Summary: Brady recovers at the clinic as Chloe realizes he loves her…and Billie is determined to search for Georgia. But the main even here is the wedding from hell…as everyone watches in horror…including the mother of the bride.

AT THE CLINIC…Chloe listens from behind the curtain as Brady talks about her to the doctor. He goes to get out his picture of Chloe, but Nicole returns, telling him that she called Belle and explained what happened. He wants to go be there for the wedding, but Nicole reasons with him, telling him if he feels better, they will make the reception. Nicole says she loves him, but he continues to talk about Chloe. He tells her to go and call and make arrangements for a car to pick them up. She leaves, telling him to rest. After she leaves, Chloe wonders if Nicole really loves Brady, for she realizes that he still love her. As he sleeps, he dreams of marrying Chloe. She slips from behind the curtain (as he is mumbling her name) and places her hand on his head. Finally, she bends down and kisses him. He opens his eyes and says “Chloe”.

ON THE PLANE…Billie is trying to hurry the pilot up when Bo arrives, telling her NO. She is furious with him but he is also angry at her for lying to him. She says that Bo has other children and she doesn’t. Georgia is all she has and is determined to find her. 16 years is too long to have been separated. She goes to see the pilot and he finds the tape recorder she was using. He plays back the message she recorded for her daughter. In it she tells her that she loves her and that she also has a wonderful father, Bo Brady. She talks about how she was conceived out of love and about how much she loved him and she knows that Georgia will too. She tells her that if something should happen to her, she will always be there watching over her. Billie comes back, telling him they are leaving and for him to get off the plane. But he says no, he’s not going home…he is going with her. She protests, saying Hope will be angry, but he says that Georgia is his family too…Hope will understand…eventually. Billie gives a little half-smile.

AT THE CHURCH…it starts a little differently, the wedding hasn’t begun yet. There are still guests arriving, including Doug and Julie. They, along with most of the guests, wonder why Belle is marrying Philip. The wedding planner tells Kate that she just got a call from some girl named Jan, telling her that Shawn may try to stop the wedding. Kate tells the guard outside not to let anyone else in the church…there will be NO interruptions. Well right after that order, Sami and Lucas arrive and he stops them. Sami blames Kate (and yes, she calls her “Mommy Dearest”) for not letting them in. Inside, Mimi tells Belle that there is still time to change her mind, but she tells her no, she is marrying Philip. With that, Mimi heads on down the aisle, followed by John and Belle…as all eyes are on them. Meanwhile, Shawn is on his motorcycle, headed to the church, determined to stop the wedding. Belle stalls for a moment, having flashbacks of making love with Shawn. Everyone watches as Belle takes a moment, fingering the locket around her neck.

At the DiMera castle, Tony (dressed in a tux) visits Marlena and Roman. Marlena is shocked to learn that Belle is marrying Philip. Tony asks if they want to watch and of course she does. He turns on a monitor as Marlena cries when she sees Belle. She is also thrilled to see John walking. She notes that Belle is beautiful, but she doesn’t look happy.

Belle is finally ready to proceed and the wedding march starts again. As they head down the aisle, one of the photographers bumps into John and he falls. Marlena sees this and gasps, telling Tony she hates him. She wishes she were there to help John, but Tony assures her that Kate is there to “comfort” him. We see Kate rush to him and help him up as Tony rubs it in, asking just how long it will be before John and Kate get married. He has a cart wheeled in with candles and champagne, asking if they want to make a toast to Belle and Philip…as well as John and Kate…as both glare at him. Marlena cries as she leans on Roman. She talks about how she sees no joy in Belle’s eyes and wishes she had been there for her. Tony continues to taunt them. Roman tries to punch him, but is stopped. Tony continues to taunt them about Kate and John.

Kate announces to everyone that there will be a short delay as Lexie tries to convince John not to go through with it, but he is determined. Kate tries to get him to use the wheelchair, but he will have none of it. Outside, the Marines arrive right after Sami and Lucas, so he relents and lets them all in. Kate warns Sami not to try anything. Hope talks to Julie about John’s stubbornness as they laugh saying all men are like that. Hope says she practically had to chain Bo to the bed…he isn’t going anywhere tonight. Celeste tells Abe that she keeps having horrible images about the wedding and that there will be many hearts broken tonight. After learning what is going on, Sami comments to Lucas that maybe Belle’s perfect wedding isn’t going to be so perfect after all. Sami wanders over to where Lexie is working on John and watches and listens. Lexie notices John’s glassy eyes and asks if he is on any medication. He lies, telling her only aspirin. After Lexie walks off, John takes out the syringe and gives himself an injection. Sami sees all this and with a shocked face, says to herself, John is a junkie! Meanwhile, Shawn arrives outside the church but is stopped by the guard. He staggers off, saying he must stop the wedding. Lexie tells Abe that John is pushing himself too hard as Celeste continues to have visions…of a bloody wedding gown and bloody roses. Hope talks with Alice and Julie as Alice tells them that Shawn knew about the wedding and how upset he was when he saw the invitation. Doug refers to Shawn as a Bozo for not marrying the love of his life. Alice says his name and gives him a look as Doug realizes her meaning. He kisses Julie, saying at least he wised up…eventually…and kisses Julie. Julie tells them that Belle is marrying the wrong guy…and everyone there knows it. Shawn is beating on the door, yelling for Belle not to do it. John is ready now as he and Belle prepare for “take 2” and they start again. They head down the aisle (the Marines now involved in the procession) and John gives her away as Kate helps him to his seat and sits beside him. The ceremony starts and when they get to the “forever hold your peace” part, John and Kate both eye Sami. She is prepared to say something but Lucas holds her back. Belle and Philip repeat the vows the wrote for each other, with both of them including parts about how they have been friends for ever and grew to love each other. She says he is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with, but when she looks at him, she sees Shawn. Outside, Shawn gets on his bike and fires it up, having an idea. Celeste is still having visions and to herself says “the nightmare is beginning”. The ceremony continues with the lighting of the unity candle with lots of shots of the guests…some smiling, some not. Shawn says this is the only way…and takes off. Inside the church, everyone hears his bike revving up and start looking around with puzzled looks on their faces. Kate says “Oh no…he wouldn’t” Then we see a shot from the other end of the church as Shawn comes flying through the stained glass window above Belle and Philip. Everyone is scrambling around to take cover from the flying glass as it freezes on Shawn’s face..and the previews show…

Billie (to Bo): Enough already…I know how you feel about me. Bo: Damn it Billie, don’t know I am only doing this because I love you?…

Sami (on the phone): It’s my fault because Shawn crashed Belle’s wedding…

We see quick flashes of guests with lots of screaming and pandemonium, with John cradling Belle in his arms…

Marlena is crying “It can’t be my little girl…it can’t be my little girl”…

As the credits roll…

Summary: Bo and Billie argue on the plane as Brady thinks he sees Chloe at the clinic. Roman and Marlena watch in horror at what's happening at St. Lukes as Jack escapes. The injured at St. Lukes are taken to the hospital. (yawn)

AT THE CLINIC...Nicole calls for a ride for her and Brady. Reminding herself that being Chloe's gone, she figures there's nothing in her and Brady's way. Chloe kisses Brady and he wakes up seeing her near the curtain in the shadows. The doctor stops Nicole from entering his room, giving Chloe more time to decide what to do. She tells Nicole just to make sure Brady takes it easy and doesn't overdo it..

Chloe remembers Nancy's telling her that people that love her don't care what she looks like, only that she's alive. Brady continues asking her to come closer, knowing she couldn't have died. She walks toward him as he wants to see her beautiful face. She rushes back to the curtain and croaks she's sorry, she can't. He closes his eyes saying he needs her in his life and loves her. Nicole walks in to hear him saying he needs her in his life and kisses him. He tells Nicole he thought she was Chloe and that she was just there. Nicole pulls open the curtain saying no one is there and voila..there she is. But no, it's the doctor...telling him it's normal with his type of head injury to see things and to consult his own doctor in the morning. They're free to go when they're ready. Nicole goes to see if the car service she called is there and steps out as she moans about how she's going to get Chloe off his mind.

MARLENA AND ROMAN watch in horror as Shawn drives his motorcycle through the stain glass window and glass flies. We see blood on Belle's gown as she collapses to the ground. Philip sees this and rushes to her, only to be hit by a falling chandelier. Kate rushes to Philip, who's unconscious with a gash on his forehead, Hope to Shawn, who comes to and John to Belle. He cradles her in his arms as Lexie warns him she might have severed an artery. Belle wakes up to find John telling her he can't lose her too, tells him she loves him and passes out again.

Sami and Mimi watch while Sami tells Belle she can't leave them. Philip comes to and Rex and Kate crouch over him. He asks about Belle and he wants to get up and see her, but they hold him down. Kate sends Rex to check on Belle. Philip knows Shawn did this to her and says he's a dead man. Shawn passes out again. The paramedics arrive to the bedlam as we see a loose burning candle on the floor (uh oh).

Philip struggles to get to Belle as she's wheeled out on a gurney. Jen stays with Shawn's gurney as Hope steps out to call Bo. She looks down and sees the candle and the gas from the motorcycle flowing towards it and calls Rex over. They both turn and yell for everyone to GET OUT and rush out the other door. An explosion of fire blows the door open and Hope isn't close to it, but rushes inside to see the fire in the church. She looks over and cries out with what she sees. She rushes out the door and Jen assures her everyone's okay, but Shawn's motorcycle caught fire (he sure goes through them fast!)

AT THE HOSPITAL....John tells Philip to go with Kate and he'll take care of Belle. Lexie asks John how he's doing as he flashes back to injecting himself at the church. She goes back to check on Belle as he tells himself the ISA pain meds aren't cutting it and needs something stronger. He overhears Sami on the phone with Lucas saying it's her fault that Shawn crashed Belle's wedding and she has some explaining to do. She tells him she only has wished something would stop Belle from getting married and to back off. John helps himself to some drugs form the drug cart after a nurse goes off to a room. He staggers through some doors for privacy and Sami sees him, remembering what she saw at the church. She tells herself that John Black's a junkie and a liar. The nurse returns and says someone broke into her cart. We see John in the dark room as he fills the syringe and slides to the floor after injecting it. The nurse calls a security guard and tells him about the cart being broken into. He thinks whomever it was might still be in the building as Sami steps out of the doorway nearby. The nurse asks if she saw anyone around the cart and Sami says there was as she sees John walking by.

Hope asks Lexie how Shawn is and is told he's resting, but they're doing a tox screen on him. They believe he was under the influence. Philip walks by in his token undershirt and says Son of a Bitch. Hope (and now Jen) talk with Kate and Philip. Hope doesn't know what Shawn was thinking (uh, that he couldn't get through the guards?) as Kate whips back he wasn't thinking and this has got to stop! We see Shawn (who's still fully clothed (surrrreeeee) as he comes to and groans. He says Belle's name.

Lexie whispers to Belle she was so lucky they were able to stop the bleeding and the glass didn't hit a major artery. Belle tells her she wants to see Shawn. Philip and Kate arrive to see Belle, but Lexie says only one visitor at a time and Shawn's in there. Belle asks Shawn why he did this to her and all he can say “I'm sorry”. He just had to stop her from marrying Philip and asks if he was in time. Are she and Philip married?

Unable to see Belle, Philip stalks off, again vowing to make Shawn pay for what he did. Rex joins Mimi who says Belle will never forgive Shawn for this. Hope is confused as Bo's cell responds he's out of service range and wonders what's going on.

AT THE CASTLE...Jack talks to himself and leans into a moving bookcase and falls into another room. Mumbling to himself, he keeps going.

Marlena is totally freaking out watching St. Lukes TV while not being able to be there to help, especially when the fire breaks out. Roman tells Marlena she needs some sleep (ROFLMAO, sure right Roman!) Marlena yells for Tony to get them out of there as Jack hears her yelling and rushes in that direction. She yells at the door that she will make Tony suffer for all the hell he's putting her family through. Jack hears an announcement that he's escaped and looks for exits.

Later Marlena wakes up and Roman tells her it was only a dream. She knows differently and vows she has to get out of there. Jack tries the keys he got off the guard and steps outside and runs.

ON THE JET....Billie and Bo argue about him going with her to find Georgia. She realizes he listened to her message to Georgia and that's why he's going with her. He admits he still doesn't believe that message on her PDA was from Georgia and figures she'll need all the help she can get to face what's waiting for her. Hope's voice mailbox is full, so he decides to try calling later. Billie can't believe Hope doesn't even know he's there. She knows he doesn't hold Hope on such a tight leash because he trusts HER and asks him to give her the same courtesy. They remember a time he asked her (on the Fancy Face) which was the oregano and she smells it and knows (and apparently was wrong). She tells him she should be his superior as she's better trained. Even Bo says give me a friggin' break, LOL. She reminds him of a time he was held at gunpoint on a pier and she knocked out the guy and saved him. He tells her he didn't believe she was innocent helping Larry Welch kidnap Hope and should have served time for it. They continue arguing and she is going to tell the pilot to land the plane for him to get off, she's tired of this. Frustrated he tells her he is only telling her this because he loves her. That shuts her up as she turns and stares at him as the previews roll....

Billie to Bo: “What you really mean is that you wish our daughter didn't exist. Damn you Bo!”

Sami to Lucas: “You think I should just be nice to John and Kate and just take the blame for everything?”
Lucas's reply: “Yes”
Sami: “God, You're beginning to sound just like John.”

Shawn tells Belle if he thought there was a way to work things out...and she replies, work what out???

