers (he didn't identify himself either, not that I want to help Billie's case). Being they were already booked they still have to be arraigned, but Bo orders them uncuffed and will take the responsibility for them. Bo's upset that Patrick involved Jen and she involved Mickey, reminding Patrick his mother is married to Mickey and he could have called her directly. Billie takes responsibility for everything and Bo agrees with her on that, starting with she shouldn't have gone out drinking with Lockhart. Bo asks Patrick what happened and he says they went to the Cheatin' Heart as he thought it was a place Billie would like (and she agrees) and bought her a beer, big deal. Bo is shocked and Jen quietly tells Patrick about Billie's problem, but she understands he didn't know. Bo doesn't though, thinking Patrick had read Tony's file and knew what he was doing. Billie slurs at Bo that she doesn't need a big brother and was tired and stressed. He tells her she shouldn't have drank amd called him, but she knows he wouldn't have wanted her to interrupt his romantic evening with Hope, like she doesn't hate her enough already (got that right!) She says she called him out of panic and for him to go home to Hope. Jen and Billie support Patrick that this wasn't his fault. Billie doesn't like being treated like a kid and Jen tears into her to stop acting like one. (you go Jen) Mickey needs their addresses before the arraignment and Patrick says he's still living in Jenn's garage apartment. Billie said she was living with Jennifer too. Bo doesn't want her anywhere near Lockhart and said she'll be staying with him for a while (oh, that's downright IDIOTIC!!) as Billie turns and likes that idea (duh) After the arraignment (that we don't see) we find the charges weren't dropped. Mickey hopes to prove it was an accident, but if they're found guilty, facing jail time. Hope walks in.

AT THE CASTLE...Marlena's getting serious cabin fever, as is Roman. They both want to get home to their loved ones. Neither of them can forget the image of John and Kate in bed together out of their heads. They hear a noise and he sees a pipe blowing gas/smoke into the room. Roman gives Marlena a hanky and lifts her up and tells her to plug the pipe. She gets up there and something makes her smile. When she gets down, she tells Roman that Tony's pumping in the scent of roses and they remember it's Valentine's Day. Flashback of when he had her confined to her apartment and gave her roses one Valentine's Day. She told him she had something special for him too, a case of his favorite beer delivered. She had called Abe to have an off duty cop bring it up to her and he toasts her and drinks. Back to present time, the tv comes on and they see Kate in bed with John, dressed in Marlena's pj's stroking John's head. Marlena recognizes her pajamas and feels they've lost Kate and John forever. She remembers John promising to be her valentine forever and Roman reminds her he had promised the same thing to her years ago and she still is as they kiss.

AT THE PENTHOUSE...John's feeling guilty about Brady finding him on the pier the way he did and feels Kate shouldn't be with him as her son is getting married that day. She tells herself that's not a problem and gives John some OTC pills to help the pain. He accidentally spills the water on her and not having any more nightgowns, she grabs a pair of Marlena's red pj's out of her dresser drawer and goes to change into them. She returns in Marlena's black pj's with red hearts on them. He remembers Marlena in them when he gave them to her a few years ago for Valentine's Day. Kate apologizes and offers to change, but John says seeing her in them gives him good memories. Kate comforts John and tells him she's there for him as long as he needs her and wants her and kisses his forehead. (this last part Marlena and Roman are shown on Tony-TV).

AT THE BRADY HOME... We find Hope sleeping on the couch, dreaming of a happier moment with Bo when he told her his heart would always belong to her. A knock on the door awakens her, it's Maggie. Hope admits she woke her up, but that she had gotten up earlier to come downstairs to check on the fire and get something to eat and must have dozed off on the couch. She remembers Bo not being in bed when she got up, but saw his robe on the bed and figured he was in the shower. She thanks Maggie for he help with the perfect surprise earlier, saying the best part was having her husband home with her. Later Hope's made tea and Maggie reminds her it's hers and Mickey's anniversary (so, they went to bed on New Year's Day and woke up on Valentine's Day, LOL!) She tells Hope that Bonnie's planning a red beer Valentine's Day at the travesty that use to be Tuscany. She would like to do something to remind Mickey of all the wonderful times they've had together and needs Hope's help. Hope suggest that if Mickey is home alone (while Bonnie's at Alice's) that Maggie go home to be with him. Maggie says Mickey was called down to the Police Station by a client (later we learn Jennifer called Mickey, hard to believe he didn't mention that to Maggie). Maggie fills Hope in on how Mickey wants plantonic relationships until everything's resolved with her, Bonnie and him. Hope figures Maggie can make Mickey want to change that if she wants, but Maggie feels ill equipped to compete with Bonnie in that department as she flaps her jacket. Hope reminds her there's a difference beween sex and love. Maggie asks to borrow a good bottle of champagne from Hope, which surprises Hope being Maggie doesn't drink. Maggie explains she just thought it was effective in setting the mood when she helped Bo do their room, saying Bonnie doesn't buy anything that's not in a jug or long necked bottle and Mickey does love a good Mimosa. Hope smiles and offers a good bottle as their anniversary present to them. She wonders what's keeping Bo and contemplates taking him up a cup of tea when Mickey calls Maggie's cell and apologizes being late for their date (have we gone from morning to night already? This Salem time warp is soooo confusing) being he's at the police station. He explains what happened at the Cheatin' Heart and how he, Bo and Jennifer are now going to the arraignment with Patrick and Billie. Maggie confirms he said Bo and turns to tell Hope about the call. Hope asks Maggie to stay with Zack and goes upstairs to change to head to the cop shop saying she's not going to let Billie get away with this.

