IN THE LOFT Philip comes downstairs, where Belle stands in her kimono. She regrets her actions of the night before, saying she went entirely too far. She claims the drink went to her head, along with the sounds of Mimi & Rex making love, & apologizes. She goes upstairs, comes down later dressed. Philip is in a tank top now, & tells her how pretty she looks. He admits having lied to her previously, that there is no mystery woman, that it is Belle he has loved all along, & moves in for a kiss. Belle responds. Jan is on the fire escape, gleefully filming it all to send back to Shawn.

Meanwhile, Shawn is still trying to extricate himself from his cage. Jan returns, taunts him about Belle & Philip. Shawn eggs her on, telling her to get more proof, & she leaves. Shawn uses the steel bar to pry the chain off his ankle tho he injures it in the process, causing it to bleed. (he has no shirt all this while, but DOES have socks on……too funny!) He then manages to pry the chain from the cage door, and frees himself, only to find the bedroom door locked.

BRADY IS FLYING TO Vienna to see Chloe, much to Nicole’s chagrin. She tries to talk him out of it, to no avail. She talks of having feelings for him and he admits beginning to have feelings for her. John enters at this point, hearing this. Nicole leaves the room, John & Brady talk for a bit. Brady explains having to go to Austria to see if Chloe has moved on or not. John leaves, telling him to have a good trip. Nicole comes back in, & Brady tells her he has to go.

Meanwhile in Austria, doctors & nurses are hovering over a bandaged up Chloe, worried about stopping the internal bleeding. Chloe keeps murmuring the name Brady, the doctor finds the name on her cell phone….and calls Brady, informing him of the accident, & that Chloe may not make it. Brady is horrified, exclaiming “Chloe can’t die!

AT BASIC BLACK Kate is remembering her encounter with John on the roof, and in he walks. They both apologize to each other, and talk of having to move on with their lives at some point. They both leave.

Sami is in her bathroom, admiring her ring, and spots Lucas standing at the table, having made breakfast for her. They are both very happy, they kiss, and in comes Kate. Sami leaves the room, Kate gives Lucas a hard time about Sami, but he is adamant about being happy with her. Sami comes out, takes her food and leaves again. Lucas tells Kate she needs a man in her life, and Kate mentions John. Lucas thinks it is a good idea, gives her some encouragement, and Kate leaves. Lucas begins to clear the table (lol, he has not even sat down to eat yet) & the phone rings. He answers, and is surprised to learn it is Brandon. Just then Sami comes out asking who is on the phone.

John & Kate both return to Basic Black. Kate tells him that she has decided to let Roman go, and needs his help. She talks of moving on with her life, and that John needs to do the same. She moves in for a kiss (she’s good at this seducing bit….guess she is remembering her past), talking of moving on. They kiss.

ON THE ISLAND Roman wakes up to find Marlena at his side. He seems to feel pretty good, but she tells him he has a bad infection, and he realizes he could possibly die. He tells her she was always the only one, talking of their twins and marriage. She tells him that if not for Stefano, they would probably still be together. He wants to make love to her before he dies. They embrace, kiss and begin to make love.
Abe & Hope are trying to make their way thru the jungle, when Abe realizes they probably have been going in circles, showing Hope a branch he had broken last nite. We see a person, wearing a straw hat with a big colored hankerchief or bandana covering their face (Oh, that is sooooooo ridiculous!) following them. Abe realizes someone is around, goes off with Hope, circling around behind the person, grabs the person, (looks small enough to be a female to me, as Hope prepares to pull off the kerchief.
Patrick is tending to Jen, who won’t wake up. He gets concerned, but she finally opens her eyes, asking immediately where Jack is. Patrick says he is not there, she claims he was, she saw him, & Patrick reassures her. She realizes she must have kissed Patrick, and he apologizes, saying she was so agitated, he did not know what to do, & was worried about her baby. Later, she is gasping in labor, and asks Patrick to promise her he will let her die

AT THE COP SHOP Bo sits at his computer, trying to get the signal back. Suddenly it comes on, and he ponders the familiarity of it. A lightbulb goes on, and he flashes back to a childhood scene Roman making up the secret code, showing little Bo how to spell Roman on it…and saying they could always talk to each other and no one would know what they were saying. Back to the present, as Bo begins to write down the letters. R-O-M-A-N. He continues on, then he gets up saying …Roman – Marlena…….they’re ALIVE! The camera freezes on his face…… and the previews show

Well, if you liked today's show, you'll LOVE tomorrow's as it's pretty much a repeat. Guess the writers really wanted to make sure everyone was caught up after the two week break, haha. A few new scenes with Mimi and Rex at Java Cafe were thrown in too.

Previously on Days of Our Lives...(ooh, a new show opener...)

We see a flashback of Chloe's accident as the doctors work on her..then when she got in her limo after her performance and talking to Brady. Subtitles of the Austrian doctors worried about her low blood pressure and hoping she won't die. Unconscious, Chloe remembers when she and Brady were in the cabin and admitted loving each other before making love in front of the fire. The doctors pull off their gloves, saying there's no hope.

Back in Salem...Nicole's still trying to stop Brady from going to Austria and hugging him. He apologizes, breaking the embrace and leaves as Nicole cries. Guess he didn't get far as he answers the phones moments later to learn about Chloe's accident. The doctor tells Brady he doesn't think Chloe will live, but Brady tells him he doesn't understand, Chloe cannot die.

More flashbacks of Sami in her robe dreaming about Lucas' proposal as a shirtless Lucas pours her some coffee. She tells him she doesn't deserve to be with him, so how can she marry him. He tells her they will be together. She has another of her 50's flashbacks in black and white of her dressed like June Cleaver, pouring coffee to Ward, er, Lucas while the Beaver, oops, Will walks in proudly announcing to mother and father that he's almost finished his volcano science project for school. Back to reality, she's worried about if she jinxed their relationship as she had with Brandon and Austin. She goes to get dressed and kids him about him doing the dishes. Even though he cooked, he says this once he'll do the dishes too because he loves her as she thanks him and closes the door to change (why?). The phone rings and Lucas is surprised to find it's Brandon calling. Sami comes out, dressed and talks to Brandon.

Back to Jan taunting Shawn (didn't miss this crap for two weeks, that's for sure). She jaunts off to video Phil and Belle in bed as he breaks open his cage lock (excuse me..need another gulp of coffee to stay awake with these rerun flashbacks....guess if you missed the last couple of episodes or didn't surf summaries on the net you might not know this stuff happened, ha!). Shawn struggles to get out and seeing Philip kiss Belle and tell her he loves her, finds the energy to break the chain and find the door to the bedroom locked.

Phil confessing his feelings to Belle....as Jan lurks through the shears sending a live feed to Shawn. Shawn goes manic and using one of the bars from his cage, pulls open his door and rushes out. We see Philip and Belle kissing on the screen.

John popping in to see Kate and she has an important decision....to let Roman go and needs his help to do it. As her “friend” he'll help her in any way he can. She needs more then “friendly” help and needs to feel whole again...(phew..if anyone ever needed a COLD shower..it's Kate...John doesn't stand a chance, LOL)

Another flashback of Roman's getting hurt and asking for Marlena to tell him the truth about his infection. He tells an emotional Marlena that she has been and always will be his one true love. She asks about Kate and he admits loving Kate with all of his heart and always will, but regrets the day he let Marlena go and how they have two beautiful children together. Those were the happiest days of his life and crying, she says she feels the same way and if Stefano hadn't come into their lives, they'd still be together (personally, I like Josh Taylor, but if Wayne Northrup's Roman was telling Marlena that, I'd be more choked up) She's crying as he tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him too and doesn't want him to die. They fall to the ground.

Jennifer in labor talking to Patrick about letting her die to save the baby. She remembers something Lexie said and hands Patrick the knife to cut out the baby if she dies as she writhes in pain. Screaming, she asks him to tell Jack and her children how much she loves them. (Did Jennifer's belly expand over the two week break or is it my imagination?) He has her squeeze his hand as she screams (amazingly enough, Hope and Abe don't hear her, LOL!)

Hope and Abe lurking in the jungle as Abe grabs their stalker (captor?). She goes to unmask him and he/she struggles and gets away as Abe gets caught in a net. Hope stays with Abe and doesn't pursue. Later she gets him out of the net and they find the force field preventing them from getting any further to find Jennifer. She tells him about her and Bo's ability to stay in tune with each other, even while apart.

Mimi and Rex are at Java Cafe as she remembers her female problems. He asks why she's not eating and she asks what the point if she's dying? She covers, not telling him her suspicions, citing he look at what happened to Patrick, Belle and Shawn. He goes on about their Hawaii vacation as Mimi's mind wanders figuring she'll be dead by then. She tells him she can't go and he cites reasons she should as she cries. She asks for Green Tea which surprises Rex as she usually likes her mochas and lattes. She figures she needs to boost her immune system and stay healthy as he goes to get it and she calls for a rush doctor appointment.

Bo in his office promising to find his Fancy Face (time for another sip of coffee) as he listens to the recorded code he received after remembering why it sounded familiar. He deciphers the code and writes it out ..Roman and Marlena are alive. He calls John and Kate, but horny Kate urges John to ignore the phone and make love with her. She vows they'll both be dead inside if they keep up like this (the phone must've gone to voice mail). She continues kissing him as he finally caves and although the phone rings again, they both ignore it. John unties Kate's top and she's left in her black slip and pearls as the two of them fall on her desk (couldn't she have told him this in her apartment..with a lock on the door..or is it she knows John's fascination with making love in office buildings?) John's still fully dressed as Bo breaks in and surprised at what he finds, announces that Kate's husband, John's wife and his are all still alive.

ON THE NEXT DOOL....

Lucas asks Sami what that was all about and what the hell did Brandon want....?

Jan walks towards her cage room, wondering how Shawn liked the Belle and Philip video when she sees he's broken out. She screams NO, OH NO....

Bo asks Kate if she doesn't want his brother to be alive so she could make a play for him (pointing at John)...

Marlena tells Roman they won't let him die and he weakly responds..it's too late....

More repeating of various scenes, w/things barely moving along. This is like watching summer reruns. LOL Sami’s phone chat w/Brandon doesn’t set well w/Lucas, Bo tries to convince John & Marlena of his findings, Shawn continues his escape attempts, while Mimi calls on Belle for moral support.

Lucas once more answers the phone to Brandon, but this time asking what the call is all about. Sami comes out, takes the phone, and Lucas overhears her lenghthy chit chat w/Brandon. His cell phone is cutting in and out, she hangs up. Lucas questions her, and they argue, w/Sami saying she is just happy he still wants to talk to her. Brandon calls back, and she resumes chatting away about Will, & rather mundane things, as Lucas paces. Sami goes on and on (looks like Lucas is no longer there), and she does not notice….lol, & finally she asks Brandon exactly why he called. Later we see her saying “I’ll think about it”, and she hangs up. (Maybe she will now notice Lucas has left!)

Another replay of Philip telling Belle she is his mystery woman, how he loves her, Jan video-taping thru the window, Shawn breaking out of his ankle chain, the cage and finally the bedroom door. Ho, Hum(Boy, they sure are getting a lot of mileage out of these scenes, lol). . Belle gets an emergency call from Mimi, & leaves, disappointing Jan, who leaves too. Shawn finally gets outside, leather jacket, shoes & all, (wonder where he found them, lol), manages to find his bike in the garage (now HOW did he know Jan had moved it there, and wonder when she did that? Lolol). He tries to start it, to no avail. Finally it turns over, but dies out once again. He looks down to see his foot bleeding thru his socks. Meanwhile, Jan has returned, sees the empty cage, yells, no, no, and goes looking for Shawn. She hears the bike ignition turn over, and goes to the garage, calling Shawn’s name. He is lamely hiding behind a small wall about 6 inches away from her. (Can someone PLEASE put us all out our misery and end this travesty of a storyline?)

At the Java Café, Mimi is calling Lexie for an appointment. She lies to Rex about who was on the phone, saying it was Belle. She takes her tea & leaves. She calls Belle, asking her to meet her at the hospital, and then later, after meeting her there, tells Belle she thinks she has cancer. (Kudos to Farah Fath, she does good job here). She explains why she doesn’t want to tell Rex yet. Belle tells her how Philip has told her that she is his mystery woman, & they talk about Shawn. Belle still loves him, but Mimi tells her she should move on, Shawn is not returning, and life is too short not to enjoy it.

Replay of Roman & Marlena kissing, & starting to make out. Abe & Hope arrive, with Abe asking what is going on? They learn Roman’s foot has infected, all of Marlena’s antibiotics have not worked, and Roman may die. Abe says maybe that was the plan all along, to kill us off one by one, Ten Little Indians (Hmmm, that is the 2nd or 3rd time Agatha Christie’s mystery has been mentioned). Roman is very weak, murmurs for them all to go & help the others & passes out. (gee….if he & Marlena had continued making love………???? Lolol) Marlena cries, & says Roman still has a pulse, but is burning up with fever. Hope goes for some water, while Abe lectures Marlena, reminding her that tho John & Kate think they are dead, she & Roman know they are still alive, and are still married to their spouses. Marlena claims to just offering Roman some comfort, with him being so ill, and says that things were not right between her and John back in Salem, and he may not even want to be married to her any longer. (Oh, yeah, right!) Abe & Hope leave to resume their search for Jennifer.