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5TH, 2005

Most of the inaction takes place at the hospital today, as we repeat the end of the previous episode, & repeat a lot of dialogue we have heard before. Bo & Billie continue their flight to Europe, while Hope worries as to his whereabouts, & Shawn talks with Belle.

ON THE PLANE Bo & Billie are still arguing over whether he should be there, & he says it is cuz I love you. He tells her he means it, o/w why get out of sick bed to join her, but he loves her as a friend. She talks of a time, when he thought Hope dead, when he loved her differently, & we are treated to another newly created flashback of that time. Bo tells her that he did love her, and tho they will always share a bond because of Georgia, that if he ever had to make a choice, Hope & his 2 boys are his life, & his future, and would always come first.

THE HOSPITAL - Lexie tells Hope that Belle is O.K., just needing some stitches, & she is calling in a plastic surgeon to assess her wounds. She is currently waiting for toxic test results on Shawn. Hope figures Shawn is going to jail (gee, ya think?) & cannot understand why Bo’s cell shows an “out of area” message. Kate & Philip argue about Shawn being in Belle’s room. Mimi tells Rex she thinks it was just a romantic gesture on Shawn’s part to try and stop the wedding. In her room, Shawn asks Belle if she & Philip are married, but she tells him he could have killed them all, and asks what is the matter with him. He tells her he knew he heard her message on his phone, tried calling back, but tho she picked up, she would not answer. Belle has no idea what he is talking about. He says he knew he had to get to her right away. Hope decides to go home & check on Bo. Jan arrives, anxious to see Shawn, but Mimi stops her, saying he is with Belle.

A cop questions the nurse about her drug cart, asking if she was sure it was locked. Of course it was. He then asks Sami about what she saw…..flashback to her seeing John stealing the drugs. Lucas arrives, stopping Sami from telling what she knows. He takes her aside, accusing her of probably making something up, because of her hatred for everyone. He warns her about blaming an innocent John, & reminds her of what happened when she lied about him hitting Will. Meanwhile, a doctor asks Lexie about the time drugs were missing from the main med cabinet. She gives him a list of what is gone, & he remarks about one in particular. A person could have great anger, be testy and even get violent. (Oh, the picture is painted very well, can we all see what is coming? Lol)

Shawn tells Belle he had to stop the wedding some way. Lexie comes in, chasing Shawn out, as she brings in Dr. Gaines to take a look at Belle. Kate lies to Philip about the reason for the guards, saying it was because of Sami, as she remembers intercepting Shawn’s call. She comes out, tells Shawn she has his toxic results back. His blood alcohol level was twice the limit, and he had drugs in his system. Philip blows up, John stops him. Kate & Lexie think John should sit down, rest, etc, & he gets very angry, telling them to stop trying to put him back in that chair. He is not leaving his daughter. Rex asks Mimi if this now changes her opinion of Shawn. Lexie says she will have to notify the authorities. Lucas apologizes to Sami for bringing up her lie about him hitting Will, convinced that Sami really saw nothing. Jan walks off, murmuring to herself that she thought the pill she gave Shawn would do the opposite – mellow him out. Sami hears all. (sigghhhh, with all those people around, Jan talks out loud, lol)

Hope is at home, with no idea where Bo went. Maggie & Julie bring Zack home, & Maggie takes Zack up to bed. Hope talks about why Shawn did such a thing, & Julie reminds her of him being raised with the story of Bo on HIS mortorcycle rescuing Hope from a marriage to the wrong man. They wonder about Bo, & Hope refuses to believe he went off with Billie. Maggie calls the church (thought there was a big explosion & fire there?) & says lots of people still there, & she will go in person to check. Julie & Hope argue about Billie……and Bo. Hope explains how Billie agreed not to go, & tho Julie says what if she changed her mind, Hope refuses to accept it. Julie warns her Shawn will probably go to jail. She goes on about Billie, and Hope warns her to shut up. She trusts her husband, he promised, yada, yada, yada. Maggie returns with the news that Bo is not at the church. Julie suggests again finding out where Billie is, but Hope angrily refuses, telling Julie not to go there, that she knows Bo is NOT with her.

Back at the hospital, everyone hears Shawn yell out “NO!”….and rush in, learning Belle just told Shawn that she & Phil ARE married. Philip shows Shawn his wedding ring, saying yes, they are married and there is nothing Shawn can do about it. …………..and the previews……

Philip angrily grabs Shawn, saying, listen you SOB, that is my wife. Shawn decks him.

Billie tells Bo that he is a loving & generous man, but that he has a horrible habit of making women who love him a nervous wreck. A picture of Hope is superimposed on the scene.

Sami, thinking as she watches John……..you’re a junkie, John. You always said knowledge is power & this knowledge is gonna make me very powerful.

Summary: Shawn and Belle want to talk to each other, but no one will let them…Bo and Billie continue their flight to where ever…Hope continues to search for and worry about Bo…Jack takes refuge at a pub.

IN SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY…Jack is wandering around in the cold and snow, wondering what to do next. He comes upon a pub and goes inside to warm up. He snatches some money from a table as a waitress asks him something about the DiMera castle (he is in a guard uniform). He plays along with her and orders a coffee. He takes a jacket and hat (for disguise). Bart comes in looking for him showing Jack’s picture to the locals and the cops. Bart walks over talking to him, but he is actually flirting with the waitress (Helga). Bart gets a call from Tony and rushes off. Jack fears he can trust no one, not even the cops…the only person he can trust is Jen. He finds a phone and calls her. He gets the machine and leaves her a message, telling her he is alive and trying to make his way home.

ON THE PLANE…Bo and Billie continue their conversation as he tells her that his choice will be his family. He tells Billie that Hope doesn’t know where he is and she says she will be furious. He tries to call her several times, but the line is busy. He realizes that she is home and will be wondering where he is. Billie can’t believe he didn’t tell her or leave a note or anything…and agrees Hope will be angry. She says it isn’t her fault…she didn’t ask him to come. Billie has some fake flashbacks of when Bo worried her once by not calling. She says he has a habit of making the women he loves nervous wrecks. He says it isn’t intentional (as we see more flashbacks). The pilot announces they are making their descent and Bo says he will have to call Hope as soon as they land.

MEANWHILE, BACK AT HOME…Hope is calling all around looking for Bo, growing more frantic. Jennifer arrives to help her out. Hope is sure that Bo didn’t take off with Billie as Jen tries to comfort her and reason with her. Hope is a nervous wreck, with Shawn’s troubles and now Bo missing. She says that Shawn needs his dad as she continues to try and convince herself that Bo isn’t with Billie. They talk about what Shawn did how insane…irrational…rash…and yes, romantic it was. Hope says it is just like something his dad would do…as Jen reminds her that Bo DID. (We see flashbacks of Bo and Hope on the motorcycle as he broke up her wedding to Larry). But Hope says this is different…Shawn was too late. Philip and Belle are married now. Jen tells Hope that maybe something happened and that possibly Bo did go to help Billie, but she doesn’t want to believe it. Hope says that Shawn is now in deep trouble and she can’t handle it alone…she needs Bo.

AT THE HOSPITAL…Lexie wants to take John home to rest and asks why is he so tense. John jumps Sami, asking WHY is she there and they get into an argument with him calling her a bitch. The cop asks Sami if she saw anyone stealing the drugs. Philip goes into Belle’s room, jumps Shawn and they get into a brawl, while Belle screams. John, Lexie, Abe, Lucas and all come rushing in and break them up as Lexie orders Shawn out of the room. In the lobby, Mimi tells Shawn that he was too late…Philip and Belle are married (as we see the finish of their wedding, right before the crash). Shawn wants to talk to her, but they keep him out. Everyone leaves Philip and Belle alone.

Back in the lobby, the cop is questioning Sami about the drugs and she finally says she saw nothing. Lucas is relieved she didn’t say anything. Lexie wants to talk to John about the stolen drugs, so she, John and Abe step out into the hallway (as of course Sami listens). Lexie wants it investigated but privately, not causing scandal. She and Abe try to convince John to check into it, as Sami can’t believe what she is hearing. John finally agrees and tells them that he needs some air. Lexie goes to call Hope to give her the results of the drug/alcohol test on Shawn. John wanders the halls, looking for a private place. He finds a quiet place and shoots up (as Sami watches him…thinking that this knowledge will make her powerful).

Belle tells Philip she wants to talk to Shawn and this angers him and he FORBIDS her to, which in turn angers her. She wants to find out why he did what he did. Philip says he was drunk and stoned, but Belle finds it hard to believe it. Philip tells her about the results of the drug/alcohol test and tries to convince her that Shawn doesn’t care about her and ruined their wedding. Belle has trouble believing that Shawn would be doing drugs, but Philip says he will never hurt her again and holds her as she cries. But she says that there is something terribly wrong with Shawn and she needs to talk to him.

Lexie calls Hope and tells her the results of the test. She says she will have to call the police, but wanted to call her first. Hope says she is on her way. In the lobby, Jan tries to keep Shawn away from Mimi, but Rex drags Jan off for coffee. Mimi asks Shawn why he did it, but he says he had no options, he needed to talk to Belle and the church was locked and guarded. He says that Belle was everything to him and he couldn’t let it end like that. Kate is listening in and thinks to herself that he will NOT break up Belle and Philip. She thinks that maybe Mimi shouldn’t be with Rex either. Mimi encourages Shawn to talk to Belle. Jan comes up behind Mimi and tells her that if she loses Shawn, she and Rex are history. Kate pulls Mimi aside and advises her to keep out of it. Mimi says she means no disrespect, but Shawn and Belle have been in love forever and she feels that they belong together. Kate tells her it’s too late now…Belle and Philip are married. Shawn is still demanding to go see Belle as Kate steps in telling him that he isn’t going anywhere near her. Kate tells Rex that Shawn is dangerous and wants him to stay away from him. Rex says he will stay out of it and will ask Mimi to do the same. The police arrive to arrest Shawn, much to his protest. But finally he turns around as they cuff him and read him his rights…and the previews show…

Jack: I would like a room (as he drops something) and someone says “gotcha:…

Chelsea (to Abby): I’m going to do more than get him in bed…I am going to make Patrick Lockhart fall in love with me…

Shawn (to Hope): Where is dad, mom? Hope: I don’t know…

Bo: I’ve got to call and explain what happened. Billie: Oh my God Bo…you’re bleeding…

Summary: Hope is left manning the home front again, Jen visits Gran per Hope's request while Patrick baby/teen sits and Bo and Billie arrive in Europe...inches away from Jack...

AT THE DEVERAUX'S...Abby and Chelsea come downstairs to find Patrick doing ab crunches to music in the living room (can't he do that in his apartment above the garage?). Of course Chelsea is practically drooling and still telling Abby her plans for Patrick (yeah, like he'd want a high school girl). Later Abby is surprised to see that Chelsea has put Jack Jrs. Video monitor into Patrick's shower. Abby doesn't approve. Chelsea isn't discouraged and tells Jen that she's going to get Patrick, not her mother. Abby knows her mom still loves her dad, but Chelsea sees the way Patrick looks at Jen. She warns Abby she better hope Patrick wants her instead of Jen.

Jen calls Patrick and he gives her the 411 on the kids being okay. He sees a blinking message (Jack's), but she says she'll check it when she gets home. She asks him to stay with the kids longer and he agrees.

Abby goes down to ask Patrick to look at her computer. They walk in and find Chelsea posed on the bed, but Patrick goes straight to the computer after saying hi. Abby asks him what he likes in a girl and Chelsea throws on a shirt when he says he likes NICE girls..but then takes it off when he admits liking when they dress up for him too. He finds the cord not plugged in all the way and tells Abby he's going to use the hall shower as he just caulked his. He asks her to listen for Jack Jr. and Abby agrees. He chuckles at Chelsea's hair and leaves. Abby points out he barely noticed Chelsea and the monitor in his shower won't work now. Chelsea says who needs a monitor when his fine form is showering just down the hall. We find Patrick in the STEAMY shower and the girls open the door (which isn't locked) and frustrated they can't see anything over the steam and close the door. Chelsea's determined to make Patrick fall in love with her, not just make love.

AT THE BRADY HOME..Hope dashes downstairs in a hurray as well with Jen on her heels (seems to be the Deveraux women's calling today). Uncle Mickey calls Hope with bad news (as we see Shawn handcuffed to the chair). After hanging up, Hope tells Jen about Shawn's tox screen results and asks Jen to tell Gran personally about it. Bo calls the house the minute she walks out.

IN EUROPE...Billie (and Bo) are checking into an inn and the clerk says she only has one room with one bed available (that sleeps two). Bo's trying to call Hope on his cell. This older female clerk is most helpful as they inquire about homes for sale and tells them that there are many children in the area as well when Billie asks. Bo asks about the castle and she warns him to stay away from it or he may not live to regret it. Bo tells Billie that the answering machine is turned off at home and Hope's voice mail box is full. (try calling Gran or Jen, hello!) We return to see Bo shirtless in bed as Billie finishes bandaging him up. She tells him to get some sleep and she's too wired to, and is going down to work on her notes in the bar. She turns off the lights and leaves the room. He turns on the lamp and tries calling Hope again (hope he brought his international cell phone charger!!)