AT THE SALEM INN.. we return to Lucas telling Sami it's over. Finally Brandon speaks up and says he only remembers checking in and calling Lexie. He woke up finding Samantha lying by his side. Sami (standing wrapped in sheets) tells them why she came to the Inn and lied to a maid to let her in the room (flashback of her having to pay off Kate dressed as a maid). Lucas pulls the maid in and she denies letting Sami in and that she was the only maid assigned to that floor tonight. Brandon denies letting Sami in and only stayed at the Inn to avoid seeing Sami before her wedding. He explains he returned because of Abe going blind. He can't deny still having feelings for Samantha despite doing everything he could to stay out of their way though. Lucas rants he can have her then. He remembers what happened when he found her and Brandon in the car. He tells her how he was so committed and so in love with her, despite others warning him about her. He tells her he's done this time and good bye and leaves. Outside the room Lucas realizes maybe there is more to what's going on then it appears and it's too important not to look into.

Sami and Brandon talk about who could have set this up and Sami realizes it must have been Kate. .....as we see fire burning behind her face and the previews roll...

Brady stands over John's bed saying kids can't go punching their father's lights out like that. He wants John to punch him...John's fist tightens...

Brandon to Lexie: “Samantha's an innocent victim. Kate can't get away with something like that. She's got to be stopped.”

Lucas opens the door to Sami. “What are you doing here. You crazy or something?” We see her from the shoulders up in her wedding gown aparently and she tells Lucas “I just thought if you saw me in my dress you might have second thoughts about cancelling the wedding.” as we see Kate listening from around the corner...

Gloom, despair & misery continue to inhabit Salem as Maggie tries to remind Mickey of happier times, Lucas breaks the news about no wedding to a devastated Will, Lexie bad mouths Sami, & Brady tries to help John in his withdrawal agony.

AT THE PENTHOUSE John is in bed, reliving over and over and over the memory of Brady punching him. He moans about the kind of father he has become, wondering how he is going to get through this. Downstairs, Kate goes to answer the door (honestly, I thought she was wearing a nightgown, but it turned out to be a long satiny slip dress, I guess) to find Brady at the door. He has come to sit with John while Kate is off to the wedding. They discuss John a bit, with Brady wishing he would go into rehab. Kate leaves, to find Eugenia lurking outside the door. (wonder how Brady missed her?) Eugenia is dying to know what happened, but Kate has to pretend she knows nothing, and is going over to Lucas’ apt. to wish him well. Inside, Brady goes upstairs to John, and they talk of the altercation on the pier. Brady apologizes, saying no matter what, he should never have hit his father, and asks John to punch him back. John is reluctant, Brady insists, John makes a fist, but instead cradles Brady’s head, giving him a kiss. They hug. Brady tells him of all the research he has done on the internet, that John needs lots of support now, but John says the only person (Marlena) who could help him is gone. Later they are both downstairs having tea, Brady is trying to convince John that there he once loved someone else besides Marlena, and he could do it again. John says no, there will be no other great love in his life, Marlena was the last one. Brady insists that he could make a life with Kate.

BRANDON ARRIVES AT LEXIE’S, telling her what happened in his hotel room. She blames Sami, claiming Sami has been unable to get over Brandon, & has a thing for him. Brandon says no, & when he tells Lexie about getting the e-mail from her, she denies sending it. He tells her how Sami’s telephone psychic told her what hotel he was at…..& Lexie says even her mother could not do that. Brandon thinks he & Sami were set up, is determined to get to the bottom of things. They argue, but Brandon is adamant, and he leaves.

MICKEY ARRIVES HOME to find heart shaped balloons decorating the house, & Maggie in her bathrobe, welcoming him. He apologizes for not being able to keep their date last nite, but she says he may have missed the Valentine anniversary dinner, but instead will get the Valentine’s anniversary breakfast (wow, so it is NOW Feb. 15th morning! Gee, and Friday it was still the day after Belle’s New Year’s Eve wedding. Time flies when you are being miserable, huh? LOLOLOL) Mickey is overwhelmed, as he has nothing for her, but Maggie says all she wants is for Mickey to make her his wife again. She makes him a Mimosa, while pouring herself some orange juice, they twine hands in a toast, and sit down to eat. They talk of Bo & Hope, which makes Maggie sad, as everyone always said they have a perfect marriage – the same thing they used to say about Mickey & Maggie. She then tells him to close his eyes, he does, and when he opens them, Maggie has taken off the robe, and is decked out in a red outfit, looking absolutely smashing, (just like the Rockette Suzanne Rogers used to be). She puts her long leg up on his knee, showing him she is wearing her red shoes. She is all in red, with a red feather headdress, and even a sort of feather tail, long red gloves, rhinestone choker. She looks gorgeous, & could give any Las Vegas showgirl a run for money any time! She shows Mickey a scrapbook, pertaining to their marriage. They take a walk down memory lane, & are having a good time, when in walks a fit to be tied Bonnie. She has a fit, telling them their private date agreement was for last night, and that would have ended by 6 a.m. They argue a bit, but then she plays her “my Mimi is in the hospital” card, crying, while Mickey assures her he will see to it that Mimi gets the best of care. He goes to phone the hospital, giving Bonnie the chance to tell Maggie off. They argue big time, as Bonnie is determined to keep the Horton name. (O, do I wish some guy would come along to romance Maggie, & make Mickey get up off his duff, & realize she will not sit around forever while they all live “platonically”. Mickey returns, telling Bonnie he has made sure Mimi’s care will be the best. She hugs him, while Maggie smiles to herself, as she eats a big strawberry, dipped in whipped cream.