Yep, we have a rerun of the John/Kate makeout session on the desk, with Bo bursting in asking what the heck is going on, & declaring that Roman & Marlena are alive, and he has the evidence to prove it. Kate nearly passes out, but recovers. Bo explains the secret code he & Roman devised as kids (gee, always thought Roman was a lot older than Bo….hmmm.) and how he realized that was the signal. He tells them the message….Marlena is alive, Roman is alive. Bo & John argue, as both John & Kate are skeptical, and just cannot believe it. Bo & John continue to argue, but John says then let’s go down to the “ cop shop” (love their use of the EE nickname) to check the signal out. They leave, and Kate picks up Roman’s picture off the floor, & says she wishes he could really be alive. Lucas comes in, asking his mom if she wants to go to dinner or something. Kate realizes Sami has done something, & Lucas tells her that Brandon called, he heard Sami’s end of the conversation, and she told Brandon she loved him. Kate goes on a rant, of course, imploring Lucas to not let Sami hurt him again.

Rex returns home, sees Philip in the hall taking garbage out. They argue big time about Belle & Shawn, with Philip saying he finally told Belle how he feels, and Rex berating him for betraying his best friend. Philip says if Shawn was there, he’d punch his teeth in for the way he has treated Belle, & Rex says he will be glad to stand in for Shawn and defend the Brady honor. (!!!) They agree to take it outside and duke it out…..and get in the elevator. (Must be a setup for another shirtless scene for them both, lol)

At the cop shop, Bo shows John the signal, and his deciphering. He convinces John that if there is the slightest chance any of their loved ones are alive, they have to do all they can to find them. John agrees, and they sit down to try and figure out the location of the signal. Freeze frame……. and the previews of the next episode roll…….

Abe asks Hope how she’d feel if Bo thought she was gone and ……Hope replies, “You mean if Bo moved on w/another woman. Is that what you’re asking me?”

John tells Bo, as Tek comes in, that soon they will know the location of your signal

Philip asks Belle to let him take her away and show her what a beautiful relationship they can have…what a beautiful future. Then asks, “What do you say?”

Summary: Things are finally beginning to move…in real Salem as well as fake Salem. Mimi is examined by Lexie…Rex and Philip get physical…Nancy pays a visit to Brady bearing sad news…Bo works to find the source of the signal, as Celeste seems to be the only one to believe in him…Abe and Hope continue to search for Jen and Patrick…A mysterious figure ruins the transmitter (and yes, we see who it is).

At the Hospital…Mimi and Belle continue to talk as Lexie comes in to examine her and Mimi asks if Belle can stay with her. Meanwhile, Celeste shows up at the hospital and gasps as she has a vision of Abe wielding a machete. He speaks to her, telling her he is not dead and not to let Lexie break her marriage vows. In the examining room Belle urges Mimi to come clean with Rex and tell him what’s going on, but she says she can’t and makes Belle promise not to tell either. We don’t hear/see any more of the exam, but only them leaving as a delivery guy brings Lexie a huge bouquet of red roses. The card asks if she is free tonight and signed by “guess who”. Lexie calls Tek and accepts his date as they plan to go to the movies. Celeste walks in and tells her that Abe would not approve. Lexie rolls her eyes, telling her she doesn’t want to hear it, but Celeste keeps on, telling her to stop before it’s too late. Lexie reminds her that Abe is dead, but Celeste says she is wrong, he is alive “dahling”…and he isn’t the only one.

Rex and Philp take it outside… giving them the opportunity to strip their shirts off (like the need a reason?) and play one on one basketball. They continue to bicker and insult each other as their game gets more and more physical. Rex throws the ball and hits Philip in the gut and they get into a brawl…only to be broken up by Mimi and Belle. Mimi sees that Rex is bleeding and breaks down. He wants to know what is wrong, but she won’t tell him. At first he thinks she is seeing someone else, but she denies it. Then he thinks she is upset because of Patrick, which she agrees. He tells her that he loves her and wants to grow old with her as they hug. Meanwhile, Philip explains to Belle why they were fighting and how Rex took Shawn’s side. Belle tells Philip she doesn’t want to rush into anything (as she hears Mimi’s advice to go for it). Philip tells Belle he has a leaving coming up and asks her to go away with him, no pressure, and as a friends so they can work things out. Belle is conflicted, but finally agrees to go as they hug as well.

At the Kiriakis Mansion…Nicole asks Brady about Chloe as he explains what happened. He says he must go to her as he has a flashback of when she had leukemia. Nicole says it may be too late but he is determined. He calls the Titan jet to make arrangements, but finds out that because of heightened international terror alert, flight plans have to be filed 48 hours in advance and he is furious. The doorbell rings as he answers it to find Nancy Wesley in tears. (Wow, Patrika looks great) They hold each other as she tells him that her baby is gone…Chloe is dead. They hold each other as she explains that she had to tell him in person and that the doctors did all they could to save her. Nicole offers her condolences and leaves them alone (but listens from the door). Nancy assures Brady that Chloe loved him with every breath she took and that the tabloid rumors were false. Nicole listens, thinking it doesn’t matter as long as she is dead. (what a cold remark). Nancy tells Brady that she and he have a lot in common, neither of them had much time with Chloe (as Nancy has a flashback of when she first found Chloe at the orphanage and asked her to come home with her). She thanks Brady for loving Chloe and encouraging her to follow her dreams. Brady also has flashbacks of when she left. Both are now crying as Nancy goes to leave. Brady wants to go with her, but she says no, the flight is completely booked. She won’t listen to him and rushes out as he pleads with her. She hugs him and tells him there is nothing he can to but to go to the church instead and light a candle for Chloe…their new guardian angel. With that she leaves, with Brady upset and confused as Nicole watches him. She comes outside and offers him a hug.

On Salem Island… Abe and Hope are making their way through the jungle searching for Jen and Patrick. They stop for a minute as Hope prays that Bo got the signal. Abe gets upset thinking about Lexie moving on and suggests that maybe that is all part of their captor’s plan. He asks how she would react if she found out that Bo moved on. Hope is sure it would never happen, Bo wouldn’t give up on her. Abe asks her after he was gone, how was Lexie doing? Later, they reach the ravine where she left Jen and Patrick, but they see the ledge is gone as they both are yelling for them. Abe hears something (was it Jen screaming?…sounds like a bird squawking) and tells Hope to come on and they rush off.

At the Faux Penthouse…Doug is still there guarding the device as we see a figure hooded in black watching. A remote control is used which makes the doorbell ring. Doug goes to the door, but no one is there. He sees the elevator door closing and then it stops. He takes the stairs, thinking someone is trapped in the elevator. While he is gone, the figure picks up a picture of Roman and Marlena and asks “will your loved ones find you in time?…don’t hold your breath” and turns around…yes, it’s Tony. He walks over to the device, calling it “a little science project” and smashes it, taking a piece of it. He calls someone on the phone, telling them it is done and now the plan can proceed. Doug returns and the front door is locked. He is sure he didn’t even close the door. Tony uses the remote and the door opens as he hides. Doug comes in to find the transmitter smashed to pieces, asking “who would do this?”

At the Cop Shop…Bo, John and Tek are working to find the source of the signal. Bo had deciphered the part about Roman and Marlena, but couldn’t figure out the rest. John and Tek are pessimistic and can’t understand how either of them could be alive, but Bo is sure of it as he continues to work. Tek logs into the ISA computer as Bo looks at Hope’s picture, saying he can FEEL she is alive as well. They get a satellite photo of a general region, but can’t pinpoint the source. John’s guess is that the signal is coming from the Caribbean. Later, the signal suddenly stops (this is when Tony smashes the transmitter). Bo tries to get it back, but John tells him it is over. Bo refuses to give up, saying that Roman and Marlena are alive. A voice says “they aren’t the only ones” as they all turn to see Celeste and Lexie entering. Lexie says “go on Mom…tell them”. Celeste explains that she has been having strong feelings and vibrations about Marlena being alive and being with the other “dead of Salem”. She is sure that every single one of them is alive. Freeze frame on 2 faces…John with a disbelieving look…and Bo with a hopeful one…as the previews show…

Patrick (holding the knife): Jennifer, this the only chance your baby has…as she screams…

Jan (to Shawn): What do you think you are doing?…as he punches her in the face…

Lucas (to Sami): You were on the phone with Brandon when I left…what the hell was THAT all about?…

Tek: Lexie is right…all the victims were dead, this has to be some kind of vicious, sick hoax. Bo: Roman, Marlena and all the rest of them are ALIVE! (as John stares at him)…

And the credits roll…

Summary: Lots going on in tomorrow's show as the OLD Salemites learn about Chloe's death and go to her memorial service and Shawn's brain apparently is leaking through his foot as he can only think about finding Belle...In NEW Salem Jennifer finally has her baby (and yes, we find out what sex it is) as the senior residents worry about if they're the only ones left.

LUCAS returns back to Sami's apartment and confronts her, saying it looks like she's doing some heavy thinking. He doesn't buy Brandon just calling to see how she is and wants to know what was with her “I love you too” comment. She justifies that Brandon was a big part of her life at one time and yeah, she does miss him. He asks whatsupwiththat and she explains she's trying to do what he wanted, putting her past behind her and being the kind of person he wanted her to be when they got married. Belle calls and tells her about Chloe (see below).

JAN finds Shawn's bike is still in the shed and opens the back door to find Shawn standing there. Cue the Jack Nicholson voice as he says “hello Jan”. Nervously she asks him what he's doing and he asks if she remembers the first time he tried to escape, she told him to beat the hell out of her the first time he had a chance? Well....and he right punches her in the face, knocking her out cold. He limps to his bike, it fires right up this time..and leaves. Later Jan wakes up with a sore jaw, determined not to lose him. She tells “sweetie pie” she'll find him.

MIMI AND REX walk back to the loft as they argue about Belle and Philip going to Green Mountain Lodge. They overhear Rex urging Belle to get away and relax. The phone rings and Philip tells Belle she can't think it's Shawn every time the phone rings. It's Brady (now wearing a black suit and Nicole in a black dress) with bad news. Of course she asks if it's Shawn, but Brady tells her no, it's Chloe and that she's dead. Before telling Rex, Mimi or Philip apparently (Chloe's friends), Belle calls Sami and they overhear as she tells Sami that Chloe was killed in a car crash in Vienna and Brady's having a memorial service for her at the church. Sami doesn't feel Brady would want her there, but Belle justifies she's family and besides, she needs to speak with her about something. Crying, she hangs up and sees how upset Philip is. He tells her that Chloe was his first love and he was a jerk, obsessive and jealous of her. Brady deserved Chloe as he was strong and patient with her. Belle tells Philip “ just like you are with me.” Crying she tells him it's horrible as Brady and Chloe had their whole life together. Mimi watches as Philip and Belle fall into a comfort hug and flashes back to her own problem, then going into Rex's arms.

AT THE COP SHOP, CELESTE insists all murder victims are still alive as Bo believes her after deciphering his and Roman's secret code. John doesn't look like he's buying it as Lexie wants more information. Lexie realizes she mispronounced all of them dead and can't believe it. Tek thinks it's a hoax. John rationalizes that Stefano extracted their secret code and is using it now. Tek believes that could be possible. Tek reminds Lexie he was with her when she pronounced some of them dead. John knows that Marlena was. Bo suggests they exhume the rest of the bodies to confirm their suspicions (about time). The others don't agree, but Bo pursues his logic and John refuses to help convince people to sign the exhumation requests. Lexie offers to sign the papers for Abe's and Bo said he'll approve Roman's. John reminds him that Kate was Roman's wife and looking John in the eye, Bo acknowledges that yes, she was. Bo asks if he'll ask her and John agrees to. Bo calls Judge Fitzpatrick (knows the number by heart, haha).

MAGGIE and ALICE are at the pub, worrying about Jen. Maggie knew how weak Jennifer was (was Jennifer's pregnancy high risk at the time Maggie was murdered, or is she going on what she's heard?) Alice knows there's nothing they can do but pray. They wonder if Jack found Jennifer and remember how Jack's love helped Jennifer through Abby's birth. Later we see Caroline and Victor with them. Victor was going to join Doug, but Doug walks in and tells them about someone walking into the penthouse and destroying the transmitter. They don't know if the signals ever got through. We return to them all sitting at a table after Doug tells what happened and they speculate what's happening out in the jungle, hoping they aren't being punished for trying to escape. We return later as they wonder about Cassie. They haven't seen her in days. Doug mentions she and Tony have been together (hmm...makes sense). They wonder if they are the only survivors on the island left.

BRADY is at the church and flashes back to the goodbye scene with Chloe at the airport again. Frustrated he shouldn't have let her go or should have been with her and this wouldn't have happened. Nicole comforts him. The loft foursome arrive, as do Sami and Lucas. (Everybody looks gorgeous). Sami tells Brady how sorry she is and knows how much he loved Chloe...then comments to Nicole how she knows Nicole's anxious to jump his bones now (LOL..Sami, Sami). Softly she apologizes and Brady goes into management mode and suggests they all go into the church.

MIMI gets a cell call, remembering Lexie's promise to call as soon as the results come back. She urges the other to go ahead. It's Jan asking if Belle has heard from Shawn. Mimi tells her no and that they're all at St. Lukes for Chloe's memorial service. Jan is surprised to find “ghoul girl” is dead, but Mimi tells her to stay away, she's not welcome. Jan figures if Belle's at the church, that's where Shawn would go and will go there to head him off at the pass.