JACK is outside the inn and crouches down to pick up something when we hear a voice saying..HOLD IT RIGHT THERE. It's a policeman who found one of the items Jack dropped. He tells Jack that he looks familiar and Jack starts coughing all over him and the cop disappears quickly. He goes into the same Inn that Bo and Billie just checked into and asks for a room. He drops the wallet and thinks one of Tony's goons found him, but it was just a helpful stranger. He asks for a room and the talkative clerk confides she does have a room, but told the other couple that just checked in she only had one room as she could tell how much in love they were. Anxious for privacy, Jack asks for the key, but learns the clerk's daughter is still cleaning it as the maid went home sick. She asks him to wait in the bar, which he does while looking at the locket with Jen's picture in it, telling it soon. We return to him eating strudel and asking where the toilet is. He heads towards it and bumps into Billie (neither see each other) as she heads from her room to the bar. Jack returns to the bar after he finds the room isn't ready yet. He sees a pay phone and thinks about calling Jen again. He tells himself no, that Jen will get his message. Billie drinks her coffee at the bar and sees someone (Jack?) in the mirror.

AT GRAN'S, Jen and Gran sit at the kitchen table talking about Bo's missing. She remembers how Jack use to do this to her while working on a story. She misses him so much and Gran takes her hand (awww). She was just getting use to living without Jack when she got him back and now she's lost him again. Her family is all that's keeping her strong. They talk about how Patrick's helped and he's living in the apartment above the garage. Jen is taken back when Gran suggests how things might change with Patrick. Jack has her heart and she's not close to even thinking about anyone else. Jen returns home and throws the mail on the desk, not seeing the blinking light on the answering machine.

AT THE COP SHOP..Kate called Karen, the female ADA, to the cop shop and proceeds to tell her what Shawn did at the church. Kate gets a call from the Basic Black man on the jet (Cole?) to let her know that Billie AND BO had arrived safely in Europe. Kate's pleasantly surprised to learn Bo's with Billie and tells him to keep the jet at Billie's disposal as they don't need it right now. Karen was reading Shawn's arrest report while Kate was on the phone and surprised as this is so unlike ShawnD (no kidding). Kate tells Karen she's concerned for Belle and Philip's safety and Hope walks in assuring her that if Shawn's guilty, he will pay. She and Bo will get to the bottom of this. Hope asks Kate if she knows where Billie is as she wasn't at the wedding. Kate LIES, saying she doesn't know (what a Bitch!) After Hope goes to join Mickey and Shawn, Kate reminds Karen it's an election year and Karen quietly warns her that isn't some kind of threat, is it. Kate merely reminds her all her actions will be closely scutinized (yeah, right). Karen firmly tells Kate goodbye and starts to leave as Mickey walks out of Bo's office. She tells him Father Jansen hasn't decided if he'll even press charges yet. If he does, Shawn could face 6-10 years at Statesville. Kate slips aside and calls someone to make a few calls for her. The first to the Bishop and the second to the DA.

Hope walks into Bo's office where Shawn and Mickey are talking (handy having a dad that's a commander, huh?) Hope reminds Shawn that he could be put away for years. Crouching next to him, she asks how they got to this point. He remembers hearing Belle's message and what happened with Jan earlier at the loft and at the church. (short replay for those that missed it) Shawn's more worried about Belle and denies taking any drugs. Hope knows the tests don't lie. He asks for Dad and she tells him Bo's not there. He asks where he is and she figures he's looking for Shawn.

An officer comes to book Shawn and says he has to stay in lock up. Kate watches from across the room and says one down, two to go. She just has to get rid of Sami and Hope and her children will be happy at last.

Bo calls his office and Hope answers. He tells her how he tried to reach her and couldn't leave a message at home or on her cell (doesn't he wonder WHY she's at work?). He admits he's with Billie and in Europe. He asks her to say something and she says “Damn you Bo”..and we see Kate listening through the open doorway.....and the previews roll....

Brady is at the cop shop and Belle doesn't like it when he says Shawn should be locked up and the key thrown away...he asks why she's defending Shawn...

Hope to Bo: “No, you always have a choice...and as usual..you chose to be with Billie.”

Not sure where they are..but Nicole sees John injecting himself with more pain killers..

Summary: Hope is furious with Bo as he tries to explain…Billie gets a lead…Shawn makes bail…Nicole, Brady and Kate discover John’s secret…Jack ends up on a boat.

IN SALEM…Belle and Philip arrive at the loft and he carries her across the threshold. Inside, they are greeted by Kate, Brady, Nicole, John, Mimi and Rex with a little surprise party. Brady assures everyone that he is okay as he asks what WAS Shawn thinking. Of course Belle defends him. Kate apologizes to Belle for not inviting Sami to the party, but was sure she would ruin it. They all toast the couple, but as Belle looks at Philip, she sees Shawn. Brady talks to Nicole about how things don’t turn out how you think they will…talking about John losing Marlena, him losing Chloe and now Belle marrying Philip. She tells him that she has hope and believes that she and he are meant to be…but he still has Chloe on the brain. John slips out into the hall and gives himself a booster shot…as Nicole sees him. Belle and Philip cut their cake as everyone watches, Rex taking pictures. They put on music for them to dance and John wants the first dance with Belle. She thanks her dad for making her day special as he talks about how her mother would be proud of her. As they watch, Nicole tells Brady that she thinks his dad is hooked on drugs. Brady can’t believe it, but she says she knows the signs…from experience. (Kate is listening as they talk). Mimi is moping around and tells Rex that she can’t help it, she still believes that Belle and Shawn belong together. He tells her to just drop it…Belle and Philip are married now. Kate pulls Nicole aside and jumps her for her accusations, sure they are not true. They argue and Nicole says that Kate just jumped at the chance to play house with John and says she is only after his money…at least SHE loves Brady. She says that Kate would probably just rather John be strung out. Angrily, Kate says if this wasn’t her son’s wedding day, she would just mop the floor with Nicole. Brady keeps an eye on his dad and sees the syringe fall out of his pocket. He goes over to Nicole and Kate and tells them what he saw. Brady volunteers to take John home so they all say their goodbye’s and leave. Mimi and Rex also bid goodnight and leave. In the hallway, she tells Rex she cannot let it go, for Belle and Shawn are BOTH their friends.

John, Brady, Nicole and Kate arrive at the penthouse with John in a foul mood. He storms off as Brady looks in his jacket pocket and finds the drugs. Kate tells them about the drug thefts at the hospital and says they need to do something. Brady says his dad needs professional help and goes to call a rehab center.

AT THE COP SHOP…Mickey tells Shawn (who is now in cuffs and an orange jump suit) that he is in serious trouble and may not make bail as he runs through the charges. In the other room, Hope is on the phone with Bo and is furious with him. He says he didn’t have a choice, but she says yes, he did and he always chooses Billie. She lets him know that there are problems at home but doesn’t tell him what…saying that all that is important to him is Billie (give him hell, Hope!) He tells her that she and the boys come first, but she says every chance he gets, he takes off with Billie. Mickey comes in and tells her that they need to talk and she hangs up on Bo. She tells Mickey she didn’t tell Bo what was going on and is just so angry with him right now. Shawn walks in, saying it is the same old story…he is too busy for his family because he is off with Billie looking for their bastard daughter. Hope shifts gears, telling him they need to concentrate on his bail, but Mickey says it won’t be easy. He asks Shawn if he is ready to face the judge as Hope hugs him and they leave. Later, they come back (Shawn is now in street clothes, he made bail). Mickey is worried if it goes to trial and thinks they should plea-bargain, but Shawn refuses. Hope gets another call from Bo (see below) as he apologizes to her and tries to explain why he left in a rush, saying that he couldn’t stop Billie from going alone. She reminds him that Patrick was going, but Bo says he doesn’t trust Lockhart. Hope then tells Bo that she doesn’t trust HIM. She tells him that Shawn needed him but it is too late now, something terrible has happened. Later (she tells him off camera) she tells him that had he been there, maybe it wouldn’t have happened. Shawn thanks Mickey for his help and goes to leave. Mickey tells him to stay out of trouble and AWAY from Belle and Philip. Bo promises Hope that he will be on the next plane home. Of course Shawn goes to the loft and is banging on the door. Philip answers as Shawn demands to see Belle.

IN EUROPE…Jack talks to Jen’s picture, promising to be home soon. Billie sees someone in the mirror, but it turns out to be Bart. She recognizes the voice. He is questioning the innkeeper and showing her a picture of Jack. Jack hears this as well and slips upstairs. In the process, he makes a racket and they take off after him, as does Billie. Upstairs, Billie asks the lady who she was talking to and about the man he is searching for, but she rushes off. At their door, Billie hears Bo on the phone with Hope and goes in. She asks if they were fighting because of her (well, duh). Billie says she never wanted to cause problems for them but Bo says they will work it out. Billie talks about how much he and Hope love each other and remembers she had someone like that once (as we are treated to more fake flashbacks of her and Bo in bed together). She tells him that she only wants the best for him, even if that is being with Hope. She tells him that she may have had a breakthrough, decrypting some info on the disc as phone numbers. She is going to go and do some searches. He wants to help, but she insists he get some rest and call Hope again. Meanwhile, Jack hears Bart tell the lady that he will find the man, as he has guards at every exit. But Jack opens a window…and of course falls out. Bart finally gives up and tells the lady he is heading back to the castle. Later, we see Jack on a boat wearing a fake mustache. He is caught by a guy and as he is shaking him around, the mustache falls off. Jack decides he must try and trust the guy and tells him how desperately he needs to get back to the states. The guy finally gives in and tells him that he can go with them, but must work for his trip…doing the laundry. Jack says he will do anything. The guy brings in a sack of laundry and leaves. Jack opens the bag and almost gags over the smell. He says if this is what it takes, then so be it. Back at the inn, Billie does some more searching and comes up with some names. She asks the innkeeper if she knows this couple and shows her a name. She says yes she does and they have a teenage daughter, who is around 15. Excited, Billie thinks she has finally found her daughter. The innkeeper makes a call telling someone that there is an American woman asking about them and that they know what to do. Billie decides not to tell Bo and handle this on her own…as the previews show…

Abby (to Chelsea): You’re wrong about my mom…the only man she cares about is my dad…

Philip (to Belle as they toast): To the rest of our lives as husband and wife…

Rex (to Shawn): Shawn accept it…Belle married Philip…it’s over…

John (angrily to Brady, Kate and Nicole): Just get out of here…get out of her right now…go on…GET OUT OF HERE!!!..

Summary: Boring show tomorrow. We find Jack doing laundry on the ship dreaming about returning home, more of Chelsea's drooling over Patrick, Kate and Brady trying to do an intervention on John, and Shawn trying to see Belle at the loft (why Belle and Philip didn't go to a hotel?)

DEVEREAUX HOME
Abby tells Chelsea she knows her father's alive. Chelsea doesn't buy it. She goes to the hall bath and opens it, hoping to find Patrick in the buff. Too late, he's gone (and hopefully locks the door from now on). Chelsea talks endlessly about how hot Patrick is and her plans to get him before Jen does as Abby knows her mom loves her dad.

Patrick finishes his shower and comes downstairs (shirtless of course, but wearing pants) to find Jen sipping tea. He apologizes for dripping all over her carpet and tells her the kids are all fine. He asked what happened that night, but she's too tired to explain and promises to do so in the morning. He heads to his apartment and reminds her there's a message on her machine. Jen slips on something and falls to the floor. Patrick rushes back in, concerned and offering to take her to the hospital. She laughs, saying she just wrenched her back and remembers all the prat falls Jack use to take. Her back hurts when she gets up and he sits her down and offers to massage her back. He suggests she take off her jacket and starts massaging her shoulders. Abby and Chelsea come downstairs and watch. Chelsea tells Jen that Abby asked her to spend the night and asks to use her phone to call home. Jen asks her to push the button to hear the message and of course, Chelsea erases it. Jen isn't worried, saying whomever it is will call back.

ON THE SHIP...
We see Jack doing laundry (by hand on a scrub board) as he remembers calling Jennifer. He tells himself he'd do anything to see her face when she gets the message. Complaining how the fisherman all stink, he yells up they should shower more. He dreams about returning home and back into Jennifer's arms (think he should have washed his own clothes (and face) first. He knocks on the door and Jen answers it surprised. We return to him opening another bag of clothes (how many guys ON that ship?) as he continues his dream of returning home. In his dream (I think Jen's wearing the same top) Jen smiles, but says no, she's just imagining him coming home again. She starts crying and tells herself it's only a dream and he won't be there when she wakes up. After arguing over whose dream it is, she wakes up and rushes into his arms. Abby comes downstairs holding Jack Jr. (who never grows apparently) and there's a group hug.

LOFT
Rex and Mimi cuddle on the couch as she can't believe Belle and Philip are married. Rex figures jail time would help Shawn think about his life, but Mimi ponders what life Shawn has without Belle. (gee, he had months to think about that before..we know, we had to watch it)

Alone in her room, Belle remembers the church just before Shawn burst in as she prepares for bed. Belle whines upstairs after remembering Shawn apologizing for what he did and why he did so. The bride paces her room, fully clothed in sweater and skirt, thinking about Shawn (yawn) and her discussion. She knows it's too late, Philip is her husband now and whatever Shawn said is too late.

Downstairs Shawn pounds on the loft door, which is opened by the shirtless bridegroom. (thought Shawn had to spend the night in jail, but admit not watching today's show) Shawn demands to see Belle, but Philip refuses to let him. They fight a little and when Shawn hits the ground, Mimi and Rex rush to the door. Philip tells Shawn to stay the hell away from his wife and slams the loft door. Philip finds some wine glasses, determined to make their wedding night memorable. He turns up the music to drown out Shawn's pounding. He comes upstairs and stops Belle from going downstairs. She heard someone calling her name and asks if Shawn's there. Without denying it, he mentions Shawn was in jail. She wants to go turn down the music, but he wants to hear it upstairs.