WILL IS EXCITEDLY GETTING DRESSED , urging Lucas to get moving. Lucas, sadly tells Will there will be no wedding, and explains about Sami going to Brandon’s last nite. Will is very upset, saying they will never be a family. Kate arrives, and puts on a big, sad act, as she hears the news. She offers to go talk to a very upset Will. Meanwhile, across the hall, Sami has been crying, has a couple of fantasies of being married to Lucas, with Kate trying to spoil things, and looks over her “something, old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” items, getting an idea. She dons the wedding dress and goes over to Lucas’s apt., all ready for their wedding. He thinks she has flipped. Kate is hiding and listening, (so much for caring about her grandson) as Sami tries to make Lucas understand that nothing happened, that she was set up, but Lucas will have none of it. He tells her that he & Will checked her horoscope, and it did not say what she claimed, but just the opposite, and shows her. Sami is shocked….not understanding how that could be. Lucas (very good scenes by Bryan Dattilo here) blows his stack, refusing to accept anything Sami says, and tells her to leave, pulling open the door. Oops, there’s Brandon. Lucas gets even more angry, but Brandon calmly tells him that he is quite sure that he & Sami had been set up, & says he figures it had to be Kate. This last causes Kate to come out from around the corner, and face them all. ………and the previews for the next day show…….

Kate: Not only is your fiancee’ a liar, she’s also a slut. Sami goes after her, with the guys pulling her back.

Philip: I’m well aware of the risks.
Lt.: When you get back to your wife, you want it to be alive, or in a body bag?

Belle to Mimi: I know how hard this is for you, but you have to tell Rex about the baby

Shawn to Rex: Being with Jan was the biggest mistake of my life. Jan (who walks in the ever open door): Shawn, how can you say such a terrible thing?

(Just an aside, but Jan is wearing a halter top dress, Kate is in the slip dress, Shawn is almost shirtless….do the writers understand this is the middle of winter? LOL & JMHO)

Summary: Mimi seems to go from bad to worse…Philip decides to take on a dangerous mission… An innocent Sami is caught in Kate’s web…as Eugenia celebrates.

AT THE HOSPITAL…Belle visits Mimi, who isn’t doing very well. Mimi talks about how she must tell Rex the truth. She also tells Belle about Jan knowing about the abortion and threatening her. She tells Belle that she has tried many times to tell him but can’t. Belle thinks she should tell him and that maybe he will understand. But Mimi is sure he won’t…Belle was right…she should have never done it. Belle says that Mimi was right as well and she should have never married Philip when she was still in love with Shawn. Belle gets a message on her PDA that the wedding is off and says she needs to call Sami and find out what is going on. The nurse brings Mimi her medication but after she takes it, she starts hearing Jan’s voice again and seeing the baby. She screams as Belle rushes back in. She tells Belle about seeing the baby and the nurse comes in as they try to calm her down. The nurse gives her a shot, knocking her out, but she continues to hear Jan’s voice, telling her that Rex is going to get rid of her just like she got rid of the baby. Later, Mimi is resting as Belle watches over her. She promises her that they will both be happy again someday.

SOMEWHERE OVERSEAS…Philip is talking to Belle’s photo when another guy (Jake) starts talking to him about her and how much he loves her. He tells him about a dangerous mission where they are looking for volunteers and that he may get a leave out of it if it is successful. Philip goes and talks to the commander and volunteers for the mission, saying he is qualified, even though it is dangerous. The commander asks him about his new wife and also asks him that when he goes home, does he want to be alive or in a body bag? He advises him to think it over. Later, he tells the commander that he is sure of it. He allows him to call Belle first. His friend Jake tries to talk him out of it, but he is determined. He calls Belle at the loft, but gets the machine. He decides to call Mimi to see if she knows where Belle is.

AT SHAWN’S PLACE…Shawn walks in to find Rex on the internet doing research, trying to figure out what is wrong with Mimi. They talk about how neither of them want to go to the wedding. (I never thought about it, but Rex mentions that both Sami and Lucas are his half siblings…lol). They talk about Shawn and Belle and how they are not respecting Philip. They argue about it some as Rex tells him he should stay away from Belle until Philip comes home. He says that Shawn broke Belle’s heart being with Jan. Shawn says that Jan was the biggest mistake of his life…just as she walks in to hear it. Rex leaves them alone as she plays hurt and then comes on to him. But he wants no part of it. He tells her that he has no feelings for her…it’s over…he does NOT love her. He says he don’t know how it all happened but he never intended to hurt her. Rex comes in and tells them that the wedding is off. Shawn goes to take a shower, with Jan following, offering to wash his back but he slams the bathroom door in her face, infuriating her. She curses Belle for all her troubles. Rex advises her to take a break, but she tells him that he doesn’t have a clue about himself and Mimi and tells him to ask Mimi what she did to him. As they argue, the phone is ringing (Philip calling) and Shawn comes in and answers it asking “Belle…is that you?”

EUGENIA…is at her place, reading the paper and talking to Dino (her dog). A delivery guy shows up with a huge goody basket, complete with champagne. She reads the note and it is from Kate, thanking her “partner in crime”. Margarete (the psychic) calls as Eugenia gives her a blow by blow of how everything went down. She keeps on gulping the champagne as her lips get looser (does she say too much?) as she dances around the room almost drunk, celebrating.

AT LUCAS’S PLACE…Sami tries to convince Lucas and Brandon that Kate set her up. Kate walks in telling him to throw them out. Lucas asks her if she had anything to do with it and she says, yes she is responsible. She back tracks, saying she is responsible Sami was found out, because she hired a PI. Sami is furious as she and Kate go at it verbally, with Kate calling her a slut. Sami pleads with Lucas to believe her and that Kate was behind it all. Kate tells her to grow up…she has only herself to blame. Sami swears she loves Lucas and tries to explain what happened. When she gets to the part where the maid let her in, she has a flashback and it hits her that it was KATE who was posing as the maid. Kate denies it, but Sami is sure of it. Kate changes gears, calling her the same old Sami, always blaming others and recounts some of the bad deeds she has done. Brandon says he can’t remember anything, so Kate says Sami probably drugged him…after all, that is what she did to Austin. Sami swears she didn’t and denies it all as she pleads with Lucas to believe her. Brandon pulls Kate aside and tells her about the PDA message from Lexie that Lexie didn’t send. Kate again shifts suspicion toward Sami, blaming her for that as well. Sami admits that she has done some bad things in her life that she regrets, but this time she is innocent. Kate tries to get her to just admit her guilt. But she keeps on declaring her innocence. Lucas tells her he is done listening…she hasn’t changed one bit. Sami says yes, these are all things that she WOULD have done as she cries and the previews show…

