Be certified in another state equivalent to AZ POST certification and
Successfully challenge the AZ POST certification waiver examination.
Be able to pass a background investigation and a polygraph exam.
Be in good health and able to meet minimum AZ POST standards.
Pass an oral board examination.
Complete an on-the-job, paid Field Training Program.