SHAWN staggers out of the loft elevator and looks for his key. He opens the door and says NO as no one is home. (Everyone has cleaned up, changed and gone to the memorial service already.) Calling Belle's name out, he limps around her loft looking for her (get a grip Shawn, call the cop shop and tell your dad what happened!!) He picks up the picture of Belle and Philip, hangs up the phone (must have called her cell) and leaves. Next we see him going into Bo and Hope's house and finding the house empty. He picks up their phone and first calls Hope's cell and gets no answer or voice mail. He then calls Bo's cell (which is busy as he's talking to the Judge) and says “Dad, hey, it's me. Do you know where Belle is. Just call me as soon as you get this message and where's mom cuz her phone isn't working either” (don't you think he would mention being kidnapped all summer and oh, WHERE to call him as he obviously doesn't have a cell phone, LOL!!, but I digress) He decides to go back to Belle's apartment (hey, take a shower and change first!) and leaves.

BO gets off the phone and gets Shawn's message. Guess he must have caller ID as he knew Shawn was calling from home and calls there. The babysitter had just returned with Zack from the park, saying Shawn's not there.

BRADY calls John and tells him about Chloe. John tells him he'll be at the memorial service (better hurry). After telling everyone at the cop shop what happened, John said he'll pick up Kate on the way to the church, but doesn't want to worry others about this yet.

Back outside the church again ???, BRADY AND NICOLE talk. She knows how difficult this is for him. She acknowledges how he has been the rock in her own life and wants to return the favor by supporting him now. She offers “special loving comfort” if he needs it, they're under the same roof after all. We all know what she means, but he doesn't as he thanks her and they go inside (again).

Flowers and a huge portrait of Chloe are on the altar as Rex worries about Mimi. She knew how Chloe was so young and had found the love of her life. Philip tells Lucas that Shawn will have a fight on his hands if/when he returns and by the time he and Belle return from GML, they'll be together. Sami and Belle talk privately and Belle insists she and Philip are not going to share a room. Sami encourages her differently as Jan walks in dressed as a nun and hides out in the confessional. She has a shot all ready to give Shawn when he arrives and he'll be all hers again. (even she knows Shawn isn't smart enough to go to the cop shop, report what happened and have his father arrest her) Later Sami tells Belle about Brandon's call and Sami said something about starting over now. Belle asks what about Lucas, and close by, Lucas asks the same question.

SHAWN staggers into Belle's loft and after taking his one bloody tennis shoe off, falls asleep on the couch. (seems like riding that motorcycle would be hard with an injured right foot?)

JENNIFER is still in labor on the island and finally out of those jeans, which are now draped to her knees as Patrick coaches her to PUSH. He watches and doesn't touch her as she screams she needs help as he tells her the shoulders are through. He picks up the knife, knowing it's the only chance her baby has as she screams again (OUCH). We return as Jen gives a couple more yowzas....and Patrick delivers her baby BOY . Upset she can't hear him crying, Patrick figures he's not breathing and pays more attention. Jennifer watches and prays to God for Patrick to save her son. We hear a baby crying and wrapped in his shirt, he hands her son to her. Jennifer snuggles her son, crying in relief. Later Patrick is concerned about all the blood. Jen is weak, but happy she and the baby are both alive. (where the heck is Jack????) Jennifer is still in pain and he tells her she's still bleeding and he can't stop it. They have to pray Hope returns with medical supplies soon. Jennifer worries she might die as the baby starts crying...

Bo has a map of the island he thinks all their loved ones are at. (Want to guess the island's name? You remember AREMID (DiMera backwards). This island is MELASWEN (yup, New Salem backwards, LOL!)

Jan has Nicole in her confessional, tells her about Shawn escaping and she needs to get him back in his cage.

Roman weakly tells Marlena he has so much to say to her, about asking her to make love with him.

Lucas asks Sami if she was given the choice...would she choose Brandon or him?

Summary: Chloe’s friends attend a memorial, as Shawn searches for Belle and Jan searches for HIM…Hope and Patrick work to save Jennifer…Marlena stays by a dying Roman’s side…and the Salemites exhume 2 more graves, learning that Marlena isn’t the only one missing.

Friends bid Goodbye to Chloe…as Father Jansen begins the memorial service at St. Luke’s as Jan is lurking around in the nun’s habit waiting for Shawn. But he is at Belle’s loft and passes out on the sofa. Later he decides to take care of his foot and heads upstairs. Meanwhile, Jan grows impatient. Later we see Shawn changed and his foot bandaged and tries to call Belle again (remember she turned her phone off). He has flashbacks of Jan’s little show of Philip and Belle together and swears not to let Philip have her. He turns on the TV and learns of Chloe’s accident and death and of the memorial service. He is sure that is where everyone is and gets dressed and decides to head over there.

At the church, Brady speaks of Chloe and how he lost the one he wanted to share his life with. He talks about how she was living her dream. He nods as we hear her voice begin singing a beautiful song (the title may possibly be “I’ll Never Hold You Again”) and we see flashbacks of her and Brady. The camera moves to Mimi (who this is hitting hard) as she thinks of Rex and herself. Then Belle is thinking of Shawn as she takes out her ring. Sami then begins to have flashbacks of Brandon. As the song ends, Brady says “Goodbye Chloe…I love you”. He tells Nicole that there will never be anyone like Chloe again as she stares at him (why do I get the feeling she is involved in all this somehow?). After the service Kate and John arrive from the cemetery (see below) and offer their condolences to Brady. Kate goes to talk to Philip and learns that he and Belle are going away and she is thrilled. Sami tells Belle to forget about Shawn and move on with Philip. Belle turns the tables and asks her about Brandon and points out that she is now with Lucas. She asks if she is still in love with Brandon and reminds her that he dumped her. (Lucas is overhearing all this). Mimi is down and out and Rex notices asking her what is wrong. She breaks down as he hugs her. Kate and John prepare to leave and she tells him to call her if there is any news and they leave. As Brady stares at Chloe’s picture, Nicole thinks to herself “say goodbye to her Brady…and hello to your future with me”. She turns and sees Jan who tells her that Shawn has escaped and she needs her help. Nicole refuses to help her and urges her to get out of town. But Jan refuses, determined to get Shawn back in his cage. She is angry at Nicole and tells her she will remember this next time Nicole wants a favor. Nicole tries to get Brady to leave as Philip and Sami both slam Nicole and Brady defends her. Sami and Lucas leave as Nicole tells Brady not to worry about it, she KNOWS how everyone feels about her. Brady and Philip argue a bit over Philip trying to keep Chloe from returning to Salem (the Opera House), but Belle breaks them up. Before leaving, Nicole tells Philip that he is wrong about her…she did love Victor and she does care about Brady. They go to leave as Brady thanks Nicole for being so good to him and that he wishes others could see the good side of her (LOL). From the vestibule, Mimi stares into the church and imagines her and Rex on their wedding day. She asks Celeste about her future and if she ever sees her walking down this aisle. Celeste stares into the sanctuary and then tells Mimi no, but she sees her being “wheeled” down the aisle. Mimi rushes outside upset, as her phone rings. It is Lexie telling her that she has her results and wants to meet her at the hospital.

Back at Belle’s Shawn is heading out the door as Kate calls and leaves a message. He hears her telling Philip and Belle to have a good time at Green Mountain Lodge and how happy she is for them. This infuriates Shawn, who says he will KILL Philip first.

Sami and Lucas return to her apartment as he begins questioning her about Brandon. He asks her if Brandon would return, who would she choose?

In the Cemetery…Abe’s coffin is exhumed. John and Kate talk as Celeste continues to claim that all of the victims are alive, but John refuses to believe it. They open Abe’s coffin to find it empty and Lexie freaks out. John still doesn’t believe as Celeste asks Kate will she believe is Roman’s is also empty. They all head over to Roman’s coffin and open it…finding it empty as well as Kate collapses into John’s arms. Celeste declares that all of them will be empty for they are all alive. Bo says he is sure that they are all alive together somewhere, waiting on them to rescue them. Now Kate is beginning to believe it as well. John is still skeptical, but promises Bo to help. Bo tells Tek to go back to the station and try to pinpoint the location of the signal as Lexie goes with him. John, Kate and Celeste decide to go to the memorial service. They all decide to keep this to themselves until they learn more. Kate tells John if it is true, then Roman and Marlena could be together somewhere.

Later, John arrives at the cop shop as Tek, Bo and Lexie are working on the location of the signal. Tek finds it…an island called “Melaswen” (newsalem backward…this seems to be lost on Salem’s finest). Tek says that the island isn’t on any maps, but he was able to find it on an old pirate treasure map. John says they can take his jet and asks for the coordinates.

Meanwhile…on “Melaswen”…Patrick is trying to calm Jennifer, but he is worried she is losing so much blood. They hear Hope calling and she rushes into the cave. (Hey, what happened to Abe???) Jennifer tells her the news, she and Jack have a son as Patrick tells Hope that Jen is in trouble and losing a lot of blood…she may not make it. Hope goes through her supplies trying to find something to help. She works on Jen’s hemmoraging but the supplies and her experience are limited. She tells Patrick she fears that she is bleeding internally as well. Jen talks to the baby about her daddy and big sister and tells them she can’t wait until Jack finds out he has a son…as Patrick and Hope exchange worried glances. Patrick is afraid that Jen will die and Hope agrees that she will, unless she has a transfusion.

Elsewhere…Marlena is still by Roman’s side as he gets worse. He talks about the cycle of life and hopes that Jen and her baby are okay, saying that if he has to die for the baby to live, that is a good thing. He tells her that he is dying but must first apologize for what he did earlier. He says he knows that she loves John. She tells him yes, but she loves him too…always has…always will. He tells her it won’t be long as she holds him. Later, she is trying to get him to relax as he tells her that he is losing feeling in his arms and it’s getting dark. He tells her it isn’t so bad, because he can still see her beautiful face…the last thing he will ever see. He gasps a few times and slumps over as she begins to weep…and the previews show…

Rex (to Mimi): From now on, no more secrets. Mimi: I want to share my life with you…everything…

Lexie (to herself): It looks like Mimi isn’t out of the woods just yet…

As Marlena is crying over Roman, someone walks up behind her, carrying a hypodermic needle…

On the jet, John tells Bo it’s time to depart. Bo asks: What the hell are you talking about? (John): You and I are flying this baby right out of here…

IN OLD SALEM
REX returns home to their loft alone as Mimi disappeared at St. Lukes after getting Lexie's call. Looking at Mimi's picture, he calls her cell and leaves a concerned message for her to call (clock on wall appears to be around noon) Poor Rex..he checks Belle's and Mimi's not there either. He calls and orders a dozen red roses (which he changes to two dozen) to be delivered to his loft (4421 Riverfront Drive Unit #3B) and gives his credit card #. They tell him his credit card was declined and he realizes he has to get another job besides bartending at Alice's (has he priced roses?) Professor Ballo (sp) from Salem University arrives unexpectedly. He tells Rex this is the first night for the rest of his life. He's amazed that Rex figured out in 15 minutes what it took him weeks to figure out. He offers him a job at Salem University and Rex responds with SHUT UP. The professor is taken back (it is a rather rude come back) as Rex apologizes, saying that's one of his girlfriends favorite sayings. Rex accepts the job and the professor tells him his first name is Sanji. Now that they're working together, they can use first names. He says someone will contact Rex about what he needs to do to start work at the University. (I think it's as a professor, asst. professor) but not sure.

MIMI'S at the hospital for her meeting with LEXIE, sure she's dying with cancer. Lexie joins her and tells her she had the tests expedited so Mimi wouldn't worry all night. Mimi babbles on, sure she's dying and Lexie finally stops her and apologizes for scaring her. She assures Mimi her grave face (excuse the pun) wasn't because of her. (flash on them opening Abe's grave). Lexie gets beeped, she has another test result to look at. Mimi calls Belle's cell (guess Shawn forgot the number?) The technician gives Lexie another test result for Mimi and looking at it, Lexie sighs, saying Mimi's not out of the woods just yet. Lexie returns to her office and tells Mimi that she's pregnant. Mimi tells her to SHUT UP. Lexie is taken back, but Mimi clarifies that she said that not to be rude, but in a surprise response. Mimi asks about the bleeding then and Lexie asks Mimi if she's taken aspirin laterly and Mimi babbles saying yes..and allergy meds too. Mimi thinks out loud saying neither she and Rex are parent material. Lexie suggests she go home, put her feet up and think of how she's going to tell Rex. Mimi asks if sex is okay and Mimi says yes, just lay low on the meds for now. She tells Mimi she's there both as her doctor and as her friend. She steps outside Lexie's office saying this is heavy and how is she going to tell Rex??

Lexie wonders who was responsible for what happened to Abe and could her father be responsible? She sees Mimi's file and sighs.

Mimi returns back to the loft with a couple bags of groceries and passes the professor in the hallway. Mimi startled Rex (who was playing pool already) as she walks in. He asks what happened as he waited in the car for her for an hour and she tells him she went to the doctor. He grows concerned and doesn't want to be patronized when she tells him she had female problems and knew he'd be uncomfortable about it. She assures him she's okay as he tells her how much he loves her and never wants to be without her. He wants her to promise no more secrets, and she promises she wants to share everything with him too. They fall to the floor and we join them as they're nude under a blanket (those little rabbits). They both announce they have big news to tell the other and decide to do it over a romantic candlelight dinner. He offers to put the groceries away while she makes dinner. Mimi hopes Rex will be happy with her news.