Across the hall they can hear the loud music in Rex and Shawn's loft. They warn him about additional charges that could be added to the current ones. Rex warns Shawn to accept the fact that Belle is married to Philip. Philip sets the mood with candles and music now. Belle walks in wearing a full length lace negligee as they toast champagne glasses.

AT THE PENTHOUSE
Upstairs John is freaking out as he remembers injecting himself with pain killers. Looking at Marlena's picture, he says he did it for Belle, so he could walk her down the aisle (flashback of that). We find him hugging Marlena's picture as he sits on the bed knowing he can't face the trio downstairs the way he is. Using his cane he staggers to the drugs, figuring he's justified in using the pain killers before going downstairs.

Brady, Nicole and Kate talk about John's addiction to pain killers. Brady thinks about calling Abe and Lexie for suggestions, but Nicole stops him. Kate knows that John being busted as a drug addict would make Nicole's day. Kate figures John needs intervention and will appreciate it one day. Nicole doesn't buy it. Nicole tells them about how her father got her on drugs and warns him that John will deny it, say Brady's not showing any respect, etc., but they don't believe it. Nicole helps herself to something to drink and although Kate suggests she leave, Nicole doesn't want to miss the show. Brady asks John to come downstairs (that alone should be hard enough with a BACK INJURY!!) Kate starts out telling him what a good man he is, especially when it comes to his family. He asks if they came to praise Caesur or bury him. Brady tells him what he's doing is dangerous and wants him to stop. John denys knowing what Brady's talking about, so Brady tells him they know he's using drugs. John denies it and is in incredible pain. He asks how he got that idea and Brady tells him Nicole. John bad mouthes Nikki K and asks Brady who he believes..his father or some bitch who's trying to discredit him. Kate and Brady continue their intervention, but John tells them if they're going to take this lying whore's word over his, to GET OUT. (how about the evidence Brady found in John's coat? Why doesn't he mention that?)

AS THE PREVIEWS ROLL

Shawn asks Mimi if Belle wanted to call off the wedding. Is she still in love with him? Jan listens to this through the open door.

Belle and Philip are in bed as she tells him everything worked out the way it was meant to be.

Patrick tells Hope that Bo's the one that took off with Billie. If she wants to be mad at someone, it should be Bo.

Billie tells Bo she's going with him. She smirks as he tells her she's the most stubborn, irrational...

It is still New Year’s Eve, (man, the nights in Salem are long) as Philip & Belle continue their wedding night, Rex & Mimi try to deal w/Shawn despite interference from Jan, & Bo goes back on his word to Hope once more.zzzzzz

PATRICK is once more massaging Jen’s back, tho the kids are gone now. The doorbell rings & he finally decides he should put on a shirt, so people would not get the wrong impression (gee, ya think? O.K, it bugged me yesterday when he came down with just his pants on, claiming he was sorry to be dripping all over Jen’s carpet. He can dry his bottom half to put on the pants, but not the top half. Aarrgghh). It is Hope, who tells Jen she was right all along. Bo is in Europe with Billie. She also tells her that Shawn got out of jail on bail. Patrick returns, wearing a shirt at last, & Hope tells him about Bo being with Billie. Patrick defends her, telling Hope that it is Bo she should be mad at, not Billie. Hope realizes he is right, that Bo promised to stay home, broke that promise, and now he has promised to come home. She prays nothing happens to him.

BO CATCHES BILLIE about to run off the house of a couple with a 15 yr. old daughter. They argue,.Bo says it could be a trap. The innkeeper calls Bart to say the woman is on her way. He says good, he will be waiting. When the scene returns, Bo has told Billie about the events in Salem, & says they must leave, but she refuses. They go inside and continue to argue. Frau Brucher calls Bart again, while Bo & Billie continue to argue. (we have heard it all time and time again). Billie leaves, Bo follows, murmuring a sorry to Fancy Face. Bart follows them, calling his boss to tell him, & says he knows what to do, they won’t know what hit them.

PHILIP & BELLE have a champagne toast, and continue on to their wedding nite.(Didn't Brady & Nicole arrange for some fancy hotel for them?) Meanwhile, Shawn questions Mimi about why Belle called him. Jan listens outside the door, then barges in. She tries talking to Shawn, but he just insists he has to talk to Belle. Rex & Mimi argue, Rex tries talking to Shawn, as Jan threatens Mimi once more, yada, yada. They hear moaning thru the vents coming from Philip & Belle (oh, give me a break here), & Shawn goes pounding once more on Belle’s door.Jan lets slip something about perhaps having a pill to give Shawn & change his mood, & Mimi realizes Jan has been drugging Shawn, & probably did the whole summer. Jan again threatens to blow the whistle about Mimi’s abortion (jeez, Mimi, tell Rex already, you have 10,000 things on Jan, she only has one on you). Rex & Shawn argue, & Rex leaves the room. Shawn pressures Mimi to help him see Belle, & tells her he will be up on roof in 15 minutes. He pretends to go to bed. Mimi grabs Belle’s apt. keys, & sneaks out. She lets herself into Belle’s apt, just as Belle comes downstairs.Mimi fills Belle in about Shawn’s being out on bail, his earlier attempts to talk to her, the fight with Philip, & tells her Shawn is up on the roof right now, waiting to see her. Belle goes up to the roof, & asks Shawn what does he want.

JOHN CONTINUES to deny taking drugs, & verbally attacks Nicole. Brady tells him about seeing the syringe earlier, but John continues to deny, saying he is trained to handle pain. Brady shows him the vial & needle they found earlier, but John claims it is evidence in a private investigation for the hospital, that someone has been stealing drugs from there, & tells them to call Lexie to verify. Brady & Kate are ready to believe this, but not Nicole. John goes on the attack about her, but Brady will not have it. Asks why John would have evidence in his pocket, handling it with no gloves (sounds like Brady got hold of the Salem brain for a change) & continues on that John Black would never treat anyone the way he has treated them all tonight, that he is an addict, & unless he admits it, they cannot help him. Brady again questions him about the vial & syringe, but John gets very nasty. Kate asks him if he will submit to a drug test, & now it is Kate’s turn to feel John’s wrath. He calls her a whore like Nicole, who has slept her way up the ladder, too. He tells them to leave, and if they won’t, he will. He goes upstairs, planning to shoot up again. He stares at the hypo, trying to hold off, but he can’t. The scene ends with a double pic. In the upper left corner is John, putting the needle into the vial, and the lower right shows Brady looking up (ala the Brady Bunch intro) saying he has to get his dad some help before he kills himself. And the previews roll, showing

Patrick telling Hope that it was Bo’s choice to go. He is with Billie because he wants to be. (I could swear he already said that today!)

John telling everyone at the apt. that if they want to know why he is taking these pain meds, just ask Kate.

Jan telling Mimi that if she thought she lost something precious when she got rid of her baby, just wait until Rex finds out about the abortion. Rex come in saying, what’s this about an abortion?

Shawn saying to Belle…just tell me before you go, do you still love me?

Summary: A quite boring show…WAY too many flashbacks and repetitive dialogue. John tries to lie his way out of his predicament…Belle meets Shawn on the roof…Jan threatens Mimi again…Hope seeks comfort with Jen, but Patrick defends Billie.

AT JEN’s…she is trying to assure Hope that Bo is on his way home. But Patrick defends Billie, which angers both Hope and Jen as they recount some of the things Billie has done in the past. Hope swears if something happens to Bo, she will kill Billie. Jen and Hope are both upset but Patrick continues to defend Billie, saying he doesn’t mean to upset Hope, but only trying to help. Hope thinks Billie has never changed…always scheming to get Bo. She tells of more of Billie’s deeds (like trying to blame her miscarriage on Hope). She just can’t understand how Billie convinced Bo to go with her. Patrick tells her to hold Bo accountable as well…it was his choice…he went because he wanted to. Hope says he went because he must have thought Billie was in danger. She has a (long) flashback of being with Bo in the pier talking about Billie the last time she was in town. She tells Patrick he is right, Bo had a choice and he chose Billie. Finally she says all this is pointless…they just keep covering the same ground (took the words right out of my mouth there). Patrick apologizes for upsetting her but she says it is okay, she is going home to wait for Bo. Jen follows her to the door and asks if she is okay. Hope says yes, she will call her when Bo gets home, and she leaves. After she leaves, Jen jumps all over Patrick for defending Billie. He says he got to know Billie and he doesn’t think she is after Bo. Jen thinks that Patrick has fallen under Billie’s spell as well. Meanwhile, Hope goes down to the dock and sits. She continues the flashback of her and Bo, where she asks if he still loves Billie. He tells her he loves HER…she is the love of his life and they will grow old together. She sits there and says she feels so alone.

AT MIMI & REX’S…Jan wants to go check on Shawn, but Mimi tries to keep her away. Jan has flashbacks of hearing Belle’s call before the wedding. Rex asks why would Belle call Shawn. Jan accuses Mimi of urging Belle to call him but she denies it, saying that Belle must have had her reasons. But Jan isn’t buying it. Rex goes to change clothes and while he is gong Jan slaps Mimi, calling her names. She says that Shawn and Belle will NEVER get back together and for Mimi to give it up. She threatens to tell Rex about the abortion…just as Rex walks in and hears the last part. He asks them what are they talking about and Jan goes into this story about a friend of hers who had an abortion and didn’t tell her boyfriend. He sees that Mimi is upset as Jan goes on to say what a sad story it is. Rex agrees, he says that would be unforgivable.

UP ON THE ROOF…Belle shows up as Shawn thanks her for coming, even though she says she shouldn’t have. She says there is nothing left to talk about…she is married to Philip now. She swears she loves Philip, even though Shawn doesn’t believe her. He apologizes and she accepts his aplogy, but says she can never FORGIVE him for all the things he said and did to her. He asks her about the phone call and says he crashed his bike into the church because she called. He says she must have had doubts and he needed to talk to her. He had no choice, all the doors were locked and guarded. She lashes out and him and says they broke up because he abandoned her. He says he still doesn’t understand what happened to him to change him. He says he wants to change, but needs her help. She tells him it is too late, she is married to Philip and says that calling him was a mistake. She goes to leave, but he stops her and asks her if she still loves him.

AT THE PENTHOUSE…Brady worries over John (insert flashbacks here of John letting Kate have it). He apologizes for his dad’s behavior. Kate and Nicole agree that John needs help. Kate still wants to call Lexie, but Nicole says there isn’t time, they need to act now. Upstairs, John contemplates another hit of the drug. They all go upstairs and Brady starts banging on the door and Nicole urges him not to give up. John tells them he doesn’t need their help, so Brady kicks the door open and they all go in to find John with the needle in his leg. They want to know what he is taking, but John says an ISA doctor prescribed it for him (More flashbacks) since Lexie refused to help him. Nicole accuses him of stealing the drugs form the hospital, but he denies it (more flashbacks). Nicole doesn’t believe him as he explains he got a second opinion. John says he did it because of Belle…she had lost her mother as well as Shawn. He promised her he would walk her down the aisle. He also blames Kate for putting the wedding together so quickly that he didn’t have time for rehab. He says Lexie refused to help him and he was determined…he did it all for Belle. Nicole reminds him that the wedding is over…why is he still using and he says he pushed himself too hard. He promises he is done now. He thanks them for their help and concern and for lashing out at them. He swears he is not addicted. He apologizes to “Katherine” as well for his behavior and she accepts. As they hug, Nicole just cannot believe what is going on…as the previews show…

Shawn (to Belle): I never returned your ring…you have to believe me…I would never have had her do that…

John (to Nicole): I would do anything for my family… (Nicole): Even lie to them?…

Julie (to Hope): What did she do to trick your husband into going away with her this time?…(Hope): She didn’t trick him…he went because he wanted to…

Billie (to a couple): I am Georgia’s mother…this is her father and we want to see our daughter…

Summary: Bo and Billie find themselves in trouble once again; Belle weakens on the roof; Hope admits understanding why Bo's doing what he is; and the intervention ends..or does it?

BACK TO THE ROOF..
Belle denies still loving Shawn. She tells him Philip is her husband and the only man she loves. Shawn tells her he doesn't believe her. They drag up past history about her lie to him and how he walked out on her, her turning to Philip, yada yada. She tells him that Philip was the man HE wasn't and stood by her through everything. She didn't date Philip until Shawn dumped her. He denies doing that, but she tears into him how she didn't hear from him after her mother was killed in prison and cried herself to sleep every night. She finds out he was living with Jan and had Jan do his dirty work returning his purity ring. He denies doing that, then later says he can't remember doing that. He doesn't understand why he would do that, doesn't remember getting together with Jan, getting engaged to her..nothing. It's not like him. He asks her to help him figure this out but she refuses. She tells him her husband is downstairs in their bed and it would kill him to know she's up there talking to him. She leaves a frustrated Shawn alone on the roof. In tears, she hears him call out her name saying he needs her. She returns and he pleads with her to help him. She asks after all he's done to her, he can asks that...but agrees to do so.

