SAMI & BELLE are having breakfast at the Brady Pub. Sami (who looks absolutely beautiful today) is encouraging Belle to have sex. Belle will not discuss the subject w/Sami and tells her No. Sami just goes on about Brandon, love, and how much she is glowing, explaining that she is expecting a proposal any time now. Belle leaves, lst calling Shawn, who says he is on the pier and she agrees to meet him there. Sami checks her phone, to find a message from Brandon, telling her to meet him at Tuscany at 10:00 a.m.

ON THE PIER Shawn and a friend are just returning from baseball practice. His friend comments about getting married in 4 weeks and cannot wait. Shawn says yes, he can imagine, since the guy’s fiancee’, Shannon, mentioned to Belle about them waiting til marriage to have sex. His friend considers Shannon very special, and tho he is no saint, wanted her lst time to be something she would not regret. When he said he couldn’t wait……he meant he could then catch up with the Cubs. (LOLOL) They talk a bit about marriage, commitment, etc. and the friend leaves.
When Belle arrives, they talk of their love for each other, mention they are 19, & Belle talks of how the stupid dating show has cut into her study time. They talk of when the show will be over, and they can focus on each other. Belle pulls out 2 purity rings, one for Shawn and one for her. Evidently there are 3 circles, bound together…..and Belle explains one is for love of God, one for love of herself, and one for love of her future spouse. Shawn takes her ring, she takes his. He puts it on her finger, saying it will stay there until he will replace it with a wedding ring. They proclaim their love and kiss.

OUTSIDE SAMI’S APT, Lexie bumps into Eugenia, wondering what she is doing there. Eugenia at first claims to be wanting to see Sami, (she has papers in her hand) but then says it concerns Lexie, too, and brings up the paternity test. Lexie interrupts, saying she was embarrassed to have even had to have the test, it is over and she wants to hear nothing more about it. Brandon comes up, Eugenia leaves, and he invites Lexie in. He tells her of his plans to marry Sami, Lexie is happy as perhaps with his own family, he won’t be hovering around hers any more. (LOL, go, Lexie!) She tells him that both he and Sami are such obsessive people, they may just be right for each other, wishes him good luck and leaves. Later, Lexie is talking to someone on the phone, telling about bumping into the lab technician who ran her paternity test outside the apt. where Brandon lives. She tells of Eugenia bringing up the paternity test, and in a very determined manner, says don’t worry, she will handle it. (Hmmmm, now THAT is veddy interesting!)

AT THE AIRPORT Kate & another woman are sitting, complaining of their plane being delayed, in spite of the fact the weather seems bright and sunny. Kate checks her messages, finding yet another one from Roman. Meanwhile at the cop shop, Roman is frustrated at being unable to track down Kate. An officer comes in, reminding him of how he reacted when Kate professed her love (yeah, like a real jerk, even tho she had no business using the police radio, lol) & asking if Roman ever said those 3 little words to his lady. Roman says no, his mistake, then the light bulb goes off, and he races outta there.

IN THE HOUSE is on the air, and the house is decorated big time for a wedding. Lots of flowers trailing down the staircase, over the doorways, 3 tiered wedding cake. Jack & Jen welcome everyone, slice the cake to take a taste, deciding whether to smash or not to smash, LOL, as Jen takes a taste. Two filled champagne glasses get lifted in a toast. (Have to say, these two make even humdrum commentary fun to watch). They are seated as Jack reads from an open newspaper of the Figg – Newton wedding, hoping they hyphenate the name. He then sees the personal ads on adjoining page, noting SNM & being shocked that they are into S&M. Jen explains that it means Single Non-smoking Male. Jack wonders how she knew that, & she explains about being an intern at a newspaper, whose editor taught her everything (pointing to Jack) & she used to have to proof read ads. They banter back & forth about her meeting her true love thru the newspaper (and don’t you all wish they would go back there!)

Next up is a dating video of Jack & Jen, showing how a date can go. Jen asks about sports, Jack mentions the Cubs, and more banter, with double entendres thrown around a bit. Now comes a very animated Audrey Sims, the wedding planner, who arrives in a wedding dress. A tiny fashion show follows, with Maggie modeling a cream colored wedding suit (that woman always looks so gorgeous!) and Jennifer coming in a strapless wedding dress that she seems very happy about. She & Jack kiss. Back in their regular clothes, with Jack giving Tuscany a plug as the place to have your wedding (ah, and didn’t the EE stage it’s own April lst J&J wedding there?) Maggie leaves. More wedding planning talk, about favors, which Jack hates, themes such as a Luau, or Wild West (both J&J laugh here, as that was their wedding theme 10 years ago) As the 3 sit, supposedly working on home made favors……Roman bursts in. He grabs the mike, and making a lot of speech before he gets round to it, tells Kate and the whole world that he loves her. He does make sure there is a big audience, Jack assures him it is huge, but not as huge as Access Hollywood. (Am guessing that is the show “Audrey” ordinarily works on, love how they work these things in).
At the airport, Kate manages to see Roman’s declaration, is very surprised, and rather embarrassed. Her flight is called to board, and she leaves.
In The House is finishing up, Roman keeps looking at his watch, Jen tries to tell him that perhaps Kate did not even see the show. As they start to say adios to the audience……in walks Kate. Cue big, huge kissing scene, with everyone clapping.

SAMI WALKS INTO A DARKENED TUSCANY, as Brandon turns on a low light, revealing a small table, empty restaurant. They have it til noon. Candles on the table, and he pours champagne. (hey, it is 10:00 a.m., a bit early for that, Brandon). He drags this out for an excrutiatingly long time. Sami tells him to forget the atmosphere, she is so nervous he should just get on with it. Finally he brings out the ring. But no, he drags it out even longer. Slowly, getting up from table, goes around, slowly down on one knee, and ever so slowly…Samantha…….Brady………Will……..you……..marry……..me? Sami is practically going to faint by the time he gets through, but yes, yes, big hug, big kiss. AND THE PREVIEWS SHOW…

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE
Kate sits at the airport for her flight to board as Roman tries calling her on her cell. She knows it’s him and ignores it. Roman calls John asking if he knows where Kate is. He tells him he knows but Kate had asked him to not tell Roman where she is (LOL, a little get even for the bug Roman gave Marlena probably too). Captain Brady calls Kate’s voice mail and leaves a message that he needs to talk with her and to call..ending with take care of herself. (I think if he had said I love you it would’ve gotten results).

THE BLACK PENTHOUSE
Marlena comes in and John wishes Kate hadn’t involved him in her love life, but will respect her wishes. Marlena is so glad John’s okay. They talk about Tony and his running a brothel. She can’t believe Tony believes he’s helping women by advancing them to “sleep to the top?”. She’s concerned about his example of social skills to their children. John isn’t defending Tony, but knows there’s worse going on out there then a brothel. Marlena appreciates his reaching out to Cassie and Rex (tattoo removal). Holding her hand on his chest, he says love can do anything. The phone rings as they start to kiss (of course). It’s Belle. Marlena asks about her dating show, thinking that’s why Belle sounds so upset. Belle tells her Cassie was the one who got the boot, not her. Belle tells her Cassie’s party got a little out of control and Bo and Hope are there and Tony’s not home yet. (you think Tony was in trouble before with Marlena…) She tells Belle she’s loving her and will be right over. Marlena fills John in and they head over as well. Before leaving, she calls Tony and asks where he is. He tells her meeting with a business associate (ooooookkkkk, he does pay her so I guess that’s technically correct). She tells him a little of what happened and he tells Tasha goodbye with a kiss and leaves. Lucas, who had bumped into Tony in the brothel common room, tells Tony goodbye and that he’ll see him later. He gives a tip to his own paramour and leaves as well.