JOHN and BO are about to jet off. John's pilot confirmed everything's ready (what about that 48 hrs. in advance like Brady was told?) and the two review maps as John notices Melaswen is NEW SALEM backwards in the reflection (some detectives..I caught that the second I saw it without a mirror, LOL!!) Bo is sure that's where they must be then. John gets mad at himself that he hadn't seen this before (rightly so). They realize they were taxiing back to the terminal and seconds later their pilot joins them and says even though he filed his flight plan, they were refused take off and they told him about the 48 hr. rule. Guess the pilot doesn't keep updated during down times. Bo whips out his cell, refusing to be stopped from finding Hope. Bo gets agitated when they refuse him as well and John takes the phone, trying the diplomatic approach. Nada. John releases the pilot (not wanting him to lose his license), saying he'll return the jet to the hanger himself. John tells Bo they're flying the lear jet themselves (do they have a runway on Melaswen?) Bo said this is a 10 million dollar jet with a lot of electronic controls. John feels he can handle it as Bo's not as confident with John's abilities. Bo worries about Zack and Shawn if he doesn't make it home. John assures him all will be well. If they defy FAA rules, who knows if they won't be shot out of the sky? John is fired up and ready to go and asks Bo if he's still as hell bent to find Hope? Bo's got an adrenaline rush now and knows his sons would be disappointed if he didn't do everything in his power to find their mother and the two gear up, ready for take off. John comments how it's coming back to him, like riding a bike. Bo knew that cliché was due to be said, but John responds if they crash, it won't just be a scraped knee, but they'll have to scrape them off the pavement. They know whomever's behind this ordeal is aware of what they're up to and making plans for them already. Of course Basic Black One is denied take off clearance, but John tells him he's having radio problems. They deny him again and we hear sirens outside as security responds. John decides to take off anyway

ON MELASWEN....
MARLENA mops ROMAN'S sweating brow as he fades in and out. She wants to go fetch more water, but he begs her not to leave him alone. He feels when it's your time, it's your time. She reminds him how much he has to live for and dashes off with the water bottle. A figure comes out of the bushes carrying a syringe and Roman can only barely see the figure and that they're carrying something. He asks who it is being he can't see and the figure holds the syringe near his leg, but rushes off when Roman bellows for Marlena. (could it be Cassie, trying to save her father? Just speculation) The person lurks in the bushes, unseen by Marlena when she returns with water. He regrets losing his eyesight as the last thing he wanted to see was her beautiful face and eyes before he died, so he could tell her how much he loved her. She gives him water as the lurker watches. Marlena tells Roman she realized she did still have feelings for him when he asked her to make love. He chuckles weakly about their beer/champagne tastes. Looking up he remembers how many stars were out and they were almost as beautiful as she was. He asked what the song was that they sang. She only remembers the last words .... as the day becomes night, we will sleep by candlelight, we will laugh and we will sing as the saints go marching in...... he weakly asks her to hold him until it's over. She does so and tells him she loves him and always will, then gives him a kiss. The lurker takes a picture of them kissing (my husband says it must be a woman if they're taking a picture, LOL!) Roman tells Marlena she'll have to walk Sami down the aisle and nods off (dead or unconscious?) as the lurker walks up behind Marlena with the needle. Marlena turns around and startled, they put the syringe down and runs. Marlena finds it and not knowing what's in it..decides she doesn't have a choice as he'll die without it anyway. She injects it into him. He starts spazzing Marlena panics, wondering what she did to him. The lurker walks up behind her as the previews roll...

Belle and Philip are in the hot tub at GML. She asks what they should toast to and he says to us..

Shawn's hitchhiking to GML and asks for a ride. He walks up the window and says “you”..(any guesses if it's Jan?)

Nicole's talking to her conscience, who suggests she comfort the man. Nicole said she can do that. Brady is shown saying “don't you dare”...

Jennifer is weakly cuddling her son, telling him she wants to be with always as Hope begs her not to die on them...

Brady tries to deal with Chloe’s death, Phil & Belle begin their getaway weekend at Green Mountain Lodge, John & Bo defy orders, while both Roman’s & Jennifer’s lives are in jeopardy on the island.

NICOLE COMES DOWNSTAIRS, seeing Brady watching videos of Chloe in Colorado. Nicole talks to her harsh & crass alter ego in the mirror, who tells her she has got the triple crown - Old man Munster is dead, Marlena is blamed for it and she is dead, and now Chloe….so go comfort Brady. Nicole goes in, picks up the remote to turn off the VCR, but Brady grabs her arm, saying “Don’t you dare”. Brady beats himself up for not going with Nancy to the morgue, so he could say a final good-bye. He stalks out, & Nicole talks to Chloe’s image on the TV, asking her to let Brady go. Brady returns, having overheard this, & tells Nik that it is HE who has to let go of Chloe, not the other way around. He wants to wipe out the paparazzi pictures out of his mind, and talks of the wonderful time he & Chloe had in Colorado. Nicole looks at the TV, imagining herself on the beach with Brady in Chloe’s place. The phone rings, & it is Nancy calling Brady, telling him she is calling from the hospital, that it is lucky he did not come with her, as he would not have recognized Chloe. She tells him their sweetheart is now an angel. Brady hangs up, telling Nicole ……she is gone. Nicole holds him & comforts him. But we see Nancy looking over to a hospital bed, where a very much alive, but bandage swathed, Chloe lays. She goes over, telling her she has done what Chloe asked. She did not want to go to Salem, & tell Brady that Chloe was dead, but she did. She tells her that Brady loves her for herself, but her pretty face, but a weak –voiced Chloe says she will never sing again, that she is too disfigured, Ghoul Girl is back worse than before, and it is better like this. Nancy takes her hand and kisses it.

SHAWN’S BIKE IS IN A DITCH 20 miles from GML. He wonders how he can get there with a bum foot. He desperately tries to start his bike to no avail, and begins to walk. A car stops, & he runs up, beginning to ask for a lift, when he sees the driver, and says “You”. (like we don’t realize it has to be Jan…..tho we don’t see today who it is). Meanwhile Philip & Belle arrive at GML. Philip seems to feel awkward, as he babbles a bit….then goes to his own room next door. Belle looks at a small photo of Shawn, remembers Sami’s advice to move on, and throws it away. She goes to the balcony. Philip comes in later….goes onto the balcony to find Belle in the hot tub, champagne in the ice bucket. He tries to open the bottle, has a bit of difficulty as he moves to the edge of the tub. (Boy, I saw this coming a mile away) and as he pops the cork, falls into the tub. They both laugh. Later, Phil must be in his trunks, they are both in the tub, with only a tiny bit of champagne left in the bottle. (Is this not the same girl who had a couple of sips of an alcoholic drink and lost ALL her inhibitions?). They use the remaining drops to make a small toast, Philip kisses her, and Belle suggests they get dressed and go for dinner. They leave the hot tub, and he goes to his room to change, saying he will get dressed and return. Belle wonders if she brought a dress, decides she did, and she put it in the closet. She goes to get it, opens the door…..Oopsy…..tis the door to the adjoining room, and there is Phil, in the complete buff, drying himself off.

AT THE AIRPORT John & Bo take off, ignoring all the emergency vehicles all over the runway. With great effort they pull the plane up and over, but think they heard a piece of metal rip off. John claims the instrument panel shows all is o.k., but we see outside, the wheel drop off. They talk of Stefano, of his ashes in the urn, as Bo informs us all that they could only identify the ashes as human….not that they necessarily belonged to Stefano, that they could not tell who the ashes belonged to. A signal begins beeping on the panel, & John says they have company, another aircraft has them in their sights, ready to fire. John & Bo take evasive action (lol.sorry, but this is pretty funny to me) and lose the plane, but uh oh, they have gone off course and are now in restricted airspace. (And of course, we all know what that means, don’t we?). They are fired upon, and boom, take a hit on one side…..boom, take a hit on the other side. The plane begins to go down.

ON THE ISLAND WE NOW WILL BE CALLING MELASWEN(not much imagination there, huh? Is there a Notroh Point, or Ydarb Waterfalls on that island, lolol). Back to our Salemites. Roman is having seizures, as Abe comes up, sees the hypo and asks Marlena what she has done. They argue as she explains what happened. Marlena cries, and Abe comforts her. The seizure ends, Marlena talks of these old feelings rising up, which have nothing to do with how she feels about John. Abe blames their captor, who is playing games with them. Roman seems to come to, as Abe tells Marlena about Jennifer having the baby, but bleeding internally. Roman urges Marlena to go to Jen, while Abe promises to stay with Roman, but watch out for the masked man. (& does he have a sidekick named Tonto? Sorry….could not help think of the Lone Ranger….Remember how they always asked “Who WAS that masked man? LOLOL) Marlena leaves.

Jennifer wakes up, asking for her baby. Patrick tells Hope she did a good job stitching up Jen, but she is still bleeding internally. As Jen holds her baby, she tells it goodbye….and then passes out. She comes to, talking of having been in a white light, & asks Patrick to leave so she can talk to Hope. Patrick leaves, and Jennifer asks Hope to please let her die. Outside, Patrick (now with his shirt on – and I thought he used that to wrap the baby up???) tells Hope that he thinks they are being watched. Marlena arrives, goes to check Jennifer. She goes outside, telling Hope & Patrick that she does not have a clotting agent, & doesn’t know how long Jen will last. She yells to the unseen MasterMind to do something…and not let Jen die. Inside the cave, a figure appears before Jennifer (wonder how it got past those outside – must have another secret entrance) and she asks “Who are you”. Patrick comes up behind the black clad figure (Bet it is Tony!) saying, “I’d like to know the same damn thing”. Freeze frame…..and the previews for the next Days roll…

Tony tells Marlena that he just arrived, and just in time, judging by Jennifer’s condition. Cuz she’s dying, and I’m the only one who can save her

Summary: Jan captures Shawn once again…Philip and Belle go to dinner…Bo and John crash land on the island, only to get the shock of their lives…and Tony comes to Jen’s rescue.

Shawn flags down a passing car… to find a nun driving the car (of course it’s Jan still lin disguise, with dark glasses). He asks for a ride to Green Mountain Lodge and she oblidges. As the drive, he asks to use her cell phone, but there is no signal. She asks him about the girl he is going to see as he gives her the Reader’s Digest version about how this psycho chick had him locked up all summer. Jan becomes agitated and drives recklessly. She offer him her thermos with “herbal tea” which of course is drugged. He drinks up and becomes woozy as he realizes that they passed the entrance to GML. She begins to cackle and removes the glasses and reveals herself to him, saying “hello lover”. Later we see Shawn duct-taped to a wheelchair as she rolls him along, holding him at gun-point. She tells him if he makes a sound, she will shoot his precious Belle.

Meanwhile…there is a replay of Belle walking in on a nude Philip, embarrassing herself in the proves. He tells her not to worry about it as he apologies for what happened earlier in the hot tub. He puts on shorts as she suggests they go to dinner. He has a gift for her, a necklace and helps her put it on. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife as she excuses herself to get ready. Later, she is talking to Shawn’s picture, telling she still loves him and can’t get him out of her heart. She only wishes her mom were here. Marlena appears in the mirror as both of them cry and Belle tells her she misses her so much. She asks why everyone she loves is leaving her. She tells her mom about Philip and asks what to do. . Marlena tells her, that in time, her choices will be clear….and promises her that she WILL love again. Philip arrives in his dress uniform and asks if she is ready. Belle looks at her mom, who nods yes as she and Philip leave for dinner. In the restaurant, they talk about how long they have known each other and Philip calls Shawn a bastard for treating her like this. Belle gets upset and rushes outside, with Philip following her. As the talk outside, Shawn and Jan are in the bushes watching. Belle asks Philip to hold her which he is happy to do. He kisses her as Shawn yells “Belle” through the duct tape on his mouth. Belle hears him and whirls around saying “oh my God…I can’t believe it…it’s HIM!”

On “Melaswen”…Bo and John struggle to control the plan as they are going down. From the ground, Doug and Victor are out on patrol and see the plan in trouble. They recognize the plane as John Black’s as it goes down and crashes. They go closer to find both John and Bo out cold, both bleeding. Maggie rushes up, having heard the noise as Victor and Doug rush to save them from the burning plane. Maggie gasps as the plane explodes. Doug and Victor pulled them from the wreckage as Maggie rushes to help them. John is the first to come to as he hears Maggie’s voice. Victor is talking to Bo, telling him how much he loves him and how proud he is of him. Bo comes to, looking at him and asks “Am I dead?” Maggie comes back with water as they tend to them. John tells Bo “we need to work on that landing” as Bo calls him “Kimosabe”. (LOL, guess that makes you Tonto, huh?) John is in shock to see them alive as Victor tells them that they are all there and they can answer their questions later at the pub. Victor, Doug and Maggie enter the pub, telling Alice and Caroline to brace themselves, they are in for the shock of their lives as in walks John and Bo. John hugs and kisses Alice as Caroline rushes to Bo hugging him tightly. Bo says it’s a miracle. Bo tells “Ma” and “Mrs H” they are the 2 most beautiful women he has ever seen and John agrees. Victor and Doug get them some food as John and Bo continue to hug and kiss on Alice and Caroline. (so sweet). Alice calls them “Salem’s 2 Biggest Heroes”. John starts asking questions, asking how they all got there, but Maggie explains that none of them really know…and talks about how she just woke up there…in her own house and tells John that his wife was NOT a murderer. John asks where “Doc” is but no one answers. Bo and Caroline are so cute as she asks about the boys and his pop and tells him he looks thin. She tells him about Roman making the transmitter as Bo explains he got the messages. He tells them about digging up graves and the missing bodies. Caroline says thank God for Roman AND for the fact that Bo and John landed INSIDE the perimeter. Bo asks what she is talking about as Victor explains about the jungle beyond the town. Bo asks where Hope is, but no one answers. Finally Victor tells him that Hope, Roman, Marlena, Abe and Patrick went searching for Jennifer and Jack and haven’t been seen or heard from since. They all think that Stefano is responsible for all this and Bo vows to kill him if he isn’t already dead. John is ready to go out and search for the others. He says that they are going to become their captor’s worst nightmare, as Alice raises her glass and says “here, here!”