BRADY HOME
Julie's babysitting and notices a western motif jack in the box amongst Zack's toys. She recalls how cowboys and indians were so popular when she was young (so did I..in fact a friend and I were just talking about that the other day when we also remembered that) and she had a Dale Evans outfit, then cranks the toy. As the tune plays Yellow Rose of Texas, a Bonnie Lockhart image pops up, not the clown. A disgruntled Julie wonders if Bonnie's trying to be the new role model for Salem children (guess the toy's only sold locally?)then tears the dolls head off. Hope returns home and tells Julie that Bo left the country with Billie. Julie rants about the Bonnie toy and what she did to it. Hope said it was one of Zack's favorite toys and Julie promises to get a real jack in the box toy for him. Hope tells Julie that Bo went willingly with Billie this time. She tells Julie that Patrick made her see the truth. She knows that Billie is 100% focused on finding Georgia. Even though she knows Bo is committed to her and their sons, he still loves Billie. She figures he felt guilty for leaving Billie to return to her. How can he just stop loving Billie because she returned in his life. Hope starts crying, saying she's not making excuses, just trying to understand. She can understand how Uncle Mickey must feel to choose between two wives. Julie says if any two people belonged together, it's her and Bo. There's no comparison to the Bonnie/Mickey/Maggie situation. Hope thanks her and Julie says what are big sisters for (aww). Hope tells her that she talked to Bo and he's agreed to come home tonight after hearing about Shawn.

EUROPE
Bo and Billie arrive at the house they think Georgia is living in. Bo tries to reign in Billie's enthusiasm. She thanks him for delaying his trip home and he figures an hour tops will resolve if this girl is their daughter, then they're both on a plane home. They ring the bell. Without showing ID, they tell the couple that because their adoptive daughter was born to American parents and with new Homeland Security rules they some questions. A large picture of the girl is on the wall and Billie (some government agent, she's definitely no Sydney Bristow, ha!) blurts out if that's their girl. They cover saying it's an American phrase and Billie asks if the girl is home. They say she's out and not due home for a while, but offer tea. They accept and Bo explains it's unusual for an American child to be adopted outside the country. They say they kept the name as she was 3 years old and it would be awkward to change it and how they were more concerned about the girls biological mother after hearing she was a drug using prostitute. They explain seeing police reports about the mother as Billie grows more and more agitated. Bo tries to calm her down, but no way Jose. Billie finally tells them that they're her biological parents. The couple laughs, much to their surprise but not ours, and the woman half of the couple pulls off her wig and tells them the jig is up. Bo and Billie are then tied to a chair and are told the portrait IS of Georgia, but they'll never see her where they're going...(cue the “uh oh” expressions on their faces.)

THE PENTHOUSE
John apologizes for all the mean things he said to Kate, Nicole and Brady, but convinces Brady and Kate that he's not on drugs. Nicole isn't fooled. She speaks out that junkies are the best actors and if they leave him alone, he'll just shoot up again. Brady apologizes for Nicole and Kate and also is convinced that John is the most honest man they know. John grimaces in intense pain listening. John tells Nicole he admits using drugs to walk Belle down the aisle because she lost her mother and deserved that, but he's done. She asks why he was just jabbing a syringe in his thigh when they walked in then. He tells her it was the last time being he was in such pain. She lays it on the line that she's not an employee, family or friend and doesn't care what he thinks of her, so can't be manipulated. She cares too much about Brady to just walk out like they want her to. Brady tells his father it's only because he loves him that he's asking for the name of the ISA physician that prescribed that medication he's using. Cue the wet rags as John starts to sweat some more. Brady calls the ISA doctor who admits being hesitant to prescribe the drug, but did so John could walk Belle down the aisle. He assures Brady that there will be NO REFILLS. Brady apologizes to John and herds Nicole out. Kate and John apologize to each other again. They smile knowing their children are enjoying their wedding night now. He reminds her how she needed to go get some things and assures her he's okay alone. She barely shut the door and he staggers over to the dresser and pulls out a box with a vial in it.

Nicole and Brady decide to take a chilly walk on the pier after leaving the penthouse (yeah, sure). Brady justifies John's actions, but Nicole maintains her stand about John's becoming addicted to drugs. Every addict is smart, but his father is smarter than most. She tells him they have to return and catch him red handed.

Kate returns to John's bedroom. She opens the door saying she forgot her keys and sees the syringe and two vials on the bedside table. She whispers to herself that Nicole was right...as John walks out of the bathroom and glances down at the evidence on the table.......as the previews roll......

Belle tells Shawn that nothing would have happened..and that she still would have married Philip. Shawn says he doesn't believe her.

Holding the drugs, Kate asks John to let her throw them away so he can prove he's not dependent on them..

Billie tells Bo he can criticize her job performance later, right now they have to focus on finding Georgia and getting the hell out of there...

Jennifer asks Hope if she knows what she's getting in to. Hope tells her she senses Bo's in danger, she can feel it and she's the only one who can help.

Summary: Hope gets a feeling that Bo is in danger…Kate and John argue (again) over the drugs…Sami pays a late-night visit to Belle as Mimi tries to run interference…Philip catches Belle and Shawn together.

AT JEN”S HOUSE…She finds Patrick downstairs, he feeling bad that he upset Hope. They talk about it as Chelsea eaves drops from the top of the stairway. Jen is upset with him for the things he said, and he apologizes, saying actually he was trying to make Hope feel better. He continues to defend Billie, saying she is only desperate to find her daughter. Jen says he just doesn’t know Billie like she and Hope do. She can’t understand why he is so defensive of Billie and asks if he is interested in her, which he denies. Meanwhile, Hope has a terrible feeling that Bo is in danger…and it’s all Billie’s fault. She goes over to Jen’s and tells her that Bo isn’t coming back, she is sure that something terrible has happened. She called and talked to the pilot, who told her that Bo told him to get the jet ready, but he never showed up…she fears the worst. She asks Jen to keep an eye on the boys…she is going to Europe to look for Bo. Jen tries to talk her out of it, but Hope is determined. Patrick says if she is going, she needs backup, so he is going with her. She doesn’t want him to, but finally gives in. He quickly packs a bag and they take off, with Jen telling them both to be careful. After they leave, she spots Chelsea on the stairs, who tells Jen that she was having trouble sleeping. She starts questioning her, wondering if Hope has a thing for Patrick. Jen assures her that isn’t the case, relieving Chelsea. To herself, she is relieved she doesn’t have more competition. (oh geez). Outside, Patrick asks Hope about the connection. He asks if she feels that Bo is in emotional or physical danger. She says knowing Billie…BOTH.

MEANWHILE, IN EUROPE…Bo and Billie are tied up as she demands to know from the goons where her daughter is. They taunt her a bit before they leave. Once they are gone, Bo gives Billie the “I-told-you-so” speech, which she doesn’t want to hear. He is angry with her that she couldn’t control herself. But she says they have to concentrate on finding Georgia and getting out of this mess. (LOL at the look on his face). He tells her that Georgia was never there…it was all a trap, but Billie believes that she WAS there. They keep working on the ropes to get free, but are having no luck. Bo is sure that Hope must know by now that he isn’t on his way home and is going ballistic. Billie laughs about that, but he tells her that the mess they are in is NOTHING compared to Hope on a rampage…she is going to KILL him. He fears she will do something impulsive…like coming to look for him and is probably on a plane right now. Billie thinks that is a good thing…for they DO needs some help.

AT THE LOFT…Mimi worries about Jan squealing on her…AND…about Philip catching Shawn and Belle together. Then (just what she needs) Sami shows up, to pay a visit to Belle. (Isn’t it awfully late?…and on Belle’s wedding night?) Meanwhile, Philip is asleep, having dreams of the wedding. He wakes up to find Belle gone. Meanwhile, up on the roof, Belle questions her even being there…after all that Shawn did to her. He asks if he had gotten there in time would she have called off the wedding. She tells him it doesn’t matter…she is married to Philip. He wants to know why she called him and asked him to call him back…would it had made a difference? She says no. He keeps asking the same question and she keeps giving the same answer…she is married to Philip. She tells him to stop torturing her and tells him she would have still married Philip. But he thinks differently as he takes her hand and talks about all the good times they had…their dreams…their promises. She pulls away from him but he places her hand on his chest and kisses her.

Back downstairs, Mimi tries to stop Sami from going in, but Sami says she needs to talk to Belle so she can apologize and wish Belle and Philip well. She starts slamming Shawn, but Mimi takes up for him, saying he still loves Belle. Sami thinks he has a strange way of showing it but Mimi says he was desperate to stop the wedding. Mimi says that Sami is there only because Lucas MADE her come. Sami admits it was his idea, but she does want to make peace with Belle. As Mimi tries to rush her off, Sami becomes suspicious that there is something going on. Philip comes out as Sami tells him that she is there to see Belle. He tells them that Belle isn’t there and asks if they know where she is. Sami asks if she could be on the roof…and thinks she may be up there with Shawn. Philip goes tearing up there. Mimi and Sami argue as Sami accuses Mimi of knowing all along and Mimi accuses Sami of only causing trouble.

Back on the roof, Belle tells Shawn to stop it, but he kisses her again…just as Philip walks through the door.

AT THE PENTHOUSE…Kate comes back and sees the drugs and syringe on the nightstand. John walks in as she accuses him of lying to them and he denies it. He tells her the same story again but she refuses to believe him…and says they only want to help him. He gets angry and agitated and tells her to get out of there. She refuses to leave and they start yelling at each other. She says if he wants to convince her that he is not on the drugs, then throw them away. He tells her that she wins…do it, so she walks over and tosses them in the trash.

Meanwhile, in the castle, Marlena is a nervous wreck, because they don’t know what happened after Shawn crashed into the church. That is when the feed stopped. Roman tries to assure her that no one was hurt and that everyone was okay. She wants to believe him, but can’t be sure. She still can’t understand WHY Belle was marrying Philip, knowing how much she loved Shawn. She says they were destined to be together, like Bo & Hope…and her & John. She feels guilty, saying that SHE is the reason that Shawn and Belle broke up. She talks about all of the couples in Salem being torn apart and Roman blames it all on DiMera. He assures her that they will get out of there and get home. She tells him that she feels anxious…about what will happen next. John and Kate both think they are dead, are comforting each other, and worries where that will lead. Roman tries to get her to stop torturing herself, but she says they will lose the loves of their lives. About that time, the video feed starts again and they see John and Kate talking. Marlena prays for some information that everyone was okay and she is relieved as she gets enough info. Kate and John talk about the wedding and John wishes that Marlena could have been there. Roman and Marlena watch as Kate puts her head on John’s chest and he says he doesn’t know what he would do without her. The feed stops suddenly after that as Marlena says so much has changed. She also notes that John looked pale and as if he was in pain. She says that life in Salem has changed and they may not ever be able to turn back the clock. They both agree that talking like that doesn’t help…and that at least they still have each other. Roman tells her that he will always be there for her and they hug…and kiss. She hugs him tightly and cries.

Back at the penthouse…John bids Kate good night and she goes to leave, but on her way out, she takes the drugs and syringe out of the trash can. He asks her to leave them…he needs it. They begin to argue again as he tries to get them away from her. He either pushes her or she falls and appears to hit her head on the dresser. She is out cold as he calls her name…and the previews show…

Nicole (To Brady): I tried to change to show you how much I love you…but it will never be enough…you will never love me like you love Chloe (as we see Chloe listening from the shadows)…

Sami (to Mimi): It seems like there is something going on between you and psycho-Jan…what is it? (Mimi:) Nothing!…Sami, for once in your life why don’t you mind your own damned business…

Shawn (to Belle, in front of Philip): If I had gotten there in time, would you have called it off?…

Summary: The wee hours of New Years Day continues as our nocturnal Salemites are still wide awake and doing what they do best, argue.

AT THE CLINIC
Nancy visits Chloe at the clinic and tries to talk/feed her out of her pity party/depression. She urges Chloe to call Brady, but Chloe doesn't want to be a burden on him. Nancy threatens to call him herself if Chloe doesn't, but Chloe vows she'd never forgive her and doesn't want to lose her mom in her life too. Nancy agrees not to call, but reminds Chloe how one little call would bring Brady to her side. Chloe asks Nancy for some soup, so Nancy happily agrees to do that. As soon as Nancy leaves for the cafeteria (thought it was a small country clinic she was in?) Chloe pops out of bed, fully dressed, saying she has to handle things her own way, and leaves. Later Nancy arrives with a soup and sandwich for Chloe and finds a note from Chloe saying Nancy was right and she's gone to see Brady.

ON THE PIER
Nicole and Brady are still standing on the freezing pier in the middle of the night (what's up with these rich people when they have warm mansions to argue in?). The conversation continues as she tries to warn him he needs to help John before he gets any more addicted. Brady assures Nicole that John is not the type to get addicted and lie. She asks if he's going to listen to his father and leave her after using her? Denying that, he tells her she just doesn't have faith in people and she interprets it as she can't love. Nicole breaks down saying no matter how hard she's changed, he'll never love her like he does Chloe. She tells him her love will never compare to his for Chloe's and walks away with him in her wake.

AT THE PENTHOUSE....
A replay of Kate taking the drugs and John arguing with her to leave them and accidentally pushing her. He bends down and shakes her, urging her to wake up. He takes the drugs out of her hand and she comes to, telling him she's okay. She just bumped her head she says. He apologizes and she tells him he couldn't help himself and must have really needed those drugs. He assures her he's not an addict and will stop the drugs tomorrow (our male Scarlett O'Hara). Kate recalls how Curtis and her children fought addictions and knows it tears them apart (yeah, they all are related to Kate..what does that tell ya?) She tells John it's not too late if he starts NOW. He listens and says all he wanted to do was walk his baby girl down the aisle and dance with her. Using what happened with her just now as an example, she tells him things like that will only get worse, nothing will matter but the drugs. She asks him for the drugs, if not for himself, for his kids or Marlena..reminding him how he had promised Marlena to always be there. Marlena would be devastated if she knew what he was doing to himself. Looking at the picture of him and Marlena, he says “oh my God, what's happening to me”. Kate comforts him saying she's not Marlena, but she's there and will help him if he wants her to. With tears in both their eyes, John hands her the drugs. Kate takes them and says he'll be okay. She'll call Lexie. He says he can't let her do that. He can't go to the hospital and she figures out it's not because he's in charge of the drug theft, he's the one who stole the drugs. Saying it wouldn't be good for Basic Black or the kids if this got out, and he doesn't want to cause them any more pain. Kate understands, but he has to beat this and she needs to call Lexie. He has another idea, the ISA will help him. Recalling they were the ones who prescribed those drugs, he admits lying about that doctor, saying the doctor owed him and did it under duress. He only is sure he misses his wife and wishes she were here for him. Kate tells him she isn't his wife, but is there for him as they hug. He admits he has a problem and she might have just saved his life. She wants to call Brady and he's worried about how he'll let Brady down after he believed in him.