BACK TO SALEM USA AIRPORT
Kate checks her voice mail and gets Roman’s message. She calls Lucas and tells him she’s going on a business trip and will be gone for a long time. He asks if Roman’s going with her and she tells him no. She asks for him to tell Will goodbye for her. She takes her perfume out of her purse and remembers putting it on Roman’s cut in the elevator that time and then when he saved her from the building in the earthquake.

SAMI ASKS LUCAS FOR HELP
Sami hangs up with a call from Brandon, telling him she loves him and to hurry home. She hears a noise and goes to check it out, but gets scared. After Lucas hangs up from his call from Kate, Sami hears him in the hall and yanks him into her apartment, saying she needs him. Recharged from his love fest, he tells Sami he’s not in the mood and gives her a hard time. She explains the noise on the fire escape and he taunts her more. Scared, she finally plays the Will card and he casually opens the window to the fire escape and climbs out calling for the boogie man to watch out. Sami calls out to see if he’s okay and we hear a scream. Sami is terrified and grabs Will’s baseball bat. She climbs out on the balcony and sees Lucas unconscious. She rushes over to check on him and he yells Boo, causing her to jump and the window slides shut. He tells her it was only some windchimes that Will must have hung up clunking (didn’t sound like clanging to me, more like a bird pecking a window..you be the judge) as he holds them up. She can’t get the freehomepages and orders Lucas to. He refuses taking any more orders from her. He asks if she’s not grateful for anything as he comments on it being spring and how beautiful the stars are. She asks if he’s on drugs. They talk of old times when she sat by his bed telling him to die while in the coma. He remembers people talking to him while in the coma, even Will. Sami said that was a mistake to let Will see crispy critter coma boy. Lucas said it wasn’t as that’s what brought him back. He asks if she has any regrets or is happy with the way she’s lived her life. She tells him she regrets him getting joint custody of her son. He wished he had let her fry on death row when he had the chance. Thinking he means that, she tears up a little. She tells him that Will loves him and wouldn’t wish that on him. He tells her Will loves her too. She asks him to open the window and he does. She rushes in telling him goodbye and to go to hell.

REX & MIMI
Back at DiMansion, Mimi and Rex talk. He doesn’t know what to do about Cassie. She could be done with school too if her priorities were different. He tells Mimi he’s finished with school for the year and took his finals weeks ago. He wants to live to his full potential and needs her help and kisses her.

BRADY ACTION
Bo and Hope arrive at DiMera Mansion and find out what happened. Bo’s eyes widen as he hears Chaz was trying to poison his son. Rex stops kissing Mimi in his room upstairs and hears something going on downstairs. Accusing him of having bionic ears (LOL), Mimi follows him. They arrive just after Bo shooed the party gang into the other room for questioning. Shawn tells Rex what happened. Bo knows Vin Ramsel was too chicken to come after him, so went after his son instead. (why didn’t Shawn call his father when he recognized Vin Ramsel at the party is what I’d like to know) Chaz mouths off to Bo that he can’t prove he did anything and threatens to leave. Bo phones Roman and promises to add resisting arrest if Chaz leaves. He tells Roman what happened and wants forensics sent to the mansion and an APB out on Vin Ramsel. Bo smells the carpet and gets a little rough with Chaz promising attempted murder charge too. Mimi and Cassie get into it. Cassie calls Mimi a loser (as Rex thanks her sarcastically for the insult to himself as well).

Tony arrives and Bo tells him what happened. He introduces Chaz to Tony and lets him know he doesn’t want to cross him (Tony). Marlena shivers a little when Bo tells Tony that Belle almost drank the toxic substance meant for Shawn. Tony asks Cassie what happened to her little party and notices alcohol was served too. Cassie tells “daddy” that Chaz is her boyfriend and he’s not pleased to meet him for the first time as he’s arrested. Bo informs him this isn’t the first time either and will probably be in lockup for most of his misguided youth now. Tony lashes out at Cassie, but she whips out the tears and says she’d die if anything happened to Belle, she’s her sister after all. Tony caves and hugs his distressed daughter (oh palleez). Privately Marlena is worried about Belle. Belle tells her she wasn’t drinking. They go to the couch to talk as John tears into Tony, asking if he was at the men’s club partying it up when the kids turned his home into party central. Tony asks John where he was and did he know where his daughter was? John explains his daughter is 18 and a responsible adult. She didn’t invite these low lives and serve alcohol (as he picks up the Jim Beam bottle that hasn’t been dusted yet). Cassie and Rex do not have experience in these situations and shouldn’t be left to their own devices. Tony comments that everything’s rosy under John’s roof and walks out.

Salem PD arrives and Bo has them arrest Chaz. He tells forensic to test the carpet and broken glass. The forensic guy asks Bo if it’s true his son was almost poisoned and Bo confirms it, saying Ramsel and his buddy will live to regret it as Chaz is led away. Marlena comforts Belle and Hope comforts Shawn in the background.

COP SHOP
Bo escorts Chaz and the cops to the cop shop and Roman. Belle, Shawn, Marlena, John, Hope follow too. Roman and Bo step aside to touch base. Being Chaz hasn’t lawyered up yet, Bo wants to talk with him as they know he’s not as smart as Vin Ramsel. Belle’s worried about Shawn’s safety and Roman wants to talk with each of them separately for a statement. (was it wise for Roman to leave Bo alone with the suspect who tried to poison his son?) Marlena feels responsible being Cassie’s parent too, but John says Tony has custody, not her. Cassie rushes in looking for Chaz, telling Marlena not to tell her how to feel as Chaz is her boyfriend. Marlena mentions her sister was almost killed. Belle suggests Cassie might have been part of it to get rid of her too. Cassie tells Belle she wants to turn people away from her. Marlena tells Cassie she thinks Cassie feels deeply and trying to fit in with people. Cassie pulls the tears again and tells Marlena all she wants is for people to like her and the harder she tries, the more they hate her. Marlena hugs her.

John and Hope talk from afar as they watch what’s going on. She reminds him to be vigilant. Tony arrives to take Cassie home. John offers the penthouse as an option. The two bicker and Marlena comments Cassie’s confused enough. Both John and Marlena touch Cassie’s should and reassure her she has family to count on. Cassie does the tear routine and as soon as her head snuggles into Tony’s shoulder, smirks knowing she got away with it.

Belle tells Hope you would think Cassie was almost killed tonight and not the one who started everything. Hope reminds Belle how protective she was of Cassie when she first got to Salem. Belle knows that everyone now is feeling too guilty to give Cassie the tough love she really needs now.

Inside the office Bo tries to relate with Chaz and tells him about the stolen microwave he gave Roman when he got married. He clues Chaz in on knowing Vin is using Chaz. Saying it’s his last chance and not to blow it, come clean. Chaz agrees, saying he doesn’t know much though. Bo has him taken to interrogation. Roman gives Bo the forensic results (wow, Grissom on CSI would be proud!). They found cocaine tainted with arsenic. Bo’s furious and wants Vin Ramsel bad and leaves. Roman tries calling Kate’s cell again and she turns it off while standing in line to board the plane. No luck on the APB for Ramsel and Bo knows he got away and made fools of them again…as the previews roll for Wednesday’s show….

Belle shows Shawn the purity ring she got for each of them as a symbol of their love for each other.