In the jungle…Abe is with Roman as he is starting to feel better. He is ready to go and look for the others but Abe says he needs to rest. Meanwhile, Marlena is worried for Jen, yelling at their captor to help. Inside the cave, the mystery figure moves closer to Jen and takes the baby. Marlena and Hope hear the commotion (Patrick is fighting with him) and rush inside to see Patrick get kicked. He turns around and yes, it’s Tony, baby in arms. He says he isn’t there to hurt Jennifer or her baby, saying he got there just in time. Marlena demands to know why he is there. He asks about Jack which upsets Jen as Hope suggests they talk outside. He tells them that Jen is dying and that he is t here to save her. Marlena asks if he has acces to medications as Hope asks what he wants in exchange. They hear Jen scream and rush back inside. Tony says he will be right back, as Patrick follows. Tony finds a specific plant and cuts off leaves. Patrick asks if he is Tony DiMera and Tony says they will talk later. They return with the palm leaves as he tells them that Jen must ingest it. Marlena agrees that a lot of medicines are derived from plants and helps Jennifer as Hope holds the baby. Later, Marlena informs them that it seems to be working but they need to get her out of the jungle and into a sterile environment at the risk of infection. Patrick offers to carry her as they strike out. Hope thanks Tony for saving Jen’s life, but Marlena informs him that the jury is still out on him. She tells him that their captor WILL make a mistake and when he does…there will be HELL to pay.

The whole jungle gang meet back up as Roman and Abe are thrilled that they have Jen and the baby and that they are okay. But they are NOT so thrilled to find Tony with them. Tony explains that he used his Zen amulet to open the force field and assures them that he is NOT the enemy. But Roman isn’t so convinced. Hope tells them that Tony saved Jen’s life and that they are taking her back. But Jen doesn’t want to go, she wants to find Jack. Patrick volunteers to go and search for him and Hope says she will go with. But Tony tells them that he know for a fact that Jack is dead…as Jen screams “NOOOOOOO!”…and the previews show…

Roman (to Tony): Jen just gave birth and is ill…the last thing she needs to hear is that her husband is dead. Tony: Jack is gone…

Bo: We are here to find my wife and the others…and that is exactly what we are going to do…

Lucas (to Sami): You are just stringing me along…trying to find out if you still have a chance with Brandon, right?…

Philip (to Belle): In time you will be able to move on and I am hoping that you will fall in love with me. Then we see Philip and Shawn fighting as Shawn punches Philip…

SUMMARY: Sami & Lucas fans are going to like this show as she tells him her true feelings (although it takes the whole show, ha!), John and Bo try to figure out the force field, and Shawn and Jan still lurk outside the GML watching Belle and Philip.

AT SAMI'S, Lucas confronts Sami about her telling Brandon she loves him and asks what that means for them. Clearly rattled, Sami doesn't answer. She tells him Brandon's going to head the new pediatric wing at the hospital. Lucas persists on asking if she'd be willing to go back to Brandon if Brandon asked her to. She thought long and hard about it and has an answer. She tells him nothing has changed. Lucas doesn't buy it and says he won't stay around and watch her self destruct. He heads out and she stops him, saying even if Brandon asked her to come back to him, she wouldn't. Looking him in the eyes, she tells him (Lucas) that he is the only man she wants, now and forever. She asks Lucas to trust her. Brandon asked if she was happy and loved Lucas. Being a counselor they ask those questions she says....like her mom use to. He asks what she told him and she realized she could either live in the past or move on. She said it was an easy decision, and admits enjoying seeing him a little jealous. In tears she confesses that Brandon's history, but Lucas loves her for who she is. She doesn't have to act around him, she can be herself. He asks if she only wants him because he's Will's father and she tells him no...that she doesn't just want him, she needs him to be complete. She loves how he doesn't take any of her crap, nor does he let her get away with anything. She can't imagine her life without him. He asks if she really means it and she asks to show him how much she loves him, needs him, wants him. They kiss and he picks her up and carries her to the bedroom as she shuts the door (why?).

BACK TO GREEN MOUNTAIN LODGE,a replay of Shawn shouting (in his mind only) as he watches Phil and Belle. Belle tells Philip she keeps hearing Shawn in her head. He says he does too, only words to his own advantage as he leads her back inside. He tells her in time she'll get over Shawn as he did Chloe, and he hopes she'll fall in love with him.

Jan agrees to stay and watch Philip and Belle as Shawn hopes Belle senses his presence. Philip tells Belle he's angry how Shawn's absence has affected her (oh, get a grip). Jan jokes with Shawn that it's just like a drive-in movie out there, without the speaker boxes (good one)...as he manages to finally escape. He rushes inside the dining room and starts punching out Philip. After being pulled apart, he tells Belle what happened and tells security to grab Jan Spears who's right there. Security leaps the railing and does so. He vows now that he's back, he's never letting Belle go again. Of course that's one of his infamous daydreams, as he's still back in the wheelchair, gagged, watching Philip and Belle from afar. Later they're standing on the patio looking at the sky as Philip continues his pitch. Music starts and he asks her to dance with him. Jan continues her commentary about how close Philip and Belle are getting as we see Shawn's mouth moving, assumably wetting the tape to loosen it. We return later as Jan points the gun at him, saying she saw some major tongue action as Belle and Philip kiss. She moves away for a closer look as Shawn pushes the tape aside and yells out to Belle to look over there, startling Jan.

IN THE JUNGLE, Hope explains how Tony saved Jen's life using palm fronds. She and Patrick will go find Jack as Tony announces Jack's dead. The others can't believe him saying that IFO Jennifer who just gave birth to Jack's baby and at risk herself. Abe figures if anything happened to Jack, Tony's responsible. They ask if Stefano's behind this, but Tony insists Stefano died in his arms. Suggesting they head to safety, Roman doesn't feel Hope and Patrick should venture out alone to look for Jack. Jennifer speaks up that they can't just ignore he's out there. Tony asks Jennifer to hold her baby and she cautiously hands him over. Tony talks to young Mr. Deveraux about the stories he'll hear about this night in years to come as the others make their plans. He returns the baby to Jen as Hope and Patrick promise to find Jack and leave after the gals exchange an I love you. Marlena, Abe and Roman help Jennifer up as she weakly stands and moans. Patrick and Hope head towards the ravine. Hope still feels Patrick knows more than he's letting on. We see someone lurking in the bushes watching them.

Marlena gives Jen some water as the baby cries (it sounds more like a cat crying to me). Marlena figures the baby's hungry, so they lie Jen on a makeshift stretcher to nurse the baby and rest as they try to find their way out.

AT THE MELASWEN PUB, Caroline gives Bo some ice for his head. Victor and Caroline tell Bo and John about the device Roman made and what happened to it. Although Bo's head is throbbing, he won't be stopped! Caroline explains how Patrick and Hope swam ashore after their own plane was shot down. No one can't explain how Marlena survived. Caroline and Victor show Bo and John where the force field is and explain how the others got through. Bo has an idea. He and John do rock and scissors (LOL) to figure out who's going to try throwing Bo's keys into the force field as John pushes a code. Bo throws his keys and runs, but flies backward, shocked back flat on the ground. They rush to him and while he admits that was a bad idea and that thing packs a whallop (asking if there's steam coming out of his head, LOL)..John tells him he lit up like a Christmas tree. Bo said it would be worth it if he found his wife. John ponders dismantling the controls, but the others talk him out of it. John suggests they make a bamboo ladder and go over it then. Bo flashes back to jumping in the ocean to rescue Hope and fighting Tek off in the helicopter..vowing his wife is not dead. He tells Tek about his “connection” to Hope. He then remembers Tek giving him the blood results that Hope was hurt in the water and has to accept Hope's dead. They hear a noise and Marlena, Abe, Tony, Roman and Jennifer appear. Love the reunion as Bo stops John from rushing into the force field to Marlena, Roman and Bo are excited to see each other as Roman kiddingly asks Bo what took him so long. Caroline asks if Roman's okay and Marlena hugs him and says he is while Tony comments dryly that the Calvary has arrived, haha. Bo asks where Hope is and instead of replying that she and Patrick went to look for Jack, we get that startled, oh my God look that soaps are famous for (I hate that!).

Hope and Patrick are looking for the ravine and he steps out of sight as she calls out to him. She asks who's there...as the previews roll....

Belle tears up Shawn's picture, saying it's over and Philip's just what she needs to forget all about him...

Jan has a regagged Shawn in the wheelchair lurking outside Belle's room, saying he can watch as Philip gives it to his sweet little Belle...

Brady is snuggled up with a lingerie cloaked Nicole, saying she doesn't know how grateful that he is to have her..

Chloe tells Nancy...”how could Brady love me looking like this?”

At Alice’s Bar…Brady is at the bar drowning his sorrows and tells Bonnie to keep ‘em coming. Nicole arrives vowing to make him forget that Chloe ever existed. Meanwhile, Nancy is with a bandaged Chloe, telling her she is making a mistake telling Brady she is dead. Brady continues to drink as Nicole asks him to dance. He looks at her but only sees Chloe’s face, so he dances with her. (Beautiful, but sad song…is that Nadia singing?) We see Brady and Chloe dance. Meanwhile, Nancy urges Chloe to tell Brady the truth. She dials his number and holds the phone up to Chloe. Brady’s phone rings as Nicole urges him to let it go, but he answers it. We see Chloe mouth “Brady” but doesn’t speak. He hangs up as does Nancy. Chloe tells Nancy that he deserves better…she will never sing again and that she now looks like the Phantom of the Opera. The woman he fell in love with is gone. Nancy promises that Craig will get the best plastic surgeons around. Nancy tells her that Brady is living under the same roof as that “viper” Nicole and for Chloe to fight for her man. Chloe tells Nancy she will never recover, it is better this way and that Brady can move on with his life. Nicole wants to dance with Brady some more, but he returns to the bar. Rex cuts him off as Nicole says she will drive him home and helps him out the door. Every time he looks at her, he continues to see Chloe and kisses her. Later, they are at home and she helps him to bed…him still seeing Chloe’s face. They kiss as she begins to undress him. Chloe takes off her bandages to reveal a cut, bruised bloody face and asks her mother… “How can Brady or anyone ever love me again?”

At Rex’s Apartment…Mimi is fixing dinner as they can’t wait to share their news with each other. He goes first and tells her about his job offer and she tells him she will share hers over dinner. She is dancing around and singing (lol) as the phone rings. It is her mom asking her about her test results. Mimi tells her that she does NOT have cancer, but doesn’t tell her the news. Bonnie tells her that she is going after the wrong Brady boy…she should go after Shawn. (Hmmm, Bonnie…kind of difficult if no one knows where he is!) Bonnie plans to break them up and starts by calling back later and demanding that Rex come in to work, since the bar is crowded. He tries to get out of it, but she insists. Mimi is upset, but Rex promises to be back soon. After he is gone, Belle calls and Mimi shares her there is no cancer and she is 200% healthy (she doesn’t tell her she is pregnant). She asks about Philip and asks Belle if she is going to jump his bones (LOL). She tells her that Philip adores her and urges her to go for it.

At Green Mountain Lodge…Jan forces Shawn to continue to watch from the bushes as he gets the tape off his mouth and yells for Belle, but he is too late, she and Philip are gone. They have gone back to their rooms as Belle tells him she is tired and says goodnight at the door. She thanks him for the evening and goes inside. She checks her phone and sees she has a message, thinking it is from Shawn. But it is from Mimi and she calls her (see above). Outside, Jan tells Shawn that it is too late and that by now Philip and Belle are going at it like rabbits. In the room, the adjoining door is open as Belle sees Philip changing clothes. He apologizes and asks if she would like to watch TV or something. She tells him no, she is tired. Later, after calling Mimi, she takes out Shawn’s picture, asking what happened to them. Meanwhile, Shawn pushes/kicks Jan over, making a racket outside. A waiter rushes out asking what is going on. She pretends to be a nun, saying that he is her patient and he has palsy. She apologizes and promises to pay for damages. She wheels him to Belle’s room so he can watch through the window. Belle tears up Shawn’s picture, saying it is over for them. As Philip is getting ready for bed, there is a knock at his door and he finds Belle there, saying she doesn’t want to be alone. She thanks him for being such a gentleman and for doing all this for her. She tells him that she doesn’t want to be alone anymore as he promises her she will never be alone and they make their way to her bed…as Shawn watches through the window.