AT THE KIRIAKIS MANSION..
Chloe goes to the mansion and sees it's dark inside, figuring no one's home (hello, it must be after 3 am..MAYBE they're asleep?). Remembering Tuesday is Henderson's day off, she remembers where the hidden key is (no alarm system?) and lets herself in. She sees a picture of Brady and knows Nancy was right. She needs him and knows he needs to know she's alive. Brady comes downstairs and ask if he's dreaming, is she still alive? She tells him he's not and unveils her face to him. Of course this is only in her mind as he's still on the freezing (?) pier with Nicole. He tells her he remembers when she was bald after chemo and loved her then as well. He kisses her and her scars disappear, she tells him she loves him and they kiss.

Outside Brady chases after Nicole as she walks up to the front door. She unlocks the front door, telling him to just forget everything as Chloe hears them come in and hides in the closet. Kate calls Brady just as they walk in the door and tells him Nicole was right, John is addicted to the pain meds. Kate assures him that she'll stay with John and he doesn't need to come over. Brady apologizes to Nicole and tells her she was right, his dad does have a drug problem. Nicole opens the closet to hang up her coat and says “Chloe!”

AT THE LOFT
We return to Mimi and Sami arguing about how Mimi knew where Belle was (with Shawn on the roof). Mimi tries to keep Sami's voice from shouting and she asks why, who's going to hear? Duh, of course, Rex and Jan walk in and Sami tells Rex that his girlfriend is intentionally trying to destroy Philip and Belle's wedding night (so much for sisterly love Sami). They ask how and Sami blurts out about how Mimi knew where Belle was. Sami tells them that Mimi arranged the meeting with Belle and Shawn and Rex is annoyed that Mimi promised she wouldn't and did so. Sami tells them Shawn's on the roof with Philip and Rex heads up there. Jan grabs Mimi by the back of the hair and yanks, warning her she will pay big time for doing that as Sami watches, taking it all in. Jan leaves and Sami asks what Psycho Jan has on her and wonders what the secret is after Mimi leaves.

A replay of Philip bursting out onto the roof and launching himself at Shawn. The two guys fight until Belle screams for them to stop and Philip rushes to her side. She tells them that Shawn wasn't forcing himself on her, but Philip wants to call the cops. Shawn stands mutely watching as Belle tells him no. Shawn finally mentions maybe Belle has second thoughts. Philip rushes towards Shawn as Rex arrives and breaks up the two of them. He tells Philip to take it easy and for Shawn to leave. Shawn demands Belle answer his question about her phone call to him. Would she have called off the wedding if he had gotten to her in time? They all watch for her answer. Jan arrives, as does Sami. Belle pulls Mimi aside asking how Philip found out and Sami gives her her coat. Mimi lets Belle know that Sami told Philip and Belle asks Sami how she could do that. Jan tries to get Shawn to leave with her, but he tells her to leave him alone and heads downstairs like everyone else. Jan warns Mimi she had better start packing her bags and warn the newlyweds she's moving in with them (Philip's supposedly shipping out anyway..unless the Marines are giving him time for a honeymoon now). Sami overhears around the corner as she puts her coat on and learns that Mimi was pregnant and didn't tell Rex..another juicy secret to her collection...and leaves.

Rex tries to get Shawn to leave, but Shawn tells him that Belle will have to admit she doesn't love Philip because she still loves him and married the wrong guy. Philip and Belle round the corner and overhear this....AS THE PREVIEWS ROLL...

Bonnie to Maggie: “I'm married to Mickey now and my answer is NO.”
Maggie hands a check to Bonnie and says: “maybe this will be enough to turn your NO into a YES.”

Mimi to Sami: “Funny you're accusing me of being a liar when you're Salem's all time champ.
Sami to Mimi: “I'd be a lot nicer to me, a lot nicer.”

Shawn to Belle (and company): Do you still have feelings for me?”

Brady to Nicole: “Who was in the closet?”
Nicole's reply: “Chloe, she's alive!”

Even though the cast seems to have had a 2 week hiatus for the Holidays (see tape date) it is STILL the same endless night in Salem, & all the same arguing continues.Yawwnnnn….zzzzzzzz Shawn is demanding Belle answer his question, Sami listens in to Jan & Mimi, Chloe chickens out and once more takes off, while Maggie tries to convince Bonnie to take a hike.

BONNIE IS WATCHING old movies with Max, bragging to herself how she is just as glamorous, maybe even more so, as Dolores Del Rio. Maggie walks in, (looking oh so beautiful), grabs the remote, telling Bonnie that her spell is over, to pack up & get out of Dodge. They argue about Mickey, but Bonnie is determined to keep her man. She leaves for more beer, as her bottle is empty, & Maggie talks to Max a bit, and gets an idea & leaves. When she returns, she offers Bonnie a check for mucho dinero to leave. Bonnie is shocked at the amount (So, if Maggie has access to her money, then she must have been declared alive again, so how come Mickey hasn’t filed annulment papers. If Maggie is alive, then she is still is wife, and marriage to Bonnie not valid!) & Maggie claims she kept her profits from Countess Wilhelmina & Tuscany separate and squirreled away a nice nest egg. Bonnie says no dice, she is remaining Mrs. Mickey Horton, but refuses to give Maggie the check back, saying she is going to show it to Mickey, so he will know what a low-down skunk Maggie is. She then sics Max on Maggie, & he chases her upstairs.

BRADY IS ON PHONE WITH KATE, making sure John is o.k., while Nicole goes to hang up her coat in the closet. She sees Chloe, & faints. Brady rushes over, picks her up to carry her to sofa in library. Of course he doesn’t see Chloe, did we ever think he would? LOLOL Nicole comes to, insists she saw Chloe, (who is listening outside the door) & they go to closet….(sure, like 5 minutes later Chloe would still be there, Ha) & Nicole mentions her wearing a hood. Brady thinks it is his sweatshirt that he used to let Chloe wear….(is that lame or what, and why is it in the hall coat closet?). Chloe is hiding in the foyer, as Brady talks of what a beautiful face Chloe had, & how he will never find someone as gorgeous as her again. Nicole gets upset, rushes off, Brady follows. He apologizes & they kiss. In the hall, Chloe looks in the mirror, calling herself a monster. Brady carries Nicole upstairs. Chloe is back in her hospital bed, writing to Brady in her journal.

SAMI CONTINUES TO EAVESDROP as Jan continues to threaten Mimi. She is delighted to be learning more juicy secrets, & mentions she already knew Jan was drugging Shawn. Meanwhile Shawn is insisting to Rex that Belle still loves him. Belle & Philip overhear this, & Phil insists Belle tell Shawn who she really loves, so they can end this. Belle insists on talking to Philip privately, while Shawn refuses to listen to a calmer Rex . Philip talks of all of Shawn’s past misdeeds, while Belle wonders why the big change in Shawn. Philip says if she does not straighten Shawn out, he will be stalking her when Phil is on other side of the world, fighting for his country. (guess we know now that will be soon, I suppose) Jan & Mimi go over the same ground again and again, each threatening to tell the other’s secrets, yada, yada, & finally leave the roof. (all that snow up there, no one has a coat, or even shivers, heck, you don’t even see their breath! Ha.)

Shawn goes over to Belle’s apt. and again wants the “answer to his question”. (What a wedding night, egads). Rex scolds Mimi for interfering in Belle & Philip’s marriage, & for not telling him. He talks of their eventual marriage, and having a family. Cue Jan to come in, overhear the last part, & start to babble on about babies & lies. Rex is perplexed, tells her they are having a fight and to get lost. She leaves, Mimi begins to cry on Rex’s shoulder. They talk, & Rex makes her promise to respect Belle & Philip’s vows from now on. He leaves to check on Shawn, & Sami pops in. They have a few words, & Sami warns Mimi to be careful how she treats Sami – hinting without saying so – that she knows something. Shawn pressures Belle to answer his question – if he had arrived in time, would she have still married Philip. Philip wants her to tell Shawn who she loves, but has to take a call. He gets a strange look on his face, then tells Belle to answer. And the previews show…..

Shawn, once again, yelling to Belle that he isn’t leaving until he gets his answer. She says …I’ll give you my answer right now.

John holds onto Kate, saying he doesn’t think he’ll make it.

The longest night continues with same old discussions, but they look like they've finally wound down at least as Philip and Belle head up to enjoy what's left of their wedding night, Sami (and Lucas) return home, Kate helps John get through the night and Marlena and Roman appear to have given up hope of returning home.

AT THE CASTLE....
Marlena's frustration grows as Roman reminds her that's what Tony wants and how they still have each other. Cue flashback she has of the last time they felt the same way on the island and kissed. She tells him they use to be married and needed to comfort each other before. Roman brings up the scenario that they might never get home and are all each other has. She can't be sure they'll ever get home.

AT THE PENTHOUSE...
John is going through withdrawals in bed (think he'll ever change the floral motif to black sheets?) Kate hears him wail and rushes in and into his clutches. He knows he's got to get off the pain killers, just not tonight he begs. He tells her what he's feeling and she unsuccessfully tries the positive thinking approach. She weakens as he asks for her to give him a little something to hold him through the night and leaves the room. She returns with a bottle of prescription sedatives to help him sleep. He tosses them on the bed saying they won't help at all. She lectures him he can't let the drugs win and he finally agrees to the sedatives. He starts pouring some in his hand and she tells him JUST TWO (then only GIVE him two Kate, good grief, don't leave the bottle with him woman!) He complains about how cold he is while rubbing his shoulders and she peels off her robe and crawls into bed to warm him (Stupid me, I would've just gotten him a sweatshirt out of the drawer.) Of course the tv is turned on for Marlena and Roman to see Kate on top of John and what looks like in the throes of romance) Obviously Tony has the sound turned off, but Marlena agrees that she can't deny John doesn't believe she's alive and has given up on her and their love as she wipes tears off her face. She tells him that Kate has given up on him too. John tells Kate that if someone walked in on them right now, they'd get the wrong idea. The sedative has kicked in and he dozes off to sleep as she strokes his face and promises to be there for him. The audio is now turned on and Marlena and Roman hear John tell Kate that he'd never thought he could get through this without Marlena, but with her support...as Kate kisses his cheek and tells him to get some sleep. Later John is talking in his sleep, telling Doc how much he loves her. Kate softly says that if Marlena's gone, so is Roman. Later Eugenia calls (hark, is daylight approaching Salem or Eugenia calling in the middle of the night?) for a status update and Kate gives it to her. Breaking up Sami and Lucas' wedding is her next plan of attack.

Marlena tells Roman that at least she knows John is alive and Belle is okay. She tells him Tony has taken everything from them, but especially John and Kate. She tells him how she told John on the raft if anything happened to her and she didn't make it home to move on without her. John told her it was okay to move on with Roman if she knew she would never make it home to him because she knew she was loved. Roman confirms he's never been able to completely get over her and she admits the same to him,yada yada, as he leads her and her chain to the bed and covers her (fully clothed) with a blanket to sleep. He promises to not leave her, she's stuck with him. She tells him she wouldn't have it any other way, turns and kisses him.

AT THE LOFT
The adrenalin pumped noctural gang continues their discussion in Belle's loft. Philip tells Belle his base commander just called and they may be shipping out sooner then expected. She asks how soon and he says this may be their last night together (oh, and so mememorable a wedding night it's been...feels like it's lasted a few weeks..oh wait, it HAS, LOL!) We see Belle picturing Philip in combat with smoke and guns being fired and tells him he can't leave her now (especially since he hasn't trained since what, summer?) Shawn pipes up with the sooner he leaves, the happier everyone will be and Belle turns on him for saying that when Philip's going off to fight for them and their country. He clarifies he didn't mean it that way, just that Philip rushed Belle into marrying him. Belle can't take it anymore and Philip orders Shawn and Jan out. Shawn refuses to leave without Belle's answer and she's ready to give it to him (oh boy, is she!).