Brandon (to Kate): If you did set all this up, it’s going to blow up in your face…you will lose your son and your grandson…

Bo (to Hope): There is something I’ve got to tell you (as Billie walks in the room) Billie: I home I’m not interrupting…

Mimi (to Rex): We need to talk. Rex: Whatever it is, we will get through it together…

Philip (to Belle on the phone): There’s something really important I need to tell you. Belle: There’s something I need to tell you too…

As the sun shines outside in Salem (a rare occurrence of late) and the gals run around in their sundresses, Belle and Mimi realize they have to tell the truth; Philip calls home, Hope exercises amazing patience with Billie; and Sami continues to plead her case with Lucas. Will the 10,000 episode that Laney will write up tomorrow have a wedding in it? Stay tuned to find out.

BELLE, SHAWN, REX, MIMI, JAN AND PHILIP...
In her sundress, Belle continues to coach Mimi to tell Rex the truth. Mimi wishes she hadn't had the abortion. Belle admits she herself can't go on living a lie and needs to tell Philip the truth. She also confesses to having nightmares of Philip getting hurt in combat because of her. As Mimi lies in the hospital in pain, the conversation is of course about Shawn and Belle. Mimi knows Rex will be furious when he learns the truth, but she has to be the one to tell him the truth, not Jan. Both are afraid of what the truth will do to Philip and Rex. Rex walks in and tells Belle he wants her to be happy. She needs to tell Philip and tells her about Philip's earlier call and how he'll call her on her cellphone. Mimi speaks up saying which Belle can't have on in the hospital, understanding that Belle has to leave. Mimi tells Rex she's worried about maybe having to have surgery when the test results come back. She tells him they need to talk. She tells him it's time she told him everything.

A replay of Philip calling the guys loft and Shawn answering asking if it's Belle. Philip asks if Belle's there (well duh, obviously not) and when Shawn tells him no, says he wants him to stay away from Belle. Rex grabs the phone, explains Belle's at the hospital with Mimi and he's doing as promised trying to keep Shawn and Belle apart. Philip is called to go and they hang up. Shirtless Shawn finally puts on the sweatshirt he was hanging on his shoulder and is mad he didn't get to tell Philip the truth. Shawn tells Rex that Belle wants her cake and to eat it too. Shawn tells Jan he's tried to be a gentlemen but realizes he has to tell her bluntly to pack up and move out, he doesn't want her living there any more (about time!) Jan continues taunting Shawn and dissing Belle.

Knowing he can return to Belle after this mission is over and he was trained for this kind of mission (when , last fall when he was at the base?), Philip wants this suicide mission. Jake reminds him he has to stay focused or it could kill him. Philip's mind drifts off to returning to Belle and telling her he's home for good (I thought he'd just get a leave?). Jake shows him how doing that will get him killed. Philip tells him he'd walk through fire to be home with his bride and Jake tells him walking through gunfire just might do that, but wishes he hadn't said that. Philip can't wait to call Belle and tell her he's coming home to her.

Belle arrives at the guys loft (why did Philip call there instead of Belle's loft or cell?) and tells Shawn she heard about Philip's call earlier. Jan mouth starts and Shawn has had enough. He turns and tells her he's had it with her and she's got to leave and never come back. She turns, gets her purse and leaves. Out loud she says that witch hasn't won and to watch out Tinkerbelle. Belle tells Shawn she will tell Philip on the phone as soon as he calls back. Her cell rings and it's Philip. Philip is so happy she answered and has something important to tell her. She tells him she also has some important news.

AT THE BRADY HOME...
Hope remembers her argument with Bo when she tore into him saying how furious she was that he left her in bed and went down to the police station to rescue Billie, again. He tries to explain how Detective Jenkins was the one who called and they started arguing about Billie. She refuses to talk any more and tells him he's sleeping on the couch and tosses a pillow and blanket down to him on the stairs. Back to present, he walks in the front door as she's folding up the blanket. He tells her Sami's wedding was cancelled and she's not surprised. She tells him she missed him in bed last night and he says the couch was uncomfortable and he missed her too. They hug and she tries to rationalize that she wouldn't force anyone he didn't like in HIS life, and despite his history with Billie, he shouldn't do it to her either. She will love Georgia as she's a part of him, but they don't need Billie front and center, hauling him off at every whim. They hug as Billie walks out of the kitchen drinking coffee, hoping she's not interrupting anything. Bo explains why Billie's there and how he tried to tell Hope the night before, but she wouldn't listen. Hope turns and counts to 10 as Billie gives Bo a silly smile (slap). Billie pipes up that this wasn't a good idea and is going upstairs to change and leave. Hope agrees and Bo tells her that Billie was trying to call her mother and find a place to stay. He said Billie spent the night in the guest room (guess it's an alternative to the couch if no one else is there, huh Bo?) and heads up to take a shower as Hope starts counting to 10 again.