Back at Alice’s…Rex arrives for work as Bonnie starts bad-mouthing Mimi. She tells him that Mimi won’t stay with a guy long and that his meter is running. She says Meems will get bored with him…if she isn’t already. Later, Mimi shows up as Bonnie tries to head her off. She tells her mom that Rex’s future is growing inside her and she marches over and informs a stunned Rex that she is pregnant (with Bonnie on her heels).

On Maleswen Island…There is a replay of John and Marlena seeing each other as he struggles to get to her, with Bo reminding him of the force field. Marlena tells them about Jen and the baby as Bo wants to know where Hope is. Abe tells him that she went with Patrick to find Jack, but Bo doesn’t trust Patrick. Jennifer tells them not to worry, Patrick is no danger as Marlena backs her up, telling how he delivered the baby and saved Jen. She also tells what Tony did. Upon learning how Tony got through the force field, they want Tony to open it again using his “Zen powers” (can’t help but LOL there). Bo demands he turn it off as Victor tells Tony that they suspect he trashed the transmitter. But Bo says it doesn’t matter now, they got the message anyway. Tony asks if anyone else knows they are there and if there is a search party coming. John tells him no, as Tony continues to claim he is just a victim as well. Bo says it doesn’t matter, he needs to find Hope and that Jen needs help. Tony starts a humming noise as we see the tiny remote in his hand. He clicks open the force field as he puts on his little show and John rushes through to Marlena as Roman rushes through the other way to Bo and Caroline. John and Marlena hug each other as Roman watches. Bo helps Abe bring Jen across and then says he is going to find his wife as he vows to Jen to help Hope find Jack for her. Tony clicks as Bo is on the other side by himself. John asks Marlena if she says she is perfect now, as he says he must help Bo. Caroline tells Roman that she can see his heart is breaking, but he says that John and Marlena love each other and belong together, as he belongs with Kate now. John demands that Tony open the portal again, but he refuses, saying he can’t as Bo rushes off in search of Hope.

Hope and Patrick…get separated as she hears something/someone. He comes up behind her and clasps his hand over her mouth, holding a knife. She sucker punches him asking what is he doing? He says he heard someone too and just didn’t want her to scream. She starts questioning him about Tony and he swears he only knows him by reputation. He swears he isn’t out to hurt anyone, reminding her how he has saved Jen. Hope asks if he is love with Jennifer and he insists that they are just friends and that he cares about her. But Hope thinks otherwise and is sure that he has an agenda as she talks about how many times he has risked his life for Jen (as we see flashbacks). He swears he only wants to protect her, as he KNOWS Jen loves Jack and always will…just like her and Bo. Cue a strange look from Hope as he asks her if anything/anyone has ever come between them . (Okay, setting things up of Billie here, I guess ;-) Somehow, they get separated again as she is attacked by bats (I think). Later they hook back up to restart their search. He asks her again about her and Bo. We see Bo making his way through the jungle as he stumbles across a body on the ground. Hope tells Patrick that the only one that ever came between them was Billie Reed. Bo rolls the body over, saying “Hope”, but it isn’t Hope…guess who?…yes, Bo is shocked as he says “BILLIE!” (hmmm, she looks amazingly like Lisa Rinna here)…and the previews show…

Kate (to Rex): You have a promising career…a wonderful girlfriend…soon you will be wanting to begin a family of your own. Rex: That is the last thing I need right now…

Bonnie (to Mimi): Once you have this baby, your life as Mimi Lockhart will be over…

Patrick (to Hope): Are you worried that Bo may still have feelings for Billie?…

Bo: “What the…? Billie?”…As someone knocks him over the head….

Summary: Bonnie continues to interfere with Mimi and Rex, Kate and Rex chat as she wonders what's happening with the investigation. On Melaswen, Hope fills Patrick in on Billie Reed as we see Billie and Bo find each other. Nicole sees Victor (as her conscience) give her a hard time about Brady only using her as a substitute for Chloe.

ALICE'S BAR & GRILL
Inside Alice's, a replay of Mimi telling Rex she's pregnant. Bonnie heard, but Rex apologizes as the music's too loud and he couldn't hear her. While he rounds the bar, Bonnie says FREEZE and everyone in the room does so, except her. Needing the time to think, she walks around pondering the situation out loud, certain sexy Rexy is not the man her daughter needs. She snaps her fingers again and the action starts (hey, I hit the pause button to type this and even she froze..I don't need to snap my fingers ;-) Max walks in (the dog) and she tells him she has a job for him. Rex takes a five minute break and asks Mimi for her big news. Bonnie promises Max he can watch Clifford, the red dog (he has a thing for the purple poodle Cleo she says) and Max eagerly barks his okay (what a cutie). She gives him a chicken wing and he heads for the door. She calls his name and he stops..but she shoos him out and calls again. She tells Rex she's worried about Max choking on the stolen chicken wing and Rex goes to get him as she pulls Mimi aside.

On her way into Alice's, Kate calls her secretary, looking for John. She remembers when Bo broke into her office and found them close to making love. She is anxious to know what's happening. She looks at a picture of her and Roman, wondering if he could still be alive. Max joins her on the bench and gives her a kiss. Rex rushes up and picks up the chicken wing that Max had dropped on the ground (good boy!) and asks his mother what's wrong. She tells him she's been waiting for a business call from John (remembering how John told her to keep their sleuthing quiet). He notices her snapshot of her and Roman (his father). She tells him she has thought about Roman all day. Rex tells her Roman's not really dead, causing Kate to catch her breath. Rex only says that Roman lives on in them. Max loves Rex and kisses him (sweet) as Rex tells his mother she reminds him of Cassie as they both have/had big hearts. She remembers keeping Cassie away from Philip at the centennial celebration, maybe subconsciously knowing they're siblings. He misses Cassie and wishes she were alive, like Roman, to be a family. She tells him they are a family still and tries to give him some money for rent or to take Mimi out for dinner, but he refuses. He tells her about his teaching asst. job at SU. Happy, she mentions how his life is going well with a nice girlfriend. When she mentions who knows, maybe they'll have a baby themselves one day, he tells her that's too soon. Mimi is definitely the woman for him, but it's too soon right now for them. He smiles, thinking about having a family of his own being he was a test tube baby and raised in a lab. He wants things he never had, a cottage with a white picket fence and a normal childhood for his kids. Kate apologizes he didn't have that. He laughs saying he wants time alone with Mimi before having rug rats. Kate's cell rings and she answers it as Rex picks up Max and carries him back inside (is there any health regulations for animals inside?) It's Tek telling her about John's plane getting shot down. She moans saying it's starting up all over again.

While Rex talks to Kae, Bonnie tries to give Mimi a lecture about being too young, comparing her and Rex to her and Mimi's father. Mimi tells them they're nothing like them, they're not neurotic. When Bonnie reminds her about all the cereal she and her brother ate for meals while young, Mimi corrects her that it's because she had gambled away their food money. Mimi tells her mother to stop dreaming about HER marrying Shawn, that isn't going to happen. Mimi argues with Bonnie that she loves Rex and he'll be there to help her raise the baby. She asks her mother if having her grandchild doesn't mean anything to her? Bonnie lectures her that Rex will feel obligated to marry her if she tells him she's pregnant. Mimi calls Bonnie a hypocrite. When Mimi reminds her mother about stealing her savings she had set aside for college for lotto tickets, Bonnie waves it aside. Bonnie warns her she'll end up on the streets with a baby and will have to move into the habitat house with HER. That causes Mimi's eyes to widen as she pictures coming home in her uniform to a smoky room, seeing Rex drinking beer watching tv, smoking cigars. (Check out his beer belly under his tank top, LOL!) Bonnie tells them she worked two jobs that day and has term papers to write as she's left with little Rexy while Bonnie and Rex head to the bar. Rex asks if Max took the baby out for a walk as they head out the door. Back to reality, Rex joins them, still carrying Max, LOL. Mimi tells him that Bonnie was so happy about his new job that she's giving him the rest of the night off, with pay. She suggests they go back to the loft and start up where they left off. Bonnie warns her she's making a big mistake (as Rex goes for his jacket) and to herself, doesn't need Celeste's fortune telling to know this will end badly.

KIRIAKIS ESTATE
Nicole gets Brady to his bed and he recognizes her as she helps take off his shoes. She's waited a long time for this. She peels both their tops off and kisses him, telling herself she finally won and there's nothing either of them can do about it...as she looks at the pictures of Victor and Chloe next to his bed. We return to Brady dreaming about making love to Chloe..then see him sleeping next to Nicole (both under the sheets). Victor appears and taunts her. He chides her about her Locker Room Lolita videos flying off the shelves she's so talented and asks if Brady would rather be making love with Chloe Lane or her. Right now he's so out of it he doesn't know the difference. He tells her he's part of her conscience and doubts she isn't even on Brady's mind right now. She tells Victor that one day Brady will be saying, Chloe who? He looks up and sees Chloe's face smiling at him and says she's so irresistible as he kisses Nicole. She smirks at Victor and she and Brady try to get it on as Victor tells her that Brady thinks she's Chloe. She vows to ignore him and apparently does so as we see her and Brady kissing and stroking each other. He tells her he loves her and she smirks at Victor again until Brady calls her Chloe. Victor says she's just a substitute for the real thing and laughs as Brady says Nicole's name. Brady is now alert as he wonders how he got there. She rants about him thinking about Chloe while in bed with her and dashes out the room. In the hall, conscience Victor tells her no one could ever love a slut like her. She rushes into her room and cries, draped in the black sheet. She knows Victor was right and slides to the floor in tears. Brady would rather have dead Chloe than alive her. She's less than nothing and blames her father for doing this to her. Brady joins her and gives her a robe. Crying, she tells him he's like all the rest who used her and threw her away. He tells her that's not true and asks to make love with her. He kisses her softly on the cheek and they start kissing.

MELASWEN
A replay of Bo hearing a scream and running to find Billie. (A new actress is playing the part). They ask what each other's doing there and she kisses him. She apologizes, saying she had to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She doesn't know how she got there and is worried about his hurt head. She tells him she thought Marlena was the Salem Stalker and came up with another theory when she was kidnapped. She hears a noise and figures “they're here” and they have to run and they do so.

Hope and Patrick search the jungle with their flashlight as he asks about the person who came between her and Bo. She tells him her name, Billie Reed. Tired of defending himself, he asks for more info on Billie. She tells him that Bo was married to Billie at one time. She explains about the explosion that supposedly she (Hope) was killed in in front of Bo and while she was imprisoned by Stefano, he met and married Billie. She returned with amnesia and came to her senses finally and she and Bo got married. Billie returned to Salem years later and thought she worked for the Salem PD, but was really working for her ex fiancee, Larry Welch. She ended up going to work for the ISA. Patrick asks if she's still worried about Bo's feelings for Billie. Yelling for Jack, they stop to catch their breath and talk more about how Bo went to Europe recently to find Billie. Hope admits Billie would stop at nothing to get Bo back.

We see Billie collapse and when Bo finds her, he gets hit as well. Hope senses something's wrong up ahead and rushes forward. Bo wakes up and Billie's gone. Hope hears something and Patrick only hears birds and frogs (they ARE awful loud compared to before, LOL) as Hope thinks she heard Bo and rushes ahead. They edge up to the cliff edge and look down to see a male figure lying on a ledge. He asks if it's Jack and she tells him it can't be, as she looks around...when the previews roll....

Bonnie calls Mimi and tells her there are ways for a girl to become unpregnant....

Brady tells Nicole that he was told to find happiness and that's what he's determined to do....

John tells Marlena if I didn't know better, I would think you didn't want to be with me.

Shawn looks into Belle's GML window as we see Philip asking Belle if she's sure this is was she wants.

Love is in the air…..or at least lust and sex are, as various couples try to express their feelings. The islanders start to get each other up to speed, and begin to exchange theories as to what has brought them this far.

REX & MIMI arrive home, & immediately the phone rings. Of course it is Bonnie, & Meems hangs up on her. She goes to put the dinner on the table, but upon opening the oven door, finds dinner is ruined, & is very upset. Rex says tis late anyway, they’ll make popcorn, watch the movie she wanted to see the previous nite – “Ready or Not” – he reads the description……a couple on the fast track to their careers gets their lives turned upside down when they have a baby. A 2 thumbs up movie. Mimi asks how he would feel about a baby, and he says it would be the most exciting thing……but not yet. Her face falls as he explains how his new job won’t pay much, and she has yet to finish college. He goes to take a shower, & the mother from hell calls again, telling Mimi there are ways for a girl to get unpregnant. Mimi refuses to consider such a thing…saying adoption is also an option, but Bonnie goes on & on about how her belly getting bigger will make Rex realize she is having his baby, insist on marrying her, then be resentful all their lives. (Man, Bonnie is a piece of work!) Mimi hangs up on her again (good for her), cries, & then hugs Rex who comes into the room, just saying how much she loves him.

NICOLE & BRADY are in bed, making out, when Nicole stops him, wanting to be sure he knows what he is doing. He assures her he does, & she murmurs she just wanted to be sure he wasn’t thinking of Chloe. THAT causes Brady to stop, turn away to Chloe’s picture, while Nicole’s conscience, Victor, appears, laughing at how she blew it. As Brady looks at Chloe’s picture, Nicole apologizes, but Brady talks of how Chloe will always be in his heart, and would want him to move on, and he is. (Boy, the mourning periods in Salem grow shorter and shorter, huh?) Nicole is in 7th heaven, as Brady resumes the lovemaking.