Jen and Jack welcome the viewing audience to wedding central (we see a wedding cake on a table).

Sami tells Belle that she knows Brandon’s going to propose to her.

Roman’s on tv (looks like IN THE HOUSE set) and has a message for Kate. He tells her he loves her and not leaving until she comes there so he can tell her that to her face.

Summary: Bo’s outbursts to the press continue…Eugenia becomes a time bomb in Sami’s eyes…Denise dumps Lucas…the party rocks on at DiMansion, ending in turmoil.

Bo and Hope…
visit Abe and Lexie at the hospital (she’s doing fine now) and as they leave, Abe catches a bit of Bo on TV shooting off his mouth about the Salem PD. Abe is furious as Hope tries to explain/apologize. But Abe chews him out and issues a warning to keep his mouth shut. After Abe leaves, Hope tries to be the voice of reason, explaining that Abe had the right to be upset. She suggests that they go on home. Once they get there, the place is crawling with the press and Bo goes off again as Hope tries to get him inside. Once again he slams the drug dealers as well as the department. Inside, she tries to calm him down, but he is wound too tight. He rants on and on as Hope gives up, only shaking her head. He is really worked up as she tries to reason with him, explaining if he puts Ramsel away, someone else would come along. But Bo is determined and she promises to stand by him, sure he will do the right thing. (Oh, wait a minute…do I hear Tammy Wynette in the background? LOL)

At the Hospital…
Brandon and Eugenia talk as she thanks him for saving her earlier, calling him a hero. Sami rushes up yelling for her to shut up. Brandon apologizes to Eugenia (for Sami) and she leaves. Sami needles Brandon to find out what was going on. He talks about how strange Eugenia is acting, like she is indebted to him or something. Sami promises to handle her. After Brandon leaves, Sami comes down on Eugenia, threatening her yet again. (second verse, same as the first). Eugenia tells Sami to be nice to which Sami informs her she doesn’t DO nice. They continue to argue until Eugenia just smiles at her then walks off.

Brandon drops by to visit with Lexie as he and Abe are actually civil to each other. Lexie is restless so Abe suggests a game that they play at parties “Truth and nothing but the truth”. (How contrived is THAT?) Lexie doesn’t want to, but Abe persists. Sami walks up overhearing the game (she overhears Brandon saying that Lexie is lying) and panics. She storms in demanding to know what is going on as they explain it’s just a game about telling the truth (something that Lexie points out Sami wouldn’t understand). Lexie comments how strange it is that neither Abe nor Brandon can fool each other, almost like they can read each others’ minds. Eugenia comes in with papers to be signed as Lexie defers to the “baby’s father”, leaving Eugenia in a quandary. She eventually hands the papers to Abe as Sami tries to get Brandon out of there. He refuses to leave, saying he is going to stay around until Lexie is released. He tells a fuming Sami to go on home.

At Lucas’ Place…
He and Denise return from a date and they chit-chat about various things, especially about how much she likes Will and vise versa. They hope to get to know each other better and talk about how much they have in common (especially that both of them dislike Sami. Well Lucas uses the word HATE). Lucas is glad that they are taking things slow and not rushing things as they kiss. Sami calls, reminding that he is to pick up Will at Shawn and Caroline’s in the morning. (Funny, he answers the phone thinking it’s Will calling and says “Hey Buddy”. Sami assures him that she is NOT his buddy). She begins by insulting Denise, who Lucas defends, calling Sami a slut. They bicker back and forth as we see Denise gathering her things to leave. Sami tells Lucas to go to hell and he asks why, so he can be there for her to torment. (These 2 always get the good zingers). When he gets off the phone, Denise says it’s clear what was going on…he was fighting with his EX. She, like us can see the sparks, and decides to bow out gracefully. Lucas asks if he can call her and she says it would be best not to and leaves. Later, Lucas is seen arriving at this girls apartment (her name is Jewel and is apparently a hooker).

At DiMansion…
the party is rocking on. Some of the kids are laughing at Cassie for being kicked off (one of them calls her bitchy). Everyone is dancing as Chaz slips out to the terrace with Vin, who says he has a surprise for Shawn Brady. He plans on spiking his drink. Inside, Shawn and Belle banter about the show but she still won’t tell him the outcome. Rex tries to comfort Cassie, but she just can’t understand why she was dumped for she thinks she is MUCH prettier and sexier than both Mimi and Belle (ego check). Rex and Mimi dance then talk as she chatters on and on as you can clearly see that he is smitten with her. Belle tries to get Shawn to forget about the show but then another promo comes on as everyone watches. Rex suggests some alone time so he and Mimi go upstairs. Cassie is still upset so Chaz offers to distract her. She suggests her bedroom so they go upstairs as well. Before they leave, Chaz offers Belle and Shawn a drink which they accept. Shawn notices that Vin is there (he is inside now) and wonders why he is there. Chaz and Cassie go upstairs for a major tease act with her stopping him and wanting to go back downstairs. In Rex’s room, Mimi notes how neat everything is. Rex stares at Mimi as she comments that she feels like he is undressing her with his eyes. She goes on to talk about how beautiful his eyes and asks if they are cerulean or azure. He asks if he can kiss her and she says she will just die if he doesn’t. Rex says they are BLUE. Back downstairs, Belle guzzles down her drink and then goes for Shawn’s. He sees Vin and Chaz watching them, so he slaps the drink out of Belle’s hands. Vin runs as Shawn takes down Chaz, demanding to know what was in the drink. As he pins him to the floor, he calls Bo. Bo gets off the phone and tells Hope that something bad went down at the Dimera Mansion…as it fades to black.

On the Next Days of Our Lives…

Lucas (to Sami) Sorry, but I just don’t feel like having sex with you right now…as a disgusted Sami says “Is that ALL you think about?”

Shawn and Chaz argue…

Marlena chastises Cassie because her boyfriend almost killed Shawn and Belle. Cassie turns to Belle and says “I bet you are just loving this aren’t you?”…as the credits roll…

Friday summary

· Philip visits Kate at Roman’s house – Roman’s suspicious about Philip’s activities.

· Tony assigns Lucas to deliver message to goon (Simon) at Echelon. Goon greets Lucas with gun and ends up being Lucas’ puppet after reading Tony’s message. Lucas accepts job from Tony.

· Cassie tells Tony about Philip. He orders her to stay away from him being a Kiriakis. Later she tells him she will and appears interested in Lucas when he returns to see Tony.

· Belle and Mimi awoken by Gabby for press breakfast at Tuscany. Maggie likes the publicity for restaurant. Shawn and Rex there for other reason, but jealous of the attention Mimi and Belle are getting. Gabby orders Belle and Shawn not to have public relationship until Belle’s contract is fulfilled (why was she paid already then?). Rex and Mimi discuss her new found popularity. She’s loving it and what it’s doing for her self esteem. She tells him she’s the one who’s pursued him and going to enjoy the attention she’s getting from other guys.

· Philip arrives and uses the HOO-RA Marine chant as his feelings for Belle. They stand arm in arm for the cameras smiling as Shawn glares from the background.

· Brady is ultra jealous of Philip’s arrival home. Chloe tries to assure him she loves him, even sleeps with him despite his concern it’s too soon. Philip arrives and she asks Brady for 15 min. alone with Philip. They talk nice, he gives her pin he won during boot camp in honor of her courage. Brady returns after Philip leaves, still jealous. (Nancy and Joy went to the doctor’s supposedly).