At the guys loft, Sami warns Mimi to stop threatening her OR ELSE. Mimi tells her she can't do that, but Sami brings up she has stuff on Mimi and she knows it. Rex and Lucas both arrive asking what's going on. At first Lucas is irritated that Sami is interfering, but then is surprised to learn that Mimi arranged for Belle and Shawn to meet on the roof on her wedding night. Mimi tries to defend herself and she and Sami start bickering about who's the biggest liar. Mimi tells Sami she doesn't know anything about her and when Sami challenges that, Rex asks what it is. (oops) Mimi warns them Sami will come up with a good lie as Sami warns her not to push it. Lucas yells at Sami about being disappointed in her. Rex wants to know what Sami has to say about his girlfriend and Sami says nothing. Mimi apologizes to Rex, but calls his sister is a bitch. Sami whispers to Mimi that “she's toast” and leaves with Lucas. Mimi tells Rex they need to check on Belle and Shawn and head for Belle's loft. Belle tells Shawn she's in love with Philip and how he put her before himself. She remembers the things that are important and how he left her and didn't face their problems. Philip tells Shawn he was with Jan long before he was with Belle. Belle tells Shawn she called him from the church for closure, nothing else. Belle looks at Philip and tells him that he's the truest, kindest, bravest, most honest loving man she's every known (as Jan tells herself to keep up with all those adjectives, LOL) He's the one she wants to spend her life with. She turns and Philip kisses her as Shawn watches. Philip tells them that Shawn has his answer and he wants to spend their wedding night alone with his wife as he leads Belle upstairs to their room. Shawn is shaken as Jan holds him from behind and Rex and Mimi leave. (Think I would have let them out and locked the door) Upstairs Philip softly asks Belle what she's feeling and she breaks down crying, saying it's for him. She can't stand the thought of losing him and this may be their last night together. He suggests they make the most of it and they fall on the bed to do that.

Back at the guys loft, Rex tries to tell Shawn it's over, Belle loves Philip. Shawn turns to Mimi saying she knows the truth and asks her to arrange another meeting with him and Belle. Mimi apologizes and says she can't do that. Belle told him how she felt. Jan pipes up and agrees, urging Shawn to go to bed, saying the line of the day...IT'S BEEN A LONG DAY! Shawn opens a beer and Jan tells herself that Belle will never betray her wedding vows and he'll have to come back to her. Shawn looks up at the vent (oh brother..tell me we won't hear moaning).

SAMI AND LUCAS...
return to their apartment. She tells him about Mimi's abortion and how Rex doesn't know. Lucas is surprised to hear this and Sami tells him she overheard Jan and Mimi talking about it. She suggests they return to the loft and tell his brother about his perfect girlfriend's aborting his child without his knowledge and to consider it a reward for her (Sami's) good behavior. Lucas tells her it's none of their business and asks why she likes to turn other's lives upside down. She says they like to do it to her and it's only fair. She agrees, they don't have to go over there and tell him, she'll just call him on the phone and struts over to the phone and dials it. Later Lucas grabs the phone away and hangs it up. Sami argues they've done things way worse then she has..which Lucas challenges and Sami agrees maybe not, (good one)..but she wants revenge. He tells her pain will never heal if she keeps looking for revenge. Look forward to a good life with him and Will and move on. He suggests she let Rex and Mimi deal with their own life/problems and Kate help John. He knows she misses her parents, but if she takes the high road and show some integrity like her parents would want. She agrees not to say anything as long as no one messes with her. She vows to destroy anyone who messes with her (split screen of Kate on the phone with Eugenia as she says this)...as the PREVIEWS ROLL....

Rex asks Mimi for one last time if she's keeping anything from him and she says NO, of course not.

Lexie to John (and Kate)..oh my God, you're the one who's been stealing the drugs from the hospital...

Philip asks Rex to make sure Shawn stays away from Belle and Rex agrees he will...

Summary: Is Desperate Days trying to copy the storytelling style of ‘Desperate Housewives’? Well, it doesn’t work and falls way short. As Sami visits Father Jansen, she serves as a narrator (of sorts) telling him the secrets of her enemies. As she tells all to him, the stories Jan, Shawn, Mimi, Rex, Belle, Philip, John and Kate play out.

SAMI’S STORY…It is now morning in Salem as Sami visits Father Jansen at St. Lukes to discuss her wedding plans. He tells her not to worry, a new stained glass window has been ordered and repairs have already begun (when?…during the middle of the night?) He asks if John will walk her down the aisle and she says NO WAY. She goes on to say that John Black is a jerk and that he is shacking up with Kate Roberts. She talks about how Kate hates her but promised Lucas that she would try to get along with her. She tells him that she is trying to be good, but she has a list of enemies that is growing…like Mimi Lockhart. Then she talks about Jan and how she is responsible for breaking Belle’s heart, then about Philip and Belle and how they already have trouble in paradise because Belle still loves Shawn. Little bubbles appear above her head (with Belle and Philip, John and Kate, Jan and Shawn in them) as she takes out a pin and bursts them, literally. (SO over the top, IMO). He asks her if she plans on hurting anyone and lectures her on how that is wrong. She agrees with him and changes gears, wanting to talk about the wedding. But he is worried about her and asks if she wants him to hear her confession. She doesn’t, but realizes that he being a priest, she can confide in him and tell him all the secrets that are eating her up inside. So she jumps in feet first and tells him that Mimi had an abortion and how she (Sami) wants to tell Rex (since he IS her half brother) but she has promised Lucas that she will be a “good little girl scout” and stay out of it. She also blurts out that Jan drugged Shawn and that is whey he crashed the wedding. She also tells him that Shawn wasn’t the only one strung out at the wedding and goes on to tell him about John shooting up in the church…AND saw him stealing drugs at the hospital. (Sami is on a roll…once she starts, she can’t stop, lol). Then she calls Lexie an “ass” for putting him in charge of the investigation (Okay…I agree with that one). But she says because of Lucas she has kept quiet. Jansen calls Lucas a good man and suggests that she is just being paranoid that everyone is against her. But she is sure they are…even her own sister. She complains that Belle promised to let her marry first, then broke her promise and that she doesn’t even love Philip. As soon as he is gone, it will take about 30 seconds to break her vows. She tells him that Belle has already snuck out to meet with Shawn on the roof (their special place) and how Mimi helped set it up. Father Jansen takes a moment and then tells her that he thinks she is too involved with other people’s lives (gee, ya think???) Sami says that maybe he and Lucas are right…maybe she should just live and let live. BUT, she says if she loses Lucas, Salem had better look out…she will be out for blood. She says as long as she is happy, everything will be fine. He tries to counsel her, but she says she knows she isn’t perfect and has made mistakes. But she feels that when someone hurts her, she needs to lash back. He tells her that life is a journey, but there are bumps along the way as she chuckles and says she doesn’t handle bumps very well. But, if she and Lucas are happy, all will be okay. He warns her not to play havoc with others’ lives. She says she is marrying the man of her dreams then she brings up Brandon’s name. She tells him that they are not legally divorced yet, but on second thought, she is sure that he is gone and will never be returning to Salem.

AT THE PENTHOUSE…John wakes up drenched in sweat. Kate brings him breakfast and wants to call Lexie, but he won’t hear of it. He spills his water so she takes the tray away and calls Lexie anyway “for his own good”. Lexie drops everything (apparently) and rushes right over to find a worried Kate, who tells her that John got drugs from an ISA doctor. They head upstairs as Kate explains about his withdrawals. He is angry that Kate called her and tells Lexie that if she can’t help him…just go away. It hits her like a brick and she FINALLY realizes that HE is the one who stole the drugs and needs to call the police. Kate begs her not to, even though John admits to it. She checks him, telling him that he is hypertensive and in danger of a heart attack or stroke. She proceeds to pull out a bottle of magic pills (that she just happens to have in her bag) and tells Kate to give him just one. Kate and Lexie go back downstairs as Kate explains how rough he is having it and that she promised to take care of him…after all they are family now (since their kids married). Kate goes off on Shawn, wishing he were in jail. Lexie tells her that Hope left with Patrick to find Bo, which upsets Kate. Seeing that upset her, Lexie asks if Kate was hoping that Bo and Billie would get back together…to which Kate admits. Upstairs, John is still chewing the scenery, (oops, I mean grimacing in pain) having flashbacks of Marlena. He calls out that he needs her, but in his head, she turns into Kate. Back downstairs, Lexie gets an urgent call from Celeste telling her that Abe fell and needs her so she rushes off. In her haste, she leaves behind her PDA. Kate is wondering how to stop Sami and Lucas from marrying and finds it. She sends a message to Brandon, telling him that Abe needs him and to come home immediately.

AT REX & MIMI’S…she finds Rex downing aspirin for his headache. He says he couldn’t sleep and needs to talk to her about something bothering him. He is sure she is hiding something and tells her that he was shocked to learn that SHE was the one that helped Shawn and Belle be alone. She apologizes, but says they are her friends and thinks they belong together. He says that they must be honest with each other…is there anything else she is hiding from him?…She says of course not.

Meanwhile, Jan is standing over Shawn as he sleeps, wondering why he didn’t want to make love to her. She says that is what he needs and crawls into bed with him and starts kissing him. He looks at her and sees Belle. When he calls her the wrong name, she gets mad. He, in turn tells her to leave him alone and storms off to the bathroom. She says she needs to figure a way to keep Belle out of his head and knows just who can help her. (Any guesses?)

Across the hall, Belle wakes up as Philip tells her he loves her, but she only sees Shawn when she looks at him. He asks what’s wrong, but she says it’s because he will be leaving and she doesn’t want him to. He doesn’t want to either, but he took an oath. She is worried about him even though she is also proud. He says that their love will get him through it all and when he gets back, he wants them to start talking about a family. Later, he finds a note from her, saying she needed to go out to get something for him. He looks at her picture, saying nothing will ever come between them. He calls someone, needing their help and needs to see them right away. Well, it was Rex he called, needing a favor from him. He talks about how much he loves Belle and needs Rex to watch over her while he is gone. He wants him to make sure that Shawn stays away from her. He is sure that as soon as he is gone, Shawn will go after her. Of course Rex promises he won’t let that happen.

Mimi and Jan run into each other…Jan can’t find Shawn. She asks Rex, but he doesn’t know either as he rushes off, telling them he needs to leave for a while…it’s personal. After he is gone, Jan informs Mimi that Rex seems to have secrets as well. Jan starts to threaten Mimi again but Mimi says that if Jan tells Rex, then she won’t have anything to hold over here…besides, she will be going down as well. She will tell Shawn how she held him captive all summer. But Jan says that will never happen, she isn’t worried. She wants Mimi to play nice and make sure that Shawn and Belle keep their distance from each other…or she can kiss Rex bye-bye. She reminds Mimi that she is actually doing her a favor by not airing her dirty laundry and she will not tell her secret…as long as she lays off trying to get Shawn and Belle together.

But it looks like Philip doesn’t have to leave town, nor do they need Mimi’s intervention, in getting together. Downtown, they run into each other (literally). She walks away and goes into a jewelry store, wanting to get a medal for Philip for protection. Shawn follows her in, wanting to talk. She admits that she still cares about him, but he thinks there is more and that she still loves him. He urges her to admit she made a mistake by marrying Philip. The sales lady returns with a medal that she says she also gave to her nephew when he left for war. Belle begins to have flashes of Philip in the throes of battle, hands the lady her money and rushes out of the store. Shawn is hot on her heels as she tells him that Philip is her husband and what they had is over. Shawn says it will never be over. He says he knows she loves him and every time he looks in her eyes, he can feel it and is sure she does too. He grabs her and kisses her…as the previews show…

Billie (yelling at Bo): You don’t care about finding Georgia…all you care about is getting out of here and finding Hope…

Patrick grabs Hope and kisses her as a camera flashes…

Kate (to Lucas):If Sami doesn’t get the pearls is she going to call off the wedding? Lucas: No, we just won’t have the big wedding…we’ll just elope. Kate: NOOOO!

John is slinging something up against the wall of the bedroom…just as Sami walks in…

Summary: The special effects guys got new flashback/dream tools and use them often as we find ourselves either at the Penthouse as Sami and Lucas visit and in Europe as Hope and Patrick check into the only Inn in town.

AT THE PENTHOUSE...
Alone downstairs, Eugenia remembers her discussion with Kate about the speedy reconstruction of St. Luke's. We hear Kate telling her about the floral arrangements she's taken care of for the wedding (supposedly) and how she herself had emailed Brandon to return to Salem.

Lucas and Sami get off the elevator at the penthouse for Grandma Evans'/Marlena's pearls. Sami needs them for her wedding (oops, think Belle has them, doesn't she?). She hopes John didn't sell them to support his drug habit. Lucas suggests they ask nicely for the pearls, but Sami doesn't agree, saying they're HERS and even Father Jansen knows John's a junkie as she confessed as much to him. Sami said God was maybe busy, so she wanted to make sure he knew about John. Lucas said if God knew about every bad thing they did, they'd have fried years ago, LOL. Sami promises to be a good girl as John IS still her step father. Lucas offers to get her some pearls if that's all she wants (aww), but she tells him these are special ones. He tells her he loves her and can't wait to be her husband.

John is dreaming about being with Marlena as he goes through withdrawals. He pulls Kate into his arms thinking she's Marlena. John apologizes, telling her his head's playing tricks on him and he thought she was Marlena. She tells him about her internet searching results about him needing counseling. He tells her that he's not ready for that yet, he just needs someone he can depend upon, her. She leaves him and he rips up the papers she brought him and growls he just wants the drugs she threw out. Kate goes down to see Eugenia and she tells her she put Brandon on her buddy list and he hasn't been on line all day. Sami and Lucas knock on the door and Kate peeks to see who's there. They're laughing at something on her phone and don't see as she tells Eugenia to hide. Sami nicely asks where John is and Kate refuses to let her in. Sami tries to play nice and tells Kate why they're there. She goes to wash her hands of flu germs and lets Lucas tell Kate about their eloping if need be. Kate yells no as Sami refreshes her lipstick and heads up to see John while Lucas keeps Kate busy. Lucas and Kate argue about Sami as she figures it's just prewedding jitters and Sami wants a big wedding to be the center of attention. Eugenia waves from behind Lucas' back trying to clue her in about what Sami's doing. Lucas clues in that something's up. He demands she look him in the eye and explain as Eugenia dashes behind the curtains.