The next scene is pure ridiculous in my opinion. Naked, Bo turns on the shower and waits for the water to get hot. He turns around and there's naked Billie, who just stands there wearing nothing but a smirk. Hope opens the door and finds them both standing there and starts counting as Billie holds her hands over her chest while Bo stands there. (obviously Bo would use the master bath and Billie should use the hall bathroom..dumb dumb)

AT LUCAS' APARTMENT..
Sami continues trying to explain what she didn't do and Lucas doesn't buy it. She admits what happened are things she might have done in the past, but didn't do them this time. That's why Kate set it up like that, to frame her. She speculates exactly what happened to Lucas who said that's impossible, but Sami tells him she knows she only went to see Brandon and that's how it must have happened. Lucas doesn't believe her and remembers all the things she's done in the past. Kate mentions how Sami had drugged Austin to sleep with him too and that convinces Brandon she did do it. Sami breaks down saying for once in her life she's telling the truth and leaves. Lucas walks out of the room and Brandon confronts Kate, saying she did do it, didn't she? (Sami should have asked for a blood test to prove she had something in her system, just in case it's still there) Kate denies doing anything but isn't upset by the way it turned out. Brandon's social work comes out as he rationalizes how Samantha was changing and turning her life around, just as his sister and Billie did. Calmly he warns her that she'll lose her son and grandson if Lucas ever learns the truth. Sami will make sure of it. Lucas returns and Kate's thankful he's not like gullible Brandon. Sami returns saying she's through trying to defend herself. If he doesn't believe anything else, just know that she loves him and loves him with all her heart. The only thing she ever wants is to be his wife. Lucas tells her he loves her and does want to marry her. She launches into his arms crying, saying how happy she is as Kate's worried face freezes on the screen

as the previews roll...

Hope tells Bo that she wants Billie out of this house and out of their lives for good!

Rex tells the doctor they have good news, that he and Mimi are going to get married and start a family. The doctor says that's wonderful as Mimi finishes she has some news that's not so good, right?

Sami tells Lucas she knew that this was one wedding that couldn't be stopped..

as Shawn prompts Belle what to say, Philip can hear someone else is there and asks if it's Shawn...

Summary: Days of Our Lives celebrates their 10,000th episode with a welcome introduction and final words from Frances Reid, the remaining original cast member…Sami continues to plead her case to Lucas…Belle cannot bear to tell Philip the news…Rex asks Mimi a question…and Billie goes before a special judge and in the end screws Hope over…one more time.

The show opens with a special welcome from Frances Reid introducing the 10,000th episode including a clip of her and Tom in their living room from the first (black and white) episode. She then thanks everyone for welcoming them into their homes. She looks at a picture of Bo and Hope as the scene shifts to their living room…

AT THE BRADY HOUSE…Billie has flashbacks of walking in on a naked Bo as he and Hope come downstairs, Hope clearly still angry with him. Billie excuses herself to the kitchen as Hope lays down the law, telling him she wants Billie out of their house and their lives starting today. Bo feels obligated to her because of Georgia, but Hope still isn’t even sure she is alive. Bo admits that bringing Billie there was a mistake and Hope thinks Billie planned it all along. Billie returns and says they should get going. Hope isn’t to happy to learn that Bo is taking her to the hearing, but she couldn’t find Kate. They talk about the wedding being called off as Hope says that with women like Sami, they are a disaster waiting to happen and they get what they deserve as she cuts Billie the evil eye.

We next see Bo and Billie at the courthouse meeting up with Mickey. He tells them that they got a tough judge (Shay) and tells them about how his family started this town and this won’t be easy. Billie thinks she is doomed and worries. Judge Shay arrives (Executive Producer Ted Corday) and Bo is almost immediately calls Bo out of order. He orders her back into custody since her mother is not there to vouch for her and provide a place for her to stay. Mickey asks for a recess and tells Billie she needs to find her mother or make some arrangements for somewhere to stay. She turns to Bo and begs him to vouch for her…for Georgia’s sake…as he squirms in his seat.

Meanwhile, Jen has come over to see Hope as they talk about Billie finally being out of their lives. Jen gets a call from Alice, who is terribly worried about Lucas. After she gets off the phone, they talk about Sami and then the conversation moves toward Billie. Hope talks about how happy she will be to get her out of their lives. Later, Bo returns home as Jen goes to leave. Hope asks how it went and Bo says not too well. He tells her that they couldn’t find Kate and as he talks, Hope gets worried. She finally asks “WHERE is Billie?” as he opens the door and she walks in smiling.

AT THE HOSPITAL…Mimi finally tells Rex the truth, that she was pregnant and had an abortion and she begs him to forgive her. Oh no, never mind…it is just a daydream. Back in real time, he tells her that he needs to say something and gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. He pulls out a ring as he explains it is an antique that is 100 years old. The inscription reads “2-14-05 M&R Forever” Both of them are amazed that it belonged to another R&M from 1905. She loves it and says of course she will marry him as he slips it on her finger. She asks him if he is sure and he says yes, he loves her. He talks about how Jan keeps hinting around about Mimi lying to him, but says she is just bitter about losing Shawn. He can hardly wait to say I DO, but Mimi hopes he will feel that way when he learns the truth. She tells him there is something she needs to tell him as the doctor comes in. He tells her that they are engaged and cannot wait to get married and start a family. The doctor’s face falls and Mimi says you have news don’t you?…and it’s not good.

AT SHAWN’S LOFT…Belle tells Shawn she is going to tell Philip the truth when he calls. On cue, he calls and she tells him that she needs to tell him something, but he tells her that he is coming back home soon. She doesn’t understand and he tells her not to worry. She is talking to Shawn as Philip asks her who is there. Shawn is urging her to tell Philip the truth. Belle asks Philip for an explanation and he tells her that he has a special assignment and then will get to come home. She realizes that he has volunteered for something dangerous and then she can’t tell him about her and Shawn. Shawn continues to push her to just tell him. She starts, but Philip’s commander tells him it’s time to go. He tells her that he has to go but will be home to her soon. He cuts her off and tells her goodbye. When she gets off the phone, Shawn asks where does that leave them?