Monday previews…

John and Marlena saying they’re celebrating Rex’s finishing four years of college in 1 year and Sami comments on his genetically engineered brain..

SUMMARY: Bedtime in Salem as we find most of our Salemites in their pajamas watching LOVE IS BLIND. Love the Bo and Hope scenes.

KIRIAKIS BEDROOM
Nicole’s in bed with her martini glass and asks the master’s (Victor’s) permission to turn on the tv. Her reaction of “Oh my God” has Victor turning to see what’s on and orders her to turn it up upon seeing what it is. After hearing Philip’s explanation (below), she enjoys taunting him about how he was so busy following her every move that he didn’t realize what his son was doing or what country his son was even in. She hopes Philip realizes how his father reacts when you’re on his bad side and doesn’t stop over after the show. Reminding her to keep that in mind herself, he tells her to get dressed as she’s going with him.

CHLOE’S ROOM
Chloe, still in full makeup but in her jammy’s, opens her bedroom door for Brady to come in. He can tell she’s exhausted as she encourages him to cozy up, so refuses. She comments they’ll probably never get as much time together as they are now and to enjoy it as she turns on the tv. They are surprised to see Philip on the show. She admits she’s relieved that Philip’s not in danger, but understands why she had such a hard time telling him she loved him. She’d never been in love before, as she takes Brady’s hand, until now. He kisses her hand. She asks Brady to tell Philip that she wants to see him whenever he has the chance. She just wants to reassure Philip that she’s okay in case he’s worried and afraid to call or come by. He agrees, tells her he loves her (and she tells him that back) and leaves. Later Nancy in her robe joins Chloe with a cup of tea. They talk about Philip’s being back in town. Nancy knows that everything that Philip did for two years was because of Chloe and doesn’t want him interfering with her recovery. If Philip’s still in love with her, what will he do now? Chloe tells her mom that she hadn’t heard from Philip in months and not to worry. She’s really tired and Nancy leaves after Chloe thanks her for the tea.

TUSCANY-LOVE IS BLIND, THE DATE (AND TV SHOW) THAT NEVER ENDS
What the viewers are seeing is Belle, Shawn and Mimi’s reaction to the mystery hunk’s being Philip. Clearly not a welcome surprise to the unsuspecting friends. Gabby interrupts the banter to remind them the show is still on (yawn…is it replacing The Tonight Show for bedtime viewing?) and sits them back down at the table. Belle tells Philip he’s changed (LOL) and thought he was in the Marines. He says he just graduated basic training and it was the most rewarding experience of his life. The Marines thought the show was good publicity (like Josh on American Idol?) and stationed him at a nearby base. They talk about her still living in the dorm and how his parents don’t know what he’s doing (unless they’re watching the show). During the commercial Gabby talks to them and Philip apologizes for not being able to tell them what was going on. Mimi’s surprised they didn’t recognize him. He asks about the liver and onions and how many other guys does she know that eat it? None, she replies. He asks why she even agreed to do the show and glancing at Shawn, tells him it’s a long story. He tells her that he missed her and she him. Pop up heads of Mimi and Cassie commenting on how Belle hasn’t mentioned Philip in months and Mimi defending her friend by telling Cassie she’s not around her enough to know that. Philip’s happy she agreed to have dessert (tiramisu) and starts to give the viewing audience a biography on both him and Belle. He tells them he was a spoiled rich kid and Belle was a rich kid that never let anyone down. Belle’s embarrassed and asks him to stop as Gabby announces their date is over unless they want to continue on their own time. Both admit the evening went okay. He tells the camera that Belle’s all about results and it’s the follow through that counts. Belle agrees, calling him Mr. Incommunicato and he promises that won’t happen again. Philip tells the armed forces around the world that are watching (isn’t this a local tv station watching the all evening date?) to be safe and they’re all behind them. Everyone in the room claps. Gabby gives each of the 3 girls a check for $50,000 and Mimi almost hyperventilates as she’d never seen so much $$ before (really! Poor Matt had to spend 39 days in the rugged Amazon and starve half to death on Survivor to win 2x that amount for second place on a network show, haha). Gabby tells Belle she still has to kiss Philip good night and that the other kiss was interrupted and didn’t count. Shawn’s NOT happy about it, but Belle goes along with it as ordered and Philip holds her head and gives her a long, long kiss until Gabby pulls them apart and tells the audience how hot the room is. Cue a wave to the camera as the show closes. Shawn rushes in and Belle tells him she loves him and gives him a hug and kiss. Philip tells Shawn it was all for the camera as we see Victor stroll over to him. Philip apologizes for not telling him. Victor tells him how upset Kate was and didn’t call to say goodbye. He Reminds his father he didn’t go anywhere, so didn’t want to worry her. He’s stationed nearby and doesn’t want to miss any other family doings as he congratulates him on his wedding. Victor goes to get Nicole as Brady asks Philip about sneaking back into town.

Brady walks in and finds Nicole as the bar. Asking if she’s there for the happy family reunion or just happy hour. He asks her not to embarrass his grandfather there, she tells him to kiss off. The bartender asks what he can get her, but she tells him nothing and she’ll take her business elsewhere and walks out. Brady comments about how Philip stuck his tongue down his sister’s throat in front of her boyfriend and Philip tells him he’s just following orders and had no control over who the contestants were. Philip cares about Belle and Chloe. He assures Brady he’s a marine now and has grown up a lot. He’s not after Chloe. Brady passes Chloe’s message on for Philip to stop by, just not tonight as she’s sleeping. Philip agrees. Later Philip talks to someone on his cell phone agreeing they were right about coming back to town as a Marine poster boy was a good idea (hmmm, what’s really going on??).

Cassie drools over Philip as Mimi tells her hands off. Belle suggests to Shawn that they leave and they do, anxious to be alone. The Intruder female reporter catches them outside and asks who Shawn is and how fast Belle’s with someone new (guess the sleeze has the daytime shift). Shawn tells them someone inside wants publicity, go see him. They do and Belle has an idea of where they should go. They go back to her dorm room and she lights some candles. She gets a cupcake with I (heart) you on it and gives it to him. She knows love isn’t blind and sees him clearly and loves him and no one else. Kiss kiss. They talk about Brady and Philip and hope their past history stays so.

BACK AT TUSCANY
Nico finds Victor at the bar and tells him Nicole left and went to Echelon. Brady overhears and heads out after Victor tells Nico he’ll take care of that after he finishes with Philip. He’s not happy to see Tony’s offspring coming on to Philip. He interrupts and before he can say too much, Philip tells his father he’s grown up and in control of his own life now. He doesn’t expect another leave soon (Victor invites him to dinner when he does) but will be working in town at the Marine office and will see Kate first thing in the morning. Cassie joins him, taking over where she left off (hmm..could Philip be undercover ISA and getting inside track to the Dimera home using Cassie?) He goes to leave to have the show drive him back to base and she insists on driving him back herself.

Mimi joins Rex after dissing the press. She tells him she’s going to buy a new car, give some $$ to her parents and Habitat for Humanity and bank what’s left. Rex is glad Philip didn’t choose her and she is too as they kiss.

ECHELON CLUB
Nicole’s sitting playing cards with 3 men and the club’s empty otherwise. Brady rushes in and grabbing Nicole, tells her he’s getting her out of there before his grandfather arrives. Drunk, Nicole appreciates his concern, but it’s not necessary. She tells him it’s not news that her hubby’s on the warpath and asks why he’s going out of his way for her. He stares at her in shock. By the time she gets her winnings and purse, she passes out and he picks her up to leave and walks right into Victor. Victor tells Brady this is none of his business, but Brady disagrees being Victor brought him into the fold and taking over Nicole’s job.