Upstairs John is wheeling around his bedroom looking for drugs. He hugs Doc's old doctor bag that he remembered she kept around for emergencys. Sami walks in and finds John thrashing threw Marlena's bag. John is annoyed and says he has the flu. Sami asks for her mom's pearls for her wedding and John asks “what pearls?”

MEANWHILE...IN EUROPE...
Hope and Patrick arrive in Europe. He wants them to find a couple of rooms and rest, but she is in a hurray to find Bo and Billie after talking to the BB pilot and learning he hadn't heard from them. Patrick points out the Dimera Castle and Hope figures Stefano and Tony worked this out before they died. He warns her this whole village is dangerous and admits being there before a long time ago. Everyone is part of the Dimera organization. He says they need a plan to fly under the Dimera radar and they go into THE Inn. He says there isn't any other hotels in the area and Patrick spots a surveillance camera above the desk and pulls Hope into his arms. They pretend to be in love and ask for a room as the male clerk tells them about another American couple who left and didn't check out..but couldn't keep their hands off each other either. (has anyone thought about disguises? LOL?) Hope pretends they met a lovely American couple at the airport and wonder if they were the same couple and asks how old they were. The clerk excuses himself as Patrick warns her to pretend they're an engaged couple like they said. Staring at the camera doesn't help Hope, as Patrick cleverly spreads out a map to ask what they should do first as Hope slides the register out to look at it. The clerk returns and asks what she's doing. Patrick apologizes that they used the counter for their map and signs in. Afterwards he asks if she saw any signatures she recognized and a flashback of what she found...a page had been ripped out and all that was left was “eed” that Billie must have written. They go up to their room and get into Bo and Billie's room which looks like they just left it with clothes and bags around. Hope can't believe how stupid Billie was to check in using her own name. Patrick tries to rationalize she didn't know it's a Dimera town, but Hope (like us) say she's a “trained” ISA agent and should have known better. Hope senses Bo's in danger and the register page being ripped out confirms it.

Inside the castle Georgia awakens Billie, asking if those men hurt them. Billie tells the girl how she's her birth mother and promises all will be well now..then calls out to Bo. Turns out she was either drugged or dreaming and Georgia's not there. We return to find Bo undoing his ropes, then hers, as she yells out that Georgia was there. He tells her they must have been drugged and how they have to get out of there. He looks outside figuring Hope's probably on the way (maybe she had a GSA implanted in him?). He goes to check out back and Billie looks at the portrait as Georgia asks if she's all right. Bo returns telling them what they're going to do. She refuses to go anywhere without their daughter (what a ditz!!) Bo tries to rationalize that they're sitting ducks if they stay there. Billie demands that Georgia was there and rants when Bo wants to leave. (she's wearing on my last nerve) Bo explains that both Georgia AND Hope are depending on them and they need to get out of there. She apologizes and they stand around gabbing as she whines about finding her little girl and he's right (how about a little snack before leaving? GET OUT OF THERE!!) He only saw one guard and has a plan...he has a plan and we see Billie calling for help. Bo taps the guy on the shoulder and Billie grabs his gun. (if Bo could sneak out, why didn't they both just do so?) The goon grabs Bo and has another gun which he points at Bo and asks Billie who she'll choose..Bo or her daughter. She demands to know where their daughter is and he says she's hiding in plain site and tells Billie to look up. We see someone combing their long hair through the sheers and Billie knows she was right, Georgia was there all along (probably the other goon combing his wig)...as the previews roll...

Sami blasts Kate and John for shacking up together and asks how low can they get?

Patrick and Hope are outside when a goon tells Patrick to put his hands up. We see Hope pointing her gun and willing Patrick to move out of the way so she can shoot the goon.

Shawn tells himself he's got to figure out how to handle this situation with Belle himself, but he's running out of time...

Mimi asks Belle if she's going to admit that she's still in love with Shawn...

Another ho-hum episode, with lots of Shawn/Belle flashbacks from yesterday, as Philip prepares to ship out, &Sami demands her pearls, while a much smarter Hope & Patrick find Bo & Billie.

BELLE RETURNS HOME to Philip, but remembers her encounter with Shawn at the jewelry store. Across the hall, Shawn is also remembering, as Mimi joins him, & he tells her about kissing Belle. Shawn begs Mimi to help him talk to Belle again, but she refuses, citing how mad Rex was, & the promise she made. Shawn feels he has to talk to Belle b/4 Philip leaves, as Belle is so loyal, she would be true to him while he is gone. Mimi tells him, yes….and Belle was true to Shawn the whole summer, tho he never believed it. Shawn says he realizes that, talks of his confusion, how he doesn’t remember the summer at all, doesn’t know how he ended up w/Jan or Belle w/Philip, just what Jan told him……& he doesn’t trust Jan. (Oh, did the light bulb finally go on, Shawn?) Shawn agrees that Mimi should not anger Rex again. The phone rings for Mimi, & it is Belle.

Philip kisses Belle, & she pictures it being Shawn. She gives him the medal, & he puts it on, promising to never take it off. He gifts her with a journal containing his overseas address, & a possible e-mail addy, but notes he may not be able to pick up the e-mail very often. They toast each other with champagne, and eat some of their wedding cake. He goes upstairs to finish packing, & Belle has another flashback of her & Shawn. She calls Mimi to come over. When Mimi arrives, Belle tells her she has to help her talk to Shawn once more.

AT THE PENTHOUSE Lucas continues to discuss Sami w/Kate, while Eugenia runs out to hide on the balcony, trying to signal Kate about Sami being upstairs. Lucas thinks his mom is acting odd, which she is, lol, & talks of how Sami thinks Kate & Eugenia are conspiring against her, which Kate denies. She goes to check on Sami in the bathroom. She figures Sami has gone to see John, & asks Lucas to just take her home. Upstairs, Sami is exploding at John, who has told her he gave the pearls to Belle as a Christmas gift from her mother. Sami rants as only Sami can, while Eugenia shivers outside, & both Kate & Lucas come up to the bedroom. John tells Sami to go buy herself some pearls, send the bill to him, which infuriates her all the more. She stalks off, going downstairs w/Lucas. John tells Kate he was wrong, that of course Marlena would want her lst born daughter to have those pearls, but he was in such pain, & wanted Belle to have a nice wedding, yada, yada. Kate says she has called Lexie, who promised to send something over to help John. Downstairs, Sami is yakking it up about junkie John, who never coughed once, if he supposedly had the flu as Kate stated. They hear the fax machine….and Sami sees a fax coming in. Lucas realizes it is for John, telling Sami not to look, but of course Sami does, sees it is from Lexie, and tells Lucas she was right, here is the proof that John is a junkie.

OVER IN EUROPE Patrick & Hope talk of her feelings of Bo being in danger & rehash yesterday. They search Bo & Billie’s room, & Hope spots a pad of paper, used to write an address down. She uses a pencil to bring the address up, and they take off. Meanwhile, Bo urges Billie to go up after Georgia, while the Arnold wannabe holds a gun on him. (There is a shadow on the window shade of someone brushing long hair) She hesitates, Bo overpowers the goon, & sends her racing into the house, her gun still drawn. But a 2nd guard comes up behind Bo, & we later see him on the ground, some rope near him, with his head bleeding. Billie goes upstairs, & sees something in the 2nd room she checks. She begins talking to the back of Georgia’s head, making this really dumb speech about taking her somewhere safe, being her mother, etc. etc. (yeah, like someone would just sit there, saying nothing, never turning around). Billie tells her to say something, anything, finally goes around to the front of the chair, to see it is just a big doll. As she gasps, leather gloved hands cover her mouth. AND we next see Bo & Billie both tied up again in those back to back chairs. (zzzzzzz, oops, sorry, but I nodded off….lol). Bo is unconscious, but Billie wakes him up, tells him of the mannequin, and slips the trusty kitchen knife she had grabbed earlier, (oh, GMAB), & they get free of their ropes. Bo says they gotta get outta there fast…but of course Billie has to yak her fool head off about Georgia. She just cannot shut up.

Outside, Hope & Patrick arrive, & Hope leaves to check things out. A guard comes up behind Patrick, but Hope has heard & hides in the shrubbery, gun drawn. As Patrick turns around, the goon recognizes him, chats of old times & the good work Patrick did for the DiMeras in Barcelona, giving Patrick the chance to surprise him with a knockout blow. The 2nd guard arrives, but Hope easily takes care of him, and both rush into the house, & stop in their tracks upon seeing Bo & Billie just standing there. Bo rushes over to Hope, but she will have none of that. She is very angry & lights into them both. They have to get out of there, & Patrick goes for the car (why not just everyone leave???). Hope drags Bo off to the side, smacking him a few times, saying how scared she was for him, which doesn’t do his bleeding head any good. He tells her he is sorry, and she has always forgiven him before. She replies..”that was then, this is now!” (Uh, oh!) Suddenly Billie hears a noise, sort of a thump, from upstairs, and asks, what is that? We then see someone (from shoulders down) with long dark hair, in a rocking chair, turning the pages as she reads a book. AND the previews show……..

A shirtless Shawn (O, cmon, it is middle of winter, for crying out loud) says – what Belle is saying and what she is feeling are two totally different things, and we have to get to the truth.

Philip asks Belle to promise him that while he’s away, she won’t go near Shawn

Sami tells Lucas – we both know how devious Kate can be. I know she’s up to something, I only wish I knew what it was

Bo tells Hope to go checjk on Patrick & see what is taking him so long. Hope replies – “so you can go check on Billie”?

Summary: Ho-hum…another rather boring show…as Mimi agrees to help Shawn and Belle…Kate and Eugenia plot against Sami, causing Brandon to make arrangements to head home (against Celeste’s warnings)…Billie finally finds her daughter (or so she thinks).

AT THE PENTHOUSE…After Sami and Lucas leave, Kate comes back down and motions Eugenia back inside, telling her about Sami throwing a fit with John. They hope that Brandon comes home soon and they can watch Sami’s wedding go up in flames. Meanwhile, in London, Brandon gets his email and calls to Abe and Lexie’s to see what is going on. He gets Celeste who fills him in, telling him that Abe fell down the stairs and Lexie has taken him to the hospital. Back at the penthouse, Eugenia is on the computer, and sees that Brandon received the email. They celebrate, sure that he will be on his way home soon. Kate is sure that when he learns about Abe, he will rush home…she only wishes they could know for sure. Meanwhile, Brandon tells Celeste he is coming right home, but she tells him to stay away from Salem. Now, Eugenia is checking if Brandon has booked a flight yet. (It seems, she tells Kate, that she used to work as a travel agent and can hack into the airline data base…now isn’t THAT convenient?) He hasn’t done so yet, but she can set it up to send them an alarm when he does. In the meantime, Kate wants Eugenia to run an errand for her. Celeste consults her cards and tells Brandon to stay away to avoid disaster but he wants to be there for his dad. She sees lightning on one of her cards and tells him to stay away from Sami. He is skeptical and tells her that he will think about it. After they get off the phone, she picks up one of her cards and says “this is not good at all”. Meanwhile, Brandon checks his schedule and decides to make the trip. He calls the airline to book his flight. At the penthouse, Kate is having flashbacks of one of her fights with Sami when the computer alarm goes off. She is thrilled that Brandon is on his way home and Sami will finally get what he deserves.

AT SAMI’S APARTMENT…Sami and Lucas return home with her still ranting on John and Kate. He urges her to let it go but she won’t back down. She is SURE that John is a junkie and that Kate is trying to ruin her wedding. He tries to assure her that all will be fine but she goes on and on about the pearls and is convinced her wedding will be ruined. He needs to run an errand to pick up a wedding gift for her and tries to make her promise to behave while he is gone. She says she will try and he leaves. After he is gone, she pulls out the fax that Lexie sent, saying that it may come in handy. She says she needs to figure out what Kate is up to and knows just who to ask. Yes, she calls her psychic friend for advice. She asks about her wedding and needs to be reassured that all will go according to plan. The camera pans back to show that Eugenia is there with her (that is the errand Kate wanted her to run). Wendy tells her not to elope, to go ahead with the big wedding, all will be fine. The only thing that would cause problems is if her ex showed up. Sami says there is no way Brandon will return, so Wendy tells her to have a happy wedding.

SHAWN & BELLE…Shawn is working out when Jan comes in wearing a sexy blue form fitting dress and offers beer. He brushes her off and they argue over Belle. Jan tries to convince him that Belle will never be unfaithful to Philip and for him to let it go and stop obsessing over Belle. But he is sure that she still has feelings for him and tells her about running into her earlier and that they kissed (as he has flashbacks of their encounter). He is determined to get to the truth as Jan says she must keep them apart. Meanwhile, Belle tells Mimi that she must talk to Shawn before Philip leaves. She doesn’t want to hurt or upset Philip, but must straighten things out with Shawn. She tells Mimi about the kiss and how confused she is. Belle still doesn’t even understand why or how they broke up and thinks that someone must have manipulated Shawn, thinking that Jan must be responsible (as Mimi has a long flashback of finding the cage and arguing with Jan). Then Mimi tells her she is sorry, but she can’t help…Rex will be furious with her. Belle says it is okay, she will find a way. Philip comes down and wants to know what they are talking about, but they cover, saying it is girl talk. Philip says he has a few hours before leaving, so Mimi takes that as her cue to leave. Mimi goes back to the other apartment and Shawn asks her for her help. Jan pushes him out the door and starts her threat routine on Mimi again. Apparently, it doesn’t phase Mimi, because later she tells Shawn she will help arrange it so he can talk to Belle again, but he must ditch Jan first. He thanks her and she rushes off.