AT LUCAS’S…There is a replay of Sami telling Lucas that she loves him and wants to marry him. Lucas says he still loves her as well and wants to marry her and she jumps into her arms. She excitedly babbles on as he stops her, telling her that they can’t. Sami doesn’t understand as he explains that he WANTS to marry her, but can’t. Sami continues to blame Kate, but Lucas is confused. Sami asks what if she can PROVE that Kate set her up? She says that Kate has hated her and been against her from the beginning and how mean she is to her when Lucas isn’t around. But Lucas isn’t convinced that Kate could be responsible. He says that Sami needs to take responsibility for her own actions…such as going to the motel to see Brandon in the first place. He asks HOW could Kate have known where Brandon was staying…when he didn’t even tell Lexie. Sami suggests that Kate must be in cahoots with her psychic but everyone thinks it is all too far-fetched. Sami begs Brandon to back her up, but now even he has doubts over her story. He says that even though it seems like a set up, there is no proof. Kate pipes in (turning on the tears) about Sami blaming her. She says she was at John’s all night…just ask him, Brady or the nurse. Lucas says she went to see Brandon and that was her own fault. She begs him not to throw away their dreams and for another chance. He tells her that it’s too late, there is no turning back. He pulls out their marriage license and rips it up, saying they are not getting married today…not ever…as Sami cries…

With Sami’s tear stained face on the screen, it cuts back to Frances Reid in the Horton living room. She says Poor Sami…her troubles are just beginning. You may ask, what ELSE could happen to her?…or to any of us? Stay tuned and find out as we begin our next 10,000 episodes tomorrow. Goodbye and bless you…the camera pans over the table covered with pictures of current cast members…I remember seeing Abe and Lexie, Julie and Doug, Bo and Shawn, Jack and Jen, John and Marlena among others. The camera stops on a picture of Tom and Alice as the camera moves back to Frances looking down on the photos…as the previews show…

Sami: Kate, I am begging you…tell them what you did to me. Kate: Sami’s right…

Bo (to Hope): Do you really think that you are going to lose me to Billie?…

Jen: If I were Hope, I wouldn’t trust Billie either…(just as Billie walks up behind her)…

Summary: Sami continues trying to convince Lucas and Will she's innocent, Hope and Bo (where is Zach, that kids sure sleeps a lot) talk about Billie and Patrick; Jack fantasizes about what he'll find when he returns; and Mimi worries about what will happen with Rex and what they'll find when they do exploratory surgery. Kudos to Ali Sweeney for her heartbreaking performance this week.

MIMI'S HOSPITAL ROOM...
The doctor tells Rex and Mimi that the antibiotics aren't helping her infection and they need to do an exploratory lapraoscopy to look inside and see her uterus and fallopian tubes. They just need to sedate her, make a small incision and see with a small camera where the problem is. Mimi's concerned as her grandmother died of uterine cancer. The doctor says no tests have indicated that at all and after the doctor asked to speak with Mimi privately, says it might have to do with the abortion. Mimi feels guilty and tells the doctor she has to tell Rex everything before they get married and feels like she's being punished for what she did. Mimi knows that Rex will freak when he finds out. Rex hears that last part and asks about what. Mimi tells him she should have come in earlier when she starting having flu time symptoms and might have made the situation worse, but she didn't have health insurance and didn't. The doctor agrees that many younger folks believe they don't need health insurance because their young and that's not true. Rex asks if Mimi's problem could be life threatening. The doctor says no and excuses herself. Rex feels all will be well and he can't wait to be married and have children with her. (under the current circumstances, it's not something he should keep repeating..what if the infection causes her to not be able to have kids, genius?) Mimi pictures a baby in her mind and a voice saying why should she be able to have a second chance? He tells her not to be scared and he'll be with her every step of the way. He leans over and hugs her.

DEVERAUX HOME..
Jennifer returns home and Patrick gives her the 411 on Abby (still in school) and Jack's still napping. He tells her he may be facing jail time (what did HE do that was that bad?). Jen tells Patrick about the Bo/Billie naked incident. He defends Billie and she tells him Jack also stood by Billie. She can't understand how Billie hypnotizes men with her acts. Patrick asks what act and continues defending her as Jen rationalizes knowing Billie for a long time. Jen knows Hope is being really smart to stand firm and if Patrick were wise, he'd do the same as far as Billie is concerned. Patrick asks if Jen is jealous of Billie. Patrick admits he is like Jack, has a weakness for beautiful women. Jen says if she were Hope, she wouldn't trust Billie either. Billie walks in overhearing and slams the door. Jen admits siding with Hope on what's going on and tells Billie she heard about the bathroom incident that morning. Billie laughs, saying it was innocent stuff as Patrick and Jen stare at her. She goes up to get her things and Jen senses that Billie IS happy to disrupt Bo and Hope's life.

BRADY HOME..
Bo tells Hope what happened at the courthouse. Billie goes to leave and Bo stops her, telling Hope that Billie can't go anywhere. (there are murderers out on bail who have more rights then she does for just hitting a cop who didn't identify himself in the first place..give me a break!) Billie yaks about trying to find her mom and will be out of their hair by tonight. She's going to stay out of site until then. Alone in the kitchen, Hope tears into Bo. He says he was put on the spot and had to make an instantaneous decision. He couldn't have let Billie go to jail could he. Hope's rely “Yes, that's exactly what you should have done.” Billie overhears this from the other side of the kitchen door (that's what you get for eavesdropping!) and walks out, not slamming the door, but not quietly closing it either. Bo hears and after seeing she's gone, tells Hope it will be all HER fault if Billie gets in trouble now. He wants to go make sure Billie's okay and Hope stops him from continuing to do that as they argue about Billie and Patrick. She gives him a reality check that Billie's a grown woman and could have turned down a drink. It wasn't Patrick's fault and confirms that Patrick's done nothing but be supportive to Jen. Bo realizes that Hope is worried about losing him to Billie. He hugs her from behind and assures her she's never going to lose him. Hope agrees Billie can stay IF she has no other option. He asks if he has to sleep on the couch again tonight and she smiles (probably thinking she's keeping him in bed where she knows where he is and Billie can't get to him ;-) Yup, she pretty much says the same thing, only adding she's putting a cow bell on his foot so he can't sleep walk.