CHLOE’S ROOM
Philip crawls through Chloe’s window. He kisses her cheek and sneaks off looking for something. Still asleep, she smiles.

BRADY HOME
Hope’s in her pj’s and jumps for the phone as Bo calls. He hoped he hadn’t woke her up (just what time IS it as Love is Blind is still on tv?), but she couldn’t sleep until she had heard from him. He tells her that he had reached his destination (Oklahoma?) where Vin Ramsel’s been spotted and even showed his picture around a little. He promises to get him and assures her he’d be home with her if he thought she was in any danger. She tells him about Abe’s stopping by earlier and thought Ramsel on the I-35 heading south (Bo was there and even got the info Abe passed onto him??). Bo figures Ramsel’s heading for Mexico and if necessary, he’ll confront him there. Hope doesn’t like that scenario, but he won’t come home empty handed. She passes Abe’s message on that he’s holding onto Bo’s paperwork in case he changes his mind on returning to the force. Bo said that isn’t going to happen and his identity was always Detective Brady. They have a nice conversation about her supporting Bo in what he’s doing. He won’t change his mind, and she knows it. Cute talk as she tells him Zack’s word of the day is “listen” and how he insisted he wasn’t tired but fell asleep through a tv show. He starts stripping and guesses what she’s wearing and he’s right. Hearing her voice he feels like he’s right there with her as we see a visual of what he’d like to be doing. Saying they miss each other, and how she knows he’ll find what he needs to do, they both don’t want to hang up. He suggests that she lie the phone on his pillow so he can hear her breathing. She does so and turns off the light and rolls over on her pillow as he also turns off the light and holds the phone to his ear as he lies on the pillow as well (they must own stock in AT&T, haha). The show ends as Bo continues monitoring Hope over the quiet phone line….as the previews for tomorrow roll…

IN HER APARTMENT, Sami is pacing the floor, crying, while wondering why it is taking Brandon so long. He finally arrives and she cannot wait to tell him how Lucas nearly killed her. Brandon gets her finally to explain fully, but Sami insists that Lucas encouraged the goon to shoot her dead. He decides to confront Lucas, but more to hear his side, as what Sami is saying just doesn’t ring true.

ACROSS THE HALL, Lucas is on the sofa, seemingly waking up from what appears to be a drunken stupor, half empty bottle of booze on the coffee table, His hand closes over the glass on the floor, as he gets up, pours some booze into the glass and goes at it. (really HATE it that Lucas has fallen off the wagon). When Brandon begins pounding on the door, he quickly drinks down the glass, hides the bottle in the cupboard, sprays some Binaca or mouthwash of some kind, and opens up. Sami is going on and on, while Brandon wants to hear Lucas’s side. Lucas explains he was trying to distract the goon, so Tony and his boys could get in place to get the drop on him. Sounds logical, Brandon thanks him, Sami is still shooting off her mouth, but they finally leave.

Back in her apt, she is still going at it about Lucas, but Brandon is the voice of reason. She says something about any idiot believing whatever Lucas says, & he gets her attention, asking if she is calling him an idiot. And that she is NOT going to control what he thinks. Sami is very contrite, apologizing, saying she has all these self-esteem issues (get thee to a counselor, Sami, and FIX it!). They argue a bit, she begs for forgiveness, they make up and hug. (Got to say Ali Sweeney is just an awesome actress, besides being so gorgeous. Every emotion crosses her face for all to plainly see. Kudos and applause!)

AT THE PENTHOUSE, Marlena is telling John they have to watch a live broadcast of Love Is Blind, as Belle will be on her date. John is not thrilled (neither are we) but agrees. Cue the doorbell to ring, and of course it is Tony, arriving at the inopportune time, as usual. (wonder how come he is not watching the show his beloved daughter is on). He silkily tells Marlena that he took what she said to heart, and has decided to sell Club Echelon, and wanted her to be the lst to know. (Phone out of order?). John decides to leave them alone and goes upstairs, after telling Marlena that tho he wants to nail Tony, he is gonna leave her to deal with him, one on one. Tony proceeds to smooze Marlena, who seems to be seeing right thru him. (So much for watching that live broadcast!)
After he leaves, Marlena goes into the den to watch what is left of the show, as John calls OPS. He says the bug in Tony’s limo is working, and he is heading right back to Echelon.

AT ECHELON, Lucas arrives, orders a club soda (thank goodness), as Tony comes in. Tony liked the way Lucas handled himself at the Blue Note, his quick thinking, etc. and offers him the job of managing Echelon. He says it has to look like he no longer owns it, but he wants Lucas to run it for him. Lucas replies that he certainly will think about it. (Thought he had that job at the hospital??)

AT THE BRADY HOUSE, Bo & Hope are talking about his motorcycle, when Abe arrives with news of Vin Ramsell. Hope leaves them alone, as Abe tells Bo Vin appears to be heading south, probably towards the Mexican border. He gives Bo an envelope containing all the info received from the Oklahoma state police, saying he still considers him an officer of the law. Bo tells him to make no mistake, he is OFF the force. Abe goes into the kitchen to take a call from the station, as Hope comes out with some things Bo will need for his trip. Yes, she is o.k. with him doing this. Later she brings Zack out to say bye-bye to Daddy, as Bo roars off on the cycle. Abe comes out, saying something about Bo going to find Vin, and Hope replies that actually, he has gone to find himself.

AT TUSCANY, preparations are under way for the Love Is Blind date. TV crew members are busy in the background. Cassie jealously watches interchanges between Belle & Shawn, plus Rex & Mimi, and decides to hit on one of the TV crew, choosing a cute grip. Meanwhile, Rex tells Mimi he needs her help again, not blood this time, but a DNA sample of someone he is related to. Meems suggests Belle, but isn’t keen on the idea of not telling her. A jealous Shawn is worried about the date, while Belle tries to reassure him. They kiss, kiss a lot. Gabriella is rushing around, telling the hunk he has to pull out all the stops, and Cassie is to be as catty as she was before. Meems will not diss Belle….they are friends for too long. Cassie gives Meems some dating advice, telling her she must get a guy all hot and bothered, and then just leave him! Mimi says that is fine for Cassie, not her.
The big moment arrives, Belle gets seated at the table, as Gabriella leads the blindfolded mystery guy to the table. (sorry, folks, but the next part is too lame and ridiculous for words.) Mr. Blindfold cannot see to eat, so Belle has to lift his blindfold up from his mouth, and hand feed him. (GMAB) She then feeds some sort of dessert into his mouth, getting cream or frosting on her fingers and his lips.
Now Gabrriella says it is time for their first kiss. They both stand up, and Belle gives a short peck on the lips, but the guy grabs her, and really gives her a big smooch. Shawn jumps up, runs over, grabbing the guy, pulling him away from Belle. The guy says “Lighten up, Shawn….as Shawn wants to know how he knows his name. Off comes the blindfold, as both Belle and Shawn stare in disbelief. Finally Belle says “Philip?” AND THE PREVIEWS ROLL……..

MORNING IN THE DORM
Shawn and Belle wake up in his twin dorm bed. She’s fully dressed (and her glittering eye shadow perfect) while he’s in his t-shirt and pants. Kiss Kiss. Belle freaks when she realizes it’s 8:00 a.m. as she’s suppose to be at the pub for a press thing for Love is Blind. Dumping her purse out looking for her eyeliner, she’s in manic mode as Shawn clearly dreads what’s to come that day.