ON THE ISLAND John & Marlena arrive at the penthouse (& I have to say these two can steam up the screen so fast, lol) and immediately go into a big kiss. John wants nothing but to make love to his wife, & as they begin to go upstairs the doorbell rings. It is Roman & Victor, wanting to bring John up to speed, get things rolling so they can figure it all out. Marlena agrees, and goes to make coffee. John follows, telling her the debriefing can wait, but she says no, it is better to do it now. He tells her that if he didn’t know better, he’d think she didn’t want to be with him. Marlena reassures him. John joins Victor & Roman & asks how they got there. They do not know, but figure they were given some sort of herbs or drug to make it look as tho they were dead, & that all the murders were staged. Marlena was given implanted memories for her “confession”. John tells about the teddy bear showing up, that was supposed to be in Marlena’s coffin, how they dug the coffin up, no teddy bear, and no Marlena. Roman thinks their bodies were switched with identical corpses, made up to look like them, before they were buried, but John says no. John explains how Bo was convinced Hope was still alive, how he figured out Roman’s signal code, & how they exhumed the bodies of Roman & Abe, to find empty coffins. Victor thinks the fake bodies may have been removed so they could not be tested. John says there would be no reason to remove fake bodies…..except that everyone knew about Marlena’s coffin being empty….and maybe the person responsible reasoned other coffins might be dug up.

They ask Victor about his death, as he was not part of the SK murders, but he says it is personal business, & when he gets back, everyone who conspired to do him in will get exactly what is coming to them. (oooh, cannot wait for that……love Vic). John tells him that his widow is not exactly mourning him, that Brady thinks she is soooo innocent, and how Nicole is playing Brady like a slide trombone. Victor replies that he guessed as much, after seeing them at the Penthouse Grill. John is puzzled, & Roman explains the “gift” from their captor being that live feed so they could see all their loved ones.(You can see the emotions crossing faces here). Victor says John must be exhausted & they should continue this in the morning. John says he just wants to go to bed. Victor leaves, Roman asks Marlena if he can run upstairs to get his things. Cue John to look startled, & thus John gets the news that Roman has been living with Marlena to “protect her”. (Wonder who was protecting his mother, Alice, Maggie, etc.Sure did not worry about them, huh?). Marlena explains that all there have been in danger. John thanks Roman for taking care of his wife, & Roman replies that he took care of Marlena just like John took care of Kate. This causes John to have flashback to the almost desk sex with Kate. John tells him that it has been very difficult for Kate, that she misses him just like John missed Marlena.

Roman goes upstairs, as John apologizes to Marlena for acting like a jealous fool. They kiss, embrace, & tell each other how much they love one another. Roman comes down, looks at them, then leaves. He finds Victor in the hall, waiting for him. They talk of getting back to their loved ones in Salem. Roman mentions his mother, but Victor says he knows Caroline is anxious to get back to her husband.

AT GREEN MOUNTAIN LODGE Jan wheels Shawn outside the window, so he can see into the room, where Belle & Philip are in bed. Belle is into it, then stops, as she cannot go on. Outside, Jan continually taunts Shawn, who just sits there, no struggle, no attempt to tip the chair over, not even humming. Inside Philip tries to reassure Belle that it is o.k, & he realizes Belle still wants Shawn, but really puts Shawn down. He pledges his love & fidelity, asking her to put those purity rings away and wear his Marine ring. He tells her he will not pressure her (oh, yeah, what do you call what you are doing, Phil?) & says he would do anything for her, even stand on his head. She turns around to find him doing just that. Oh, GMAB! Belle talks of how the purity rings meant a commitment between them, and Shawn has obviously gone his own way now. She puts them in her purse, tells Philip she will wear his ring, but only around her neck, on the necklace he gave her, & agrees to bed him. He puts it on for her. He picks her up, and takes her to the bed. Outside, Jan gleefully chuckles, saying Semper Fi…..& plant that flag. (Ugh!) She wishes she had a camera, but knows that this is a sight Shawn will never forget. Freeze frame on Shawn…….. as the previews for the next episode roll

Jennifer is in bed, holding her baby, asking Alice & Maggie where Jack is. She begins to cry at no answer, saying she lost him once, and she cannot do it again.

Marlena tells John, while both in the shower, that “Roman & I have gotten closer – we almost made love”

Shawn tells Jan there is “no way you can ever make me have sex with you”, as Jan replies he should not be too sure” (probably give him drugged tea again, jeez)

In the jungle, Bo is yelling at Patrick to get the hell away from his wife….as he pushes him away. Patrick teeters on the edge of yet another cliff!

Summary: Jan forces Shawn to watch as Philip and Belle almost do the deed (yawn…same old, same old)…Marlena confesses to John concerning Roman, but he holds back about him and Kate…Alice, Maggie and Roman help tend to Jennifer and the baby…Bo and Hope are reunited as she finds out about Billie being there and they find someone on a ledge.

At Green Mountain Lodge…Philip and Belle are kissing as Jan continues to force Shawn to watch. (This is getting SO old…hard not to fast forward thru this). Belle stops Philip, thinking of Shawn…then finally tells him she is ready to move on. Jan laughs, saying she is getting turned on and that this is better than “SKINEMAX” (okay, good one). Shawn tries sending telepathic waves to Belle as Jan sees a tear rolling down Shawn’s face and tells him that Philip is “boldly going where no Shawn has before” (Okay, I gotta admit, Jan does get some good lines, and Heather’s delivery is perfect…but the story is just so over). As Shawn continues to work on the duct tape, Belle looks at Philip and he morphs into Shawn and she tells him to make love to her. Shawn rips the duct tape off and rushes inside and punches Philip (yes, it is one of those stupid day dreams as he is still taped and tied up). Philip pulls out a condom as Jan tells Shawn she won’t make he watch any more and wheels him away. What they don’t see is Belle see a vision of Shawn and jump up and run to the bathroom crying. Philip tries to coax her out of the bathroom. Elsewhere, Jan has wheeled Shawn away and removes the duct tape from his mouth as he screams for Belle (almost bursting Jan’s ear drums) but she tells him no one can hear. Belle tells Philip she can’t because of Shawn…it’s like he is there. Shawn begs Jan to let him go, but she says she is taking him back to their love nest. He says there is NO WAY he will have sex with her but she tells him not to be so sure. Belle tells Philip that she needs more time as they hug and a tear rolls down her cheek. PLEASE wake me up when this is over ;-)

On Melaswen…John and Marlena are in the shower talking (sorry, but with the water, it is hard to hear what they are saying). He is talking about how much he loves her and as she looks at him, he changes into Roman. She turns around to find John there too. (Oooo…ménage a trios?…lol). Back to reality, John asks her what is wrong. As they kiss, she has flashbacks of her and Roman in the jungle as they kiss and he asks her to make love to him. She pulls away from John as he asks her again what is wrong. She tells him about her and Roman getting closer and that they almost made love, shocking John. Later, they are in their robes in the bedroom as John wants to talk about it. She has trouble explaining but does her best explaining about Roman’s injury and what almost happened. John asks why she even considered it, but she says she can’t say and blames it on the island and the predicament they are in. But John isn’t swallowing her explanation and asks if she has fallen back into love with Roman. She says she will always love Roman, but not the same way she loves John. John tells her that he loves her with all his heart and soul as they hug. She turns away from him (as she turns the tables) and talks about the video feed they got from the Penthouse Grill, where she saw him and Kate. She asks him about it. He avoids her question as he has flashbacks of their makeout session on the rooftop in the rain. Marlena asks John point blank if he thought about moving on with Kate and he tells her no…and then they hug.

Jennifer is asleep as Alice and Maggie watch over her (Alice is holding the baby). They talk about how it is a miracle and how Jen’s love for Jack kept her going. She wakes up calling for the baby. She holds him as she asks about Jack. She cries “please don’t tell me I have lost him again”. But Alice and Maggie assure her that he will turn up soon and urge her to have faith, but Jen fears the worst. Maggie tells her that she and Jack will reunite just like Bo and Hope as well as John and Marlena…nothing can destroy great loves like that …just as Roman walks up and hears. He had come over with a box of baby stuff that had been left at the pub. He and Maggie take the things downstairs as Alice encourages Jen to rest. Downstairs, Maggie tries to get Roman to rest as he says he must get back to help Ma. She tells him that Victor is there which worries Roman, but she tells him that they care for each other just like him and Marlena. She notices his strange expression and asks if his feelings for Marlena are back and he says yes. She tells him that she and Alice had noticed it. But Maggie (the eternal optimist) assures him that their predicament is causing it all and that when they get back home all will be fine…he will have Kate and she will have her true love, Mickey. Roman asks what if she is wrong. She says they must believe in their loved ones and have faith. He reminds her that they all think they are dead…and if/when they get home, their lives and everything will be different. Upstairs, as Jen sleeps and Alice rocks the baby, she tells him that his grandpa Tom is looking out for them and his daddy. The wind blows the curtains and a candle flickers. She looks over, asking “What are you trying to tell me Tom…is Jack dead?”

Meanwhile…Bo remembers finding Bille, then getting knocked out. When he came to, she was gone. He hears someone calling for help and is sure it is Hope’s voice and rushes off. Hope and Patrick are still searching for Jack as she hears Bo’s voice. She looks over the edge of a cliff and sees someone below but can’t tell who it is. She is sure it is Bo and is determined to go to him. From the bushes, Bo sees Patrick struggling with HoPe (trying to stop her) and rushes over and pushes him away and almost over the edge of the cliff. Hope intervenes, trying to explain but Bo wants to kill Patrick for kidnapping Hope. She stops him trying to explain as they hug and kiss. Bo tries to convince Hope that Patrick is involved in all this and she admits to having those thoughts too. They all look below, but can’t see who it is because of the fog. Bo says “Billie” and tells Hope that she is on the island as well. Hope is shocked as he explains about finding Billie and thinking it was her (Hope) and how she disappeared. Patrick volunteers to go down and see who is on the ledge, but Bo tells him no, to stay away from his family and friends. Bo says HE is going as Hope tries to stop him. As Bo and Patrick argue, Hope ties the vine rope around her waist and tells them to just keep fighting like little school boys, SHE is going and disappears over the ledge. Bo rushes over calling her name…as the previews show…

Sami (toasting herself and says aloud): “Kate won’t be around for long” as Kate listens and says to herself “So much for our truce, Sami”…

Mimi (to Belle): Shawn is history…so get over him or end up a bitter, lonely old maid…

Shawn shoves Jan down and tells her to shut up as he breaksfree. He says she is going to pay for what she did to him (another fantasy?)…

Patrick (climbing down the vine rope): I am almost there. The vine breaks as we see him drop into the water below…

And the credits roll…

Laney

SAMI'S APARTMENT
Lucas and Sami anxiously await their son's return home from camp. She suggests they go on a family vacation, maybe even on their honeymoon. Lucas likes the idea. They talk about wedding plans and his looking for a job when the doorbell rings (Will has to ring the doorbell?). Sami announces she wants a great big hug as Lucas opens the door to Kate. She is also anxious to see Will and wanted to take him to a ball game the next day. Lucas asks Kate to leave, saying he and Sami want to take Will to dinner and tell him about their engagement alone. Kate asks about the game and compromising, Lucas suggest that Kate take Will the next day. Sami wants as much time with Will as she can get (doesn't she work any more either?) before school starts, but Lucas suggests Will go to the game with Kate and he and her will shop for clothes alone. Sami smiles and agrees, leaving Kate suspicious. She remembers the scene when Lucas demanded they call a truce and leaves, smiling.

Will walks in wearing sun glasses and in his best terminator accent, says I'm Back. Lucas and Sami rush to hug, but Lucas offers a handshake when Will says he's too old for that, laughing. Sami wants to know all about camp. They tell him they have a surprise for him, but first ask what he missed most while at camp. He tells them his own bed, then chinese food. They tell him they're going to take him to his favorite chinese restaurant for dinner and he's stoked.

MELASWEN
A replay of Hope mad at the two guys arguing, taking the vine and jumping over the edge. They rush over and pull her up. With Bo's hurt head and Patrick's injured shoulder, she insists she's the right choice. Bo disagrees and she takes it Bo means she can't rescue whomever it is on the ledge because she's a woman. She stands up for Patrick, reminding Bo of all Patrick's done for her and Jennifer. As the two start to talk about Billie, Patrick takes the vine and goes over the side. He hangs from the vine claiming it's too foggy to tell what sex the person is and the vine breaks as he goes down farther to look. They pull him up as the vine starts to break more and it rubs against the rock..ready to break in two. It finally does and he falls into the raging river below as Hope yells Noooooo....

JAN & SHAWN
An exhausted Jan brings Shawn home. He starts to choke and worried, she pulls his gag off. He launches out of the wheelchair and tells her to shut up. He tells her that she's insane and she continues her rant about Belle and Philip. He insists he doesn't want to live without Belle and walks out as Jan wails and throws a fit. As she tosses things around, she picks up her cupie doll and remembers she got Shawn back once, she can do it again. She hears the doll saying it's not Shawn's fault, it's Bitch Belle's. (yawn....wake me up when this storyline is OVER!!!!)