LUCAS' APARTMENT..
Back to Sami's marathon beg fest (Billie's been to court and back, LOL) as Sami continues to plead with Lucas. (notice how she's pleading that they can get married and become a family as the camera pans away and you can see she's very pregnant in her wedding gown ;-) Will comes out and tells her to give it up and how she really blew it this time. Sami insists she's innocent and Brandon tells Will they don't know how they got there together. Lucas figures it's the champagne that fuzzed their memories. Sami tells Will she wouldn't lie to him and he fires back with she has before many times. Will said he and Dad have given her so many chances before. All he wanted was the 3 of them together and now it's never going to happen. Lucas tells his buddy he'll always be there for him and Sami does too. Brandon tells Kate to see what she's doing to her grandson. Sami pleads and begs with Kate to tell them the truth. Kate says, Sami's right. We return later to have Kate use her tears and tell Will that Sami's trying to put the blame on her and she didn't do anything. Lucas takes Will aside and after seeing how upset Will is, leaves when Lucas asks her nicely to. Sami wants Will to go with her, but he wants to stay with his dad. Sami walks out and Brandon does next after apologizing for whatever happened, hoping that Lucas and Sami had a chance together. Kate tells herself that she's sorry that Lucas is hurting now, but promises to never let Sami Brady ever hurt him again. Later Lucas leaves Will alone in his room per his request and admits to Kate he's not doing much better then Will. Kate apologizes for how hurt he is. Lucas knows Sami has a history of things like this, but a part of him feels that Kate is involved. If he finds that she is involved, she will be DEAD to him and she will lose a son.

POOR JACK...
Jack rants as the captain tells him they had to change course for South America due to a storm. As the captain puffs on his cigar he reminds Jack he likes his clothes lightly starched and ironed (pretty persnickety for a fishing boat) and to change his attitude being he doesn't have a passport. Remembering watching Phoenix TV of Patrick leading Jen into Belle and Philip's wedding, he realizes he has to get home before it's too late. As he washes and rinses he fantasizes returning home (still dirty, wearing his bandana and fishing duds, LOL) to see Patrick snuggling Jen from behind and Jen enjoying it, feeling safe. They turn and kiss as Jack shouts NO, and comes back to reality no doubt rubbing holes in the clothes he's washing. While ironing he pictures Patrick calming a crying Jack and the baby calls him da da, his first word. He walks in saying he's Jack Junior's father, not Patrick and Jen faints. Patrick catches her and Jack asks him what he's doing and to take his hands off his wife (was waiting to see her go kerplunk on the floor, but scene fades out ;-)

Jack next imagines holding Jen and learning she never got his phone message that he's alive and coming home to her. He accuses Patrick of erasing it. Patrick denies it, but Jack asks Jennifer to choose between them. She hugs him and tells him there's no question he's the one she loves and wants, he's her husband. She thought she had lost him for good. The baby cries and she leans down to pick him up as Jack tells Patrick he's not welcome there any more. Patrick says he loves Jennifer too and not giving up on her. They're more then just friends now. He thinks Jennifer will choose him. Back to reality the captain comes in, compliments Jack on his work and tells Jack they're back on course for the U.S., in fact, not far from Salem (which we've all been told is in the midwest and probably near Chicago?).

SAMI..
Brandon helps Sami unlock her apartment door. They talk in the hall as Sami realizes how much work went into Kate's planning to do that. Brandon offers to help Sami find the proof she needs, but Sami realizes she has to keep her distance from him and hopes he understands if she doesn't invite him in. She thanks him and he walks away. She goes into her apartment and picks up their wedding invitation and rips it up while bursting into tears while clutching her rose bouquet.

Later after changing into a blue top, combing her hair into a pony tail (but still wearing the pearls Will and Lucas gave her, Sami picks up all the torn papers and vows to prove that Kate set her up. She, Lucas and Will will finally be a family and Kate will be out of their lives. Kate will live the life of a miserable old woman who will never get to see her son and grandson. Grabbing her coat, she leaves...as the previews roll...

Shawn to Belle: “You love me yet you're trying to hold onto your marriage with Philip. Are you still in love with him?” Belle nods yes.

Kate to Billie: “I'm here for whatever you need. Besides, you have Bo to help you search”. Billie's response: “Not any more.”

As Sami lurks outside John's bedroom door, Brady asks John: “she wouldn't know anything about your drug using situation, does she?” John, lying in bed, nods no. Sami says they're wrong about that.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23RD, 2005

Hmm, this episode was filmed a week before Episode 10,000! Kate continues doing her utmost to interfere in her children’s lives, as Sami tries to get family members to help her prove that Kate sabotaged her wedding.

BILLIE IS ON THE PIER, remembering the conversations about her she overheard between Bo/Hope and Jennifer/Patrick. She runs into Sami, & they have a few words about Kate. Billie asks why the wedding was called off, Sami explains about Lucas finding her & Brandon naked in bed, Billie smirks. Sami vows to get even with Kate, telling Billie to give that warning to her mom.