Mimi wakes up in Rex’s arms on Belle’s dorm bed. She tells him “Morning Gorgeous” as he returns the compliment. Someone knocks (loudly) on the door and she jumps up (fully dressed) while he puts his shirt on. It’s a guy from the pub the night before wanting to take “hot” Mimi out for breakfast. Rex answers the door and the guy gets the clue, but offers to be there if he (Rex) doesn’t work out. Mimi’s not use to the attention as Rex kisses her.

BRADY PUB
Mimi and Rex have breakfast at the Brady Pub while waiting for her press conference to begin. More guys come on to Mimi as the press (including Harold and the sleeze from the Intruder) take notes. Shawn and Belle arrive. She’s got a black sweater and white top on with her hair mostly down. Shawn’s not anxious to go inside as Gabby rushes out to drag Belle in. The reporters all rush over to Belle. Belle and Mimi both tell the reporters they’re best friends and were cool with whomever the hunk had chosen. Rex leaves as Belle and Mimi start their interviews. Mimi comments on how the show’s a positive affect on her life. Slimeball reporter notices Belle’s ring and asks if she’s engaged (as the other reporters ooh and aww). Gabby saves the day as she says Belle loves jewelry just like she does. She diverts the reporters away to talk with her as Mimi and Belle talk about the show that night. Mimi suggests Belle withdraw and Mimi go instead. Mimi tells Belle it’s only two hours and she’ll never have to see the other guy again. Mimi heads out to find Rex and let Belle have the limelight. She wants to compare notes with Belle later. Slimeball reporter asks Belle questions about the mystery hunk and what if he’s ugly. Shawn walks in (returning from his trip home) and hears her response. Alone and for the umteenth time, Belle convinces Shawn it’s only a dinner date and they’ll be chaperoned by a viewing audience. A guy standing near them asks Belle to sign his bicep and she obliges, saying it’s kind of like a tattoo without pain.

Rex returns home and to his room to work on his DNA code. He finally unlocks it and excited, whoops in excitement as Mimi walks in (thought all visitors were to be announced?), liking that reception.

BRADY & CHLOE
A masked (?) Chloe and Brady are out in the woods in his jeep. He has surprise for her. Breakfast in the woods being he can’t take her into public yet. He niks it “Brady and Chloe’s Alfresco Café” as he takes a picnic hamper and blanket out of the back of the jeep. The two talk as he shows her the veggie sausages she likes. She apologizes for him not being able to eat in a restaurant like he likes to do. Taking her mask off (finally) she tells him she only has to wear it in a crowd of people and can’t do what she wants with it on anyway. She leans over apparently to kiss him and reaches for a bagel and the cream cheese, haha. He feeds her a huge strawberry. Later they’re lying on the blanket, full. He suggests she put her mask back on and she agrees if he kisses her first. She wants more, but Brady doesn’t think it’s a good idea until the doctor gives her the okay. (assuming that’s not Craig, ha!) He has her put on her mask and tells her that her eyes and hair are beautiful as he hugs her. They take a walk and she notices her tree has a new sprout coming out of the top and is still alive. Brady comments that life goes on and she double glances it as she follows him down the path.

BRADY HOME
Hope comes downstairs, baby monitor in hand, looking for Bo. She finds him in the external garage working on his motorcycle. He’d been up all night working on it and she figures it’s better then his being with another woman. She realizes he’s listening to the police scanner for any word on Vin Ramsel and reminds him that he resigned it’s not his job any more. He disagrees being it’s personal that their family is targeted. Bo figures Ramsel is a local kingpin and just waiting to surface again. Hope is worried he’ll do something he regrets. Later she returns in her casual attire and we learn she took Zack to the library for a puppet show. Doug and Julie met them there (would be nice to see them too) and were going to take Zack to the zoo to see the new panda afterward. She whacks Bo’s head as he calls himself (kiddingly) a bum. She offers to help with the bike and he smiles at the thought and thanks her. He suggests she clean the carburator for him, but she figures assisting him is more her speed. After dropping a tool (LOL) he suggests she just watch. She wisely informs him she knows this is therapy for him to figure out what to do next. He thanks her for understanding, kiss kiss. She proudly figured which is the grease gun and Shawn walks in and offers to relieve her. She happily agrees and as Hope goes to leave to await Zack’s homecoming, Bo asks for a kiss. She sits on his lap as Shawn’s embarrassed a tad as his parents smooch. Bo thanks her and she heads off. Bo tells Shawn about quitting the force. Shawn offers to help in any way he can and is okay with the idea if that’s what his dad wants. He comes in the house later and Hope tells him how great it is when he comes to the house. He tells her he just lives at the dorm, but this is still home. They talk about Bo’s decision to quit the force. Hope tells Shawn she isn’t sure what Bo’s going to do, but trusts him. He tells her Belle won last night (Hope had started watching it, but didn’t see the end). She squeals hearing Belle won, but can tell Shawn’s not excited about it. Hope tries to explain to Shawn to just let it go and tomorrow morning Belle will be all his again.

Bo tells his bike it’s always blood, sweat and tears with them. He remembers when he first met Hope and drove her home on his bike (full replay of the scene). He tells his bike they have a lot left to do. He comes in the house after cleaning up and learns Doug and Julie had just left (darn!). Doug’s off to practice for a retirement party he’s singing at later. Bo tells Zack he’ll take him to the zoo next time, but Hope reassures him that he’s a good father as he hugs Zack. Later Hope brings a coke out to the garage for Bo. After a kiss she leaves as he turns up the scanner, promising Vin Ramsel he will get him!! As the previews for tomorrow roll…

Sami tells Brandon she was almost killed and it was Lucas’ fault..

Love is Blind…
The mystery hunk prepares to make his decision as everyone at the pub watches. Sami slips in to catch the end of the show just in time to hear that Mimi is dumped. Sami rushes over and hugs Belle, congratulating her and goes on and on, telling her to take a chance on this guy (as both Shawn and Cassie listen). Rex congratulates Mimi but is relieved that she lost. There are a bunch of guys around (including their campus reporter) making a fuss over Mimi and Belle as Mimi is picked up and carried off. Shawn practically asks Sami to leave as Belle and Mimi are posing for pictures. Sami is on her way to meet with her “fiancé” (she proudly proclaims) at the Blue Note so she rushes off. Shawn asks Belle what happened to her plan of blowing the game as she tries to explain. Cassie is hit on by some nerdy guy in the corner who she instructs to remove his glasses. The rest of the show, they are seen kissing in the corner. As Mimi and Belle are hounded by reporters and photographers, Rex and Shawn watch from the bar with long faces. Finally, Shawn drags Belle away, not liking what is going on. Mimi comes over asking WHERE were all these guys on Valentines Day. She says that last week, she couldn’t even get a date to the Burger Barn (LOL) and now they are everywhere. Some guy steals one of Mimi’s shoes as she fears he has a fetish and may follow her home. Belle offers to let her stay with her at the dorm and she gladly accepts. Later, Rex is looking for Mimi and can’t find her. He asks Cassie and her kissing partner. She doesn’t know and doesn’t care and goes back to her lips d’jour. Belle is signing autographs and Rex finds out from her where Mimi is and he rushes off. Finally, Shawn has had enough and gets Belle out of there as well. Later, Cassie realizes that everyone is gone. The guy invites her back to his place, but she flatly turns him down and sashays off, leaving him totally confused.