Shawn is riding his motorcyle (even wearing his helmet), anxious to get back to GML to stop Belle and Philip. He remembers seeing them get ready to make love as he guns the engine, angry at Philip. He arrives and kicks in the patio doors to their room. Both rooms are empty and when he hears a knock on the door, opens the door to room service. The guy knows it's not Shawn's room, but Shawn grabs him by the coat and demands to know where the couple is. The waiter threatens to call security and Shawn lets go and sort of apologizes. He asks where the couple is and the waiter eggs him on by saying the cute blonde and the Marine? He must have gotten what he wanted ordering their best bubbly and imported chocolates, especially on his salary. Shawn throws the bottle of champagne into the fireplace as the waiter steps back. Shawn growls that the Marine already paid for it and to get out. The waiter threatens to bring back security, so Shawn had better be gone when he gets there. Shawn asks himself how Belle could betray their love and go to bed with Philip. (uh, the fact that they're gone should mean something Shawn)

MIMI Thinking Rex might not want a baby, Mimi goes to Belle's loft to think for a while. (Someone suggested she talk with Sami on the subject being she's been there, done that.) She remembers Bonnie suggesting an abortion. Belle and Philip return from GML and find Meem's drinking a cup of hot tea. Claiming insomnia, she came over there while Rex slept. She asks why they're home and Belle rushes upstairs crying. Mimi asks what Philip did to her, but he blames Shawn for leaving and Belle not able to get him off her mind. Kate calls him to see how things are going and learns he's home early from GML. She tells him she's having a late dinner at her favorite chinese restaurant downtown and he tells her he'll join her. He tells Mimi that Belle needs someone to talk to and leaves. Mimi tells herself this evening is turning out to suck for everyone. Later she and Belle both sip tea as Belle tells Mimi that they had a good time dancing, hot tub, dinner, and went to bed as she flashes back to popping out of bed, not being able to make love. Mimi can't believe it. Belle can't understand why she did that and Meems tells her to move on with Philip as he's there and wants her. She'll end up a lonely old maid if she doesn't. Belle knows Mimi's right, just can't forget Shawn. Mimi understands as even though she's not dying, things still don't always work out. Belle asks Mimi what's wrong and Mimi tells her about Rex's new job. She figures Mimi and Rex are on track and will probably be the first to get married.

CHINESE RESTAURANT
Philip has a drink and talks to Kate while she eats. He thinks things are progressing nicely, knowing it's going to take a while for Belle to get over Shawn. Philip tries to tell Kate that Lucas loves Sami and is happy, so she should be happy about it. She tells him she's going to try and stay neutral. Sami's agreed to bury the hatchet, Kate hopes it's just not in her back, LOL.

Lucas, Sami and Will arrive and sit in their own booth. Sami's been “craving” egg rolls and slips asking Lucas if maybe they should have chinese food catered...when Lucas stops her. Will wants to know their news being they're at the restaurant and Lucas tells him. Will is thrilled, but wonders what Grandma Kate will do when she finds out. Lucas tells him they've made peace and get along now. Will can't believe that, but Sami says they're like two peas in a pod. Later Will suggests his parents do the love noodle (like the spaghetti in the Lady and the Tramp), but Sami passes. He and Lucas go to check out the lobsters and the prawns as Sami eats. She sees Kate's face in a fish in the aquarium and tells it (out loud of course) that she's going to cut her up and use her for chum. She won't be around long. Kate (in the next booth and alone being Philip left) overhears and peers through the greenery, knowing their truce was a sham. (can't believe that even though she was talking to Philip, couldn't overhear the next table talking and laughing).

PREVIEWS FOR THE NEXT DOOL Rex tells Philip that Belle's in love with Shawn, but Philip tells him that that bastard broke her heart and doesn't deserve her, period!

Mimi tells Belle that she's not telling Rex she's pregnant. Belle asks if she's seriously thinking of getting rid of the baby?

We see Hope has climbed down the unstable vine and finds the person on the ledge has no pulse and is probably dead...

Summary: As Maggie, Marlena and Alice worry about Jen…Bo and Hope bring home a surprise…Tough decisions are in order for Mimi…and Shawn runs into trouble on his way back to Belle.

At the Florist…Rex goes to buy Mimi roses as the florist informs him it is his last dozen. Philip arrives and offers 3 times what Rex is paying. Well this leads to a huge argument with Rex taking Shawn’s side. They are headed outside to slug it out when the florist has a solution. He divides the roses into 2 bouquets and adds more flowers…problem solved. Well for the moment. They guys take their flowers and leave. Meanwhile at the loft, Belle fills Mimi in on what happened with her and Philip with Mimi encouraging her to go after Philip. Belle notices something is wrong and asks Mimi about it. Mimi tells her about being pregnant, but makes Belle promise not to tell anyone…she and her mom are the only ones who know. She tells her about Rex’s new job and worries about how a baby would ruin everything. Belle encourages her to talk it over with Rex, but Mimi doesn’t want him to know. She feels that they would be doomed from the start and doesn’t want to ruin his life. She tells Belle about how she hinted at it before and his reaction. But Belle continues to urge her to be honest with him…he deserves to know. She tells her that keeping secrets will destroy them for sure…she knows. Mimi talks about ending the pregnancy and Belle tries to talk her out of it…she MUST discuss it with Rex. As they hug, Belle notices she is shivering and goes to get her a shawl. (I can’t remember where, but somewhere in there, Belle got a horrible feeling that Shawn was in trouble…see below). After Belle leaves, Philip comes in with the flowers and Mimi sends him upstairs. When he gets up there, he finds Belle holding a picture of Shawn telling him that she cannot get over him and will always love him. Philip drops his flowers in the trash. Downstairs, Mimi calls the Family Planning Center asking for the number for abortion services…as Rex walks in. He asks her “Who is having an abortion?”

Meanwhile, at Green Mountain Lodge…Shawn is still in the room, having flashbacks of seeing Belle and Philip together and Jan taunting him. He gets on his motorcycle and heads off to find her. As he drives along, he continues to have flashbacks, getting angrier and angrier. We see him swerve and head toward an alley. He hits garbage cans, then a brick wall. Later, we see him with blood all over his head and face. (This is when Belle got her feeling about him). Later, we see paramedics there with him, saying it is bad and that maybe they need a body bag. Later, they are wheeling him into the hospital as we hear them saying he has massive head trauma. They resuscitated him but his pulse is weak and that he may not make it. Near the end of the show, we hear a doctor saying he is bad and may end up brain dead.

On Melaswen…Bo and Hope watch as Patrick falls into the rushing water below, with Bo sure that he couldn’t have survived the fall. He wants to go down and check the ledge, but Hope won’t let him, considering what just happened to Patrick. She argues her case (She is lighter and that he can pull up whoever is down there) and he finally gives in to lower HER down, after their I love you’s and kisses. She gets to the ledge to find Jack there, not breathing and no pulse she can find and she fears him dead. He moans as Hope tries to revive him. She ties the rope to him as Bo (with bloody hands) pulls him up to the ledge. He then pulls up Hope as Jack moans “Jennifer”. Hope wants to look for Patrick, but Bo says he is probably dead. Hope looks over the ledge and says “Goodbye Patrick…thank you” and off they go with Jack.

Meanwhile…at Jennifer’s House…Marlena and Maggie are there worrying over Jennifer as she dreams of Jack…him telling her goodbye. She cries out his name in her sleep, which disturbs the ladies. In her dream, she tells him of their son as he tells her that he will love them forever then starts walking away as she cries for him to come back to her. Later, Alice is there with them as they all worry about her. Marlena says that what Jennifer needs right now is a big dose of good news…as we hear Hope’s voice say “Maybe we can help” and they round the corner, helping Jack into the house. Jen hears him call to her and she wakes up. Bo and Hope help him over to her as they hug, kiss and cry. (J&J fans will love this). Everyone else is smiling at them as he asks about the baby. Jennifer tells him that HE is fine and Jack is so excited. Maggie brings him over as Jack holds him and then they hug with the baby between them. Maggie takes the baby to change him and Marlena insists she check Jack out, even though he swears he is fine. Marlena asks how they got through the force field (I was wondering myself) and Hope tells them with the help of Patrick’s doubloon and pulls it out. Jen asks where Patrick is and Hope informs her that he is dead. Jen is shocked and says he must be alive, but Bo and Hope are sure he didn’t survive. Jen is heartbroken as she talks about all he did for her and then risked his life looking for Jack. She tells about how he helped her with the doubloon and now maybe it will work for him. She takes it and prays for him. Marlena comes back and tells them that Jack was dehydrated and she gave him antibiotics. He will be fine. Marlena wants to check Bo as well and notices the knot on his head. She asks how that happened as he has flashbacks of following Billie and then getting knocked out. He goes and asks Jennifer if he can borrow the doubloon and leaves, telling Marlena he has something to do and for them to keep Hope occupied. Hope follows him outside and they hug. He tells her that he is going back into the jungle, but not to look for Patrick. She says “Oh my God…you are going after Billie aren’t you?”…as the previews show…

Nicole (to Jan): You can’t kill Belle! Jan: Why not? Nicole: My God…you can’t just go around killing people…

Hope (to Bo): Maybe Billie’s in on it…maybe this whole plan was designed to break us up…

Mimi (to Rex): Rex, there’s something I need to tell you…

Philip (to Belle): What happened? Belle: Lexie won’t tell me, but I feel something has happened to Shawn…

Summary: Bo and Hope talk about Billie, Belle gets some bad news about Shawn, Nicole and Brady go out for Chinese, Jan looks for help from Nicole again, Mimi tries to tell Rex about the baby.

REX WALKS INTO THE LOFT with flowers to overhear Mimi calling information for Family Services about an abortion. He thinks he knows what's going on, that she's calling for Belle about birth control should she and Philip do anything. She tells him that's sweet he's concerned. Changing the subject, she loves the flowers as he asks why she didn't sleep well the night before. She hears Belle's voice to tell Rex the truth as she looks in the mirror and sees herself VERY pregnant. Rex asks if she regrets sleeping with him and she assures him no, but to herself, wishes she just wasn't pregnant. Mimi admits there are good reasons to wait until you're married before having sex, but she loves him and doesn't regret being with him. He shares her feelings, about being together forever. She's the only person, other than Cassie, that he trusts implicitly. She tells him there's something she has to tell him (turn off the phones first). Rex tells her his dream is to have children and give them everything he and Cassie never had. Mimi's hopes rise, but he crashes them by saying it's not the right time now as she has to finish school and he needs to get his career going first. That's why they use birth control, right? Mimi solemnly agrees as he holds her.

AT THE CHINESE RESTAURANT....Ah so, everyone is craving Chinese food in Salem lately. Nicole tells him she's been craving Chinese food, but it won't satisfy all her cravings. They're sitting at the same table Sami and Lucas were at earlier (just what time is it? Didn't Kate tell Philip she was having a “Late” dinner?) He asked if making love 4 times wasn't enough, but she thinks to herself with Chloe gone, there's nothing in her way now.. Jan arrives, recognizing Nicole's car out front (guess Brady's is in the shop?) She needs her help to find Shawn before he gets to Belle and Philip. A flaming appetizer arrives that she ordered just for him. It's HOT and he kids about dunking his head in the fish tank to cool off as she stares at the tank and sees Jan's face (like Sami saw Kate's) on a fish. She sees Jan (who's wearing a Chinese style dress and hairstyle) and tells Brady she's going to the ladies room before their main course. She pulls Jan aside to hear Shawn's escaped and Jan needs her help. Nicole advises Jan to get on a plane out of Salem before Shawn turns her in to the cops. She tells Jan to burn down the country house with all the evidence inside first. She tells Jan she can't make someone love them, especially after committing major felonies against them. Jan figures Nicole wants to get rid of her because she has the proof she killed Colin Murphy. Nicole eyes some decorative knives and Jan warns her that her lawyer will turn over a package to the DA if anything happens to her..and Nicole will be behind bars faster than she can say do-do. (hate Jan storyline, but the actress playing her, Heather Lindell, is great in the part!) She feels Shawn is close to begging for her. Jan mentions Nicole has Brady now, but Nicole said it's only because her girlfriend Chloe is dead. That gives Jan an idea, to kill Belle. Nicole tells her no, she can't do that as Belle's Brady's sister and you can't go around killing people. Brady overhears their voices and asks what's going on? Nicole pretends to order a special dessert and Jan bows and heads outside as they head back to their table. Outside Jan decides she has to find Belle and kill her. She must change in a phone booth, as we next see her walking, wearing pants and a sweater and sees the roped off area where Shawn crashed his motorcycle. One of Salem's finest has the area taped off (it's not a crime scene, just an accident and the bike's still there.) She recognizes Shawn's bike and grabs the cop for information.

Back at their table, Brady takes Nicole's hand and knows they've both had a lot going on in their lives. He's thankful to have her and his sister Belle. He doesn't know what he'd do if he lost her. Nicole cracks, saying he can't lose Belle, fearful that Jan might follow through on her threat.

BACK AT THE LOFT... Philip overhears Belle telling Shawn's picture she still loves him. He tells her that Shawn will always be this big brick wall between them and dumps the flowers in the trash. She tells him about her strange gut feeling she's having, that she'll never see Shawn again. Philip promises not to rush her. She breaks down saying Shawn use to always say they'd always be together and as long as he's alive, she doesn't know if she could love anyone else the same way. Philip offers to track Shawn down, wherever he is, to have him tell her it's over. She feels it's too late. With his contacts in the ISA and the Marine Corp, Philip knows he can track down Shawn so he can tell her it's over. He apologizes to her, thinking she's afraid it will be over that way. She figures seeing Shawn eye to eye, he might realize how strong their love is. Philip grows frustrated. They come down stairs (they were in her room at the loft) and Mimi and Rex are there.