OVER AT BASIC BLACK Kate is on the phone, dealing with the fallout from the cancelled wedding. She is soothing advertisers about the wedding pictures promising to still feature the ads, then arranging for the catered food to go to a homeless shelter. She wonders if John knows, and calls him, with Brady answering the phone. Kate delights in telling Brady all the juicy details of why Lucas called off the wedding. She then has her assistant cancel the musicians. In walks Billie, who tries baiting her mom, but Kate puts on her big act. They then talk about the search for Georgia, & Billie finally tells her mom about being arrested, having to stay at Bo’s, & how Hope walked in on the two of them naked in the bathroom. Billie claims she forgot to lock the door. (Yeah, right, and there is this bridge in Brooklyn you might want to buy from me, too).
Kate urges Billie to go after Bo, and drones on and on and on about it. Billie claims she doesn’t want to come between Bo & Hope, then asks Kate if she can stay with her. Tsk, Tsk, Kate is so sorry, but she is having her suite redone while she is staying at the penthouse, and oh, is sorry again, as she put Roman’s house up for sale, and the realtor wants it to be vacant. No room for you anywhere, Billie. (wait a sec, didn’t the penthouse have at least 3 bedrooms upstairs -Brady’s, Belle’s & the master bedroom – plus at least one downstairs where Brady stayed when he was in the wheelchair? Now there’s no extra space there, huh?) Billie wonders if perhaps she can stay with Lucas, but Kate insists that she return to Bo’s & stay with him…..after all, it’s only for a few days.
Billie leaves, & Kate immediately calls her hotel manager, telling him that she wants her suite redone ASAP….new paint, wallpaper, etc. She then calls a real estate agent, telling him she has decided to put Roman’s house on the market…and it is vacant and will remain so.

AT THE PENTHOUSE John thanks Brady for the tray of food he has brought in, saying he finally feels like perhaps he could eat something. Brady starts yakking to John about getting a woman in his life – namely Kate, but John says they are just friends. He says he was lucky enough to have two great loves in his life (Isabella & Marlena) & doesn’t want to try for a 3rd. Brady answers the phone when Kate calls, then tells John about the cancelled wedding. They diss Sami a bit, and guess who walks in? (wonder how she got into the apt.) Sami & Brady argue a bit, but Sami ignores the fact John has the “flu” and begs him to help her get Kate to confess to what she did. She tells him she is the closest thing she has left of family, and her mother would want him to help her. She tells him that he can threaten Kate, she will cave and admit how she set Sami up. John says he cannot help her now, maybe later, when he feels better. She leaves, & Brady asks John why Sami acted so odd when they mentioned the flu, & wonders if perhaps she knows about his drug problem. John says no….but Sami is listening outside the door, remembers seeing John shoot up, and tells herself that she knows John is a junkie, and junkies must be punished. Inside, John is blaming himself for Marlena’s death, saying it was his fault, cuz he was injured, and she was strapping him onto the raft, since he was paralyzed, instead of herself. Thus she lost her life. He worries about Sami, saying that it is true what she said, Marlena would want him to help her.

AT HER LOFT Belle is packing up her wedding dress, remembering her conversation with Philip on the phone. Shawn arrives, & she tells him they cannot be together until she can tell Philip in person. They argue, Belle cries, Shawn comforts her, urging her to just take off her wedding ring, but she refuses. She goes on about the vows before God, yada, yada…..we have heard this all before. Shawn tells her he knows Jan has to be responsible for their breakup, saying he gets flashes of memory…and when he can put it all together, they will know exactly what happened, and he is sure Jan is to blame. Sami comes barging in, telling Belle she has to help her. She explains about Lucas calling off the wedding and why, and wants Belle to call John, & tell him to help Sami, and get Kate to confess to what she did. Belle says no, Sami gets upset and leaves. Shawn puts his arms around Belle, just as Sami dashes back in, having forgotten her purse. She chastises the couple, then leaves again. Out in the hall, she tells herself that she hates Kate, she hates Brady, she hates John, & she hates Shawn & Belle. She gets in the elevator, the door begin to close, as Sami says (reminded me so much of Scarlett O’Hara, lol) As God is my witness, they will all pay for what they have done to me……and the previews show…….

Bo giving Zack a bath, saying “I love you, and Shawn, and your mom, & there’s someone else I love”, as Hope stands in the doorway behind him, listening.

Billie to Lucas: Do you really believe Mom would set Sami up?

Kate to Sami: We need to discuss your future at Basic Black. It’s not looking too bright for you, Sami

Nancy tells Nicole: No, don’t go in there, as a bandaged up Chloe listens. Nicole barges into the room, and says, Oh, my God. And the credits roll…….

Summary: Kate continues to tighten the knot around Sami’s neck…Bo plans a special evening for Hope…Nancy continues to try to convince Chloe to contact Brady…as Nicole visits the clinic…Will moves out of Sami’s place.

AT THE CLINIC…Nancy is on the phone with Craig (and yes, he is seen on the other end) as Chloe is working with Clara on her singing. Nancy fills him in on what is going on and has an idea to get Brady and Chloe back together. Nicole is also at the clinic to visit Clara and learns that she is in with another patient, so she goes to visit them. Meanwhile, as she is talking with Clara, Chloe has flashbacks of her and Brady (singing “It Takes Two”). Clara realizes there is someone special in Chloe’s life and urges her to call him. Craig asks Nancy not to call Brady and she promises, but after she hangs up, she uncrosses her fingers and says sometimes mother knows best. Nancy goes back to Chloe’s room as Clara leaves for bed. She starts in on Chloe about calling Brady again but she says she isn’t ready. Nicole arrives outside the room and walks in and says oh my God. She is shocked to see Nancy there (Chloe somehow went into another room and is hiding behind the door). She asks why Nancy is there and she explains that her father started that clinic and she is there volunteering and even living nearby part-time with her parents. She talks about how she and Craig miss Brady and they felt he was a part of their family. She questions Nicole about their relationship as Chloe listens. Nicole wants to go and see the other patient and reaches for the door but Nancy snaps NO at her.

AT THE BRADY HOUSE…Hope is returning home from the spa visit Bo arranged. Upstairs, Bo is giving Zack his bath and talking to him as Hope walks up and overhears him saying that he loves him and Mommy but there is someone else he loves too. This of course brings Hope to tears, but then Bo goes on to say that person is named Georgia. He tells him that Georgia’s mother can never compare to his mom and asks how he would like to have a big sis