At the Dorm…
Shawn and Belle go to his room and talk about all the guys following them home (but Shawn knew a short cut and lost them). She apologizes about all of it. Shawn says that he loves her and no one else and she agrees, saying that even wild hunks couldn’t drag her away. Mimi goes into Belle’s room slamming the door on a bunch of guys. She turns to find Rex lying shirtless on the bed saying “finally, we’re alone”. She smiles and says “Well, it never hurts to see what’s behind door #2”. She chatters about her 15 minutes of fame, but he encourages her to join him on the bed as they cuddle. Belle and Shawn are also kissing as she promises to go on this one last date and then it is all over. They talk about the masked guy as she notes what a gentleman he is. She is sure that there are lots of girls in love with him but for Shawn not to worry…she’s already taken.

The Blue Note…
Tony and Bart are on their way there to meet with Carl (the guy that Tony fired from Echelon). He is now the manager of the Blue Note and works for Titan. The guy has insinuated that he has dirt on Victor which has peaked Tony’s interest. Lucas is at the Blue Note (orders a club soda) as he sits at the bar and overhears Carl and another guy talking about taking Tony out. Tony and Bart arrive as Lucas comments on how they keep running into each other in the strangest places. Sami comes barging in, calling Lucas a drunk. He offers his drink as proof and she samples it, which leads directly into an argument. Sami gets a call from Brandon, telling her he is running late. As Carl keeps trying to get Tony to go to the back room, Lucas is listening. He sees one of the goons pull a gun and grabs Sami and pushes her out the way…right into Carl’s arms, who holds her at gunpoint. Sami blames Lucas, who in turn tells Carl to go on and shoot her, he doesn’t care. Lucas tells Carl to be careful, she may bite him and give him some sort of disease (LOL). She is furious, but Tony talks Carl out of it and eventually, he lets Sami go. Tony informs him that he is handing him over to Victor. Sami wants to call the police, but Tony wants to keep it quiet. Tony thanks Lucas for his help and asks him to come see him tomorrow at Echelon. Sami walks over and goes to slap Lucas, but he grabs her arm and they share a long stare. She thanks Tony for saving her with a kiss on the cheek then proceeds to blast Lucas. Tony offers Sami a ride home, which she accepts. After they leave, Lucas goes to the bar and orders a scotch on the rocks. (Wow, you can tell he has it BAD for Sami.)

The Brady House…
Hope worries about Bo as he tries to explain about quitting the force. He says he just snapped and he can’t go back. She stands by him and says that she trusts whatever he does. But he worries about their finances. She reminds him of her trust fund and assures him that they will be fine. He beats himself up over Ramsel getting off. She asks what can she do to help him through this, but he says he just needs some time alone to think. After he leaves, Jennifer comes by and hand delivers a wedding invitation. She can tell Hope is upset, but Hope changes the subject and wants to hear all about the wedding plans. Jen has a very important question for her…will she be her matron of honor? After pretending like she has to think about it, Hope laughs and heartily accepts. She points out that she missed their first wedding and wouldn’t miss this for the world. Jen reveals that they are planning a small quiet ceremony at the Penthouse Grill (why do I feel that this will change?). Jen asks about Bo as we see him in the garage going through boxes of mementos from his days as a cop. He has awards and plaques and is tossing them in the garbage. Roman comes by but Bo tells him it is too late and he doesn’t want his advice. Roman vows to talk him out of it, but it is all in vain…Bo’s mind is made up, saying he has thought about it for a long time now. Inside, Hope gives Jen the story about Bo quitting and she is shocked. She finds it hard to believe and asks what’s next for them? Hope has no answers. Roman tries to take Bo on a trip down memory lane, but Bo tells him to go see Kate and leave him alone. Bo talks about how he and Roman are different and how Roman was always a role model to him and how he just wanted to be a “super cop”. Roman asks what he is going to do now. Bo says he is going after Ramsel. Roman offers his assistance if he needs anything and begs him not to do anything stupid and to be careful before he leaves. Hope assures Jennifer that they will be fine. She says that Bo is a maverick. That is who she fell in love with and still loves…everything will work out fine. Jen gets a call from Abby and has to go and pick her up. In the garage, Bo pulls the tarp off his motorcycle and stands there and stares at it. From the doorway, Hope is watching him with a worried look on her face…as it fades to black.

Summary: Victor makes Nicole pay for her misconduct…Chloe gets an offer she finds it hard to refuse…Marlena pays a visit to the DiMansion, receiving a shocking surprise…and as Jack and Jennifer prepare for their wedding, Bill Horton’s third and final gift arrives in Salem.

At the Kiriakis Mansion…
Nicole is having a liquid breakfast (if you know what I mean) as Victor complains about her behavior the night before. (However, it seems that he had his way with her first;-) She talks about how cruel he is to her and he warns her that her behavior will NOT go unpunished. She accuses him of being in cahoots with Cecilia Marin in an effort to break up Chloe and Brady. But he assures her it’s a professional relationship and that he is only testing Brady’s judgment. Nicole asks about going to Jack and Jen’s wedding but Victor puts the brakes on that, saying he doesn’t want her to embarrass him again and may never let her out of the house again. He then banishes her to her room. She is furious and wants to go to the wedding but gives into him and heads upstairs as he smiles to himself. Later, Philip arrives (after seeing Chloe and Philip, see below) to get a few of this personal things and they sit to talk. They catch up as Victor is hoping that Philip stays out of harm’s way. They talk about 911 and the war, as Victor hopes the war is over before Philip is deployed. Victor asks his opinion of Brady heading the Titan music division and Philip tells him that he is glad if not him, he is glad that Victor has Brady to carry on. After Victor leaves for the Penthouse Grill (where the wedding is to be), we see Nicole pacing her room. She tries to get out but the door is locked from the outside. She looks at her wedding picture and says she hates Victor, throwing it and smashing against the wall. Philip hears the commotion from the hall and asks if she is okay. She begs him to get her out of there.

At the Wesley House…
Chloe and Brady are celebrating over breakfast when Philip arrives to congratulate Chloe. Brady isn’t too pleased to see him, but they are civil to each other. He is touched to see that Chloe is wearing the pin he gave her and she invites him to breakfast. But Philip is nervous about Nancy seeing him there. She informs him that Nancy and Joy have gone shopping and he is safe. But when Cecilia arrives, Philip slips out. She tells Chloe that there is no way she can attend Juliard. Chloe is shocked by this news and believes that Cecilia has had a change of heart. Brady goes ballistic, but Cecelia explains that she wants to offer Chloe a job. Chloe is in shock as Cecilia invites her to join her European touring company and wants an answer immediately. Chloe says she needs to discuss it with her parents first. But Cecilia wants her answer and needs her total commitment. She says to call her with her decision at the Salem Inn and leaves.

At DiMansion
Lucas arrives and learns that Tony is expecting some important associates from New York and wants Lucas to sit in. The 2 men arrive as Lucas lets them in after searching them. But before he can shut the door, Marlena walks up, asking what is he doing there. Lucas informs her that he is now working for Tony, which disturbs her, with her saying that he isn’t as smart as she thought. She asks if Sami knows this and he says it is none of her business. Marlena corrects him, telling him that if Sami finds out she could go for full custody of Will. She says that if she is called to testify on Sami’s behalf, she would do so. Tony (who has been listening) says that Marlena would never cross him like that. She informs Tony that he has no say over what she does and if she feels that Lucas is doing something wrong, would have no problem telling Sami. The spider (Tony) invites the fly (Marlena) into his parlor as Lucas gets a frantic call from Jack (looking for his ring…it seems that Lucas is the best man for the wedding.) After Lucas assures him that he has it, he promises to meet him later at the Penthouse Grill. In the den, Marlena questions Tony about his goings on, saying that she is only looking out for the safety of her children…pointing out how he put Sami in danger at the Blue Note. She says she is determined to remove Rex and Cassie from this house. Tony says that there is only one reason she is there and wants the same thing he does…each other. He grabs her and kisses a startled Marlena hard on the lips. She pushes him away and proceeds to slap that smirk right off his face. She says “How dare you!…NEVER do that again”, grabs her purse and storms out. Later, after Tony’s guests have left, he and Lucas talk about the meeting and Tony tells Lucas that he is just as sharp as his mother and just as ruthless. Tony wants to make sure that Lucas is up to the job. Lucas assures him that he will not regret hiring him.

At the Penthouse…
Ops comes by to see John with some important info…telling him that Lucas is now under Tony’s employ. John is disturbed and can’t believe it. He sasy that Lucas is a fool and says he will try to talk some sense into him at the wedding. While the wedding is going on, John wants Ops to break into Lucas’s place and bug it, but Ops doesn’t want to. Ops advises John to remove himself from the DiMera case, but John refuses. He swears that if Tony hurts his family, he may kill the SOB. Marlena arrives upset and tells John she has disturbing news. She tells them about Lucas working for Tony and they tell her they just found out as well. After Ops leaves, Marlena asks John if they still have Tony under surveillance…and is glad to hear that they do. She says that Tony must be stopped…before it’s too late. John asks if Tony has hurt her, but she says no, she just hates the fact that Lucas is being sucked in to the DiMera world. John promises her that he will talk to Lucas. Tony calls as Marlena answers the phone, but hangs up on him, telling John it was no one. She tells John that Tony is out to destroy them and needs to be stopped. John assures her that nothing is going to happen to her or the family and hugs her.

Wedding Preparations…
There is chaos at the Deveraux house as Jen is rushing around and Hope tries to hurry her up. They are headed for a day at the salon, but Jennifer still can’t believe that she was talked into televising their wedding. Jack shows up as Jen hides and Hope tries to keep him from seeing Jen. But he tricks them and gets to see her. As Hope and Jen leave, Shmenkman (the producer) arrives. Going through his list, Jack realizes that he doesn’t have the ring and panics. He calls Lucas (his best man) and his mind is put to ease. Then, he realizes that he and Jen have the wrong vows, so he rushes off to the salon to exchange them.

Jen and Hope are enjoying themselves at the spa as Jen only wishes that her mom and dad could be there, along with Mike and Carrie. We also learn that Doug and Julie won’t be in attendance (they are on a cruise). Hope wishes Bo could be there and then informs Jen that she is taking off to meet up with him afterwards. She rushes off to go home and pack a bag so she will be ready to leave right after the wedding. Jen gets a message from Jack informing her that he has arranged for her to have a facial as well. As Gloria is doing the facial, Jack sneaks in and goes through Jen’s purse. Jen (who has cucumber slices on her eyes) smells his cologne, but Gloria covers, saying it’s what HER husband wears. As Jack is digging through her purse, he cell phone begins ringing, but Gloria convinces her to let them leave a message. Jack gets what he came for and sneaks out. Hope rushes back in, telling Jen that Jack is up to something…his car is in the parking lot. Jack returns home, mission accomplished. Shmenkman leaves as Jack gets a disturbing call…Bill Horton’s third gift is due to arrive in Salem today. Also, as Hope and Jen are finishing up at the salon, Jen gets a call from Jack, telling her about the gift and she is worried as well. The doorbell rings as Jack answers it. He opens the door, looks up and down and says “I don’t believe it”…with closing shot on Jack’s surprised face…

On the Next Days of Our Lives…

Abby says to reporters… My mommy and daddy are getting married today! As we see Hope asking Jen if she is ready. Jen says “let’s get this show on the road”…

Jack is asking “where is the best man?” as we see Lucas asking Victor if they have a deal. Victor says yes and they shake on it…

Philip is asking Nicole what is going on as she tells him she is locked in her room. Then we see him kicking down the door….

Chloe nearly blows her big chance, Bo’s prey is closer than he thinks, & Rex confirms one of his DNA tests (.Linda had a problem, so bear with me, did not take notes, lol)

AT THE BLUE NOTE Chloe falters several times, as both Belle & Shawn, then Victor & Nicole arrive. (Earlier Victor had ordered an unwilling Nicole to get dressed and go with him, for Brady’s sake, even choosing her dress). Brady keeps giving her encouraging looks, while Nancy looks anxious, and Cecilia Marin is disapproving. Brady finally announces a change in repertoire, grabs the mike, and begins the male half of an operatic duet. He sings a few lines, Chloe relaxes, sings back, then goes solo. It is a short aria, everyone stands up & applauds, including Ms. Marin, tho she is barely tapping her hands together.
Philip slips out, Victor talks privately with Ms. Marin, with an interested Nicole watching. She has ordered a couple of martini’s and tho Vic doesn’t like it, she knows he won’t make a scene. Chloe is tired and wants to go home, but Nancy wants to talk w/her a few minutes, so Brady goes for the car. Nancy tells Chloe how proud she is of her, how happy to have reconnected with her. Chloe says Bueno Note’ (think it means good or beautiful night), and says she has to work on her Italian. Nancy says no you don’t, you’re perfect, as she caresses Chloe’s head. Then Nancy says, “Don’t change a hair for me, not if you care for me.” Chloe smiles, they hug, and tell each other they love each other, and both have tears in their eyes. (So did I, folks, as I have a sneaking suspicion this was the last time we will see Nancy…..and those words……they are partial lyrics from the song…My Funny Valentine. Jeez, am tearing up as I write this, cuz I am so gonna miss Nancy & Craig……hate it that he was not there for her audition)
Nancy wishes her daughter, Godspeed, picks up her purse, and leaves. Chloe looks after her with tears running down her face. (Love you, Nancy!) Belle & Shawn dance, as he cannot believe he has her in his arms, without her having to rush off to a supermarket opening with Philip. Belle wonders why he disappeared w/o even saying goodbye. Brady talks to his grandfather while Chloe is talking w/Nancy. Chloe pops up, giving Brady a hard time about filling a place like the Blue Note with opera music, and that is not the way to run the club…..it’s service, mood, food, dance…..etc. etc.

REX IS STILL UPSET over the DNA results on Belle, and decides he must have done something wrong on his own, so is back at the computer. Mimi gets a call from one of her admirers, Matt, inviting her for a lattee. Rex tells her to go, so she agrees to meet the guy at the coffee shop by the river (oh, GMAB….any other time it is dot.com or Java Café). Off she goes, and Rex redoes all his research. He cannot believe it…..Belle is definitely NOT his sister.(BTW…..it is mentioned a couple of times that Mimi took forks from Sami, Belle & Marlena….no one else, so those are his only DNA samples)

ON THE PIER Philip is in a full wet suit, oxygen tank on his back, and slips into the water. (Ah, thus the mention of Navy SEAL training earlier). He later climbs out, takes off his gear, noting a cut on his left arm that is bleeding. After he is dressed, he takes a flashlight, and begins signaling (I think in Morse code) out in the direction of the water. A voice startles him, as Mimi appears, wondering what he is doing. He claims to have thought he saw something, but was only a beer can. (Tsk on whoever threw it into the river, there are recycle containers for those). She talks about her new car, promises to take him for a ride som
